Which Killer Does Every Survivor Fear the Most? (Dead by Daylight)

Intro Hey everyone. I’m scared. But enough about me.  Think of the Survivors of the Entity’s Realm.   Eternally hunted in the trials by twisted Killers.  Today I want to consider which of these Killers   each Survivor fears the most, and why. This  time round with all of the Survivors, including   even the cosmetic ones. Let’s get into it. Dwight would likely fear Pinhead the most. The   Dwight character he is responsible for summoning into the  Realm after finding the Lament Configuration in   the basement. This is more than likely an event  which haunts him, and he feels very responsible   for. He brought the Cenobites into the Realm,  or at least he believes that more than likely.   He’ll forever be scared of touching just about  anything in the Realm from this point on.   Meg Meg more than likely would fear Legion the most,  as I think it’d be an insight into the path,   she could have gone in had she not been  committed to her running and had the support   of her coach and mum. In the lore she does  a little crime and seems to get a thrill out   of it. Things not all too dissimilar from  what Legion were doing. Therefore, seeing   this group in the Realm, around her age, and with  a running-based power, I think she would relate   and fear more deeply this dark reflection. Claudette could fear a number of characters,   Claudette but I think one that you all pointed out,  was Plague. A character that inflicts other   Survivors with a deadly plague, which cannot  be healed through conventional methods. This   would likely scare Claudette, as she’s very  altruistic, and one of her main tools and   skills is botany and healing, and so something  she can’t heal, is probably her greatest fear.   Jake Jake I could see fearing Huntress. Jake lived  out in the woods and could’ve heard the folk   tales of Huntress and even the Were-Elk or Baba  Yaga possibly too. These monsters lurking in   the woods. Sure, he was in a different wood, but  these types of stories may have played on his mind   whilst out there alone. So now in the Realm, with  them manifested and real, I think he would fear   them the most. Folk tales become reality. Nea more than likely just fears The Nurse,   Nea her chapter counterpart. Nea was taken after she  was dared to spray the Crotus Prenn Asylum. Nea   likely saw the aftermath of the massacre  within, albeit decades on, but the place   was probably haunted and did have the Entity’s  presence prior, meaning she probably saw some   crazy stuff before she got taken. This story  of The Nurse and her massacre would haunt her,   and much like with Jake, this story become  reality, would be pretty terrifying.   Laurie Laurie is tough to make a choice for because  she’s already being eternally stalked by Myers,   the embodiment of evil. I don’t think she fears  him as much as she may fear others though,   as she’s already bested him. Therefore,  I could see her fearing basically anyone   who’s a step up from Myers, such as Dredge,  Unknown, Vecna, or Dracula maybe. Any of the   final boss type Killer characters who pose an  even greater threat and are also super evil.   Ace Ace I’m going to go with Hag his chapter  counterpart. Ace is a character who always relied   on luck, and seems to perceive himself as lucky,  even though that’s quite questionable. Therefore,   I think Hag, who is able to control his  luck with use of the Hexes is going to   be his greatest fear. His perceived strength,  being weakened. The other character I thought   was Sadako. A character he cannot outrun  like he has with every other problem.   Unlike his debts, he cannot outrun the curse. Bill I could see fearing some kind of unstoppable   Bill force that also has lots of combat knowledge,  like him. So, maybe Knight? Knight is hulking,   armoured, and even has the back-up of his  Guards. He’s also likely undead and ghostly,   meaning Bill can’t just punch or shoot him.  A foe that is stronger and more resistant   than him, yet equally matches his combat skill. Min you all made a good argument for,   Min that she would fear the characters who don’t play  by the rules as much as others. She’s a character   who learns the game, the rules, the best ways  to win, the meta strategy. So, the characters   who sort of counter this would be her greatest  fear. Those who in the trials can simply beat   her in unfair ways. Myers with a Tombstone,  or Pyramid Head with his cages, for example.   David David wouldn’t fear any of the physically tougher  characters as we know from his lore that he’s not   really scared of people who are bigger or stronger  than him, nor is he afraid of being broken and   weakened. A character he couldn’t beat though  could be Sadako. A character able to de-manifest,   and a character therefore he literally couldn’t  injure physically. She can injure him back   though with just her mind. Made scarier by the  fact that she’s not even physically imposing,   yet she’s far stronger than he is. Beating him  purely with her mind, and telekinetic power.   Quentin Quentin, I think simply fears Freddy.  