Livestream Reaction to Apple’s It’s Glowtime iPhone 16 Event

hello ladies and gentlemen I hope I'm going live about now welcome to a pretty long live stream today at least I hope it's going to be and I won't be stopped by technical issues as I was during Apple's last live stream which was absolutely freaking nerve-wracking uh this is the longest preup to any Apple event we've ever done like a full hour not that I think that's really necessary given how much we have covered every single rumor and how it has been developing but I really wanted to give myself the time properly analyze whatever is left that we haven't yet talked about uh just see if something might develop last minute we have already gotten some extra news and stuff like that uh Mark German has changed his mind on a couple of things though he claims he didn't which is quite funny and a big shout out to Max Maximus who is also Mark Tech promx supporter right here on YouTube leaving uh 6o uh uh Super Chat saying he won't be able to watch live today something work related came out but maybe he can join basically after work and he wishes us all a good stream well thank you very much I know work stuff can be really really uh be wor in that regard like uh uh I personally have really worked to make this week kind of workable for me and all the potential live streams and video coverage I plan on uh doing so I fully understand if it doesn't work out obviously for all of you um stuff like that is hard to control of course let me just briefly check on my iPad if the stream is what working yes seems like it is uh as always before we get fully started now this isn't a and that she's also looking forward to what's happening today thank you so so much um so what is happening tomorrow that isn't Apple Focus now obviously the presentation for the iPhone 16 16 Pro whatever is today so tomorrow I was planning on just giving you my uh more in detail thoughts maybe some early benchmarks leak or something like that but there will be another event actually tomorrow now it's not Apple but as you guys know I Do cover other things on this channel from time to time and that includes PlayStation and tomorrow we are getting a PlayStation 5 technical presentation by Mark Cy who is the head engineer over at PlayStation for so basically and uh he will be talking to us for a little less than an hour far wait it's a 9 Minute technical presentation okay okay um I think I might have gotten that misconstrued this is why it's really good for me to be doing these live streams I learn along with you I re oh no no I don't rect along with you guys it's not that kind of only fans Liv stream uh I react along with you and uh it's always an opportunity to learn so it's just a 9-minute presentation afterwards uh we are going to keep uh talking uh about Apple I don't yet know if I will uh divide it into two separate live streams or I'll just keep it as one uh or maybe I'll just do uh Playstation stuff tomorrow and then focus on more Apple stuff on Wednesday or Thursday um not like you guys will be starved of course for Apple content uh in the next couple of days Rec and weeks but yeah that's about it it's on uh 8:00 a.m. Pacific time uh 11:00 a.m. eastern time or 400 p.m. uh British standard time uh so for me it is going to be at 5:00 p.m. which is quite quite good because uh I have an early work day tomorrow so I'll be finished by around 300 p.m. and I'll be able to just join you guys here and react along with you now again it is going to be demonetized so if you want to support me to keep doing this and potentially maybe even take a little bit obviously um as I said you still have a full week of me reacting uh to look forward to some of it might be trying out new content types for now I really like doing the live streams but maybe I'll do like a YouTube short or something in between uh but yeah basically at least four videos this week hopefully five or six uh that's kind of my plan depending a little bit on if something work related might come up which obviously Max Maximus can uh uh acknowledge because that's what prevented him from joining us for longer than a few seconds uh so let's start with the few not notable changes last minute leaks of what is not going to be happening today or what is going to be happening differently today than we might have expected first it starts with the actual pricing now I've done a live stream or let's just call it as it is all content on my channel has become live stream the few short videos I used to do kind of have gone to the Wayside but uh this is is from uh Apple rumor Jesus himself Mark Gman Mark Gman really should do like the Deadpool meme where Deadpool says like I Marvel Jesus and Mark Gman should said that should do that with himself and apple rumors um so apparently iPhone 16 Pro will retain the $9.99 starting price now it's important it's a starting price uh and will get noticeable battery life improvements of course we know that the 16 Pro is actually getting it this proportionally larger battery like capacity increase than the pro Max but apparently All Pro Models will be getting a nice increase in battery life so it seems like the uh well decent capacity increase does come along with some efficiency increases or at least not notable efficiency decreases because otherwise we would be looking at around the same battery life which of course we've had in the past right when you think about the iPhone 11 Pro Max which had around 4,000 mahh battery that one you could argue had better battery life than maybe something like even like the 14 pro Max with a 4,400 mli hour battery most likely because you just use those devices differently obviously a 14 pro Max will have more performance and things like that but beyond that you also have always on displays potentially brighter screens things like that uh and and all of that kind of basically kept battery life about the same people say the 13 Pro Max has been kind of the battery champ I think that's colored a little bit by the fact that the 14 pro Max introduced and always on display and people were just unwilling to shut it off I think otherwise 14 pro Max and 13 Pro Max have otherwise pretty identical battery life from everything that I have seen uh but let's start basically we have discussed that uh the 16 Pro could get the price increase to $10.99 the same way the 15 Pro Max got the price increase from 1099 to 11.99 last year getting rid of its 128 GB storage tier and just jumping to 256 GB it was very natural for us to assume that the 16 Pro uh could follow that path now it's important that in my opinion the main reason why Apple might not follow uh what they did with the pro Max on the with the 15 Pro Max on this year's 16 Pro would primarily come down to the price itself it's not that oh it's so much better to pay 9.99 for 128 gabt then it is to pay 1099 for 256 what I think uh Apple really wants to avoid is this idea that iPhone Pros are now like basically 4digit price devices even though they objectively are right $9.99 might be a three digigit number but it's already as close to it as you can get most people buy 256 gab model some people buy 512 gigabyte models uh some even one terabyte uh uh so yeah you can absolutely forget it but this is an important psychological barrier that I can kind of understand that Apple wouldn't really want to destroy that Apple would just want to basically keep for as long as possible despite inflation despite other price pressure points uh but yeah this would date back as far as to the iPhone 10 price uh in 2017 of course that one had 64 gabyt as a starting point uh so you are getting more storage even at that price point but of course storage is got noticeably cheaper since then even faster even better storage uh so it's not like storage is the main culprit here uh in keeping prices as high as they are if you want to say it's basically everything else like the chassis has gotten even more expensive now that the Apple uh transitioned from uh stainless steel to Titanium uh Apple has gotten much more expensive but better Qualcomm modems instead of like the iPhone 10 had like a mix of Intel and Qualcomm modems and then with the iPhone XS they went fully only Intel which was pretty bad uh of course the screen is now all the more all screen uh that it has ever been uh the cameras are better the sensors are actually larger the uh Optical systems themselves are more complex with more lenses glass lenses versus plastic lenses uh it's all basically just piling up and up however due to mass production due to reaching potentially newer markets uh due to some currency adjustments because let's be honest not every currency has been as well off as the US dollar Apple has been able to at least keep the US dollar starting price somewhat uh similar to before uh so uh this is basically it for this specific rumor now this obviously does contradict the trend Force report that we have uh analyzed on one of my previous live streams but it isn't to say of course that it doesn't make sense as I say like 999 is an important uh psychological uh barrier and apple might simply not want to cross it now of course that does very likely mean that the 16 Pro would still start at 128 GB as we all know 128 GB isn't just Less storage than on the uh uh than 256 or 512 duh but uh it is also a limited storage which uh means that for example some features like uh higher resolution prores recording uh is not available on that lower storage tier now of course you can still connect external storage but that's in my opinion even more of Niche use case than just progress recording which is already so Niche I kind of don't think anybody is doing it who doesn't at least have a 512 gigabyte iPhone model but uh yeah that's a discussion for another day uh I personally have a 1 tbte model I only actually fill up pretty much exactly 128 when you consider obviously that uh storage does lose some uh capacity in formatting and things like that that leaves me with about like uh 850 gabt left still uh I might artificially download some stuff on it just to fill it up more but uh honestly if I really really wanted to use an iOS device with a lot of internal storage uh I would do so on my iPad and Rosa is also joining the live chat also wishing us all a nice live stream thank you very much for for that that's basically all my German viewers uh get exhausting all their capabilities right early in the chat uh obviously I am myself I'm from Germany but uh my German viewership is quite low but uh we we see them right now in the live chat which is very nice um we are also getting more confirmation by people who have seen the latest iPhone itself Mark German talks about the noticeably Slimmer bezels it should be noted of course that we are kind of hitting diminishing returns going from like 1.5 mm to like 1.1 or something like that uh I personally don't even care too much about it what I care about is finally getting a slightly larger screen not even for myself because I'm quite happy with both my 15 Pro Max in general but also the uh the sizes of the pro Max iPhones overall but I do believe that for a lot of people uh 6.3 in and then even like the slightly higher battery capacity to boot with that will actually I I think for the first time in a long while tell people you know what I really don't need the pro Max let me get the processors the same RAM amount like yeah it's not the same base storage amount but it's still cheaper anyway it has all the same buttons things like that overall it might end up with slightly less real world battery life and it might not run as cool simply even with a similarly Advanced cooling system it just has less physical size to dissipate the heat of an A8 chip but uh overall I think people will be quite happy with this year's 16 Pro and this is kind of the first time in a while where I would just say look if you really like like Pro max style Enthusiast features I finally can also recommend to get the pro um okay they will also talk about Ai and uh a at the event I wonder if Apple might break some kind of record with the A8 uh uh trillion operations per second number um while I personally don't think it's necessary in any kind for real success uh we do have like AMD talking about 50 trillion operations per second on their STS point npu not just when you combine of course the GPU and the CPU on top it gets much higher but uh I wonder if Apple might pull something like 52 uh trillion operations per second or something like that um one thing that I actually I don't know if I missed it or if I just misconstrued it recently but uh from what I understood the capture button was to be only on the Pro Models which given the focus of the pros on camera kind of made sense to me to be honest uh and I don't know if I just missed it that it has always been for all models because I remember rumors that it was for all models but then in recent weeks and months every rumor that I found regarding the capture button always talked about uh it being on the pros so and according to this which again thank you Apple rumor Jesus uh is that the capture button is actually on all four models which of course would bring a dramatic change in button capability to the regular models because those still have the mute switch with the 15 Pro and now would jump up to the action button plus the capture button which is of course uh a big change now this article does call it rather than just the Pro Models so I'm heavily assuming that this means that uh uh I didn't get it totally wrong and the previous rumors really did uh focus on it being a pro feature I would be very happy if it's not I think a lot of people are plenty happy with the cameras especially the main camera on the regular models so giving them just better image capture abilities is very good uh battery life gains will definitely be much appreciated as iPhone battery sizes have stayed relatively consistent that is true but that of course still means you can sometimes get battery life increases for more efficient screens processors things like that as long of course as you don't overload the system with other stuff um so uh again whether or not this actually does dramatically increase battery life or not remains to be seen but this is kind of uh what Mari Gman is trying to sell us on and also TR telling us that if we really