vivo T3 Ultra Review - vivo Made a Performance Phone?! Ft. Camera Test vs Realme GT 6T

Intro you know what 2024 has been a pretty standard year as far as smartphones are concerned Apple launched its very new iPhone recently Samsung launched yet another Galaxy S Ultra with an Spen inside Google made yet another pixel but a good one this time and Vivo made this the Vivo T3 Ultra a performance oriented phone under rupes 35,000 but wait a minute that's not a very standard Vivo phone or a standard VI Behavior What's Happening Here well watch my T3 Ultra detailed review to know all about the phone hi I'm asard you're watching track and Tech English your destination for detailed inessive C reviews so what makes the vi T3 Ultra a Performance performance phone the specs of course so internally what you get is the mediatech demen Ste 9200 plus which is actually a flagship s so that apart you also do get support for lpddr 5x Ram type and ufs 3.1 storage ufs 4.0 would have been better which is why phones like the realm gt60 the OnePlus Note 4 and the Poco F6 score better in storage Benchmark compared to the vi T3 Ultra having said that in Anu and in geekbench Vivo does score higher than the PO F6 the OnePlus not 4 and the realm gt60 in fact the immortalis g715 GPU used by the d9200 plus is a proper Flagship grid GPU and you get support for R tracing as well only the Poco F6 with Snapdragon 8s gen 3 has support for R Racing the 7 plus gen 3 toting OnePlus not 4 and the realm gt60 do not and when we also ran the solar Bay rate racing test the D3 Ultra did score higher than uh the PO F6 in our CPU throttle test where we engaged 40 threats for 30 minutes we got a CPU stability score of 74% which is generally on par with what the not 4 and the realm gt60 also achieved but the Poco F6 does have better CPU stability talking about Gaming on bgmi You can actually play the game at 60 FPS 90 FPS mode hasn't been unlocked yet which is surprising considering it should be possible on this chipset which is also evident from the fact that Call of Duty runs at 120 FPS on this phone we also run our gensin impact test where we play the game at highest Graphics at 60 frames per second and we got an average FPS of 57.4 and this score is pretty much some of the best we've tested on phones in this price class now the one Battery question that I'm sure that most of you must be wondering is does the dity 9200 Plus offer good battery life on the 5,500 MH battery that's inside the phone well it actually does we actually got a screen on time of over 8 hours and 30 minutes which is definitely better than the realm GT 60's battery life because realm GT6 St battery life is not that great compared to something like the OnePlus KN 4 which actually does really well now the KN 4 is the gold standard of battery life and I'm you know very happy to say that the T3 Ultra also comes very very close you also get support for vivo's 80 W flash charge technology which means that you can charge the phone from 0 to 100 in about 50 minutes odd the other thing that I noticed while testing the phone is that the network performance is actually very good on both airtl and Geo I think VI is using some sort of AI mechanism inside the phone to improve the network quality I don't know if that's at work but it's generally just is very good now if you're wondering you do get support for 8 5G bands Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 as well but there is a huge Miss on the phone and that's the fact that you do not get support for NFC NFC is very important in 2024 in India when you're making tapped payments that's not possible on the T3 Ultra now performance Camera oriented phones are generally notorious for not offering great camera quality well let's test that out on the Vivo T3 Ultra in comparison against the realmi gt60 which actually was a good camera phone when we tested it out but but before we talk about the pictures itself do one thing go ahead hit that subscribe button give us your support we're trying to hit a million soon now the primary camera on both captures the same amount of details but vivo's images are a tad bit oversharpened now while Vivo does have the natural mode and the Vivid mode when you're shooting pictures realme's color accuracy is spot on here VI's natural mode does come close but the images look a tad bit more contrasty although when you look at the color science consistency between the primary and the ultra wide Vivo does it better than realme Vivo HDR performance is definitely better the phone offers better control over the highlights and picks out more details from the Shadows instead of crushing them but when it comes to skin tone accuracy I was surprised that the realm gt60 offers close to Accurate skin tones compared to Vivo which I expected would be better in fact even the blacks in the image especially arna's shirt here has been rendered slightly bluish portraits on both look very good you've got great Edge detection great boka drop off but Vivo skin tone here is closer to arnav's in real life I think the algorithm does a better job with with the portrait mode than in regular mode when you're shooting people except still for the color of the shirt which VI tends to get wrong once again now when you're shooting your friends and family against the light you will see some sort of Bloom outlining the human subject but it is more prominent on the T3 Ultra here if you look at it in low light the T3 Ultra pulls in more light but the Shadows do have noise which is not necessarily A Bad Thing overall the D3 Ultra is more proficient in low light thanks to the superior IMX 921 so for the ultra VI and realme have two completely different approaches VI compensates for the sensors lack of details by oversharpening a lot realm keeps it natural but parts of the image are still very soft it is also true for the low light Ultra wide shots so it style do you prefer do you prefer vivo's oversharpening or