Sturgis Bike Rally. My First Time.

Intro than me and Ry going to watch some racing we'll catch up in a little while he's just a good old boy who loves burning rubber and driving [Music] fast yep here we are again Memphis Driving to Sturgis International we are headed to sturis I have no idea what we're getting into but oh Rick wear it's like I I want you to come flat track teams racing downtown sturis here we go just checking in saying hi from Denver if I hav on more time I'd make my way over to see bri5 speed that's go next plane coming up my crazy luck with Airlines continues we are in Rapid City South Dakota only 4 hours late but we made it I have missed my ride and we'll be taking an hourong Uber ride to get where I'm going let's go all right we are where are we at where are we at y'all so we're with Stacy and Christopher where are we um you uh elorn ridge elorn ridge rdn Spearfish Spearfish yes obviously we've made it to part of where we're going and I can't go anywhere where we don't see we don't see drag bites you don't see them out here very how's this happen I said I I just get here and I show up and what do I see Pro motorcycle it was just running too how are you good how you doing clay I'm good so there's this guy that just passed this guy that just passed 100,000 on YouTube besides me this guy just passed 100,000 on YouTube as well he's my equal the only one that could talk better faster clearer than me love you you look good buddy you do to you're a badass y see this is my Kenny conversation right here that's it I've never had anybody interview me before well we we'll have to fix that yes yes you look who's walking up look at here buddy how do I get you to a motorcycle deal man hanging out at stur us with us we appreciate it I'm glad to be here we're glad you're here man but you know what what's that I can't believe I'm sitting here hanging out with one of my heroes and we're really n neighb if you go back I mean where I'm at St Louis ain't that far apart oh man St Louis that's my favorite place I tell you what I move from there to make some money I couldn't make no money back there man you know I had to come to North Carolina maybe I need to move out of Tennessee then well Tennessee is good man thank you for the invite brother I know you got a hand appreciate everything man glad to be here and again everybody half NASCAR Foundation of the money half of the money and we don't keep a dime everything has been donated for the bike we have uh we don't keep nothing no no cost nothing half of the money goes to the NASCAR foundation and all that does is support children's causes I'm on the board of the NASCAR Foundation we have raised millions and millions of dollars and made a lot of young kids happy and the other half of the money goes to Rapid City Special Olympics flame that is their team up in Rapid City for these wonderful handicapped children and we've been able to raise Millions for those guys also we've been able to build ball fields for them and a lot of cool things so this means a lot this is all a very very charal thing remember it's all for Rusty Wallace Charity Ride children all right we are getting ready for the Rusty Wallace charity ride the bikes are all getting lined up ready to go I am so looking forward to this it's really cool I'm pped all right I just run into an old buddy of mine old Steven Wallace up and he's he said you got to come check out this bike is this one you built so this bike here is one of the nicest bikes we've built it's it's 139 cubic engine it's supercharged makes about 230t P of torque about 220 horsepower so it gets really rowy it's got Carbon wheels on it really cool paint schemes God that's cool yeah so I like I kind of classify this one of the nicest bikes we ever built you know it's beautiful dude y this specific customer's got nine of our motorcycles really it's uh serious as baby this is a showof day for for for for the stur drwi so he brought the heat out today heck yeah that thing's nice and you know when you said supercharged you got my attention I know you love it right oh that is cool it's kind of like having a it's a procharger is it yep yeah yep you get ProCharger you know makes it and it's it's belt driven off the crankshaft and it doesn't have any lag you know like a turbo so it'll really get up and go quick so that thing's beautiful he loves it it's freaking gorgeous NASCAR Charity Ride come on [Applause] [Music] R all charity rides about to get going here I don't even think I said this it is for Special Olympics and the NASCAR Foundation does a whole lot of stuff for needy people that's pretty cool proud to be here and be a part of this deal it's been fun here round the this r [Music] Fajitas Showdown our fine friends over at American flat Trek said you know what let's have a little Showdown little Preamble if you will and so we are going to have a fajita face off who's familiar with fajitas yeah who are you and what makes you great sha texter Balman what makes me great I'm a female cooker I'm Bri bman uh great that's a little over the top for me but uh I think what makes me good is Sha this man is going to live a very long and happy [Music] life so I've seen a lot of unbelievable Mount Rushmore things on my trip to sturis but I was told there's one place that you got to go if you're here and see something unbelievable and that would be that right there holy wow that is totally unbelievable and apparently if you go to sturis it's your Trip's not complete unless you make it to Mount rushy and here we are started in 1927 finished in 1941 I can't remember the rest of the Wikipedia I read other than the fact there's still an ongoing lawsuit between the Sue and the United States over who actually owns this property but all that aside that's all I remember my little PE brain about Mount Rushmore but this is unbelievable if you've never been it is a mustsee no question about it it's crazy it's beautiful absolutely [Music] [Applause] [Music] beautiful so I had really slowed down Bike Show long enough to show you some of these bikes I want to show y'all twoo right quick the paint on this one is unfreaking believable check that out it's a big wheel bike pretty cool this one really caught my attention check out that throttle the foot rest the exhaust that's a speaker of a drivein theater check out that Grill freaking hem Val covers on there that is so cool all right so we just showed up today and we're out here gawking [Music] I said we're out here gawking we were looking at that freaking fully customized deal back there and now you're over here looking at these big Cruisers I know that's the last thing me and you need I want one of each that'll get us in trouble that'll get us in trouble so this morning while I was drinking coffee and walking I spotted this car coming [Music] [Music] check that out Race Day [Music] ohza good morning from Deadwood bright and early coffee time it is race day I am here to watch Shaina and Brier Balman also Cody cop all part of the Rick wear racing flat