want to pay the cheapest possible price for pro iPhone model we will still be uh capable of doing that now it should be noted there is a small possibility and it's a very very small possibility to be honest is that Apple will actually increase storage on the regular pro model but still keep uh but uh actually increase storage at to 256 gab so for 999 which of course would be a great value Improvement uh that's still possible and then Apple might just keep a $200 price difference between the pro and pro Max which of course this year would be very funny because the difference between the 16 Pro Max and the 15 Pro Max uh the 16 Pro Max and the uh 16 Pro will actually be smaller than the difference between the 15 Pro Max and the 15 Pro uh so yeah again this is just speculation there is actually no rumors about that but I should just note that if maybe you have a tiny bit bit of Hope technically you can still hold on to it for for a few uh more minutes uh this live stream does start in 40 minutes let's say let's see how that uh plays out just give me a second sorry it's it's incredibly humid today like really like torturously uh humid weather today um uh so uh I I I just hope that I don't sweat too much it's actually much cooler than it was the last couple of days and stuff but uh yeah it's definitely definitely not a good weather for streaming um yeah next is a rumor that I actually kind of missed it was still from a couple of days ago uh it did make sense given uh that Apple was uh to introduce features like sleep apne detection so uh a bet like just better health sensors in general made sense to me uh specifically we are talking about an upgraded ECG and better water resistance now I believe I did mention the water resistance in some previous live stream uh what is very interesting today is that uh these rumors make perfect sense right but and uh every like video or every art article will just naturally tell you it's worth noting that Apple watch Ultra 3 should get the same improvements right like better ECG hard rate sensor things like that and with it uh like sleep apne detection which is then hilarious because we actually got a new rumor from Mark Gman so thank you Mark Gman and I say that in the more funny negative way which is that uh supposed ly there is not going to be an Apple Watch Ultra 3 today uh and that we should be just looking forward to an Ultra 2 in Black which is uh of course like we all kind of expected that Ultra to what uh uh I'm sorry police or something and I do have the windows closed so it's not like I make them even quieter uh we did expect like a space black titanium uh Apple watch Ultra with the two last year and now we kind of expected one with the ultra 3 because uh I believe some rumors said that apple had basically figured out any kind of production problems that were associated there or whatever which is then even doubly hilarious that we are getting these new kind of features now of course the new new watch faces it's not transformative the Apple watch Ultra already has a very large watch face but we did also have rumors about the new uh system on the package for the uh like basically a new processor for the Apple Watch series 10 and with it the new Apple watch Ultra 3 so I wonder how Apple wants to pull that off will they reduce prices for the ultra 2 by like $100 or whatever do they just hope they can keep selling the same model which I wouldn't even be surprised right if the regular Apple watch like the series 9 wasn't getting upgraded this year to a series 10 I would say yeah of course Apple might like nominally keep the same uh MSRP for both Apple watches but then sell it much cheaper through like authorized resellers and whatever that could make sense but upgrading only the less premium model just makes absolutely no sense I know it's not quite the same but imagine if Apple were to just come on stage and upgrade the iPhone 16 and 16 plus uh potentially giving it like a newer processor than even the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max of course with the A8 chip and then just say but we but we are keeping the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max you know those models have promotion you know those models are pretty nice like yeah we are happy with that that to me would just be absolutely clinically insan Saye uh but apparently that might be happening like in less than an hour from now like at this point half an hour and speaking about half an hour we are about half an hour become a supporter over there um yeah so basically in a very interesting twist we might get a less complete event in a way because I think all of us kind of expected an ultra 3 but there is something that could still come that would just be a big surprise or honestly it would be pretty much a shock given at how long this device hasn't been upgraded at this point I'm of course talking about airpods Max featuring improved audio and USBC this is coming from Apple rumor Jesus Mar Gman who uh basically Mak a blog post about like or just like even a series of tweets I would say about like some last minute predictions he probably got access to maybe the actual event file or something like that and uh along some of the more negative stuff like the idea that we wouldn't get an Apple Watch Ultra 3 he did share one interesting tidbit which uh actually contradicts some of his previous uh rumors which is that Apple would uh finally finally upgrade airpods Max of course airpods Max being Apple's most premium wireless headphones uh which currently date back to the year 2020 uh being one of the reasons why they are still lightning based and age1 Chip based so if you're unfamiliar the airpods Pro 2 and 2.5 that have USBC they run on H2 chips which enable much better noise cancellation and some better efficiency while the more premium version actually still runs on an older chip which of course it's a different design so you canot just say oh airpods Max has like worse noise cancellation than airpods Pro 2 and 2.5 or whatever but by this point it's very CLE clear that with newer chips uh slightly updated Hardware in general Apple could just keep upgrading this device and make it better it has aged pretty well except for lightning I would say it still has by all standards pretty good battery life it still competes pretty well in terms of audio quality with more premium Solutions with from Sony or Bose uh it still has some of the best noise cancellation slightly depending of course on the exact Ambient sound you're trying to uh block out but uh uh and it still has arguably the best transparency mode in any over-year headphone um but it's just like for 549 at MSRP granted you can usually get it for around 400 which does make it a lot more competitive it's just not an interesting product currently right especially as I mentioned with the limitations of like lightning and stuff like that which is obviously not something you really want to see on a device that is being sold in at this point in the second half of 2024 soon to be quarter 4 2024 even so uh even small upgrades would in my opinion go a long way to even justify potentially a 549 price point because we of course have seen a ton of inflation since 2020 if Apple really makes it again like the best headphones you can get and maybe the USBC Port really gives you great like default um connection uh for like uh lossless uh with your Mac and something like that all of that would be really really cool it's just that to me it's very funny that it took this long because obviously dh2 is now uh or 2 years old obviously we've had USBC accessories USBC devices for quite a while the iPhone went USBC last year so if there ever was an opportunity to just upgrade airpods Pro Max even while keeping H1 uh processors that was last year this is what Apple did with the airpods Pro 2 by just giving them USBC uh and to me it's hilarious that the more premium version did not uh get that um so uh according to Mark Gman they will get improved audio performance in the form of better active noise cancellation so he doesn't specifically say like oh they have brand new like audio drivers or something like that a planer magnetic maybe or something like that he does mention active noise canellation which of course does make sense when you consider all the technical advancements Apple has made in that area ever since since the introduction of airpods Max uh new adaptive audio features will while the headphones will switch from lightning to USBC of course the L being an absolute necessity to make this a worthwhile product in 2024 uh you can of course let me know if you have any interest in a product like airpods Max in general and specifically in potentially a slightly upgraded model with USBC if that solves enough of the issues for you because of course to understand for some people the main issue is just price but also the fact that they are like I know they're of course portable but fundamentally like to me I don't like ovar headphones that much in general and to me because of how portable airpods Pro are it's just this a little bit of a nothing Burger to get the airpods max just slightly improved like apple would have to go like crazy and give it like a default price price of $3.99 so that day one I can buy it with like the best possible price performance ratio basically uh but that's kind of how I think I of course understand that other people might just care that oh it's airpods Max but better and it works with the same cable as my iPhone 15 or 16 series or as my iPad or as my Mac and things like that or even as my Android device or my Windows device hell yeah get rid of my last lightning device I of course my last lightning device is ironically my airpods Pro 2 but of course those came out two years ago I did not upgrade to the USBC model last year uh I could had kind of hoped that we would get airpods uh Pro 3 this year but uh that's supposedly uh uh only happening next year which again I did point out uh early in the Stream that we will be reacting tomorrow to the PlayStation 5 Pro introduction so I'm still getting to buy some stuff this year I'm not too much interested in what apple is introducing this year not because I don't think those are good devices I actually think some of them are absolutely phenomenal but I just very much like my 15 Pro Max uh its battery has now go down to 88% which uh I know for some people might look like it's uh now worth L but uh I very much enjoy it I'll just use it for another year I think then I'll change the battery inside and give it to my mom who will then use it for another two years probably then we might change the battery again and give it to my grandma who will then use it for another two years or something like that uh so uh I really have some good use cases for my devices it's just my upgrade opportunities have gotten less and less because I genuinely prefer just handing down my device to somebody in the family uh I know that I will get to take care of those devices still make sure that the software runs well um I don't have to go hunting for the best possible buyers uh for my devices that way don't have to agree or disagree with people on how used up my devices are or not uh so uh but yeah this year basically nobody needs a new flagship phone in my family so I might just stick to my 15 Pro Max unless there is something super duper gamechanging in the 16 Pro Max which of course could happen right there's always something that Apple has up their sleeve like I think with the 15 Pro very few of us expected camera quality to go up as much as it did uh given that the camera hardware for the main and the ultra white was still basically the same as on the 14 pro and then the pro Max got the better telephoto uh but what I did improve was the image signal processor on the uh A7 Pro and that notably improved HDR capabilities and things like that so in my uh uh in my opinion there will be at least one thing like that on the 16 Pro Series it might just be battery life or it might be that uh sustained performance goes up by like 2X or something crazy because Apple just improved like uh cooling capacity that much with their use of like a metal chassis battery and graphite uh Co cooling pads on top of the A8 maybe the A8 itself running on tsmc's and3 eote will be that much more efficient I've heard some people speculate maybe Apple just completely uproots all tsmc road maps and just introduces an m3p based processor that's of course not based on anything substantial but I've seen some people speculate on that which is quite cute uh yeah so that's basically uh some good some bad some pretty much expected stuff like the last thing that really came up from Mark Gman yesterday was the idea that um uh two apple intelligence Fe features would go beyond iOS 18.1 and launch with iOS 18.2 of course we know by now that uh Apple intelligence is not launching alongside iOS 18 itself it's launching primarily next to iOS 18.1 and at that point it's primarily launching features like the new tech stuff uh that is run by Apple intelligence and some stuff will have to wait until uh 18.2 one of that um is uh image playground and J Emoji now those things are obviously kind of interrelated because they allow you to create images image playground of course does this in a very free form way where you can create pretty much anything you want obviously with some reasonable limitations uh and with some stylistic limitations so Apple for now is not targeting like uh photo real B istic Fidelity or anything like some others do uh and gen mooji of course does generate Emoji for you which is of course much simpler visually than anything that would happen in image playground but apparently Apple still needs some work on both of them so they will be launching on iOS 18.2 at that point I assume that we probably would get an iOS 18.2 beta relatively quickly we got a surprise iOS 18.1 beta relatively quickly so maybe by the time iOS 18 launches officially maybe we actually get an iOS 18.2 beta or something like that again some stuff that I say is always speculative it's not like I myself have uh deep sources inside apple or uh I myself am not Apple rumor Jesus unfortunately like Mark Gman I'm Mark but not Mark Gman uh but uh yeah that's kind of how I would expect this to roll out uh image playground is described as