this so what have you been up to lately i've been actually really busy with uh training i'm getting ready for the tokyo 2021 pan olympic games now because of corona the paralympic games have been postponed for another year so unfortunately they couldn't happen this year but they're definitely going to happen next year so i've been very busy training we do about nine pool sessions and two other gym sessions so it keeps me pretty busy uh and now what i'm really looking forward to is next year for the uh the trials for the swimming trials which will be in adelaide so hopefully you guys will be able to watch it uh on channel 7 next year we heard your nickname was nails so where did that come from it's funny you asked that it had nothing to do with swimming i used to play aussie rules football when i was a bit younger and i loved afl matches so i thought i can i want to join a local footy team and hopefully do really well in and my personality and my nature was to go in as hard as i could and because i went in so hard all my mates uh kind of felt it and therefore oh you're gonna be your nickname is now gonna be called nails so my coach started it and then it went on to uh some of the uh team mates so they all loved calling me nails and then because i took up swimming it got changed from nails to liquid nails so a few people can call me that but uh others call me carl all sorts of stuff but not many people can change the word ahmed because there's not much you can do with the name ahmed what is your proudest sporting achievement i think one of the proudest sporting achievement would have to be getting silva at the 2019 para world championships in london so it's the first time i was actually able to get an international medal although i didn't swim the best race i was still very happy that i did get a medal it's something i've been working so hard but i'm also making i'd say throw in there making both paralympic games that london 2012 which was my very first one first olympic games always special but then to be able to go back to rio 2016 paralympic games and making that team again so anytime you make an australian team and get to wear that gold cap is a pretty me a pretty proud moment i should say oh yeah it must be but hey ahmed what are you doing right now i'm doing a squiggle for draw this oh can i have a look yeah sure can oh that looks awesome and then this is the reaction that you'll get and now it's time for narrate this this story comes from polly who's eight years of age and she's from yarraville victoria once upon a time there was a little dog named biggles he loved duking holes eating porridge for my bowl and dragging his tummy along the grass biggles thought he was much bigger dog than he actually was he barked at big dogs he chased the postie and he loved to go on adventures one day he dug a hole under the fence and wriggled underneath to visit the next door neighbor he jumped up and pulled the neighbor's dress off the washing line he got off right and wriggled back under the fence taking the dress with him when i came home from school he was waiting for me but i didn't recognize him i thought he was a friend of my mum and very short friend so i invited him in for a cup of tea i only realized it was biggles when he tried to eat my porridge i returned the clothes to the neighbors who said the dress looks much nicer on my dog than her the end it's time for the best part of the show really what it's time to see this get this challenge you guys sent in so many amazing videos this week for the ending of so messy cook let's see who the winner is [Music] hi and welcome back i'm so messy cook and today we're going to be making a very special traditional african dish called okra soup alrighty let's get started now first you got to make sure that your pot is on just just a bit hot there um now we've decided to do it a bit differently today we've already got the water boiling nice and hot just be careful do not burn yourself um now let's start off with some olive oil yup just put some in the in the pot you know what on the table's fine too might make a difference um now we're just gonna put in some onion just you know just chop it in there or on the table that works add in some dill that doesn't doesn't even matter at this point just flavor all i can see is flavor put in some garlic you know peel gives it that extra oof you know oh onion peel even better even better now we're going to be putting in our meat yeah just get a bit of that chuck it in yep that that works looks great look at that now we're just going to put in some tomato paste squeeze some of it into the wool yes get into it beautiful there we go love that we're going to put in some salt and pepper just put them in look at that and now for the most important part of the dish we have added all our vegetables in now we must add our sprinkles and our maple syrup [Music] if you guys want to see the real ending to
