Galadriel is... React & Review of The Rings of Power - Season 2, Episode 1

we are here with the rings of power season two now you guys didn't get to hear my opinions on season 1 so I am going to share them real quick I hated my time with season 1 and for one very particular reason I mean outside of the ones that I spoke about in my episode breakdowns I guess namely the fact that season 1 didn't end in any kind of way where I felt like it had anywhere to go like we get the Sauron reveal and galad it has no consequences on the story Galadriel decides that she's smarter than Sauron so she's just going to let his plan be completed only you know two divide but three doesn't because three not being divisible doesn't make any [ __ ] sense maybe gadriel hasn't watch Game of Thrones I don't know we we'll just chalk it up to that and then you have the gandal side of things with a har foots where they're just going to go someplace for no reason that we know anything about I guess so that he can train to become a wizard but he's already a wizard I don't [ __ ] know I mean no character has direction we have nowhere to go we have nothing to anticipate so season 2 is just going to be like a [ __ ] eraser on a chalkboard basically we're starting over from scr scratch it's a whole new show I guess but yeah I mean we know the characters now at the very least and I get this I guess the southlanders do have something like we have the whole isor thing where you know he's supposed to be dead he got a whole [ __ ] roof crashed in on him but he's going to be alive because well we know what happens with the sealed door so yeah I mean let's just jump into it see what happens and the where The Story Goes I've heard season 2 from like a bunch of reviewers and stuff that had Early Access have said this is worse than season 1 which honestly how the undy lands of Valley kind of hurts to rewatch this honestly like I don't want to see this again wait that's not the same actor is that how brand like is that his new form or whatever I wouldn't think they'd replace the um the actor we saw him at ComicCon so I don't think they have replaced him damn a few last tabs it's like murder at the Orient Express everyone wait I'm [Laughter] spoiling jeez I guess that was how Brand's form but I'm guessing he's going to come back it is confusing when you just start seeing [ __ ] recastings in the first [ __ ] five minutes I mean either that or this is a different character I don't think so yeah it's the same character so Sauron is venom goo why even why even go to Black there what a commercial break or something it' be so funny if the rat became Sauron next Incarnation like imagine the little little mouse red thing wearing the crown the Sauron crown and just lording over Orcs that has to happen that's a fanfix somewhere why do we need this why do we need to know that Sauron is a [ __ ] goo monster so weird oh we're doing prequel is why what is the [ __ ] point why do we need to see this what a [ __ ] waste of time we know exactly where he ends up they better do something [ __ ] interesting with this but knowing rings of power they're not going to okay so he made himself into a human I guess he has to kill someone of a certain race when he's a goo thing in order to become that seems like it kind of weird I don't fully understand why that is a prerequisite so yeah this served literally no purpose you're showing hbr's story to get to the point where he ends up on the raft for no reason at all what a [ __ ] waste of time my time and yours by the way I mean he's very lucky that no one else on the raft survived otherwise they would be able to tell Galadriel that he is not a king the riters actually did themselves a disservice by including this in the episode because well it's a contrivance tides of fade are flowing yours may be heading in out we like that line so much we decided to show it twice [ __ ] off wait did he take the Rings but he was fully complicit in making them so he just flipped on a dime I will believe you and I no longer see the LIE behind your eyes and who wrote this [ __ ] he so oh that acting oh I was de see gadri you were blind now you inform me a most cunning enemy is rising again you knew that last season no [ __ ] way he's dead I guess Fellowship can happen now moror but they're marking him with the mark of saon maybe they mean it to be the mark of Mordor we defeated the elves who came to their aid we even defeated their allies no you did not you didn't do any of those things actually you got captured and then the volcano erupted so the writers don't even know what they themselves wrote oh yeah the most pointless story line in the whole show the origin story we did not need for Gandalf you could have done ragas you could have done [ __ ] soromon even that would have been more interesting you could have done the blue Wizards could have done so many things that give you the the freedom to do whatever the [ __ ] you want but you choose this so pointless man this show really pisses me off like season 1 was just so bad Panic is the Fool's meal Nori we would be wiser to stop on patience e Panic is a Fool's meal we better St on patience cringe use your magic powers further Nori this isn't funny is it the ugly Warg they're so [ __ ] ugly dude at least this one's hidden in Shadow maybe they went from a budget of a billion to 900 Mill million Perfection Perfection exists only in Valor elonda is still the best character by far G she walked all this way alone they were [ __ ] starving and she packed the [ __ ] full bat what a weird cut for [ __ ] sake that is a very convenient [ __ ] timing my precious like this whole thing of him going into mortar is completely pointless I to serve the Lord of M to the end of my days cuz it's me you think you're so clever writers you wouldn't think an episode is [ __ ] like an hour long feels like three he's going to barge in with the Rings perfect timing y Perfection does not exist only in Valor hiking they only squeezed in that line about perfection in the beginning to show the power of the Rings the Riders are so [ __ ] lazy no my pre see kids this is why she could resist the one ring in Fellowship of the Ring because she knew man they're really trying to make rings of power matter it does not look at him he swagged out yeah that's a natural pose not a throwback to fellowship at all really boring honestly just really boring a lot of character motivations don't really make sense like what's the point of having Hal brand go into Mordor to do nothing and then go back to Lyon where he was right before you might as well like the thing is the writers kind of wrote themselves into a bit of a corner there because they wanted the soron reveal to be in the finale for season one and then they realized okay so we don't know what to do with Hal brand we'll just have him walk to Mordor and then in season two they were like yeah we don't know what to do with this character so we're just going to have him walk out of Mordor and it's like [ __ ] sake like and the gandal thing and the Haro foots like poy getting to them they try to explain that away by saying you have haven't gone very far but like they got to a point where she had run she had completely run out of rations and they were starving are you kidding me and Poppy just walked behind them and if they didn't get very far how did they get to a point where they were starving and she didn't catch up with them because they were apparently walking in circles for a while yet poppy for some reason did not catch up with them it's just so rookie and elron was completely on board with all this yeah he did question like you know he said who was how brand and gadriel was like oh wasn't you know he wasn't who he seemed in in the first season's finale and Elon was a little bit worried but then he was like okay let's make the Rings and they created the Rings in in the season finale and now all of the sudden he he he stole all three rings from them somehow and rode off with them and Kell brimo didn't follow it's like what the [ __ ] is going on it doesn't make any [ __ ] sense and like gadriel is a [ __ ] bad guy she she she's completely doomed Middle Earth and no one cares no one gives a [ __ ] it's just like so frustrating and all of these goddamn similes listen writers I I we all know by now that you do not know how to write dialogue just stop okay please stop for crying out loud it is bad it is so bad H yeah it's just more of the same I mean they they went off and off about like how season one was a setup season 2 is where where it's really going to start but it seems like like I said if the foundation's rotten it's not going to have any ground to stand on that's one of those shitty similes that you might find in a show like this uh but it's true like the show has no ground to to stand on it it's just it's just garbage and and they're just continuing it it it doesn't seem like they learned any lessons they might have even written season 2 with season 1 and just completely ignored any of the feedback because you know the the [ __ ] critics were shills saying like there was one article that said that rings of power was better than House of the Dragon it's like are you [ __ ] kidding me they're not even in the they're not even in the same tier like if if rings of power is free to play then then House of the Dragon is competitive like that's the difference between the two so yeah no it's just man it's just garbage