produce fun original images in second with the image playground experience right in your apps create an entirely New Image based on a description suggested Concepts and even a person from your photos Library uh which yeah this was like the example that Apple gave where like uh make my mom into a superhero and people really disliked it for some reason look I know I'm not not a big fan of like AI art but whenever AI creates stuff that you would never hire an artist for I genuinely have less problems with it uh you can easily adjust the style and make changes to matag just thread your free form board because Apple still believes that people apparently use free form or a slide in a keynote which yeah that makes more sense to me I myself will probably if it ever comes to Europe because you can work around like Regional restrictions for Apple intelligence everywhere outside of the European Union like you just have to uh put your phone to like uh us English and Us location which doesn't change too much it like it will still find your regular location with GPS so it's not like it uh hinders like you from using Maps or anything like that but yeah in the European Union you still don't get any good work around basically at some point Apple will have to make an agreement with the European Union or just it's just re change all of Apple intelligence until it's compliant with EU regulations or just never bring it to the European Union which of course would be a pretty sad thought um and Jen Moji say make a brand new gen Emoji right in the keyboard to match any conversation this is the feature I have been kind of most looking forward to uh like this is a very simple example but it does make sense Smiley relaxing wearing cucumbers of course if you are like on your spa day and there isn't like a perfect Emoji for that you can have this one where it's just relaxed this one that is obviously like very Giddy and laughing this stuff I this is Apple intelligence to me at its best apple has always in my opinion designed the best emojis and to now get some of that with uh gen mooji basically improved which I think actually works really well because Apple could potentially do something as basic as combining two emojis right um or and some very basic like 2D imagery uh which does land itself better especially to on device processing then like super complicated make me like a CGI like big movie scene basically in AI uh this is where we like notoriously got like eight fingers from and stuff like that this of course will not be playing out like that with very simple stuff like gen mooji but who knows maybe it will still be error prone or whatever uh so uh and of course you shouldn't forget that uh 18.2 will be the continuation of Apple intelligence that is uh launching still with iOS 18.1 there is not a big deal play to all of Apple intelligence uh the feature includes the new writing tools for generating and summarizing text I've seen some very good results for that obviously limited to English so kind of of limited use to me because a lot of my work and stuff and my personal messages are mostly in German but hey maybe it will help with Twitter a little bit notification summaries I've heard actually some really good stuff about uh that it actually works really well does it pretty concisely and while sure you can potentially trick it with like trick messages from like a friend like that's not going to be real world so um it actually makes sense and of course it's just a tap away that you see your actual messages so while it could get some stuff wrong you have a very easy way to check on it uh it doesn't need to be even 100% correct it doesn't give you like super detailed summaries because if you actually really want the details you'll then just tap into the actual notification in that similar vein suggested replies in the messages app the ability to record and transcribe phone calls something of course that I will give a shout out to Android has been possible there on both pixel devices and like uh uh Samsung devices for a little bit a new cleanup tool in the photos app which uh has been uh very well rated for especially in comparison to other on device processing tools it does lose against like Google's uh on server Solutions but yeah it's not running on server but yeah I think that's a very solid like uh launch lineup of features again the idea of Apple intelligence to me is very much that apple is now there and doing AI which will hopefully also help them attract uh new people and I do hope they they they don't like restructure all of their like internal workings so they can just focus on AI I don't want like the next WWDC to become what uh basically the Google IO was or what like Microsoft's latest like events or press releases were which is basically ai ai ai ai I I really still want Apple to focus on just the general user experience uh like how do UI Works how smooth everything is how efficient stuff is and then fundamentally AI should be happening sort of in parallel to that it should never come into detriment which is kind of what it starts feeling like to me a lot with Windows and to degree with Android now Google's AI features are ironically not as good as Microsoft's but they do have an actual operating system that can leverage a lot of stuff while Microsoft does have Windows it's really hard to convince Windows users to pretty much do anything right they don't use like Microsoft storefront they just uh uh they just go to steam they don't uh really like use like they didn't use like Cortana or something like that a lot uh so I don't know if Microsoft can actually find a lot of uh uh customers for that uh on Windows itself but uh yeah it's ironic the state of AI to me is really really funny really convoluted right now and I just hope that it it gets better and it gets a lot a lot cleaner going forward um now of course to anybody who wants to buy a phone that is launching today both iPhone 16 uh and 16 Pro which in this case means the families which means iPhone 16 16 plus 16 Pro and 16 Pro Ma Max they will all be capable of Apple intelligence supposedly even the I uh next iPhone SE coming sometime next year will also be apple intelligence compliant uh but of course if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max like I do you will still get apple intelligence unless of course you are like me and you live in the European Union uh so that's a that's just some like buying advice for me like don't rush out to buy uh new devices based on Apple intelligence wait for one it's not even launching with iOS 18 not everything is even launching with iOS 18.1 uh We've of course heard that uh some stuff like a completely redesigned Siri will even be up for like uh February March April uh uh release uh next year so there's stuff like that there's obviously some limitations here uh but in my opinion it's a solid road map definitely a lot to look forward to if you follow like channels like zot Tech who do like uh ba beta analys iOS beta analysis because at that point you will see a lot of coverage with iOS 18 as it gets to iOS 18.12.3 point4 uh and as I've always said on this channel is I don't expect iOS uh uh like apple intelligence to hit its full Thrive basically until iOS 20 like while I think that iOS 18 and 19 will be pretty G great I think by the time we hit iOS 20 uh and Apple has like a full like two years of not just of course uh uh working on it in the background because that has been happening for a lot time for a long time uh even at this point but I do believe that having actual ship products that people can touch people can analyze people can compare and contrast and people can tell Apple I like this feature please improve on this feature right it's similar to the original Apple watch where Apple has had good ideas across Fitness even Health but then they had some bizarre ideas on like how messaging should work like sending somebody else your heartbeat or drawing out your messages on a your on a relatively small screen all of that stuff just to me like while it was exciting for a first uh gen device all of that stuff got improved because people told apple look I think this matters I think this matters I think this matters much less and apple over time just kept on refining the things that people liked introducing new features seeing if those are features that how people liked and then refining them uh I think it will be similar with apple intelligence if for example people really don't connect with image playground I would expect it to either dramatically change maybe offering you photo realistic stuff or maybe just be left to the Wayside a little bit and apple could just say oh you know what we are upgrading our large language models obviously with every big release but the actual like uh program is not getting like dramatically new Styles or anything we're not putting too much research into it uh it seems like Craig fedi really loves some AI stuff like image generation but I don't think he will get to override like a genuine disinterest on the side of consumers he is not a micro he is not an Xbox executive who will tell SAA Adella no no no we will make Xbox work if Apple won't be able to make image playground or even Jen mooji work Craig federi won't be able to go to Tim or maybe at that point John turnus and tell him yeah I I still want that stuff I still want that stuff it's really cool for me and uh like at that point maybe John turnis will say like look if it doesn't take up too much extra development efforts here's like a a million go buy yourself for star war or something like that as the saying goes but uh yeah so I'm just saying that the reason why I'm excited for Apple intelligence is because Apple's more like currated smaller scale approach to it is genuinely like less frightening quote unquote than a lot what like the shotgun approach that like Google has been running with uh so it's now eight minutes until the actual event I'll try to start it up on my Apple TV I'll try to position myself nicely here um so that I can still uh check myself my stream uh whatever I might be looking a little bit di like too diagonal for your taste but it's kind of necessary so I can still see my actual TV let me position my mic closer to me and while I do I hoped it actually going on okay now it found them connect okay it seems like uh telling my Mac to forget it which I didn't want it to automatically connect and potentially steal like uh my connection from my Apple TV like it seems like that deletes it from all your device that's kind of bad design in my opinion it should be more manual than that or it just gets super complicated now now I would be able to and Yep this did now connect it to my iPad let's see if I can finally make it work there it is Jesus Christ thank God I did it a few minutes before the actual event because if it had happened during the event I think I would have just lost my uh apple apple us what the I just want the actual Apple Channel God I hate the YouTube apps on the Apple TV sometimes okay I am connected which this was a a new design which is interesting which I assume is just like a refresh Stell like a refinement basically okay okay it's round dish is that a new digital Crown there's the new speaker layout and but it's still a curved front glass yeah that's a new digital Crown it looks larger they're showing a heart which could mean well no oh and they showed the new diving app which could mean that it the rumors were true that it would be like more water resistant I mean that's not really a new design Apple oh it's thinner okay that's yeah that makes sense which I actually would say I know that a lot of people criticize Apple for like their re refound like uh thinness focus on the Apple watch is kind of necessary I hope they I hope they give the larger screen also to the ultra yeah it's bigger than Ultra too I love that the original front page Tech rumors focused on Apple watch being like like hard edged and apple just keeps making it software every year white angle okay man it would be really weird if they don't make an ultra three for oh jet black aluminum is black this will scratch like an mfer nice nice nice a lot of people will love the reflective design but okay that those are good colors those are not too many colors though every millimeter matters guys okay 10% thiner is not too crazy I wonder if maybe Apple just isn't ready with an ultra three but they could just use use all those thinner components in the same size Ultra oh the it's 46 mm interesting new size we thought it would be 45 and 49 50 m water resistance it's faster charging 30 80% in 303 minutes but they don't is it G2 no it's not aluminum 10% lighter and stainless Ste what polish titanium oh my God they got rid of stainless steel for titanium they're doing what they did on the iPhone Pros this will work out well this will sell well and they polished the titanium oh my go this is oh my God those are the colors of the upcoming iPhone and they have a titanium Millan Sloop I might buy myself a Millan Sloop titanium oh yeah the reflections face yeah that was rumored oh my God I I'm slightly worried they might actually not upgrade the ultra which would of course make my ultra to a phenomenal investment but I would is it like a 3 nanm chip S10 now I'm curious four Coral engine interesting okay it's interesting so apple is basically saying that neural engine on Apple watch does different stuff than the neural engine on your iPhone which makes sense I have to say that's a good refined Apple watch it it does still seem like there won't be an ultra it might be that they I could see them maybe even upgrading the ultra like in spring or something like that and apple could basically say like look we took the same chips some of the upgraded components but we are putting it now in a larger device took us a little bit yeah they're jumping to uh watch OS 11 and apple intelligence for basically Apple watch in a way yeah there's they would have talked about Ultra 2 before that man my T 2 was a really good investment let me know guys what you like here what you dislike if maybe you're much more disappointed than I am about the lack of an ultra 3 because maybe you planned on buying one apple introduced the titanium regular Apple watch there is a good chance that like Ultra will be red designed in order