hey Cowboys Nation welcome to Dallas Cowboys today the channel that keeps you up to date with the hottest news and sharpest analysis about our beloved America's team today we've got a topic that's stirring up a lot of buzz and we'll definitely get those of you following the team's preseason thinking but before we dive in make sure to hit that like button subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications so you don't miss a thing about the Cowboys now let's get straight to it we've been closely watching the preseason and so far the situation is in our backfield is pretty much what everyone expected Ezekiel Elliott and Rico da who are expected to be the main duo in the running game have barely seen any action in these games meanwhile Duce vaugh Royce Freeman and others are battling it out to secure a spot on the roster but here's the deal unless the Dallas Cowboys decide to bring in someone from outside the current roster it doesn't look like this setup will change much at least that's what we thought until now but things might be taking a different turn in a recent interview before the game against the Las Vegas Raiders Jerry Jones hinted that the roster might not be fully set just yet during his chat on 15.3 the fan he said tonight won't be the final pieces to the puzzle reading between the lines this could very well mean that the backfield is an area that might still need a boost before the season kicks off and here's where things get interesting Alex Valentine from Bleacher Reports suggested that Carolina Panthers running back my sanders could be an intriguing Target for the Dallas Cowboys according to him this addition could even impact the NFC East race Valentine argues that despite Sanders tough season he still has a lot of gas left in the tank he's 2 years younger than some other veterans and considering that his struggles were largely due to the Panthers offensive line maybe a fresh start in Dallas is just what he needs to get back to his best and the best part Sanders could be a budget friendly option whether via trade or as a free agent if the Panthers decide to cut him when trimming down their roster if we think about it last week the Cowboys already strengthened their defensive line by bringing in Jordan Phillips and Carl Lawson so if they really want to make one more bold move adding Sanders could be the missing piece to perfecting the Back Field it might be a risky bet but if it pays off it could be that last minute solution that sets the team on the path to the success promised at the start of the off season now I want to hear from you do you think it's worth going after miles Sanders for the roster drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you would do if you were in Jerry Jones Shoes and of course share this video with other Cowboys fans and subscribe to the channel to keep following every Twist and Turn as we get closer to the season kickoff see you next time
