hey everyone welcome into the Nascar Cup series garage here at Michigan International Speedway there are three races remaining on the schedule for the regular season in the Nascar Cup Series and let's set the stage on how the playoff picture looks right now sitting right around the elimination line is Bubba Wallace Ross Chastain and Chris buser now with Austin Dylan's win at Richmond not counting toward NASCAR playoffs eligibility in both the driver and owner championships it's the 17 right now who looking in but for one of these teams to make the round of 16 they're going to have to minimize mistakes Chris and I were tied in points we're the same average finishing position it's funny I don't feel like we raced around each other a ton that's the the only goal is for the one team in track house is to just go faster that's that's going to solve a lot of our problems we didn't want to wait this long we wanted to to have that that win earlier and we've been so close with that it's going to make these a little more stressful but we know we have really good speed I RFK Ford Mustangs I love our chances uh it's going to be it's going to be tough on everybody and on our team uh we got to really work hard to to make sure that we're firing on all eight and um we execute at the highest level of of what we possibly can so that's how it sits to even make the NASCAR playoffs and race for a championship but there's also a regular season Championship on the line and all season long it's looked like it's going to come down between the Hendrick teammates of Kyle Larson and Chase Elliot but there's a player that shown up within the last last couple of weeks the 45 of Tyler reic we need to do everything we can to leave here and try and you know be the point leader or or just have as much of a cushion as possible because I feel like you know Chase um Kyle and obviously my boss Denny whoever think comes out of of of Daytona with a gap of 10 or more I think he's going to have a pretty good shot at locking it up so that's where our goals are going to be focused on is just trying to survive Daytona with with the Finish you know not have an early exit I think that'll really hurt our chances of getting that regular season Championship Mother Nature did not like the Nascar Cup series on Saturday and practice and qualifying was cancelled for the rule book it'll be Denny Hamlin that leads the field to Green make sure and tune in to the Nascar Cup Series racing at Michigan International Speedway