realme's more natural softer look selfies on both look good but VI does offer closer to neutral skin tone which is also true for selfie portraits low light selfies are also good on VI compared to realme both the phones can shoot 4K 60 FPS videos and they both look very good but when shooting with the front camera the T3 Ultra offers 4K 60 FPS and it looks looks so much better as a result so overall if you look at it the T3 Ultras cameras are pretty good and of course they match up with the realm gt60 and sometimes beat it too but if you want a camera focused phone then you would be better off picking up something like the Vivo v40 instead by the way I must definitely mention that the D3 Ultra has a bunch of extra you know shooting modes as well for example one of the things that it adds extra is this Aura light so basically you can get better shots of people in low light situations you also get a festival mode which means that if you're shooting like you know a festive occasion like we've shot here then pictures have a certain kind of look to them and of course within the album app you also do get the AI eraser and AI photo enhanced features so yeah so they work well now software of the vi T3 Software Ultra is obviously Fouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and we was promising 2 plus 3 years of software updates as well now fun is something that I've spoken at length about it's of course got tons of features that are definitely useful for end users for example you get stuff like clone apps you also have the option to call record without intimating the person on the other end I know a lot of people want that that's available on VI phones but funou OS is still not one of the most refined operating systems out there obviously UI design is one thing but the other thing is the fact that you do get a lot of third party apps that are pre-installed even on the T3 Ultra now while you can of course uninstall all of these apps hot apps and hot games are also switched on by default again which you have to switch off which a lot of people don't know about that's not it there are personalized recommendations and there are also lock screen wallpaper Integrations now if you want to clean operating system experience then you will have to uninstall all of these apps and switch off all of these features so that you can get a clean experience but yes f is pretty featur again I'll have to mention that all right finally I have Design Twisted things around so we're going to be talking about the design and the display last now design wise you must be like hey I've seen this phone somewhere before that's because you probably already have and it's the Vivo v40 rematched but the thing about the design itself is the fact that the frosted glass look that this phone has is very premium it doesn't look that way but when you hold it it's got got a satin finish and it feels very nice in the hand so this is the Frosted green color which I really like and there's a lunar uh I think lunar gray color which is also very good looking and the best part is that this is only about like 7.6 odd mm thick and it's got a 5,500 MH battery despite that thinness that's not it it is also under 200 g so it's also very comfortable to hold and use despite being a big phone mind you sorry the best part is not just that the best part is the fact that you get ip68 rating on the phone which is pretty cool and the back is made of glass but we don't know what glass protection it's using but the front actually uses short sensation but there are a couple of things that you must note is the fact that the type- C port at the bottom is a USB 2.0 type-c port and because of the fact that the phone is Slim the vibration motor is not that great so you do not get good haptic feedback it's a bit rattly and thin it's not that good all right now let's talk Display about the display on the front now this is a massive display it's an AMOLED panel it's 120 HZ it's curved as well plus you get 1.5k resolution too so overall display quality wise it's actually very very good in fact it does get very bright too so you get about 1,200 nits of brightness when you you know push the manual brightness slider and when you actually watch HDR content the local Peak brightness at about like a 10% 1% window would be 4,500 nits of peak brightness talking about HDR video playback you get HDR video support on YouTube but not on Netflix at least that's not available at the time at which we checked the phone regardless this is a very very good panel if you ask me especially in the professional color mode I think that the color accuracy is also pretty close to neutral and to round of the whole multimedia experience you do of course get support for all the Bluetooth highest codex that you can think of which is basically ldac lhdc all of that and you also get a stereo speaker setup and these stereo speakers do sound good enough uh to my ears take a listen to it right next to the realm gt60 and let me know which one you guys prefer in the comments Conclusion so after using the T3 Ultra the constant thought that was running through my mind was Vivo is trying to outdo its sister company IU here and it fairly succeeds if you ask me this is a great phone through and through and it's not just a great performance oriented phone and that's what weo does right I mean even if it wants to make a phone that's focused on one thing and one thing alone it ends up making a very well balanced phone which is good for all of us I am going to be recommending this phone a lot to a lot lot of folks who want to phone a good phone under 35,000 rupes because the performance is good the camera is good the battery life is fantastic the design of course is good looking and yeah I mean worth buying man what do you guys think do you like the Vivo T3 Ultra or not let me know in the comment section below and I'll see you guys in the next one until then keep tracking and stay safe [Music] a
