Intro do you guys know who's repping the red white and blue at the Paris 2024 Olympics well Wonder no more we've got the scoop on team USA's women's golf Squad and trust me it's a Dream Team curious about who made the cut and why they're the ones to watch stick around we're breaking it all down right here right now let's get into it first up leading Team USA is the queen herself Nelly Corda this girl is a beast on the course and she's heading to her second Olympics after snagging gold in Tokyo 2020 Nelly's been tearing up the LPGA Nelly Korda Interview Tour winning six events including her second major at the Chevron Championship she even had a crazy run with five straight wins tying the LPGA record we all remember her 662 in Tokyo that clinched her gold medal and Nell's just as pumped for Paris as we are I have never been to Paris and the one thing I'm really looking forward to is the croissants probably on every corner I love Baker and I loveed baked goods so that's one thing I'm really looking forward to and obviously representing my country and um getting to compete in the Olympics is such an incredible opportunity joining Nelly is Lilia Vu Interview world number two Lilia Vu she's had a rough season with injuries but she's back and better just in time for Paris Lilia had a back injury earlier this year but came back swinging at the maer LPGA classic winning with a 16 underpar this win was huge for her after months of doubt I mean yeah I I would love to play for the Olympics and represent Team USA but yeah I'm just focus on the next tournament in front of me this will be Rose Zhang Interview lilia's first Olympics and we can't wait to see her crush it last but not least we've got the youngest member Rose Zang she turned Pro just over a year ago and is already making waves at 21 Rose has won two LPGA Tour events she made a splash at the mizuo America's open becoming the first player since 1951 to win their debut on the LPGA Tour she also snapped cord's win streak at the cognizant Founders cup uh it's honestly crazy and incredible um obviously nothing's set in stone so right you know I'm just trying my best to put myself in an opportunity to be able to do so but that's all I can do if things work out things work out things don't you don't Outro Paris 2024 will be Rose's first Olympics and she'll be the youngest American golfer at the games since 1904 how cool is that don't sleep on the US men's team either we've got Scotty sheffler Xander schael wendam Clark and Colin morawa schael took gold in Tokyo and morawa was super close to a bronze Scotty and Windam are making their Olympic debuts bringing fresh energy to the mix the women's Olympic Golf tney kicks off on August 7th and wraps up on the 10th The Men start on August 1st and finish on the 5th mark your calendars you won't want to miss this all right that's it for today if you're as hyped as we are about team USA's chances in Paris smash that like button share this vid and hit subscribe for more updates drop a comment below on who you think will bring home the gold thanks for watching and we'll catch you next time [Music]