Freddy tormented his life and stalked   him and his dreams. The fact that in the  Realm Quentin is still sleepy and over-tired,   and restless tells me that even in the Realm he’s  still the most scared of Freddy and his potential.   The reasoning could also be because he returned  after death, and potentially did kill Nancy.   Tapp Tapp would likely fear someone who  reminds him of Jigsaw. This could be Pig,   but I think someone like Ghost Face would fit  better. Someone who is debatably more meticulous   and trickier to catch. No amount of research and  study would lead to the capture of Ghost Face.   It would probably infuriate Tapp, and seeing  someone like that in the Realm would remind   him of his failures and scare him the most. Kate, I think is simply her counterpart, Clown.   Kate Where Kate is known for bringing light, joy, and  happiness through her performances and music,   Clown is the opposite. A twisted, indulgent,  and sadistic Killer who uses his performance as   a Clown to deceive and kill. It’s everything she  would hate and stand against, and seeing art being   used in this way would likely break her to some  degree. Fearful of someone who could do this.   Adam I could see fearing Trickster the  most and partly because he put his students   Adam in the way of danger when he attended  Trickster’s concert. Trickster unlike Adam   is deceptive and lacking in morals. He uses  his power not to spread knowledge or wisdom,   but instead to exploit and take advantage.  Adam would fear people like this, I think.   People his students may look up to as well. Jeff would likely fear Artist. Similar to   Jeff others this is a case where she’s sort of a dark  reflection of him. A path he could have gone on,   had he not turned his life around. Maybe  he too could have ended up a Killer of   the Realm. Jeff too is an Artist and found  new passion and a life with it, much like   Carmina had at one point too before the Entity  intervened. I think Jeff would find this scary.   Jane Jane I’m going to stick with my pick from last  time which is Skull Merchant. Jane owns a lot   of businesses, and so she could be a possible  target for Merchant in the real world and may   have even heard stories from others about how CEOs  would die horribly and have their companies sold   on. I could see her therefore being fearful  of Merchant, as she sort of fits the criteria   for one of her targets in the Realm. Ash, I think would fear Vecna the most.   Ash Vecna after all may remind him of the demons,  deadites, and apocalypse of his world. Vecna   being a powerful being as is, but equally holding  a book which may remind him of the Necronomicon,   and also a dagger which looks quite similar  to the Kandarian dagger. I think everything   about Vecna would embody this failure on his  part and remind him of what he left behind.   Nancy, Steve, Jonathan Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan I’m going to  group up. You all mentioned that in their   universe and during their time specifically they’d  know of popular film characters like Myers, Bubba,   and Freddy and would likely fear them now becoming  real. They would also likely just fear Demogorgon   too. Demo represents the Upside Down and its  horrors. Even if Demogorgon itself isn’t so   scary to them, what it represents and  what it has the potential to bring,   does likely scare them a lot still. Yui has a terrible experience in the lore   Yui with a stalker. I think she would likely fear this  a lot, and it possibly happening again. Therefore,   a meticulous and strategic stalker and killer  like Ghost Face would probably be her biggest   fear. Especially if she knew what he’d done in  Roseville, and how careful and sneaky he was.   Zarina Zarina I weirdly thought Chucky could work well  for her. It’s a character she would fear due to   his inability to be exposed or documented. One  big theme of the Chucky films is that no-one   really believes that a living doll is murdering  people. Zarina is someone who always desires to   expose the wrongdoings of criminals, and so with  Chucky she couldn’t do this really, and he’d   mock her as it happens, making it all the worse. Cheryl likely would fear Pyramid Head the most   Cheryl with him being manifested from Silent Hill,  somewhere where she has lots of bad memories   from. Some lore does also seem to reference  this fact, and Pyramid Head’s existence in   the Realm being partly down to her and  the nightmares she was haunted with.   Felix I could see fearing someone like Oni,  another father of the Realm. Except a very   Felix bad one. One which is violent and cruel and is  basically the complete opposite of Felix’s own   father and one he likely aspires to be.  His own abandoning of his child though,   and seeing Oni this way may get to him, and  make him particularly fearful of Kazan.   Élodie Élodie I could see fearing anyone that reminds  her of the Black Vale or the Entity. Possibly   Twins who are mentioned in her lore, although  maybe this would be more of a soft spot knowing   what happened to them. Maybe Plague who is highly  devoted to the Entity. Both could make her fearful   and may even be the origin of the Black Vale  too. Another character you all mentioned last   time too was Trapper as he shows off what can  happen when trying to rebel against the Entity.   