to just make a bigger argument on why you should still buy it uh this is sleep apne is both a risk for those other conditions like hypertension or diabetes but it's also associated with them so if you have them you're kind of more likely to have sleep apnea they are saying the Apple watch analyzes it so that's interesting so it doesn't seem to be driven by iPhone I wonder if they could give this feature to older Apple watches and have the iPhone analyze the data I love this woman like I think like she's an MD she presents incredibly well like it's a rare combination to have everything you would want in like a tech exact who actually knows what she's saying and that presents it well that's rare I wonder how long the event is going to be I would bet like like an hour and 15 or 20 minutes a a water temperature sensor how does that work it's interesting that the way Apple shows it off with like the bezels like fully 2D even though they are not they're curved obviously like it does make the bezels look bigger than they actually appear in real life which is a very interesting choice but Apple isn't tricking you here by showing it from a slight angle even though you are going to look at your Apple watch at a slight angle I I honestly believe that the Apple watch Ultra might have been a little bit like the iMac Pro and apple just wanted to give like people like similar hard IMC Pro gave you a lot more performance Apple was like look if you want more battery life here's like a much thicker Apple watch and while we're at it it's very durable for like hiking and uh but now they're introducing a lot of that for the regular Apple watch the app regular Apple watch is now titanium the Reg regular Apple watch while it might not have the same battery life it will have faster [Music] charging okay back to Jeff so either he introduces an ultra 3 there's no there's no Apple watch Ultra 3 give it up Mark you you weren't even playing buying one up to 18 hours of battery life so apple does not focus on uh uh on increasing battery life in the same thickness they wanted to make it thinner oh interest interesting are we actually are we getting actually a replacement for like find woven okay same price yeah there's no Ultra three oh Apple watch Ultra okay it was Mar Gman wrong would they have mention it I I I'm so confused why mention it if not upgrade why not upgrade yeah I don't think they're upgrading it they would have called it at this point a new whatever ear tips or what what would you call it I wonder H2 okay H2 chip means all airpods get H2 e okay they are giving airpods now a lot of the pro features with ag2 USBC yeah what okay okay so will be okay those are all now just H2 features they are repeating which makes sense for a lot of people this will be a new entry point for those features oh so the cheapest one doesn't have wireless charging and no active noise cancellation so I wonder what the price is it does make the lineup a little bit confusing though but I mean if the price difference is good I like that I like smaller packages for for for Tech 129 and 179 yeah I think that's a worthwhile price difference I would have liked like 110 or something like that but it's Apple okay if they're talking about airpods Max Pro I would bet that airpods Pro get like new a new color option or something like that like black plastic okay okay okay yep it gets all the H2 features o 549 wait did they mention wait what about H2 chips yeah airports pro pro let's see ear tips it's called ear tips I don't know why I doubted that software I will it be software yeah okay so it's not the new model it's more software features which I guess that makes my ultra 2 and my airpods Pro to just such good Investments oh they you can now use it as hearing loss stuff that's so good she's correct in all of that headphone audio exposure is a good feature that I would never enable it just I just need it louder it's funny how Ultra 2 and what and uh and uh airpods Pro two are like such no-brainer devices and those are the ones not getting upgraded I wonder if Apple just wants to sell a few other models finally and they probably made a lot of them giving the positive response and now want to sell out of those so I guess no new airports for me this year okay hearing protection is actually pretty cool for some environments I already used my airpods a little bit like that I have a mittis uh that really helped is completely gone in loud environments which is what causes this a tiny bit with airpods so I often have like at least one airpod in during concerts or whatever and now this is perfect I will not be taking the hearing test knowing I'm probably not getting the best results oh right they they still have so much data from that those studies they have and yeah over time it is only getting to get worse like you cannot really regain uh hearing Health if apple is is going to strike against like the medical accessory industry with like making this like a hearing aid device now this is of course just for people who still have like intact like hearing systems yeah hearing AG awesome I might give my Grandmama airpods now she still has pretty good here ing but sometimes she struggles maybe when airpods Pro 3 come out I'll just give her my Pro two and just tell her look for some small she doesn't like wearing anything in her ear so so maybe if I tell her look I really have no use for those airpods anymore maybe I guess this could also like work a tiny bit with like neural engine stuff yeah it seems like new devices like new airpods Pro will wait for like an H3 chip yeah and it probably wouldn't have look too good in launching airpods Pro 3 while all those features are still not validated and great they mention Germany is one of the earliest regions that's cool guess I'm happier than ever with my Apple watch Ultra 2 and my uh airpods Pro 2 wait does airports Max get H2 chip because they mentioned some stuff that is H2 based I'm confused they clearly wanted to sell some other accessories though than uh Apple watch Ultra and uh airpods Pro which is funny now it's iPhone time it's iPhone time baby I I wonder if the colors are the new stainless steel uh are the new titanium colors of the regular Apple watch or maybe they get the black of the new titanium black Apple watch but like airpods Pro too just a small shout out to just how much they have improved a single accessory with so many software features it's just amazing this is where Apple uh Apple uh silicon really shines new iPhone this is the new iPhone 16 the regular one what that was that just touch ID or was that Siri oh capture button stuff oh and the new camera design was real baby oh it looks so smooth but it's unfortunately not promotion oh that's that that was just a new Siri uh design thank God man they have a lot of people like for these individual announcements that's quite interesting like they have done that for quite a few years but I don't think I recogniz every single one of them so some stuff has moved around ah de blue color is to die for o it's still color infused glass but just much richer nice they're still white and black so Mark Gman was wrong there are five colors those colors are awesome okay it's interesting they don't call it like ceramic Shield too I wonder if it's scratch as easy if it's that tough though 2,8 yes ooh they focus on low light that's nice 16 plus okay so regular size action button true makes sense and now you don't need to do what I do by making it uh uh the camera button because now you have the capture button nice camera control they call it which makes a lot sense as a name that's so good I hope they get rid of millimeter wave and just use whatever extra space they have for features like that I like that they call it intelligence instead of AI A8 talk about a or is it A8 or is it a17 like a reused a77 Pro who do we not get oh okay it's it's a guy from the team I'm sorry from the Silicon Engineering Group oh it needs memory okay yeah in comparison to the 15 plus that makes sense it's Chen to 18 yeah so we are getting 18 and 18 Pro yeah okay send more memory bandwith yeah from 6,400 Mega transfers to 7500 second generation 3 nmet and three just like M4 they okay they say it's smaller transisters which interesting because that's not how N3 six core CPU no change there okay how much faster they didn't okay okay okay okay faster than competition those are fighting words it it's a five core GPU so the 18 Pro will have a six core GPU 40% faster than a16 which means that A8 Pro will likely be 30% faster than A7 Pro a lot more energy efficient stuff here that I guess that explains the rumor that the 16 plus would have a smaller battery which is interesting he said it needs memory and memory bandwidth for it but they don't mention that it has eight gigs of RAM what what what's happening why is Craig what what's Craig doing in what is it Italy wa what's Craig on vacation it's they didn't give a trillion operations per second number yeah there will be a lot of Apple intelligence talk to this year in general I like the focus and action this what they've already done with the Apple watch focused on how it does like preemptive stuff okay private Cloud compute it's interesting to mention that during a hardware event that oh yeah some of it is running on the cloud I think this might be just like a small reintroduction of Apple intelligence to anybody who might have missed like WWDC yeah this is this is just a small like tldr okay nice uh good commitment to energy uh sustainability with private Cloud compute I don't like though that Apple intelligence is mentioned before Hardware like camera Hardware changes or something like that Cowboy frog okay image playground is integrated in stuff like messages that's actually helpful to know right there is the new photos like analysis feature where you can search through it in a very nuanced way yeah I would say I will say though it's a good summary like I'm not happy that it's taking up this much of the event but given that it is like it's needed for shareholders just like that and apple is beholden to their shareholders if we like it or not so this is a gorgeous looking iPhone though like H God I sometimes like I know titanium is nice and all but aluminum is cheaper lighter and it they get to get those great Colors oh I wonder if the pro was like available in just aluminum entum is a choice I wonder if I would get aluminum yeah Ser that that series stuff that really transformative stuff that's like happening early next year according to Mark Gman to be honest I have to say all the devices that I have airpods Pro 2 not getting upgrade and getting software features Apple watch Ultra 2 not getting upgrade and getting software features it's amazing and my iPhone 15 Pro getting all those apple intelligence features and having to wait anyway yeah I don't think buying these devices make too much sense for me okay English Chinese French well French is probably for Canada again I don't need German Siri but I would like to access smarter sir here in Germany how long have I been streaming an hour and 4 minutes that's okay visual intelligence okay visual intelligence is actually new and it actually looks fun I I still won't be accessing it unfortunately but does it actually work like I've seen stuff like Google photos repeatedly fail it like saying oh what kind of cat is it what kind of flower is it oh Google stuff interesting a Google like that deal with Apple about like what 15 billion or whatever yeah that ain't ending anytime soon Google once that kind of exposure it's it's very smart they're uh selling access to third party stuff uh it's like a way it's like an explanation how open they are but also it helps them because they don't have the same slate of features ooh new camera like it's probably new camera hardware and some app stuff okay camera control no not portrait it looks so much like a fingerprint sensor oh that's a beautiful animation okay mhm it's a actual click wait what it just said it clicks zoom and exposure right oh that's so good ooh that's such good design it's not just zoom exposure it's a lot of inab functions but they're oh that's so good will they mention like actually new camera Hardware okay okay they even mention like full resolution recording that's cool I mean though that stuff was already on the iPhone 15 but true but it's still not a real telephoto [Music] mhm new Ultra okay uh does it have macro mode that's nice it's good that it has a new yeah yeah yeah okay so it does have the ultra white pretty much of the previous Pro that's good it was high time to deliver that they didn't say about it has like HDR smart HDR 6 or something like that or five at that point they wow they literally said it's the new camera design that enable spatial capture so like the non diagnal layout that pink will be so popular it looks so good man if that had a promotion screen if this device unless there's like a price drop for these devices or like 256 gab Space Storage I I have grown to like the photos app the new design but it's still slightly flawed they said reduce wind noise I wonder if that just means as good as an A7 Pro device or even better [Music] okay new aluminum cooling system okay I have to say as cool as it is this is this those devices and I wonder if the pros will change my mind are very much proved that uh jumping from one gen to the next just yield such diminishing returns at this point I have never heard of honor of Kings or honor of kings's world but not the 16 plus did they wait Big Boost wait but you didn't mention how large the Boost is I wonder if they didn't want to mention 16's battery life because they would have done to on the 16 plus e big boosted battery life okay that's going to be Wi-Fi 7 on the regular model well that means Wi-Fi 7 on the pros wait that's interesting that does mean that it does use the latest modem cross both devices they know that the plus is not going to sell that well the way they just talk about 16 even though they kind of mean both I mean it has A8 it has Wi-Fi 7 it has action button it has camera control it has new ceramic Shield it has new colors it has a new Ultra Ultra wide camera has a new image signal processor has stuff like better uh wind noise isolation it's literally just like promotion that's missing to make it like much closer to the pros when