FOX. 31 PHOTOJOURNALIST MIKE ROBERTS SHOWS US THE EFFORT TO GET IT RUNNING ONCE AGAIN IN TONIGHT'S SIGNATURE STORY. >> THERE WAS A FIRE IN THE BUILDING IN NOVEMBER OF THIS SIGN WAS REHABILITATED AFTER THE FIRE, BUT THEY GAVE IT A NEW PAINT SCHEME. AND SO THAT WAS THAT THE TURQUOISE AND THE PINK NEON THAT EVERYBODY REMEMBERS PROBABLY FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS. WE HAVE LOST SO MANY NEON SIGNS ON COLFAX. THE IDEA WAS TO BRING IT BACK AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO ITS ORIGINAL COLOR. ALL THE LETTERS DID NOT LIE TO A LOT OF THE PATCHES OVER THE PAST 10, 20 YEARS. WE'RE JUST BAND-AIDS THAT TANGIBLE LINK TO AN EARLIER AURORA EARLIER COLFAX. AND SO WE WERE ADAMANT THAT WE WOULD NOT SWITCH EVERYTHING OVER TO LED THAT QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ME ON OUR MAKING THOSE REPAIRS. >> 4, 5, 6, THIS IS GOOD TO GO.
