Final Round Highlights | ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open

it proved to be an exciting final round at the isps hander women Scottish open coming for the third year in a row from dun Donald Lynx an event Co sanction between the ladies European and LPGA tours Lydia Co not quite producing the performance she did in Paris a week earlier the winner of the gold medal the Hall of Famer made a good start but in the end had to settle for a round of 74 that left her in the pack at five under par signs that jinyan Co is getting back to her best the former world number one had a week of some real highs like this approach shot to the seventh but not able to see it through all four days round of 71 that left her at seven under par and in a share of sixth place with Gabby Ruffles Charlie Hall had her best finish on the lpj tour this season fifth place in the end for the English player with a round of 73 she finished at eight under par Megan K for a while this week looked like she might be the one to beat but a putter that just wouldn't quite produce the goods over the weekend this Eagle putt nicely judged leaving her TA in Birdie on her way to a round of 74 Shar third at 9 under par with a yaka fway who shot the equal best round of the final day a 68 her first event as a major Champion nine andart in that third place alongside Megan K silver medal last week in Paris for Esther henselite second in Scotland the German the closest Challenger down the stretch to the champion Lauren cogin with a round of 70 that left her 11 underp par but Lauren cogin who led by one shot overnight got off to a nervy start couple of early boies but after that she produced some fantastic golf certainly around the greens as well that set her up for a birdie at the par five 14th she then made a wonderful birdie at 15 and every time she looked like she might be in a little bit of bother like here at 17 she had the short game to make sure no one got near to her she single puted the previous six greens coming to the 18th so why not one more for good measure a wonderful way to seal the victory her second LPGA Tour title in 21 days after waiting 103 events for her breakthrough win with it she will seal a guaranteed spot at the solheim cup as well that winning feeling she's getting used to it her husband John there amongst those to spray the champagne Esther henselite having to settle for second place again cogin at 15 underpar with four rounds in the 60s lifting another trophy a second win in three events confirmation it was a four-shot win in the end for the American over Esther henselite Nuri uros with a good weekend finishing in the top 10 [Music]
