48 hours with the Sonos Ace

hey welcome to Blind power here is the awesome headphones that I want to show you let see is it on the right side this is the Sonos Ace I love these things these are the new wireless uh Bluetooth headphones from Sonos I got mine in White on one ear cup it's a Sonos I like these because uh Sonos is a quality brand one really cool thing about these headphones is one side is uh like a green bluish color and the other side is aqua color and the other side is white so the greenish blue color goes on the right hand side and the sound cancellation on these is really good the fit is awesome I I've actually uh worked out with these I did five miles today working out and it was pretty good um these headphones they're super comfortable I like the fit it'll fit a pretty big head um if you see that stretch it's really soloft um the right hand side you have a volume rocker literally a rocker and in the center position you can push it down for play pause right underneath it you have your s cancellation button and um on the other side on the bottom you have your power and Bluetooth pair button you have your USB C port and uh you have some little vents so this headphones are actually a good competition for the air to ODS Max which I came from the reason why I love these over the airpods max is the weight it might not be much of a weight difference a couple grams lighter but I'll tell you what the fact that this is plastic and it's plastic but it doesn't feel cheap you know how like the qc35s or the zenai zenai I can't pronounce the name zenhiser uh HD something 50s uh I've had I've seen those in uh different stor and I don't like them it feels so creaky and cheap these do Creek but not to that level I love that these headphones they turn all the way out like this and the uh the Caps here when you work out the airpods Maxon absorb the water these don't absorb water these repel water and it does and it doesn't get into the inside of the cup I know you guys are saying oh you're not supposed to work out with the headphones guess what I do my headphones what I want if they break CU they working out well I mean that's my own fault right um but I I do work out with them and I'll tell you what they they last pretty good the airpods max I couldn't work out with them because they absorb water these don't absorb water if you're a medium to light sweater you know you sweat medium to light perfect for you if you're a heavy sweater then you you risk get getting water inside of the headphones but honestly these headphones are really good I love these now let's talk about um no noise cancellation is probably even better than airpods Max they do a better job at blocking out road noise uh people uh where the airpods max did a better job was um deeper like say airplanes it blocks it out better this doesn't do such a good job on that one thing that drives me crazy about these headphones is uh the doors so if you're in a car somebody slams the door shut some noises will Peak these headphones phon okay these headphones will Peak they I'm talking about like you will feel the base they're not very Bassy that's the other thing but I'll get to that in a minute um they don't they you hear like uh cracking noise when the door shuts I don't understand why the airpods max don't do that um what's it yeah the okay sound quality the sound quality is really good um but I I'm not a Bas head first of all and I had to boost all my base all the way up cuz these things they sound really flat I mean airpods Max are flat and but they still have base this to bring the base to the level of the airpods max you have to boost the base and then it's even better than the max they're really good but honestly I did have to boost that I I'll take you through the app here in a minute um I like that these headphones they don't speak they don't have a voice to say Bluetooth on silent mode no it just makes noises and honestly I like that the cool feature and why I like these Sonos also instead of going for like Bose or some of the higher end Sony is simply for the fact besides build qualities that I want Sonos products in my home I want to start integrating myself into that Sonos ecosystem and these if you have the Soundbar from Sonos um it's the I forget the name of the soundar there's two sound barss but particularly this one that's T this like $500 that's the one that works with this but it'll work with all your Sonos so you can basically talk these headphones will talk to your Sonos and you can uh put your TV the sound from your TV into here uh that's really cool so let's go into the case this case it's a very it's like a textured thing made out of cardboard very clearly made out of cardboard it's got the Sonos logo inside let me see if I can open it further inside it's really cool it's like a green you're seeing a theme Here the aqua with white I love that and then it comes with this little thing here uh where you can put your cables the cables are themed white one thing that I really love about Sonos which I had to do with the Maxes is I didn't I had to spend a 99 was it no it was 50 bucks for the headphone cable here's my USB to USBC cable and here is a really long really nice 3.5 mm headphone jack 2 USBC thank you son for including this apple learn from them please I definitely want to see that in the next airpods Max cuz I will if they make an airpods Max that is not as heavy I will go back to that if it you know probably useable but I I like these better right now these are for me this is the better choice until Apple makes headphones that are lighter cuz I don't like the build quality of Sony or Bose this seems to be pretty high quality to me and these uh see this uh wire holder has a little magnet actually this might even if it was a little less uh oval it would fit in the back of an iPhone I just thought about that you will see a little indentation and that ntation you will you'll get they attach directly um to the case now my only complaint with this case is putting these headphones inside of this case like this it's very very snug there's no play so you if you put it in wrong I got the I got the hang of it they go like this but the first time and even then they don't close all the way you have to push it and then it will close Okay uh pretty cool I like this case so while I open and talk about battery life I'm amazed okay so I got these headphones yesterday yeah yesterday so's Friday today Saturday um and I'll tell you one thing that I'm super happy about I charged them up to 100% and today I wore them for 8 hours straight I was at the gym I exercised 4 hours and then I was just shopping around had my headphones on and talking about I think yesterday after I got them Thursday night yesterday I charged them up Thursday night yesterday I wore them the whole time all day I finished the day at about 72% and that's I mean that's incredible and I still have like 60% I can go with these headphones a week without charging most likely I haven't done I'll probably figure out once I have a week with these I might make another video I'm impressed right now so far I'm amazed um now I'm going to take you guys through the app and uh then we'll go from there so I'm going to show you the Sonos app so right here so this they actually had some issues with the Sonos app uh that's the only thing but here's what happens when you get a headset for the first time I'm actually going to put mine on and power them and I'm going to show you how that looks okay this it'll be very cool animation let's do this okay they just turned on the app is open there you go it will connect the app looks to be written in flutter due to the loading the the views look very fluttery or react native but mostly I think it looks fluttery okay so this is your your menu here you can set the name I changed the name to what I wanted battery 62% as I told you check that out haven't charged them since Thursday night so you have you can change here uh ambient mode active noise cancellation I can still hear myself talk with active noise cancellation but I can't hear anything off is like a headphones are off I like uh ambient mode for now EQ this is my EQ settings as I told you I put the base way up and I left everything else default oh uh head tracking is off I don't like head tracking um it it's not as I don't know i' never even on the max I turned it off Bluetooth uh this is cool multi-port so I carry two phones I carry an iPhone and an Android I'm recording right now for my zold so I have my iPhone if I'm listening to music on my zold and I get a call on my iPhone when the Call Comes it'll automatically pause the music on the Android and it'll swap over to the iPhone that was really good experience yeah if you're playing something here it'll you you'll see like the name of the song you can control your volume um honestly get to know your son's a education yeah that's the app so there you have it the Sonos Ace I guess it's 24 hours Impressions it's been a little over 24 hours and I'm amazed with these things all right thank you guys for watching
