hey Cowboys Nation welcome to another episode of Dallas Cowboys today today we have some important news about one of the key players in our offense and I'm sure it's going to have some of you feeling a bit nervous but hold on before we get into it make sure to hit that like button subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications so you don't miss any updates from this actionpack season now if you watch the Cowboys win over the Cleveland Browns you know we dominated the game winning 33 to 17 but not everything went perfectly during the third quarter our Pro Bowl tight end Jake Ferguson left the game with a knee injury he didn't return and that had a lot of fans worried because Ferguson is a crucial part of our offense here's what we know so far the initial diagnosis is positive Ferguson's ACL is intact and he even left the stadium walking on his own without crutches or a brace which is a great sign and on Monday after further tests it was confirmed that Ferguson only suffered an MCL spraining and that won't end this season thank God as he posted on social media himself God is good now Dak Prescott our quarterback spoke about how important Ferguson is to the team emphasizing his confidence in the players recovery according to Dak whether it's a matter of days or weeks he's optimistic that our te will heal up and come back strong so what's going to happen while Ferguson recovers Mike McCarthy has already mentioned that the plan is to work with the return to play group this week in the meantime we'll see more of Ricky Bren span for John Stevens Jr and Luke Schoonmaker who will focus more on blocking plus Princeton Fant from the practice squad is expected to be elevated to help out in the next game Ferguson had a breakout season last year with over 760 yards and five touchdowns and replacing him won't be easy but the depth we have on the roster and the talent of these young tight ends should keep our offense competitive until he returns now Cowboys Nation I want to hear from you what are your expectations for this group of tight ends while Ferguson is out do you think we'll be able to maintain the same level of offensive production drop your opinion in the comments below and let's discuss and don't forget to share this video with your friends subscribe to the channel and hit that notification Bell to stay updated throughout this exciting season see you next time Cowboys Nation
