Lex Fridman & Donald Trump’s Interview Was TELLING And Head Scratching

how's it going everybody my name is John and today we have a very interesting conversation to take a look at as we dive into Lex fredman's interview with Donald Trump and without further Ado there's a lot to cover so let's get right into it said that politics is a dirty game in the past it is a dirty game that's certainly true uh so if it is a game how do you win at that game well you win at that game by getting the word out and by you using sense you have to have a feeling where it's going you also have to have a feeling of what's right you can't necessarily just go what's popular you have to do what's good for a country if you're talking about countries or but you you have to get the word out and you have to just continuously like for instance you have a great show you have a great podcast it's very well watched and I'm sitting here and I do this a lot of people see it and I do other things and a lot of people see that and I go traditional also you know you have traditional television which is getting a little bit uh older and maybe less significant could be less significant I don't know politics is definitely a dirty game I don't think that's something that anyone on either side of the political Spectrum would disagree with including Independence and it's for that reason exactly why I think these long form interviews that Trump has been doing with people like Lex and like theovon and everything else he's done in the recent memory has been so beneficial for his campaign and useful for me as a gen Z voter because it provides a lot of transparency between the candidate and the voter Trump makes a good point when he says traditional media like television is dying out people my age do not watch television and when your candidate only gives those interviews on television and they're only aired by these corporations it doesn't really spread a lot of information and you're a great dealmaker and you've talked about the war in Ukraine and that you would be able to find a deal that both Putin and zalinski would accept what do you think that deal looks like I think the deal and I wouldn't talk about it too much because I think I can make a deal if if I win as president-elect I'll have a deal made guaranteed that's a war that shouldn't have happened it's terrible look Biden is the worst president in the history of our country and she's probably worse than him that's a that's something that should have never happened but it did happen and now it's a much tougher deal to make than it would have been before it started Millions of people I think the num is going to be a lot higher when you see this all at some point iron out I think the numbers are going to be the death numbers are going to be a lot higher than people think now with this I understand that Trump's answer may be disappointing to people who are really vested into the conflict with Russia Ukraine but we do have to understand why Trump isn't revealing these details right now it's an active War an active conflict so people can change the situation from now to then in order to to manipulate the deal to further favor them now what I would like to say from a personal perspective on the prospect of a trump deal to solve the conflict in Russia Ukraine I do think I have more faith in him as a businessman as a dealmaker like Lex says to make this deal as opposed to the current Administration which is basically what's running again because they've done nothing but thrown money at it and prolong the conflict which has like Trump said resulted in a massive loss of life and I don't think anyone who is on either side of the spectrum would disagree that the loss of life is horrible project 2025 so you've publicly said that you don't have any direct connection to nothing I know nothing about it and they know that too Democrats know that and I purposely haven't read it because I want to say to you I don't I have no idea what it's all about it's easier than saying I read it and you know all of the things no I purposely haven't read it and I've heard about it I've heard about things that are in there that I don't like and there are some things in there that everybody would like but there are things that uh I don't like at all Trump once again reaffirms the fact that he has nothing to do with project 2025 that he knows nothing about it and matter of fact that he hasn't even read it now despite the claims of multiple multiple people at the DNC it being the backing of every single political ad I've seen from the left in recent memory and the fact that there was supposedly a story that it was leaked that Trump was involved with it even though it was just former advisers who have since been replaced with people like RFK Jr and Tuli gabard so there's no substantial real proof that ties Trump to project 2025 you posted recently about marijuana and uh that you're okay with it being legalized but it has to be done safely can you explain your policy there well I just put out a paper and first of all medical marijuana has been amazing it's been I I've had friends and I've had others and doctors telling me that it's been absolutely amazing the medical marijuana and we put out a statement that we can live with the marijuana it's got to be a certain age got to be a certain age to buy it uh it's got to be done in a very concerted lawful way and the way they're doing it in Florida I think is going to be actually good it's going to be very good now while I do understand the concerns of people who I'd consider to be even further to the right of me I don't have an issue with Trump's stance on marijuana if you see the statistics state byst state of how many people use marijuana you will see that this is a large contingent of the population and one that Trump is definitely going to want to appeal to which will be difficult to do without any sort of except acceptance or legalization of it I think uh we would probably have a better world if everybody in Congress took some mushrooms perhaps um some not so nice things about Joe and I think that was a bit unfair and as a fan of Joe I would love to see you do his podcast because he is legit the greatest conversationalist in the world so what's what's the story behind that tension well I don't think there was any tension and uh I've always liked him but I don't know him I mean I only see him when I walk into the arena with Dana and I shake his hand I see him there and I think he's good at what he does but I don't know about doing his podcast I mean I guess I do it but I haven't been asked and I'm not asking them and he's sort of a liberal guy I guess you know from what I understand but he likes Kennedy this was before I found this out before Ken came in with us he's going to be great he's doing Bobby's going to be great of course we go from the subject of marijuana to the subject of Joe Rogan now Trump's statements on Joe Rogan I do think were a misstep especially considering that RFK later came out in support of trump and I think Trump's answer that he gave on the Lex Friedman interview saying that oh well I didn't know that he was going to support RFK Jr yet I think is a little bit of a flub answer and is definitely something that Trump in his campaign need to think about in the future before insulting Joe Rogan who does have a massive influence clients that went to the island has not been made public yeah it's it's very interesting isn't it probably will be by the way probably so if you're able to you'll be yeah certainly take a look at it now Kennedy's interesting because it's so many years ago you know they do that for danger too because you know endangers certain people etc etc so Ken uh is very different from the Epstein thing but yeah I'd be inclined to do the Epstein I'd have no problem with it that's great to hear I just wanted to put this clip in here because it's a general positive that Trump would be interested in releasing The Client List of who was on that damn Island and I think it raises a lot of questions for the current administration of why hasn't that been released and it probably will discourage voters for voting for essentially the same Administration again when they seem to have no interest in even talking about these files now that was about all the important topics that I had to discuss from the interview but I wanted you guys to hear this final statement from Donald Trump on religion and how it affects the Nation versus what KLA Harris thinks of people who celebrate a very certain religious holiday I think our country is missing a lot of religion I think it really was a much better place with religion it it was some it was almost a guide you know to a certain extent it was a guide you want to be good to people without religion there's no real there no guard rails I'd love to see us get back to religion more religion in this country sing Happy Tunes and sing Merry Christmas and wish each other Merry Christmas these children are not going to have a Merry Christmas how dare we speak Merry Christmas how dare we Merry Christmas everyone yeah that's a real tough
