Nalyssa Smith Coming To the END Of her Time With the Fever... Sides Has Lost Trust...

so Nelissa Smith is a fever player for now I don't know how long she's going to be a fever player for but it's looking like the divorce might end up happening soon before we get on to it if you guys hit that that would be absolutely insane by the end of the day either way Nelissa Smith yesterday played 10 minutes she played 10 minutes with her brother live tweeting through the game calling out her coach for not playing her calling out um her coach for when he she did play her basically putting her in a like not in a position to succeed but like I think there's Merit to to that as well if you um I've seen how Nelissa Smith played when she was at Baylor like Nelissa Smith did a bit of everything at Baylor like she was shooting like she was finishing she played with some urgency like Nelissa Smith was coming out there and look at look at how that look at that pull-up look at his pull-up of her in Baylor look at his pull-up have we ever seen her shoot the ball out that F that fast in the WNBA it's like the player that she was in Baylor the player that she was a rookie is not the player that she is now and like her brother is saying it's a confidence issue isue and look if it's a confidence issue and the problem is now is the team is no longer rebuilding the team is trying to win games and that's probably the first time in her like WNBA career that the team are like actively in the playoff picture so it's like I think her confidence is dropping I think she's dropping a little bit in as far as her output on games she never been a good Defender really good rebounder I don't know why saying she doesn't rebound she's a really good rebounder um never been a good Defender and it's just like she's somebody that in a situation can be a volume scorer like she's gone to China where I wouldn't be surprised if she leads that league in scoring she whatever the league was she was balling out she played it was one of the American Leagues during last season um last offseason she she hooped in it so it's like there are scenarios I think I think the best scenario of her is to go to a team where she can be the leading scorer of the bench trying to think of a team that would like really suit her as a player would be like heck even if you're you obviously don't take the risk on her if you're Washington but if you're like the dream like Parker highest hasn't been great like if you're a dream and Tina Charles is there for another year do you just Bank on the young number one and two pick in 2022 draft that would be a not bad trade and it's like I actually think at this stage the fever might just give her up for a second for a couple of seconds like it is that bad of a fit right now and is it Christy side's fault I don't know like it's the job of a coach to like the job of a coach is to win and make your team play as good as possible obviously it is a coach's job as well to get the best out of your players but if getting the best out of citn Clark and Leah Boston means not getting the best out of Nelissa Smith it's very clear what they're going to choose like Nelissa Smith is the fourth option on this team she's the fourth option sometimes she can play like she's the second or third option she's the fourth option and like she's coming up against against a Dream Team where she should play well the Atlanta Dream don't really have like an out and out Elite matchup for her like it's not like she's playing F Coler again but then it's the Chicago game or it's the Connecticut game where she has the match up to at who is going to cook her again and then we've seen her against we've seen her against the uh the Connecticut son she's been awful this season she's been absolutely awful in all three games so is she playing all three she's been awful any time she played against the son um but then it's the sky and Angel Reese who she is the only person to have made Angel Reese look like a good offensive player in the entire league like Angel Reese just went off for like what 13 quarter on her after she too small danger ree but it's like I don't know how many minutes she can play but I think Lind don't drop the ball because Tammy fley was going to be coming into the she was going to come in and it's very clear Christy siid prefers Tammy to Nissa Smith and then again if you believe the rumors chissy sides earlier in the year told Nelissa Smith she doesn't see what spot she has in what play she has on the team so I don't know niss MIT posted this on Instagram with a caption never denied only delayed everything is God's timing I don't beries um but yeah I don't know I don't know I think she's gone I don't get why Lindon try to trade her deadline I actually think Lindon probably did like it's it's a tough one because I think her perceived value in the league is a lot less than her actual ability and her Talent like as far as talented fours go she's one of the more talented ones but I'm just going to look through the league I'm like it's the toughest position she's going to have to take the best the toughest matchup and if she's not giving you 15 is she giving you anything anything like I'm just going to look at her they don't start um what's the name anymore they don't start par no they they've been start have they been starting N hman I think starting Hillman either way Parker tyus that's a quite a close one um if any nist might be better Washington Mystic Shakir Austin no Dallas wings um Natasha Howard better and the LA Sparks H Derk Hami better like she is of starting power forwards in the league she is better than Sophie gunningham who is a two guard who has to play power forward and she is better than Parker TI who is sometimes starting so yeah she is the 10th the best starting power forward in the league and there are some bench power forwards I would probably take over so it is a tough one because even if she does get traded she's coming off the bench almost anywhere she goes to and I just I don't know what her perceived trade value is and I think In fairness I think Christy sides is probably tank in that trade value I don't think she's being put in a position to succeed like you've got a volume um you've got a volume scorer you've got a volume scorer who doesn't get very many touches and is being turned into a spot up shooter when she can't really shoot and doesn't really play defense and is given the hardest defensive assignment on every team like I think she's being like set up for failure by Christy sides but I don't think nisith has really done much to uh to help herself so anyway yeah that's pretty much it I think she's gone I think she's gone I think she wants to leave you've seen from tweets from her brother and her mom like there's no like I don't think there's an issue between the players the issue is between um Nelissa Smith and Christy sides and I think as long as sides is there Nelissa Smith will not be on this team starting next season I'm shocked she's still on this team right now
