10 Players That May Break Fantasy Football

I just spent the week with fantasy football creators from all over the world and in between recording videos we were screaming about these players because it's so hard everybody has a different opinion I want to give you mine I want to give you the Bull and Bear case because they can break fantasy football this season starting off with Drake London I mean I find myself arguing with people in the live chat every night because people are looking at London going oh my gosh he's never even been a wide receiver three in fantasy he's had back-to-back wide receiver four finishes and all of a sudden if you want Drake London you're going to have to take him in the second round which seems absolutely ludicrous for a wide receiver that hasn't been able to get it done for two straight Seasons now and I would be on your side trust me I would get it if this was somebody that didn't have the pedigree that didn't flash us an elite level talent but I want to walk through what you have seen with Drake London starting in college then going to the NFL you go back to his days at USC he joins a team that has Michael Pitman Jr as a senior at USC Aman Ros St Brown as a sophomore and Drake London is able to actually break out at 18 years old then going into his next season Aman rosate Brown's a junior Drake London's a sophomore and Drake London is a more productive wide receiver than Aman R st Brown on that same roster you go into his junior year there he accounts for almost 40% of the USC passing offense from a week toe perspective literally insane he gets drafted inside the top 10 picks of the NFL draft and while yes the fantasy points haven't been there through the first two seasons what you have is actually the market share numbers if you look under the hood and you look at the percentage of the offense in Atlanta that Drake London is accounted for he has look like an alpha wide receiver one at an incredibly young age now of course the Atlanta Falcons offense dealt with some of the worst quarterback play in the entire NFL so what you end up seeing is Drake London doing absolutely nothing for fantasy football perspective but if you look at how young he was as well he comps historically at 23 years old to guys like Chris Godwin DK meaf deshun Jackson Stefon Diggs Andre Johnson Christian Kirk Tory Smith and Darius Slayton obviously Slayton not too exciting but a lot of these other wide receivers came out and they put up wide receiver one Seasons at 24 not to mention that London goes from what should be one of the worst passing offenses in the entire NFL to one of the best so I in on London I I think you can go ahead take Drake London there as a high and wide receiver to in fantasy this season even if he's never come anything close to this what was really funny is we did the flock draft League I believe on Wednesday night and S High pick 11 and he said Drake London was the highest player in his rankings now he ended up taking jot of the Taylor getting Drake London at the beginning of the second regardless but it was very interesting to hear him say that and I will also remind you I don't think you have to take Drake London at the one-w turn if you're in your regular redraft League where I'd be targeting London would be a late second rounder and I think you should project out to be a highend wide receiver to this season now when I say we are screaming about an individual player I mean we were screaming about Devon Anan okay there was half the room that absolutely loved him were saying that Devon hen can be the number one overall pick in fantasy football drafts in 2025 there was half the room which I I kind of found myself in saying you know what yes he looks to be a topend NFL running back I mean this is somebody that his name will be around NFL circles for a very long time because of his explosiveness because of the offense that he plays in but in terms of seeing that high-end running back one finish I just don't necessarily think that we can get there at 188 Pounds given what we've seen historically now in a remind y aan was the most efficient running back in the NFL last season he averaged 8.1 yards per carry yes 8 .1 if he maintains this level of efficiency through his entire NFL career Devon Anan will go down as the best running back in NFL history personally I'm not expecting that to happen personally what we typically experience with these rookie running backs going into year two is you have Anan taking a step up with his volume but a step backwards with his efficiency and that leads to League winning seasons from guys like Alvin Kamar in their second year that leads the league winning season from guys like David Johnson now the issue with Anan is going over and looking at the 188 PB frame looking at the injuries it goes to question is this a situation in which he can get to 16 17 18 touches per game I don't think this Miami offense wants to use him in that way I think they drafted jayen Wright they still have Raheem Boer they're going out there and talking up Jeff Wilson Jr for whatever reason I think that this is going to be a running back by committee where hn will see some efficiency drop he will see his volume go up ever so slightly and he will remain about the same finish that he had a year ago so if you're drafting say in your ESPN draft and you got aan in round three I applaud you I think it's a great pick if you drafted him as a lowend rb1 highend rb2 I think he can absolutely Crush for you at that price if you were drafting on Underdog today and you take aan back to back with saquon Barkley in some of my Underdog drafts I see him going ahead of Barkley I just simply can't get there with the running back of this size so in your regular ESPN draft so we can get him round three go for it if you have to take him in round two on Underdog there I'm a little bit more hesitant and yeah of course you can watch me draft my teams on Underdog every single night by Far and Away my favorite place to draft their best boy draft so there's no time commit at all during the year it's how I draft hundreds of teams every year it's how I won 150,000 two years ago and because there's no time commitment during the season it's not meant to replace your main fantasy football league just meant to be some extra fun added on the side and if you use code flock you're going to get my 2024 rankings 2024 draft guide 