His defiance, punished. Yun-Jin could maybe fear Pig,   Yun-Jin with her being one of the more guilty Survivors  which may put her in the targets of Amanda. A   candidate for her games, as someone who somewhat  judged whether to expose Trickster or not, Amanda   may want to test her. The other character would  be Pyramid Head, who she may fear knowing that   he targets those who are guilty of something. Jill, I don’t think fears Nemesis but instead   Jill just finds him a bit annoying with him repeatedly  returning. I could see her fearing Wesker though,   especially with how he later takes, and mind  controls her. She could possibly fear another   smarter version of the B.O.W type characters and  fear Singularity and his similar-ish plans of   domination of humanity. Him or Wesker, I think. Leon may fear someone like Unknown with it taking   Leon a similar form to the Regenerator enemies. I  can’t speak for Leon, but I know encountering   these for the first time in the games was  always the scariest part, and therefore I   think he may fear them, and see Unknown in a  similar way. He could alternately just fear   Nemesis and the zombies. He has a lot of trauma  from Raccoon City and it’s highly possible that   Nemesis reignites this. He was brave then, but  if he’s fearful of anything, it may be this.   Mikaela, I think would fear Trapper the most  after she initially encountered him seemingly in   Mikaela her dreams of the Realm. This nightmare started  with him and the basement, and so I think her   fears or the core of them would lie there. Other  characters she’s written about too such as Wraith   could feel scary to see come to life, within the  environments she wrote of. The other option is Hag   too, the counter to her Boons with her Hexes. Jonah is aware of Doctor prior to the Realm and   Jonah the horrors of what he had done. With him being a  part of the CIA before too, I think the idea that   he was aware too of Doctor would hang with him all  of the time. He would fear Doctor and his deeds   but also see potentially some of the damage he has  done too whenever he looked to Doctor. His fear   would be from Doctor himself but also reflecting  the damage he too has done back at him.   Yoichi Yoichi would undeniably fear Sadako and  has done rightfully so all his life,   with her hunting him and attempting to kill  him, it’s pretty valid that he’s terrified by   her and her constant presence. I could also see  him fearing Spirit simply for her reminding him   of Sadako, but in a different form. Rin after all  has become the Entity’s own version of an Onryō.   Haddie Haddie has faced down all types of threats and  is aware of creatures like Dredge. I think maybe   the one thing she wouldn’t have encountered  or known about, was Unknown. A mysterious   creature that she wouldn’t be able to identify and  definitely hasn’t fought or encountered despite   being very aware of the supernatural world. Ada sort of approaches most situations with a   Ada pretty chilled out attitude, so I’m  not too sure what she would fear. I   think possibly just Wesker to be honest.  He betrays her, and is very powerful,   manipulative, and unpredictable. She knows what he  is capable of, and so would fear him the most.   Rebecca similar to Claudette’s fears of facing  characters she can’t heal against; she may fear   Rebecca Plague the most too. Possibly Wesker too with his  creepy obsession over her also. She could fear the   insta-down characters too who leave little space  for hope or healing, such as Billy or Bubba.   Vittorio Vittorio I could see fearing something he  cannot understand or comprehend. Therefore,   I’m going with Xenomorph. A creature from  an entirely different planet that he likely   wouldn’t be able to identify or understand at  all. Then again, he has been exploring the Realm   for a while so maybe he has seen some crazier  things before. I think he could also just fear   Knight a lot too, and maybe specifically  the undead variation of him with the same   markings he has on his body, used against him. Thalita and Renato, I do think would fear Skull   Thalita, Renato Merchant a lot. Someone who chased them into the  Realm and caused this whole nightmare for them   to begin with. Maybe a slightly scarier version  of Merchant, like Deathslinger, who also tracks   and uses twisted tools could be their greater  fear though. I do think they would fear someone   more grounded, like Merchant or Slinger. Gabriel would both hate and fear Singularity,   Gabriel I think. Hux was responsible for wiping  out the Dvarka crew and would have likely   killed Gabriel too had they not both been  taken by the Entity. Hux hates Gabriel,   which is only going to make Gabriel more fearful  knowing he is probably Hux’s biggest target, and   also knowing the fate of those who fall to him. Nicolas Cage as his fictional self-likely fears   Nicolas Cage Blight the most. The role he was set to play  in the film Descend Beyond. This character   he was going to play, coming to life and  hunting him, must be utterly terrifying.   