track team it's bright and early just getting some steps in to get woke up this morning it's funny to see this street empty and has been loaded with thousands of bikes this whole Bike Week thing has been wild and uh I'm actually in Deadwood right now and it has been an amazing trip now it's time to go raceing let's go all right Pit Area folks I've already told you it's been a bright and early morning we are in the pit area downtown Sturges for the first ever American flat track in town through the city of Sturgis this is going to be crazy part of it is on the street and part of it is on dirt so it's going going be interesting I'm curious how the track is going to lay out because to be honest I don't know where I'm going to watch and how much of it we'll see cuz it's literally right through the streets but it's going to be fun and cool and uh very exciting obviously I'm rooting for the Parts Plus team it's what we're here for there's Brier he's getting everything ready so it's interesting a little different than normal they got to pull their rigs in unload pull the rigs out again tight area right downtown it's cool so I last videoed at 900 a.m. it's now 3:30 it's been raining so they're out here getting the dirt prepped and like I was telling y'all it's a little dirt section the rest is the actual Street this is going to be so crazy crazy crazy I don't know I don't know if they've ever done anything like this but it's going to be interesting to watch for bikes that normally race on the dirt to do both makes me think a Super Rusty Wallace Moto there's my crew they're hunting me they've been texting thought I got lost I have found my way to a balcony and look who I done run into Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace what are we doing today brother man I tell you what we have been here for 2 weeks now having the best time of our life at the 84 Sturges soccer rally but one of our big big deals was doing the sturge Buffalo chips Rusty Wallace ride presented by Harley-Davidson and we had it on Friday August the 9th talk about successful man it was Unreal we raised over $420,000 everybody had a great ride but now this is the last day of the rally and we got all our bikes loaded up our Southern Country custom motorcycles that we build now and I got an invitation from NASCAR's Mike Helton to come here and watch the TT races here for the first ever races in the city of sturis which is going to be wild and as we're talking right now they got the track dry we had a ton of rain today they're about ready to get out there and run and I'm excited about it but I'm here to watch the TT races me too so me and Rusty have been here for about 30 minutes bench racing that's what we've been doing and behind us over here I don't know that you can really see it but all we've been talking about I'm going to show you you can't hardly see right over here is a dirt section and Rusty had a very good explanation what's going to happen when they jump out of that dirt to that concrete I think I think clay when they pop off the dirt and they hit the asphalt it's going to be pretty slick not think there somebody's going to be busting their butt over there maybe not I don't know but these guys have never run this track before they have no practice yet at all so I'm I got this real high LOF I'm at this hotel I'm at the hotel sturis right now in his Corner Room that they let us all come up in and uh we're going to watch them come out of that corner and haul ass down here we'll see what happens it's going to be fun it's going to be fun me and R going to watch some racing we'll catch up in a little [Music] while of thee and the home [Applause] [Applause] right Cody won in the singles R put up a good fight finish second in the super twins a wild race concrete as you name we were going at those walls really really fast and uh the fronts were getting really really greasy just cuz these things aren't built for the uh the asphalt so mission super good job brother was Jared vandercoy with an incredible star we're on track for a third championship and uh this couple week break will be much needed what you got there brother Ward my uh King owner you know championship for the weekend first place uh Hardware it's pretty cool cuz it's inaugural it's inaugural very so you know what you got yeah you got the uh I got the track here you know it's pretty cool I've been involved with a handful of inaugural races uh MSA you know Delmar Grand Prix uh Las Vegas Grand Prix and Trans Am back in the day but this is something I think it's going to be around for a while it's just so iconic of a place yeah cool to be here on both podiums in first and second heck yeah you had a good night we all did had a great night all the sponsors had a great night and uh I'm glad we had that stomp that loud pedal guy here hanging out for the whole week oh it was fun dude I've never seen anything like that of course I guess nobody else has either no nobody has either so I think uh we learn a lot from uh I think probably from promoting this and the racing was fantastic so yeah it loved it and AF and those guys did a fantastic J they did I thought when all the rain came we were done yep came in sun came out nobody left how more people came back I think so it was just fantastic it was you know I got to have Race Recap the content what do you need I'm here for it well I tell you what you can't be mad dude this was a crazy race and you finished second yeah hectic I mean it was fun I we made it through it and we got did a bunch I don't know if you saw we did a bunch of burnouts before the starts after the starts on the starts a lot of smokey burnouts so it was yeah thankfully everyone's good everyone's okay happy you guys came and I did well got a Podium usually I don't do that well so it feels good to get back to Rick and the whole team dude that was awesome everyone so it's uh I'm going to tell you I was up on the balcony watching and coming out of that J look sketchy yeah it was especially cuz I was pretty good in the dirt and then when I dive back over to the asphalt my bike we were chasing that particular spot the whole day we were struggling to get any type of grip so it was like once we finally got it figured out a little bit in the dash for cash we're like cool we have a good good base setting for the main and we were good but that's kind of our weakest link today and it was oh we had some moment I stepped around a few times I'm like relax there's nothing wrong with silver so heck no I mean let's face it the old 95 bike was rolling dude I think was rolling you had to take your days you got to give it to them when they get it and they had it today so we were good with second the 20 started breathing down my neck one of my good friends like I look back and saw him I'm like dude I got to go so we actually did our fastest lap our last lap cuz he scared the heck out of me I'm like I got to go so no all good yeah thank you guys for coming it was a blast I had a blast Outro [Music] too real B I've got a