2024 ADP consensus cheat sheet and with code flock you're also going to get a 50% deposit bonus up to $1,000 you will get a Christian mcaffrey special pick them for week one as well so make sure you take advantage of that with the link in the description and comment section now going over to Malik neighbors this was another player that we argued a lot about this week because looking at neighbors obviously from a dynasty perspective you're an absolute love I mean this is one of the best wide receiver prospects that we've seen over the past five years he goes out at LSU and he has almost 1,600 receiving yards in an offense where another wide receiver went round one in this year's NFL Draft with Brian Thomas Jr the production is insane he's only 21 years old he goes to a team that wand Del Robinson is their second best weapon he should have every single Target in this offense I find myself on the fence of Malle neighbors ranking him as a lowend wide receiver two rather than a highend wide receiver two and the reason for that is only Daniel Jones if you go through and if you look at what Daniel Jones has done with wide receivers through his NFL career with tight ends throughout his NFL career he will make whoever's there in New York completely irrelevant or at least that's what we've seen since 2019 now I completely agree with you Malik neighbors is the best wide receiver that Daniel Jones has ever played with I think Malik neighbors makes this offense probably better than it would be otherwise but we've already shown you the math where Sports books they know what they're talking about very rarely are they wrong and sports books are projecting out the New York Giants to be a bottom five offense in total Point score this year if you go through and if you look at how that impacts wide receiver production a wide receiver one in a bottom five scoring offense over the last 10 seasons has been less likely to be a top 24 wide receiver from a points per game perspective than the wide receiver one in a top five scoring offense was to be a top three wide receiver from the points per game perspective in that season it's ridiculous how much wide receiver production is dictated by the offense that they're playing in I think the Giants are going to be a very bad offense so I'm ranking neighbors as a low and wide receiver too where if the Giants are better than people expect then maybe he can finish as the low and wide receiver one but to draft them as like a high and wide receiver too I don't know if there's too much upside from that cost now going over to Stefan digs of course we dealt with um we dealt with the FSC guys over there that think once any player hits 30 he's complete dust obviously I'm just poking fun the super smart guys but nonetheless looking at Diggs this is a wide receiver that goes over to Houston and at this moment is being drafted neck and neck with tankel I think that we can all pretty much agree if you look at what we had from Nico Collins last year where Nico Collins just absolutely dominated at 24 years old with 3.3 yards per route run Nico Collins is probably the wide receiver one in Houston but beyond that if you are looking at Stefan Diggs this is a wide receiver that in the second half of last season Once the offensive coordinator change occurred in Buffalo the efficiency fell off a cliff he was unstable in fantasy but will hurt you more than just a regular unst startable guy cuz you continuously put him on your lineup just for him to go out there and run a ton of routes and just for him to ultimately do nothing with the targets that he had the bills get rid of him defin red flag I am fine drafting Stefon digs is a low and wide receiver too this year for a couple reasons though one I stand by I believe that Stefon Diggs is playing with one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL I think CJ strout is a legitimate MVP candidate this year he was already at the of the NFL and passing efficiency last season and now he adds another weapon to his Arsenal and is going into year two and with Stefan Diggs I personally think that he is the guy playing in two wide receiver stats rather than tank Dell given what we saw with the preseason usage and what we know about these wide receivers profiles so I am fine drafting Stefon Diggs as a lowend wide receiver too I definitely think that you have to rank him behind niik Collins based off the efficiency numbers that you have from Nik Collins and the preseason usage that you had from Collins but that's why I took Nico Collins in the second round of the flock League now going over to someone I took in the sixth round of the flock League it was a full PBR double Flex format so we went a little wide receiver heavy I took Terry mclen and I've been on the side of oh my gosh Terry mcclaren's consistently overrated in fantasy I have crapped on Terry mclen for God knows how long and I I find myself all of a sudden drafting him there when you can get him as a wide receiver four I I think Terry mclen is a wide four is a phenomenal price point now let me talk about the bear case with mclen he's going to be 29 years old this season and his highest finish ever from the points per game perspective was the wide receiver 20 so the ceiling there isn't necessarily spectacular but on the the flip side of this you do have Jaden Daniels coming in Daniels had a ton of passing volume with Malik neighbors and Brian Thomas jior last season now of course will he have a ton of passing volume this year very hard to figure that out but should be decent quar back play here in Washington and you also have the departure of Johan doson so if you are looking at Terry mclen this may be a it's may be a discount on Malik neighbors I I know it's crazy to say that but this is a wide receiver that is the alpha in his offense should have every single Target going towards him and the ultimate question is what does the passing volume look like because if the passing volume exceeds expectations then Terry mclen may come out here and he may Smash and if you draft him as a wide receiver three maybe he turns out to be high wide receiver two if the passing volume stays in line with what expectations are or if it's even a little bit less than what people are expecting then simply the upside is not there I think Terry mcclaren's a great pick specifically in the format that I took him in round six in which is