Ripley Ripley may simply fear the Xenomorph or possibly  Xenomorph Queen with it leading them. It’s   debatable though, as she may be the opposite and  not really fear them after facing them down. If   not the Xenomorphs with her history with them,  then maybe someone like Singularity, who has   plans to defeat humanity and is far smarter. Alan Wake I might say Freddy, and not just for   Alan Wake the meme of him being Wake and Freddy being  sleep, but more because it could remind him   of his own world, and how he was trapped in  the Dark Place. In Freddy’s Dream World he   has even less control and is left at the  will of Freddy. A character you cannot   escape and a reminder of his own nightmare. Sable is tough because she puts up the façade   Sable of not really fearing much and actually  liking a lot of horrific things. However,   I would lean toward characters that she  did interact with or characters that are   so horrific she couldn’t really resist being  scared, such as Unknown or Dredge. Seeing these   things for anyone are going to be terrifying.  Regardless of if you liked bugs as a kid.   Aestri, Baermar Aestri and Baermar would more than likely fear  Vecna the most. Their journey to defeat him was   one that was as Vecna puts it, quite misguided.  Once they actually reach him and just the two of   them remain, it’s basically a failed mission  at that point. Both Bards are brave however   in the face of most dangers, but Vecna is  definitely too big a threat for them even   if they originally perceived him not to be. Lara Croft faces down a lot so wouldn’t seem to   Lara Croft initially fear anyone in particular. I did read  that apparently, she’s fearful of her Aunt’s dog.   So, maybe Dracula in his wolf form would scare  her? Or Demogorgon? Maybe she could fear something   more otherworldly like the Cenobites and their  invasion of the Realm, as I think she’s faced   just about every other kind of threat. Carlos may simply fear Nemesis the most,   Carlos especially as it was set on killing and hunting  Jill. Carlos seems to have a bit of a thing for   her, and so would fear I think the thing hunting  her, with the potential to kill her. Also,   I mean he shot the thing with a big  ol’ rocket launcher and it survived,   so I’m sure that was pretty scary too. Claire may fear Nemesis with him being a   Claire scarier version of Mr. X, which she likely has a  lot of trauma from, or potentially even William   Birkin for similar reasons. Both Leon and Claire  seem to be pretty traumatised for life after   their encounter in Raccoon City, and so maybe  one of these. Seeing them again in the Realm,   and an upgraded version of Mr. X  could bring these feelings back.   Cybil Cybil I could see fearing Pyramid Head with him  originating from Silent Hill. The horrors of   Silent Hill are likely going to haunt most of the  Silent Hill characters still far more than most of   the Killers will, who are a lot more grounded. Lisa may fear Nurse the most instead though,   Lisa especially as she closely resembles  the Nurses of Silent Hill,   and possibly what she could have become. James would likely fear Pyramid Head the most,   James especially as even after the events that went down  in Silent Hill, Pyramid Head is now back again,   suggesting that there is more to be done for  James, which he probably isn’t too fond of.   Maria Maria is a pretty tough one, being a creation of  Silent Hill. I guess the only thing I could see   scaring someone created from there would be maybe  Dredge, Unknown, not too sure to be honest.   Rose as a super fan of Alan would  fear whatever he fears the most.   Saga Saga I could see fearing Unknown the  most with it not having a distinct origin   or motive even. With her being a great  agent, and very capable at investigating,   I think the idea of not being able to really know  who or what Unknown is would scare her the most.   Sheva Sheva I could see fearing Wesker. She saw the  potential of Wesker out of the Realm and all   the chaos he caused, and I think in the Realm  he is no less and debatably more of a threat,   especially if she sees him with the Blighted  serum. Wesker is a character she has faced down,   but she would undeniably still be fearful  of and see as her greatest threat.   Chris may fear Wesker most too, but it’s  debatable as Chris has bested Wesker a few   Chris times before. I could maybe see him fearing a  greater threat such as Dracula or Vecna who are   similar enough to Wesker and his goals  but are substantially more powerful.   Alucard, I think probably just fears his  father, Dracula. He knows how powerful   Alucard and capable of destruction he is, and so  would fear him the most of all. Trevor in   Trevor a similar way would likely be Dracula  with him being a formidable force in   their universe and one of the strongest in the  Realm, it makes sense they would both fear him   and honestly see lots of other  Killers as not that big a deal.   Tubarão Tubarão coming from the world of Rainbow Six Siege  I could see having a fear for the unstoppable   agent that is HUNK. HUNK would also be tactical  and know many of the same techniques as him,   but he also has the reputation of never dying or  failing, which would likely cause a lot of fear.