you think about how it just like Stacks up as a singular device yeah we can argue about things like Miss like missing 120 htz or at least like 90 htz but oops resistant not always it depends on the oops I wonder what the big battery boost is because it could be transformative enough for many people okay the plus will not sell well they should have dropped the price by like 50 bucks but you will not get $800 for an iPhone 12 traing though yeah let's talk Pro okay they do not call it like brand new design or anything I just assume it's last year's titanium design Slimmer bezels and probably the titanium is uh is polished it's in very interesting way the way it's a gorgeous animation oh man the bezels are so freaking slim there's uh camera control there's are the three lenses still arranged in a stov top design uh and yeah the wait is the titanium polished or not I can tell if it's just just I I don't think we've seen Jaws since the last iphone event right oh wow win three 6.9 okay so those rumors were true they didn't mention like higher Peak brightness or anything I wonder if they're just happy to still give you 2,000 nits but sustain it better thanks to better cooling because we did of course have the rumor that those are M14 material based OLED screens and we saw how Google pushed brightness further o oo o desert titanium looks so good who the f made that Brown dummy this is gold graphitees on the chip which is interesting they didn't wait 20% wait how much it's a metal casing battery okay okay now we will talk about the A8 Pro but we'll do that through the lens of Apple intelligence I have to say I'm more and more inclined to just upgrade next year especially if uh only the pro Max will get like 12 gigs of RAM or only the 17 Series so not this year uh I saw some stutters in my stream I hope they don't persist too much add terra cotta plans with m v like visual intelligence seems interesting though it's it seems like it does a lot of extra stuff I wonder if that's just Google or Chad GPT based A8 Pro yeah makes how is it wait how is it more efficient than A8 what okay not third generation 3 nanometer 35 trillion operations per second the same rating as the A7 Pro okay they both use 7500 Mega transfers memory and it has a six core GPU okay 15% better I wonder how that will compare to the snap dragon AG Gen 4 it's not a gamechanging uplift oh a new R Racing thing okay it's 15 to 20% faster the ship makes sense okay a lot more efficient larger caches than A8 interesting that's an interesting way to bin it but it cannot be a separate di it just wouldn't make sense I wonder if Apple keep some cash back on the regular 18 for some reason faster USB 3 speed so what is okay so there is a lot of individual stuff it's it will be interesting to analyze them all one by one it's a good upgrade it's just not one that will make me upgrade 2.4 for microns is that larger yeah second generation because uh uh iPhone 14 pro and 15 Pro had the same uh had the same sensor yeah I wish they gave gave it a larger sensor on the uh 5X oh okay oh that's what Mark German mentioned recently new photo AI powered photographic styles it's interesting that Apple has of course provided some harder numbers like 15 20% uplifts for the 18 Pro like stuff like battery life is where it gets really interesting how all of those features like interact with each other oh that's that's a cool design they didn't mention jpeg Exel uh just saying oh that's 4K 120 yeah it's 4K 120 where where they will probably say like oh you can easily make it a 4K 30 with like 4X slow motion whatever yeah e I mean it's not your highest frame rate yet you have 240 but yeah I get what you're saying nice nice for oh nice showing off some third party apps supporting camera control cannot not mention intelligence I'll be honest new microphones are fun it's not something I care too much about they they were good enough to me on the 15 Pro oh Google did that that's not industry first it's interesting that apple is said that twice like you can isolate but was Google's feature like cloud-based oh that's what they mean it's it's live control about wait no it's not live oh some basic editing features for voice memos okay so they gave it some very very basic garage Bend features which still garage Bend will be better but yeah voice memos you're just more likely to use it okay uh if uh my video wasn't Cy strike before if I had shown you the actual stream it would be now because now we are getting uh an insight into the latest video music video from the weekend I mean yeah but like it's it's not like you wouldn't be able to do an even better capture with a regular big like full sensor camera but I understand of course the sentiment but yeah high quality slow-mo is not as easy as some people think like sometimes like you would use like completely different cameras for it like lenses so uh if Apple really can give you 4K 120 without compromising like HDR capabilities and detail capure capabilities at least not by much that's a big step forward I mean the quality of the actual capture it looks great I mean they are capturing it at PR uh and they are color grad it afterwards so yeah PR is loged to be more precise okay clear and silicon fine ven where's fine ven okay okay they went Fancy on the cap on the camera control faster wireless charging I mean yeah iPhone 12 and app support ch2o yeah wait no mention of fine woven man fine Boven really was a huge huge failure if they only focus on silicone and clear cases Jesus I I'll really have to check the battery life claims and Wi-Fi 7 they didn't mention faster uh 5G okay same prices Mark Gman was correct the pro Max will be once again the bestselling model pre-order Friday okay I'll decide until then boo I'm getting tired a little bit like the fact that I haven't eaten anything but a small ice cream cone really is catching up to me okay yeah that's why they didn't upgrade Ultra 2 it it's because it was good enough then why don't you mention H2 chips that's the first text pack I'm looking up I am still ordering a pizza after this I'm [Music] starving so the rumors were mostly correct I guess that takes something out of it I'm very still excited about the iPhone Pro though like especially to see like stuff like they mentioned two times faster rate tracing over a17 Pro I would love to see proper test with that this is by the way I said that that the GPU would actually be new this is not just a faster clock GPU this is an actual new GPU architecture would be actually interesting if that means that Apple could give that faster GPU course for example to an m 4 Pro uh because the regular M4 only has like only faster clock GPU cores so that's about it for this taking out my airpods and now we'll basically waiting until Apple uh upgrades the website because yes as I promised this is a long live stream uh Apple Watch series 10 or Apple watch 10 um obviously um we aren't playing back any of the videos or ads from Apple because that's not very good uh Monumental display it features our biggest and most advanced display yet showing more information on screen than ever so now I actually want to know how big are the screens ah 42 mm is in the lineup and 46 mm so uh very interesting sizes so no confirmation of the rumor that it would be 45 and 49 millim uh seems like there's actually like apple still keeps the ultra as like a distinctly larger model uh okay uh it's a wide angle olet display so Apple says the pixels are much easier to see from an angle the screen is brighter when viewed from an angle Apple said it would be 40% brighter uh though I assume it still doesn't read the 3,000 nits brightness uh the Dipple watch Ultra does um for coronal engine ECG app display up to two 2,000 nit so it's still technically inferior it's interesting how Apple advertises 1 nit minimum brightness now which is really cool um and 326 PPI which is obviously Apple's kind of low almost lowest standard for Rea uh lower is on iPad with 264 PPI well and on Max now too technically up to as low as 220 so forget it I was just stupid um what else Sleek form factor thinnest watch Ever they said it's about 10% light lighter and thinner um it has a new uh S10 uh system in package digital Crown speaker front Crystal and antenna so uh obviously some new stuff here 7 eight and nine I myself obviously have the much thicker Ultra uh yeah it's nicely thinner it's interesting that the actual like sensor bulge here hasn't gotten thinner because that was kind of the rumor uh so it's very much the chassis itself maybe the actual sensors have gotten thinner but Apple just keeps the Bulch around and has reshuffled some other internal components who knows uh but yeah definitely a thinness increase or a thickness reduction if you so want and of course yeah if you are somebody with like a series 3 uh the difference in like uh screen size and bezel size is just absolutely Monumental here uh guys uh let me know what you thought of the event what you thought of the individual uh uh launches uh what you thought of some of Apple's marketing like a drama lama pointed out that Apple still mentions Apple Vision Pro when they can for stuff like special video recording but obviously we know Apple Vision Pro didn't sell too well uh then there is jet black aluminum again going back to something like the iPhone 7 uh colors which is cool I wonder if it's is going to scratch as easy so it will be jet black rose gold and silver definitely not the largest color Choice uh for any aluminum Apple watch I guess Apple does want to push people more to Titanium than ever uh this is how we also have uh wait is it a different titanium name than the desert Titanium on the iPhone 16 Pro and that you can choose from three polished titanium finishes that are as beautiful as they are tough uh so we have natural of course gold and St slate so different colors than the actual iPhone in titanium which is the consistency in apple metallurgic designs between Apple watch and iPhone really is slacking in my opinion uh yeah then it has sleep apne detection coming this month so it seems like it won't be available right when it uh uh is available which is interesting because now sleep apne is like for the ultra 2 and the Apple Watch series 10 even though they have like different processors so that's definitely interesting um yeah and the rest is just watch OS 11 stuff definitely nothing to uh uh game changing and then Ultra 2 which yeah this is like the new uh color here they uh you can still see of course that it has features that are even superior to the series 10 like 3,000 nits when we actually go to like the display specs I wonder uh for one by the way as s 9 and S10 don't seem to be too different if the S10 is like more efficient then Apple just uses it to give it this smaller battery than on the ultra and still give you a good experience but like this also has like a four core newal engine so it's not like game-changing difference and yeah you also have like 3,000 nits Peak brightness versus 2,000 so the ultra still is brighter it has the same low brightness at one knit and 326 pixels per in so that's a very similar experience in terms of retina uh this is an ltp2 OLED display which if we actually like go to the Apple Watch series 10 I might just actually open that in a new tab uh and we'll see here how do they what do they call the screen here they call it an ltpo 3 screen wow so it's actually a newer generation screen then on the ultra which means that if you think about the potential efficiency improvements and like how white angle would potentially allow you to keep it at a lower brightness uh uh the next Ultra should either be getting thinner or getting like crazy good battery life um yeah but like those battery uh of course stats are still notably inferior to the uh Apple watch Ultra that's that's just how it is unfortunately um yeah but yeah there is unfortunately not much to discuss with the Apple watches like the like as a lineup like the SE stays the same the ultra 2 gets like a software update right if you look at the actual like Health features um ECG cycle tracking hard trap you will see like yeah it has sleep apnea notifications as well if we go to the Apple watch uh series 10 you also have it um I'm just interesting can I do compare watches and then I would just love to see like give me an Apple Watch series 9 and uh so ltpo ltpo 2 ltpo 3 It's actually an interesting uh thing here uh and when we look at sleep apnea yes the Apple Watch series 9 also gets sleep app nice from Apple to not withhold crucial Health features from older devices so definitely definitely an interesting change uh uh oh by the way guys I'm sorry I should have made my uh face of course smaller I apologize for that um I haven't live streamed an actual event in a while so uh I apologize you couldn't just see what I was just showing on screen but I was describing a lot of it so uh hopefully that helps uh and yeah with the new colors uh thankfully they're here on the tech specs side so you have jet black aluminum and slate aluminum actually for the series 10 youve got rose gold and silver so uh good color choices and then you have gold titanium natural titanium oh no it's slate titanium it's not slate aluminum Apple should really split those up here uh and on the Apple watch Ultra 2 you have black titanium and natural titanium so no big changes here uh so now you got to see those devices thankfully uh as well yeah but really good if I actually look at something like the series 8 does that get sleep apnea detection no that does not get it because of a meaningfully worst processor so yeah if you have a series 9 or an Apple Watch Ultra two there's definitely not much reason for you to upgrade but if you are in a series 8 or Series 7 and especially Series 6 and Below yeah it's hard to not recommend you potentially upgrade and yeah you can see that the screen sizes here with just to put it against like the latest possible one it's 46 and 42 mm versus 45 and 41 while the Apple watch Ultra 2 remains at 49 millimeter to be honest with those changes I am not surprised that the ultra 2 uh is kept along in the lineup the way it is uh because the changes really are beneficial to like a thinner lighter Apple watch which is not really the focus of an Ultra 2 anyway uh now if we actually move to the second slightly