and expect it to be in a wrestling way so we we'd understand why he'd fight back and then you can have a a accidental confrontation that doesn't have to be a match it can be a backstage uh segment with mock trying to stop Derby basically but Derby throwing everything at him and actually I think there's some really good storytelling and really good fun you can do there chokin NY rose on that top rope big drop kick big choke from Mar does she feel like a champion though already I mean it doesn't really does it is that just me I don't know I'm G to make a cup of tea while this is on a break for that milk's nearly gone um I think I like that they're including a woman in this new mock faction or whatever you call it h think they should do more of that like Mercedes could be part of the elite um yeah man I think Mercedes is part of the elite almost I think the only issue with it is it's got a huge history of not working as well within aw the only example where I can think where it's worked was Julia Hart with um House of black but when Jericho had an Anna J with it that didn't really work at all um it feels like the they end up putting them in different story lines and actually it's interesting because aw has a freedom to do women versus men matches if they want to do it um they've done it in the past you know where we've seen like Rio versus uh Kenny Omega and stuff like that uh I'm just gonna wait until I see Mox and dabby face to face to figure this out nice Dian but you intrigued but you're clearly intrigued that's cool that's then it's done its job you know uh Mercedes trying to be relevant and she's just not um I feel the women's division's got a lot better since Mercedes has been in it so whilst I don't necessarily think Mercedes is uh has delivered in ring yet I'm also grateful to the fact that it feels like the women's division is getting more time and we're seeing more of everything you think about it we have multiple stories running at the same time in in uh in a way that works what's the last thing that Jericho did that really worked though well I think the Jericho appreciate oan Society really works I think his uh first title Rim was actually really solid definitely the right right right one I think his stuff with orange Cassidy was great back in the day but that was when he was still with um the Inner Circle wasn't it um in terms of recent years I don't know what gimmicks have he has I mean this one is bizarre this one is bizarre kick out there from Nyla I think I think he can play if he plays into the psycho thing more but also you need to show that more like we saw elements of it in backst interview last week was it where he where he stalled on his uh on his thing for a long time you know I watched a movie Pearl with our last and it was uh it was excellent It's a pre to X and there's two scenes in that there's one like incredible monologue that just goes on for like eight minutes and it's freaking excellent and then one of the last shots is just a shot of her face as she's smiling for about eight minutes and it's it's great it's great I just wanted to watch it again when I'd finished watching it I was like my God how much emotion do you give while not saying anything man that was I've really enjoyed that film man that was a fun we've got a I'm commentary adding anything in a circle yeah the Jericho Appreciation Society didn't work the Jericho Appreciation Society though I mean it was fine there was there was elements of it that worked I think Daniel Garcia's um Daniel Garcia worked within it and that was all part of the Sports entertainment thing um and I think the idea was there but did it work not particularly not particularly I think it was a cheap shot at WWE and um actually that you know we got bored of it by that point in fact that's part of what his inner circle gimmick was based on as well if you think of them Mele Dynamite so it was just constant shops at WWE I don't I also don't think Sans are giving Jericho time to get over what he's doing uh I'm going to reverse that Di and say I don't think Jericho's giving the fans time to get over what he's doing as well I think he needs to go away and refresh like this is very much a reaction to what's happened with the sort of Fed Up of Jericho thing um and and and the allegations as well that happened and the fans booing jalo and it's very much a reaction for that rolls through big Power slam one thing I would say is that Marias needs to start adding depth to her Persona yes she did she's defined herself in relation to Tony and need to start making her own space yeah yeah exactly kind of part of the reason I won't put the title on her because her only story has been um the the all about e story you're exactly right yeah it's almost almost the same thing as to as Cody defined by one thing once you get the end result where do you go from there and that's fine if you've got a story ready but actually they haven't they haven't pushed forward with the story yet we are only two weeks in so I'll give it some time but like you know I suppose at the minute this is just a a strong title defense for Mariah May looking at going for the count out win feel like Jericho's last good gimmick was the Inner Circle but I may be the only one who's enjoying the learning true stuff it's so awful that I laugh cool man cool didn't versus three to be determined aarda is winning that Danielson versus Perry danielson's winning that a bit of a predictable pay-per-view I mean there's only really Willow and that I don't know which way they go but it's like a coin flip I mean it doesn't really feel like it matters ospre veres pack I think it'll be Osprey that gets to win but I also if there was to put that title on pack I think they could do other stuff with Osprey but we'll see I don't think he'll lose um and stri Strickland versus Paige like you know again a bit of a coin flip like is this going to be the time for for what aw pay-per-views are they'll be uh you know they'll be good and that I think the match of the night will probably be the steel cage match um Hamman SI Buu sitting in a chair in front of the
