throughout this week we have seen many tributes posted to social media from various artists Within the Music Industry honoring remembering and recognizing the significant loss of Toby Keith who is truly one of the greatest to ever do it in the business the man is an icon and now one of those country artists have turned back to their social media but this time however he has called out Taylor Swift for her silence on social media regarding the passing of Toby Keith according to Newsweek country Star John Rich turned to his ex account account following the announcement of Toby Keith's passing and called out Taylor Swift asking when she would share words about the man who discovered her John Rich wrote when is Taylor Swift going to share some words about Toby Keith the man who discovered her got her the first record deal Taylor where are you today also attached to John Rich's post is an interview clip back from the year of 2005 where Taylor Swift addressed how thankful she was that she had landed a deal and that it was a dream come true as well as mentioning just how Star Struck she was by Toby Keith for those who may not be entirely up to speed Toby Keith and Scott borchetta partnered in the beginnings of what is known as Big Machine Records who ultimately signed Taylor to her first record deal around 2005 Toby Keith was invested in signing Taylor Swift after he saw her perform in the year of 2004 out at the iconic Bluebird Cafe and now nville Tennessee and then again when she performed her songs in front of both Toby and Scott boretta which again ultimately got her signed to Big Machine records with her break into the music industry now many commented back on John Rich's post wondering the same thing when might Taylor say something about Toby Keith and honor him and as of now it does not appear that a post had been made onto any of Taylor's social media accounts but let's be real here for a second social media is not the only place where things can be handled it is very very possible that Taylor Swift could have reached out privately to Toby's family and passed along her condolences as well as any words that she wanted to share and say about Toby Keith with the magnitude of Toby and Taylor's relationship I would say it is certainly possible that Taylor felt it would be more appropriate to speak directly with Toby's family and not just to leave a post onto her social media but of course guys we would love to know your thoughts on this down below in the comments as always thank you all for tuning in that will be it for today's video here on Country cast
