welcome to Middle Earth a land of elves dwarves and men and a place where 20 magical rings change the fate of the world forever but why were these rings made and what was their purpose let's find out first of all the reason behind there are 20 rings in JRR tolkin Middle Earth is because Sauron had a grand plan to rule the Middle Earth and control and dominate all the races including elves dwarves and Men the three rings for the elves first we have the three rings made for the elves these Rings were created by the elves themselves led by a master smith named cmore they were made to protect and preserve the beauty of the Elven lands at the end of season 1 of the TV Series rings of power the three Elven rings are revealed these Rings kept the Elven Realms safe and beautiful Untouched by time but the elves didn't know that danger was already on the way The Seven Rings for the dwarves next Sauron the Dark Lord created Seven Rings for the dwarves he gave these rings to the leaders of the dwarf Clans hoping to control them but the dwarves were too strong willed to fall under sauron's control instead the Rings made them even more greedy leading to their endless search for wealth this greed brought trouble including the rise of fierce dragons who craved the dwarves treasure the nine rings for men then Sauron made nine rings for men the most easily corrupted of all Races these Rings promised power wealth and even eternal life but these gifts came at a terrible price the men who wore these Rings became the nasgul ghostly Servants of Sauron they lost their freedom and were bound to his will forever the one ring to rule them all finally Sauron forged the One Ring the most powerful of them all this ring was made in secret and saon poured his own power into it his plan to use the one ring to control all the other rings and their bearers with the One Ring Sauron could dominate the minds of those who wore the other Rings making him the ultimate ruler of Middle Earth sauron's master plan so the 20 rings of power were not just magical artifacts they were part of sauron's grand plan to control all of Middle Earth the words on the One Ring which reads one ring to rule them all one ring to find them one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them reveals its true and evil purpose how it all went wrong but things didn't go as Sauron planned the elves quickly realized what Sauron was trying to do they hid their rings from him to prevent them from falling under his control and in the end Sauron Was Defeated and the one ring is cut from his hand by isor leading to sauron's Temporary downfall the one ring was lost for a time but not destroyed in The Hobbit movies Bilbo baggin finds the ring later in The Lord of the Rings movies the story ends with sauron's defeat when the one ring is destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom where it was made this also leads to the elves leaving Middle Earth for the undying lands freeing Middle Earth from sauron's dark influence thanks for watching if you enjoyed this journey through Middle Earth don't forget to like subscribe and ring the bell for more stories from tolkin world
