>> INTO JUSTIN CRUZ. >> FULL-ON SUNSHINE RETURNING TO THE ISLANDS TOMORROW WITH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. AND THAT'S THE SITUATION INTO THE WEEKEND. SO WE'RE GOING TO BEAUTIFUL WEATHER 79 RIGHT NOW. EASTERLY TRADES 8 MILES PER HOUR. WEATHER THREATS INCLUDE SOME SURF FOR THE SOUTH SHORES AND THE WEST SHORES. LET'S TALK ABOUT THOSE TRADE WINDS. THOSE TRADES ARE BACK TOMORROW AND THEY ARE HERE TO STAY THE WEEKEND WIND FORECAST IS TRADES 10 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR. IT'S ACTUALLY GOING TO BE STRONGER STARTING ON MONDAY. SO THIS WEEKEND WHERE THE NICE SWEET SPOT WITH THE WINDS NOT TOO STRONG, NOT TOO WEAK. THE STORM THAT BLOCK THE TRADE WINDS. THIS IS IT RIGHT HERE. IT'S ON THE WAY OUT. SO HIGH PRESSURE WILL TAKE OVER AND TRADES WILL CONTINUE AND REALLY WE DON'T HAVE MUCH MOISTURE. THAT STORM RETAINING ALL THAT MOISTURE TO THE NORTH. WE'RE JUST GETTING ANY KIND OF WINDWARD SHOWER, BUT THERE'S NOT MUCH SO MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND THEN BY MONDAY, WE MOISTEN UP. I'M MUCH MORE THAN THE VERY DRY CONDITIONS WE'RE SEEING RIGHT NOW WILL QUICKLY GO THROUGH EACH OUT AND JUST TO SHOW YOU HOW DRY IT IS. MOST ARE RAIN GAUGES HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY GOOSE EGGS. SO WE HAVEN'T EVEN SCENE ANY KIND OF LIGHT. MISTY SHOWERS HERE AND THERE HAVE BEEN SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS MOSTLY NEAR THE MOUNTAINS, A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVY RAIN EARLIER OVER THE SADDLE OF THE BIG ISLAND. BUT THAT'S IT, FOLKS. VERY LOW RAIN CHANCES INTO THE WEEKEND SURFACE UP THERE, THOUGH. 68 FOOTERS FOR THE SOUTH SHORE. WE'RE GOING TO FLIRT WITH A HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR THE SOUTH SHORES THIS WEEKEND. SO IF YOU DO TAKE THE KIDS TO THE BEACH, YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO DO WITH THOSE STRONG CURRENTS, TAKE THEM TO PROTECTED BEACHES. 46 FOR THE WEST NORTH 2 TO 4 EAST, ONE TO 3, 15 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR TRADES TOMORROW IN THROUGH SATURDAY SUNDAY. THOSE TRADES PICK UP ON MONDAY. BUT LOOK AT THE RAIN CHANCES