smaller announcements and this is actually a Tex spec I really really need to see because for some reason Apple refused to name it uh what processor does it have chip it still has the ag1 no why Apple yeah they really gave up on the airpods max guys don't buy it like with H1 like this is really unforgivable what did it cost you to especially like really you didn't even lower prices this is this is is so unfamily stupid to me like no wonder they just kept talking about freaking USBC if it's still ag1 based like look I know it's each one in in in like per each ear cup but like really it's just a USBC this is what we waited four years for this is insanity and like the color is sure like but like the blue actually looks worse than it did before like let me just compare it like airpods Max versus they don't even have it as like a second generation they just it's just airpods max like no apple that's not how you do that you should have given it at least an H2 chip you clearly couldn't be bothered to change much you just gave it USBC I wouldn't be surprised if this is from the rumored like uh spring refresh or even like from last year when it was rumored uh and then it never panned out for some reason maybe Apple just wanted to keep selling out of lightning models maybe they hoped more people would uh but like for 549 and you don't give it even a 2-year-old Age Two chip at this point that is just stupid like I mean good for you to have USBC it still is I wonder at this point if Apple might want to redesign it from the ground up in a way before they actually like reinvest a lot in it like just so they can get rid of the stupid case and things like that it's just it's baffling to me it's still like bluetoo 5 because it's like based on the older chip it's so stupid like where is like like airpods 4 right so 129 so including airports 4 so they do have like new uh volume drop drivers basically new audio drivers you have the choice between like uh the one with active noise canellation or not otherwise they're pretty similar uh features like personized spal audio adaptive EQ and vent system for pressure Equalization which is obviously needed for uh active noise cancellation you can find it here but not on the regular airpods 4 they do have despite being like four times cheaper than airpod Max they have dh2 chip um they come in the smaller case what's the battery life per like uh dust sweat and water resistant at ip54 that's nice uh battery 5 hours of listening on single charge 4.5 hours of talk time on single charge and then on the active noise cancellation it doesn't seem like it has a larger battery uh because it has the same regular listening stats and then a noticeably lower active noise cancellation listening so if you actually want good battery life with ANC you're buying the pros uh and yeah the USBC then case just uh adds some extra stuff and yeah they're based on a newer Bluetooth technology in fact then the airpods max I actually think these are pretty pretty cool um like when we compare it here to airpods Pro 2 that makes sense they're H2 based active noise cancellation on the more premium model conversation awareness also comes on theacc models uh personal spatial audio does come across all models which is interesting that isn't how I read the text specs initially airpods pro pro of course add all of those like Health stuff hearing test hearing aid hearing protection makes sense because some of that would probably be based on like more advanced algorithms that are like uh reliant on the ear tips um May I think Apple could still probably bring it to airpods 4 but I think for now they just want to validate for one piece of Hardware um these only have the force sensor while the the airpods Pro 2 also have touch controls wait but those had like swipe stuff don't they press and hold for Siri no no they don't have swiping oh that's a stupid way to save money Apple really you couldn't give them some basic swipe gestures uh I don't like that to be honest I don't like how apple is saving money here um yeah but it's just like airpods Pro 2 are such a killer deal you can often get them for like 200 bucks which will quickly push the price of these down to I would say like 150 160 and this closer to like 110 so and at that point I think the lineup would just be just more enticing in general um let me just make clear that my stream still works nicely uh because I can be pretty paranoid about stuff like that yeah it all works good um so that's Apple watch that's airpods nothing too crazy again I'm not a huge fan of how apple is saving money but uh like again it nothing compares to the stupidity of airpods Max not even getting a new processor here it's just mind numbingly sad at this point like look it doesn't have conversation awareness uh now okay good it does have the digital Crown it does have the stupid smart case which should have been redesigned at this point it doesn't have any dust sweat or water resistance it's h it's so weird and like look no adaptive audio no conversation awareness no voice isolation no personalized volume no C well like you can argue like how much it needs like a custom heighten image range amplifier given the fact that it uh obviously is just bigger and better in some ways but it's just so weird um yeah like this is I guess my biggest complaint here um and of course then with airpods Pro 2 which do have also all the new like Health stuff to not have that on airpods Max is just it's crazy to me to be honest but yeah this is why I would say the actual new devices that Apple introduced they do make sense to me right airpods 4 apple is trying out some like slightly larger lineup here airpods Max I I don't get it really why they're putting so little effort but if they don't care that's okay and then because at that point I'll just tell people not to buy it and with airpods Pro 2 it's it's it's questionable like apple was probably waiting for like H3 chips or something like that uh multi joining the chat saying iOS 18 r c is downloadable now thank you so much for saying that I'll be uh up uh I'll be uh uh upgrading to patreon uh so that's about it for the smaller upgrades let's look at the iPhone 16 first which is the smaller upgrade of the two larger upgrades right so for one the colors are actually really really good in my opinion and apple did mention that they are continuing here actually the color infused glass so what if they saved money on the color infused glass last year they definitely aren't at this point so of course a lot of Apple intelligence advertising here the uh camera control button which we used to call the capture button A8 chip which of course is a nice uplift over a16 um a big boost in battery life we'll look at that in the compare sheet and a new ultrawide camera which of course has larger sensors uh it's not a 48 megapixel sensor like on the pros uh but it does support macro uh of course is combined with the image signal capabilities of A8 uh we are still looking at 6.1 and 6.7 in models uh the colors are ultramarine which is absolutely gorgeous I'm usually not too fan of super duper vibrant colors but this really works for me teal not a huge fan of green but this is actually a really nice uh tint and I think the pink will actually be really really popular um and white and black so eat your heart out I believe Mark German who said recently that there wouldn't be just white and black instead that we would get yellow as a fourth color option and then no black in the lineup at 6.1 6.7 in still no promotion uh so let's see a lot of Apple intelligence talk um the the capture button still Rings more true to me as a name than camera control uh I'll probably get zoed to uh get used to it but just like I liked like I just like in the word action button I like that the there there's button in the name and uh the same thing with the capture button I guess but yeah I like the user interface a lot and the way it just combined with those new iOS 18 like button animations where it looks like you're pressing into the screen it seems like it has this thinner bezels of the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max uh it looks really really good uh but yeah besides that like uh some tech specs I guess that are interesting for one storage is the same as before pricing is the same as before uh 2,000 nit uh uh Peak bright nness um 1,000 nits Max brightness typical 1600 ni brightness HDR those are the same specs as before 2 million to one contrast ratio uh a new ceramic shield to protect it all and again no promotion uh ip68 certification and what I've uh rumored would come true which is that basically the difference except for some software and apparently for some CPU cache stuff uh there is a new five core GPU here on the a18 uh which is still faster than the a16 of course by a little bit uh or by a bit uh but the A8 Pro would then have a full six core GPU yeah but if you were someone who expected the a18 to get like two extra efficiency cores or one new one extra performance core that just isn't happening at least not right now and apple is sticking to 16 corn neural engines at least for now uh if I actually go to overview uh where is the I think the compare is always somewhere on below compare iPhone right so oh oh oh there's one thing I actually oh no I actually I wanted to compare that way uh 16 16 plus oh God I wish I could have four models in here and let's just look at the 15 plus first and look at the battery life here actually um 27 hours of video playback on the 16 plus versus the 15 plus so has capacity actually gone down or not uh Max sa wireless charging up to 25 watts so that's up from 15 watts so definitely nice so that's a new capability that comes from the better cooling system and that's actually quite a big uplift from 15 to 25 watts I wonder if that means that uh well for one USB 2 transfer speeds are still here but Apple uh I wonder if the charging speed through USBC is also improved again those are specs that Apple doesn't like to advertise but uh would be definitely very interesting to know the details um we got like the fusion camera stuff we got the new Ultra wide with like macro photography and things like that we have spatial photos and videos for what drama llama set with is them uh riding the dead horse that is division Pro um we got the latest generation photographic styles of course in the 16 generation and when I just look at the regular 15 uh and battery life yeah both the 16 and 16 plus feature larger battery life than uh the previous generation and a 10% increase in video playback length of with 16 versus the 15 and then one hour of the 16 plus versus the 15 plus I wonder if the capacity reduction is uh where while the 16 gets like a larger capacity and more efficiency than the 15 this gets the larger efficiency and then a capacity decrease over the 15 plus and that's how we end up with with the battery life constellation that we see but yeah very nice to see Max saave be so notably upgraded by a full like 20 watt by a full 10 watt uh definitely should bat very well for it to like charge you like this is this is so infuriating because that would work so well with like an battery case a Max safe battery case again but alas we do not have one and yeah the colors are oh yeah what's about the size and weight here um so you can see the screen uh specs are the same pretty much uh what apple does not say is one nit minimum brightness on the regular 15 so that could actually be uh improved whether through software or through some kind of new display controller um camera slow motion front it's interesting they didn't like despite obviously having a chip that would have the same image signal processor they are now deliberately withholding like more Pro stuff uh like more than ever despite having the same processor like I know the cameras are technically different but there was still opportunity to give us more Pro capability inside the camera and it's smart HDR 5 so apple does not use A8 to give us a dramatically changed algorithm when it comes to uh capabilities they just give us like slightly better sensors and then like whatever improvements there is maybe it just captures everything a lot faster which does give me a lot of Reason quite honestly to not upgrade my 15 Pro um and yeah we do get the full upgrade from Wi-Fi 6 all the way to Wi-Fi 7 so Apple even skipping Wi-Fi 6c on the 16 and 16 plus suggesting it uses the same modem as the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max uh do they mention anything about like faster 5G not really I mean it's supposedly using a new model em modm like at least the Pro Models are uh let's see let's just add the 16 Pro to the mix if that changes anything uh nope it doesn't um yeah and then of course all the rest still smart HDR 5 also on the Pro Models uh so at least Apple isn't like completely artificially withholding like smart HDR 6 from the uh regular 16 just because it doesn't have a pro chip but yeah no 4K wait it 4K yeah no 4K 120 Fusion which Fusion is a word that Apple apparently really likes uh I remember when they called the fusion drive on the the HDD and the SSD combination on the 2012 IMAX Fusion drive so but yeah no proris 4K video recording is 4K 120 with external recording no log video recording no Academy color encoding system again you can argue that technically they don't have the same sensors on those devices but this is this artificial software limitation uh this has nothing to do with the A8 Pro having capabilities that the A8 doesn't have I would be shocked if the A8 Pro is actually a different die than the uh A8 it might be but I would be shocked if it was it would be a very inefficient utilization of tsmc's second generation 3 nanometer node and 3E um so yeah again not too many changes on the regular 16 models which does mean we can basically jump to the 16 and 16 Pro uh and let's see how it all uh aligns here um the first iPhone design for Apple intelligence of course uh we got the new Siri animation with the Slimmer bezels looking absolutely red we have the new camera control that's obviously color matched to the titanium here we got the a18 pro that the most notable improvement over the a17 pro thing that I have seen was uh its ability to process uh rage racing at twice the speed um a huge leap in battery life game on so let's see how