important are these outings for you just mooving preparing yourself knowing that there could be opportunity o I mean yeah I mean I feel like every time I go out there it's really just trying to do the best I can to put us in a good position to win and so uh yeah now every opportunity I get to to keep going out here and keep making pitches for these guys I mean yeah between the last outing in this one obviously you've been having a lot of success gu what's just been the focus for you as of late uh we kind of got the throw bit locked in now uh all Fork just really trying to get everything going early like trying to really land uh the offs speed make sure it's more in zone rather than just trying to get a Chase from the start so uh being able to kind of land those early is just being able to kind of set up everything else what did you see on that home run I just kind of kind of pulled a fast ball just a little bit uh left it just a little bit to middle and he he jumped me so yeah were you hoping to get it higher cuz it was a little up no it was it was one to kind of get it like just away really more than anything and it just kind of leaked back over was that kind of fun you both you guys dueling and you guys both have something to work for know postseason hopes and stuff yeah anytime you kind of got a pitching duel going on is always uh it's always fun to be a part of and so yeah no absolutely kind of the back and forth competition of that is uh is fun what's sort of allowed you to handle the I guess literal ups and downs of you know I think it's a fifth time you've been up here and back down and up how you sort of managed to cope with all that uh I mean it's it's really just kind of taking it a day at a time like I mean obviously it's it's hard as you continue to go up and down to not kind of like think about like the future and like where you kind of are but really just like trying to like the cliche stay where your feet are and really just like continuing to work anytime I get an opportunity here or there just to to kind of show what we can do and uh just keep taking advantage of the opportunities I guess with that mindset just how encouraging has it been just seeing how your stuff has played at this level especially in a game like tonight in which they're the best in their division yeah I know it's very uh it makes you feel good gives you a lot of confidence to kind of be able to go out there and see how your stuff plays against some of the best teams uh some of the best players in the world and so yeah no absolutely uh the the way that I've been able to kind of come out here and kind of make pitches and and uh just kind of see how it plays against these guys is makes me just know I belong so thanks appreciate you guys
