after years of anticipation the most expensive production of its kind has finally arrived set thousands of years before the events you know Amazons The Rings of power dives deep into the ancient history of Middle Earth with a staggering budget of over $465 million this series is destined to capture imaginations across the globe but what exactly makes this story so captivated I stay until the end to discover the hidden secrets of the Second Age the tale unfolds during the Second Age of Middle Earth long before the reign of man in hobbits this was an era when the first Dark Lord Morgoth rose to power he waged war on the blessed lands beyond the seas destroying the sacred trees that gave light to the world and plunging everything into darkness but Morgatha's treachery did not end there he murdered Finwi king of the Nolder elves and stole the legendary cymrulls jewels of unimaginable power in retaliation Finwi s son fenore LED a host of elves across the ocean to the desolate lands of baliriand seeking vengeance what followed was a brutal war that lasted for centuries a war that scarred the very face of the world in the end Morgoth was defeated by the armies of the valley and cast out of the world but the price of victory was steep the once vibrant lands of balirian were reduced to ruins and although Morgoth was gone his influence Lingard Sauron Morgatha's greatest lieutenant survived and began to plot his rise to power Galadriel driven by the loss of her brother to Sauron's forces vowed to hunt him down defying the orders of the High King she LED a relentless search for Sauron across the lands of middle earth yet as the years passed most elves believed that Sauron was no longer a threat and many abandoned the quest despite their doubts Galadriel Preston determined to see her mission through in time Galadriel sought an audience with the High King hoping to gather an army to resume her pursuit of Sauron her close friend Elrond warned her that the High King would not punish her for her Defiance but continuing her quest could provoke consequences she wasn't ready to face still Galadriel refused to let go of her thirst for vengeance she knew in her heart that Sauron remained a danger lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to strike as the High King honored the elven warriors with passage to the Undying Lands Galadreel stood at the threshold of paradise yet even in the presence of eternal peace she could not forget her brother's death in a moment of decision she turned away from Valinor and plunged back into the seas leaving behind the promise of peace for the uncertainty of battle at the same time far to the south the remnants of humanity still bore the scars of their ancient ties to Morgatha's forces alone Elf Arander patrolled their villages ever watchful of the lingering darkness that threatened to rise again during one of his routine visits discovered a shadow of the old evil tainting the lands a corruption that could not be ignored together with a human healer Bronwyn he set out to uncover the source of this new threat in a forgotten village they found evidence of something much darker Sauron's Mark had returned while Galladreel's journey took her farther into the unknown the High King himself felt the ripples of evil resurfacing an ominous meteor streaked across the skies above the elven kingdom and the falling leaves carried with them a whisper of the darkness that had once nearly consumed the world could it be that the shadow of Sauron was rising once more the fate of middle earth hangs in the balance as these ancient forces stir the question remains who will stand against the coming storm and will it be enough to stop the return of evil the Second Age holds its breath waiting for the heroes to rise once again