those things uh compare because Apple didn't give like super hard specs during the actual event so there is grade five titanium again uh a lot of the companies that have started using titanium as a response to Apple doing it are using significantly lower gray titanium which doesn't make them necessarily that much worse because a different titanium alloy can result in the titanium maybe being a little softer which can have benefits for stuff like bending uh but yeah apple definitely is using the most premium materials here uh they're calling it a refin microblasted finish so now we have like uh the gold here um or desert titanium which again we do not have matching colors between the Apple watch and the iPhone we have 20% better sustained performance with the um M4 iPad Pro they deliberately talked about 20% better heat dissipation I wonder like 20% better performance when they said the chip is 20% more efficient makes me wonder just how much better the cooling system is and what like they used for performance metrics maybe the GPU isn't that much more efficient but uh but the cooling then helps because with the CPU that those metrics wouldn't make too much sense so there's a 100% recycled aluminum thermal substructure uh B glass optimization that further dissipate heat it's interesting Apple did mention like uh um what what was it like uh like the better like the more advanced like cooling pads directly on the processor but they mentioned it only for the pros we also know of course the battery has like the new metal casing so it would be interesting to see how that that all plays out once you combine those features um for striking colors uh to uh there's also the new ceramic Shield larger screens we'll get get to the tag spec soon don't worry uh and a lot of Apple intelligence stuff camera control here um again we have talked about it leading up to in rumors interesting how apple is really highlighting 4K 120 because you also basically can capture it outside of just slowmo and just later on uh turn it into slow-mo video so that's definitely a nice change uh the audio mix feature um inframe only captures the voices of the people on camera even if people off camera are talking during the recording that's some Advanced Audio processing Studio make voices sound like you're recording in a professional studio with sound dampening walls uh I hope they will give some of those capabilities to external microphones uh um uh ban joining saying a lot of times that you missed the iPhone se4 bro please don't spam the chat uh I understand that uh I will read your message you don't have to write it again and again I understand that many of us wanted an sc4 especially given or at least like a big price reduction for the current sc4 which is still like $430 but yeah definitely like we are looking forward to that iPhone 14 design OLED screen 48 megapixel potentially A8 Plus 8 megapixel or maybe a77 Plus 8 megapixel uh se4 it would be quite cool so thank you badan for joining the chat I fully understand uh wanting the4 but that's coming sometime next year maybe spring or summer uh we'll of course get more rumors about that from the likes of Mark German uh and the last mode is uh cinematic capture all of the voices around you and consolidate consolidate them to the front of the screen um which is cool but that's definitely not something that I would know how to properly utilize uh all the new camera stuff where is the A8 itself I want to focus on that specifically um is there like a big popup the way there was for a 17 Pro okay new 16 core neural engine is faster and more efficient new 6 core GPU gives you in hand graphics performance Apple also mentioned it having faster memory bandwidth um nearly 20% increase in total system memory band with they said the memory itself is 177% faster so I assume some of it is the cash where it's just like rounding up and a new six core GPU um with like versus the five core version on the a18 new six core CPU so again no additional efficiency course no additional performance course no change in like core ratio it's still 2 plus 4 uh so that's interesting oh Ben V saying you were hoping for more exclusive AI features well let's be honest all AI features that we have gotten thus far are for the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max I think it would kind of actually suck if Apple made AI features exclusive to the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max just from a pro consumer standpoint and they mentioned that it has like still like 35 tops so you aren't even getting the kind of neural engine performance uplift that would really be necessary to justify any of it they did talk about uh visual visual intelligence I wonder if that's in any way exclusive to the a18 devices uh but I'll look it up as we go along uh but thank you Ben ven for joining the chat of course um so uh two times faster GPU 60 60% faster over the A14 chip uh let's look over the fully enabled uh uh a15 chip uh 50% faster GPU 40% faster CPU and versus the 15 Pro Max you'll find that it has 20% faster GPU again Apple did point two times faster rate racing and 15% faster CPU which does make sense if if you align it with dm4 chip it's probably clocked at like 4.1 GHz or something like that and uh that makes sense uh I couldn't believe when they said they would bring sleep apet to series 9 yeah series 9 Ultra 2 really really good Pro actual Pro consumer stuff uh and Zu boyo finally joining live stream for tracing gpus is always much faster than the first generation we saw it with rdna uh 3 versus even rdna 2 we saw it with uh RTX 3000 versus RTX 2000 and it seems like it's coming true here as well A7 Pro was the first Apple chip with Hardware accelerated rade tracing and now apple is doubling that performance which of course means with a 20% faster GPU overall right that does leave us with like 80% better like uh um uh uh versus the raster uplift the rate tracing uplift is just significantly High higher like 70% or so U Ben Vin saying you got 15 Pro Max today for half the price for 6 months by your carrier I think that's absolutely a wonderful deal I think that makes a lot of sense to be honest because uh I'm probably keeping my 15 Pro Max I'm not even sure without Apple intelligence how much sense it makes for me to even buy the 16 Pro Max to review it maybe if I can maybe if I pre-order like uh I believe it's on Thursday and I can get it right away on the 20th I'll obviously accept it the pre-order but if I cannot I'll probably just going to like if it's coming if I get it like two weeks after everyone else like the real reviewers I'll I'll probably just react along with you guys to like real reviews and stuff uh the one thing that I would have loved to order uh Beyond airpods Pro uh 3 of course uh would have been a new fine ven generation of accessories but that just didn't happen which is quite crazy um up to four more hours of battery life Wow that's actually pretty good so uh versus the 15 Pro Max oh my God uh yeah that's four hours more across both devices uh and of course if you're willing to get a larger model like upgrade from a 15 Pro to a 16 Pro Max it's 10 hours more that's all pretty crazy let's actually go into the comparison sheet here um because I believe that probably is the most exciting thing right now for us to witness let's just put the regular 15 Pro here um of course we do still have natural Titanium with a different actual like glass Look to it uh which I like the new one more uh White um the white looks less warm the black on the new one is more black which is very much appreciated and desert titanium uh versus blue titanium which is the one that I have uh they're cooking with battery life this year yeah really really great battery life makes you wonder how great the battery life would be if they gave like the regular models ltpo right like even if without promotion can you imagine how crazy that would get uh of course the larger screens let's start actually with the screens it's okay 23 hours of video playback okay so the USB 3 is still uh 20 uh it's still 10 gbits per second they mention faster USB 3 during the keynote but that refer to faster versus the regular models um um so we still have the fusion camera system they do not okay In the comparison side they do not mention if it's larger or not we do have like the newer video capabilities yes we do have also the faster wireless charging um which the capacities are the same as last year that makes sense uh the the screen brightness is the same I wonder if it's just better sustainable at this point uh and when you look at the actual screen size you see that uh it it makes sense it's the same pixel density a larger screen uh still promotion stuff like that I wonder if apple is just using the increased efficiency of a newer OLED panel to just boost battery life they could have gone crazy and given you like 2,500 2,600 nits Peak brightness but they're like you know what how about we just better sustain 2000 how about we make your device cooler while it reaches 2000 and how about we give you longer battery life still across the same brightness ranges while if they boosted battery life to something like 2600 they would have been a good chance that like while sure during regular uh watching it might have still been like oh oh better battery life but then a lot of people wouldn't really feel it because they would still like manually boost the brightness as much as they can Travis Foster I don't think I've actually seen you before uh saying I really believe protective case Innovation is more important than these updates well then you will be very disappointed to know that we are not getting newer cases uh and like no successor to find involving companies keep adding Tech and beautiful phones that we never get to see because they're in the case well that is partially true a lot of people still wear them without a case and don't forget some of the be the bestselling recent accessories for Apple well I say recent I believe they've been around since all Mac save iPhones are the clear case uh iPhones um uh Travis saying to you to make a purchase World while you would need to see your phone well that's where the clear case kind of comes in or you just well you're you're saying it that way but it's not fully Fair because this device does these devices do feature like titanium chassis which is pretty Advanced on the back it's a little bit differently optimized than ceramic Shield because ceramic Shield obviously Apple doesn't want it to scratch because that's what you look at this is why it's hard this is why Apple probably is a little more willing to expect accept it to crack rather than scratch then the back is more optimized for crack resistance rather than scratch resistance and I do think it's still a decently well protected device um uh Travis fer you wouldn't agree that the case innovation has been stagnant for 15 years well that's no I wouldn't agree the the question is what cases are you looking at because you still have companies like spyon and I myself use pitaka which is an aramite fiber uh case um I often take my iPhone out of it when using it at home I would definitely not say that it has been completely stagnant over 15 years like very very durable cases maybe we haven't really increased durability that much but we have made those cases a lot thinner cheaper more comfortable to hold um and yeah like leather or silicon cases have not gotten better because their focus is just on very basic scratch and crack protection it's not really about like dropping your device from an airplane or something like that uh stong saying this is not Gen 2 epic fail Apple I don't know what you refer to because um what would be Gen 2 a lot of the things we are looking at are like gen 1819 at this point um so we cannot see the like exact camera sizes here uh Travis saying I'm not trying to debate or be a jerk I just think that space has to improve immensely well that's kind of the point though right uh you don't have to be a jerk to have your own opinion uh or what to have something that you care about I absolutely don't disagree age with hoping that uh cases could be like like like let's say you could get like a clear case but it's actually like super duper protective right uh maybe it's glass or something like that uh Angelica joining the chat giving me respect for us streaming over three hours yeah we are three and a half hours in but yeah Travis that wasn't really like a negative attack on you I'm just trying to tell you that there are limitations to physics and this is what lot of people just refuse to like not understand but when they doing like consumer Behavior they still want the best and they want the best for least amount of money and to me like you at some point you just have to tell yourself well like I can get a very good protective case but if it's a very good protective case it will never be as cool as just your naked device M8 tte um I think I haven't seen you in a while but I vaguely remember your name are you going to install the iOS 18 RC you're installing right now yeah but uh I have installed th far every beta going is actually smaller but that's because we know from the leak specs is that the battery capacity increase on the pro Max is smaller uh than on the pro and uh the pro also gets the 5x telephoto which we know is actually heavier than the 3x which of course the 15 Pro Max already had the 5x telephoto and the 16 Pro Max is keeping the same 5x telephoto so that's the two main differences for the weight increase of course there could also be questions about just generally the battery Cooling and stuff but it's the new battery with the uh metal casing uh the better cooling system with more aluminum inside and it's uh on the uh Pro it's the now the inclusion of a 5x telephoto and I TT saying oh damn nice I didn't want the bad battery life probably will still get it uh yeah battery life is really great if somebody really wants to upgrade specifically for battery life that's really your year like I wouldn't even expect the 17 generation to boost battery life unless like apple does something crazy and jumps to like two nanometers or something like that um but yeah guys thank you so so much for making this a lively Lively live chat I love answering your questions uh uh and uh of