a league where you can start four more wide receivers and it's a full PPR format if you're playing in like a 10 Team league where you going to start two wide receivers and one Flex there I don't know if McClaren has the upside to get really excited about now Keenan Allen is also somebody that we went back and forth on I kind of found myself on the side of okay yeah Keenan Allen is an older wide receiver Keenan Allen is in a much worse situation this year than he was a year ago and I'm probably fading Allen now full transparency I have ranked Keenan Allen as a lowend wide receiver three this year you'll see my wide receiver ranking updated video coming very very soon and this is with Kenan Allen putting up the best year of his Fant football career this past season but two main factors while yes I think Caleb Williams has the upside in the long term to be a better NFL quarterback than Justin Herbert in the short term I think it's very difficult to project any rookie quarterback to have the same type of passing volume that you've had from Justin Herbert over the past few years regardless of how good of a prospect he is so from a passing volume perspective I think that Kenan Allen is going to a worse situation from Justin Herbert to Caleb Williams and if you look at the competition that Keenan Allen dealt with last season Keenan Allen dealt with Joshua Palmer and Quinton Johnston and Palmer got hurt for part of the year now he's going over to compete with DJ Moore and romad dun obviously I'm sure you've heard the fat jokes I'm sure you've seen the memes of um Kenan Allen now being a deep dish pizza reviewer in Chicago I'm not going to sit here and base all my analysis off that I think maybe it's a little bit of a tie breaker maybe it's the straw that broke the campell's back because he's a 32-year-old wide receiver that's going into a significantly worse situation where I don't necessarily know what the upside can be here as potentially the wide receiver three in an offense led by a rookie quarterback now y'all know I'm not a massive Jackson Smith and jiga fan now I was coming out of college coming out of college I was sitting here going oh my gosh this is somebody that on the same roster as Garrett Wilson and Chris um was sitting there at the top with receiving yards give me all the jsn last year he disappoints clearly the man only averages seven points per game he averages 1.4 yards per route run just horrible horrible marks now the hope that everybody has with Jackson Smith and jiga is the change with the offensive coordinator here makes it where the Seattle Seahawks are a little more inclined to be a pass happy offense and the Seattle Seahawks are in a situation that they are going to run out significantly more 11 Personnel Plus the natural regression of Tyler Lockett where we have seen Lockett just getting worse and worse and worse over the past three seasons but I will take a step backwards and just acknowledge the fact that the vast majority of round one wide receivers that had a rookie season that looked like jsns they are on the path to be NFL bust do I think that jsn is that for sure no no no I I have jsn ranked as a wide receiver four I could see a world where oh okay yes maybe it was the offensive coordinator blocking a behind meaf locket not enough 11 personnel and now with that change js's on the field then all of a sudden he's significantly better I could see that world but I could also see a world where the change in offensive coordinator overblown this narrative that everybody has heard a thousand times may not necessarily matter as much as people are indicating and jsn disappointed last season because maybe it's not the next coming of a wide receiver one in fantasy so I have jsn ranked as a wide receiver four if you can get him in the middle to late rounds I'm completely fine with it if you're going to draft him in round six round seven they're probably not interested now Anthony Richardson was somebody that I thought the domain guys were going to be all over I thought I was going to be hearing all week how good Anthony Richardson is how Anthony Richardson's about to break fantasy football blah blah blah they didn't like Richardson which was very surprising for me to hear given the fact they're Colts fans and with Richardson he had the horrendous preseason performance that has everybody talking you you had the commentator saying oh my gosh if Anthony richon disappoints in the season the Colts are going to have a bad situation trying to figure out if they're going to go with Joe flacko or a I think this is all noise I I'm not overreacting due to a preseason game I stand by the analysis that we've always had with Anthony richson and this is a quarterback that we have an extremely limited sample with that is very difficult to figure out what to expect from and I have no idea if he will be a good or a bad NFL QB but what I do know based off the rushing that we had from him last season he can be a bad NFL quarterback and pull adjustin fields and still be great in fantasy based off him running the football especially at his size especially with the scheme you'd assume that he steps into that Jaylen Herz roll which would lead to a ton of rushing touchdowns so I stand by I don't know if Anthony Rich's going to be a good real life quarterback I'm pretty damn confident in four-point passing touchdown formats however just the rushing floor he gives you he is somebody worth taking as a mid to late qb1 and if he turns out to be a good NFL QB he could finish as a top three quarterback in fantasy but I think that's all I have for you really hope that you enjoyed this video really hope you got something from it I want to remind you if you want to access to all my rankings draft guide ADP cheat sheet if you want a Christian mcaffry special pick them more than less than half a total yard for week one if you want a 50% deposit bonus up to $11,000 you can find all of that over on Underdog fantasy it's my favorite place to draft I'm drafting there every single night until the season starts their best ball to No Time com in at all during the year it's how I draft Hance teams it's how 150,000 two years ago and if you use code flock you're going to get everything that we talked about with that link in the comment section in description that's all I got really do appreciate you and really hope I get a draft against you tonight