course I is the cameras and Apple hasn't actually like doesn't put too much detail here again the telephoto I wish they would have like maybe found a way to improve the aperture maybe given it a slightly larger sensor it's a 12 megapixel with 1.12 micronized pixels that's slightly underwhelming again it works pretty well on the 15 Pro Max versus the competition that it had last year but now that the for example the pixel 9 pro has introduced a much better telephoto camera I don't know how well that works so let me just jump to the iPhone 16 Pro and let me have a look wow that's a long long load for this uh and let me jump to its text specs again we see all the new colors which I actually really like we see the capacities the larger screens uh screen brightness the basics about the a18 so we have a 48 megapixel Fusion a 24 mm that's the same F 1.78 that's the same second generation sensor shift Optical image stabilization that's I believe the same um but they did mention that it has a new sensor during the event because we know that Apple was supposed to go from a 1 by 1.2 28 in sensor to a 1x 1.14 uh I wonder if they like they never bring up sensor sizes specifically here but uh that would be very interesting to like that this is missing so I'll just go to like the full website I guess and see uh and see how it's uh analyzed over here um there's the camera control audio mix where can I actually see the individual cameras new 48 megapixel Ultra wide yep that adds a second 48 megapixel camera to the Pro Camera the new 48 megapix Ultra wide has a more advanced quad pixel sensor it seems like the sensor is actually that much larger though um because they would have mentioned uh they would have mention that it's like better at low light I think uh so maybe it's only better in like good lighting conditions where you can do like uh maybe like wait can you do 24 megapixels on the ultra white actually uh all very interesting detail dets to know 48 megapixel ultrawide uh they do not call it Fusion so I but you can uh uh capture high resolution photos in like native 48 megapixel resolution so that's definitely nice um and as I can see now most people who have done live streams before the event have actually stopped at this point um but we we are still going strong we're checking out uh uh everything that we can guys let me know what kind of questions you have because a lot of the stuff might actually have to be like like the details might actually have to come uh from Apple to like news sites and stuff like that um so yeah you can take 48 megapixel Pro raw but they do not say that you can capture 24 megapixels by default uh more zoom choose your photographic style wait Did they really not highest quality video did they really not mention the sensor like just getting improved a light press That's all just camera control enabled by the new 48 megapixel Fusion camera with second generation quad pixel sensor and our powerful a pro chip iPhone 16 Pro lets you record 4K 120 FPS Dolby Vision in video mode or slowmo okay nice I've already talked about the audio mixing stuff uh yeah they actually they do not specifically talk too much about uh the new main sensor that's interesting let me go to like here and what they have to say all iPhone 16 models support Wi-Fi 7 we've already known that um iPhone 16 Pro Models Amy that's something you called out way more than the 15 Pro Models the weight increase of the 16 Pro versus the 15 Pro being more significant of course and the weight increase of the 16 Pro Max versus the 15 Pro Max apple beads brand debutes new cases for iPhone 16 lineup okay that's crazy uh fine woven cases are discontinued and now we are to silicon and uh plastic so crazy NTS 16 Pro Max absolutely insane battery life it up to 33 hours if we actually go to like the comparison page here again which unfortunately doesn't have as many details as I would like so in terms of battery life for one let's look at the camera a pro camera system it's interesting that they don't call this like a fusion system even though it does all the fusion stuff that they've talked about here um yeah 29 hours versus 33 hours so definitely definitely an interesting increase here to see and when we look at something like the 13 Pro Max which a lot of people saw it as kind of the battery champ officially rated at 28 which is of course cool because now you can get battery life as good as that on a non-max Model [Music] um so let's see what oh yeah we have all those developer beta releases we do have the confirmation of faster Max save um Vision os2 blah blah all that software stuff so do they mention stuff like camera systems here no they do not well they cannot mention stuff that Apple didn't officially confirm during the event so that at least makes sense and and yeah Apple Air airpods Max they do they bring up that this doesn't have an H2 chip no they don't which yes guys by the way to anybody who didn't see my beginning of my post stream part uh airpods Mac still come with the same H1 chip they just get USBC basically and new colors it's really really quite disappointing uh yeah so the summaries are very very very much in line with what we've already talked about plenty um Apple watch Ultra 2 that's everything we've already talked about um it's interesting how they already bring you up like a comparison option right here but yeah A8 versus A8 Pro definitely will be an interesting test because Apple did bring up things like more CPU cash on the A8 Pro I have no idea how that's supposed to work uh but maybe there is like more shared cash on the 18 Pro and gets bent a little with like also the one fewer GPU cores but it's really really hard for me to make a really like uh solid uh analysis of it but yeah it's second generation ation 3 nanometer it's not n3p as some had speculated it doesn't give you extra efficiency course it doesn't dramatically uplift the amount of GPU cores but it does seem to be a new GPU architecture as we can see from its two times faster rate tracing capabilities beyond that all devices now have Wi-Fi 7 whether or not it gets like 5G Advanced I don't know Apple doesn't like to bring up like Peak download speeds for things like 5G uh on their Tech speex website um obviously like if you have an older device especially one with a slightly degraded battery like that battery life increase will be just insane yeah and then a lot of it is just focused on efficiency cooling like a lot of quality of life stuff we do not fully know just how transformative actually will be like I still assume that the device will have to like uh like dim under extreme light and heat conditions but uh at least we know it will be better than the pr predecessor and we already know that the 15th generation was better than the 14th generation and we know that the 14th generation was better than the 13th Generation Um so at least there definitely is a lot of listening from Apple here and we have gotten rumors from Mark Gman that Apple might jump to a vapor chamber heat sink on the 17 Pro Max but that remains to be seen so that's about it uh we are uh uh guys if you have any more questions suggestions I'm still open to it while I'm still watching uh still reacting with you live but I will have to wrap up soon because I have been now reacting the fact that basically everything was spoiled I think the Apple Watch series 10 with it being like noticeably thinner was kind of like the most surprising thing especially with like the titanium color options uh so you saying you were trying to hit the gym tomorrow yeah uh the way I plan my day tomorrow is from work I'm actually right going to gym and then afterwards I'll uh be live streaming uh because I originally plan to make a live stream at like 600 or 700 p.m. tomorrow but now because of the PS5 Pro um I'll I'll just run from the uh from work right to the gym and do maybe like a half workout and then run but go guys if you appreciate my commitment leave like a super chat or become a channel member uh and by the way zuoo uh the last time you were on I was an apple sheep now I've been definitely cut down a little in that regard so uh it's funny to just how memories work with individual chat BS being on or not uh so the Apple Watch series 10 in my opinion a very interesting a very nice upgrade actually uh a little disappointed that Ultra 2 didn't get an upgrade but with with both Ultra 2 and series 9 getting sleep apne detection it's not actually that surprising because how much do you really gain from a slightly newer chip if you already had the better like battery life and stuff of the ultra but I think at $3.99 it's definitely a really really good value on the airpod side I actually like the new airpods um uh so what you were saying you'll be joining maybe at around 5:30 that would be very much appreciated at that point we would probably be uh either already going into more Apple stuff but if you still have some questions about the PS5 Pro I will be answering them throughout tomorrow stream and yeah haha Apple sheep I know I know um so um I'm I still think that the lineup might be a little confusing with airpods 4 but it is less confusing than it was before with like airpods 2 still in the lineup so definitely if you somebody who is like really really budget locked right like you have to get 130 or below definitely nice options there airpods Max are an absolute disaster with not even getting like a new H2 chip even apple is like labeling it as like new colors and USBC and then airpods Pro two are just proving how amazing they are how great the H2 chip is how good their battery life is even relatively to like the new airpods and getting all those new like uh licensed validated Health features really really great um uh and by like to me personally right like between my my airpods Pro 2 and my Apple watch Ultra 2 I definitely definitely upgraded at the right time whenever I did uh with the iPhone actually feels similar now again we can argue until we are blue in the face that the iPhone 16 doesn't have promotion doesn't have telephoto cameras whatever but it is in my opinion a very nice upgrade nonetheless I still think that Apple would be selling gang basts on those devices if they like reduced MSRP by 50 bucks or so even but I know they cannot really do so because next year they plan to introduce promotion in those devices and they don't want to fluctuate with the prices back and forth I think the colors are actually phenomenal this year uh a stark stark contrast and just liveliness versus the previous generation I think having a better ultra white is definitely appreciated and for most people the main camera is pretty good at 2x you still get some Zoom that is better than like iPhone 4 and Below um and of course while yes the lack of promotion sucks you still get a vibrant large screen with high brightness good HDR capabilities slim bezels and now you get action button you get uh the new camera control button so it's and and you get the Boost in battery life which is definitely something that I know a lot of people will care about even more than promotion but yes of course granted I have to agree it's definitely not the highest value phone out there Apple definitely can only afford that price because they have like created a very loyal fan base uh people are used to iOS the App Store uh they use their iPhone with Apple watch es airpods whatever so Apple definitely can keep prices1 $200 higher than they probably should be the Pro Models will uh in my opinion depend a lot on how the individual components perform like we do have the nice large larger screens with the even Slimmer bezels right but we do not really have explicitly higher brightness specs so it will be very interesting to see um how that actually performs if the newer cooling systems if the potentially more efficient uh screen technology results in much higher sustain screen brightness even if the peak brightness is technically the same a promotion 120 htz variable refresh rate capture button still of course keeping the action button introduced on the 15 Pro Camera capabilities will really come down to how do the new sensors camera system systems perform in real life Apple mentioned that the new image signal processor on the a18 handles up to twice as much data they have like uh more efficient faster video encoders and stuff like that so that will be very interesting to me but uh since they haven't like from the ground app like changed the algorithms like it's still like smart HDR 5 to me it would be very interesting to see how the raw Hardware improvements which is in contrast to the uh only processor improvements on the 15 Pro stack up to the brand new HDR algorithms that we got last year if uh just the new sensors help along if I8 maybe still does more Magic on top of a of uh smart HDR 5 so that will be very interesting um of course the cooling Beyond just the screen will also impact the chip the chip here being very interesting because Apple isn't advertising too big of increases mostly talking about how it benefits Apple intelligence uh so it will be very interesting to see how real world performance actually gets impacted by the higher efficiency by the new GPU architecture that gives you like twice the rate tracing capabilities uh how uh the new memory bandwidth uh benefits the system uh all those things that are very very difficult to evaluate just from like a teex speack perspective like even with last year's smart HDR 5 you could instantly show some like side by-side photos where smart HDR 5 just gave you a much Superior experience uh this year that is not quite the case but that will also be just less and less the case as the technology matures with every year so yeah definitely though I have to say I think it's a great upgrade overall because of the battery life so whatever happens with like raw performance or sustained performance Peak brightness sustained brightness I have to say the fact that Apple actually is pulling off like those kind of big battery life increases despite a big like no jump like they aren't going from 3 nanometer to 2 nmet or something like that that is very very promising to me and those are my impressions of uh the Apple event the it's glow Time Event the iPhone 16 event before I log off I wanted to thank you all for joining uh especially those in the end who also made
