ANOTHER WEATHER ALERT FOR TOMORROW, BRITTANY RAINEY, TELL US MORE ABOUT THAT. >> THIS EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING WE'VE BEEN TRACKING IN OUR WESTERN COUNTIES THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS, THAT HAS EXPANDED EASTWARD AND THAT DOES INCLUDE DALLAS AND TARRANT COUNTIES, ALL OF THE METROPLEX. WE'RE GOING TO SEE FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURES UP TO 112 DEGREES TOMORROW. THAT HIGH PRESSURE IS GOING TO SHED MORE OVERHEAD, INCREASED HUMIDITY. THAT'S WHY IT'S SO DANGEROUSLY HOT TOMORROW. EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT UNDER THAT EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING, MAYBE YOU'RE FURTHER OFF TO THE EAST AROUND SULFUR SPRINGS, ATHENS, CORSICANA, THAT'S WHERE WE HAVE THAT HEAT ADVISORY FOR FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURES UP TO 108 DEGREES. SO NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN NORTH TEXAS OR REALLY JUST TEXAS IN GENERAL, YOU DO NEED TO REMEMBER THOSE HEAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. THIS IS NOT GOING TO TAKE VERY LONG FOR HEATSTROKE AND HEAT EXHAUSTION TO SET IN. FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURES TOMORROW, WE'RE GOING TO BE WAKING UP, 7:00 A.M., FEELING LIKE THE MIDDAY UPPER 80s IN DFW. FELT NICE THIS MORNING, BUT THAT'S GOING TO BE CHANGING TOMORROW. THAT MUGGINESS WILL BE AROUND WITH US. ALL AROUND THE METROPLEX WE WILL BE FEELING LIKE THE 70s TO START OFF OUR DAY. ALREADY BY LUNCHTIME FEELING CLOSE TO 101 TO 102 AROUND DFW AND THEN DURING THAT PEAK HEATING WE ARE GETTING HEAT INDICES AROUND 110 TO EVEN 112 AROUND GRAHAM, EASTERN AREAS WHERE WE HAVEN'T BEEN QUITE AS HOT THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS, EVEN YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BE AROUND 105 TO 108. WE HIT 101 DEGREES, THAT'S NOW 22 DAYS THIS YEAR AT 100 PLUS. TYPICALLY WE SEE ABOUT 20 DAYS, WE'RE GOING TO ADD ONE, MAYBE TWO, MORE DAYS THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEK. YOU'LL NOTICE OUR TEMPERATURES ARE STARTING TO DROP OFF JUST A COUPLE OF DEGREES AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK, GETTING BACK INTO THE MID 90s. WE'RE KEEPING AN EYE ON AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVING IN FROM THE GULF MOVING RIGHT INTO SOUTH TEXAS AS WE GET INTO MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. TUESDAY WE'LL START TO SEE SOME OF THOSE RAIN CHANCES TRYING TO MAKE IT INTO NORTH TEXAS. WEDNESDAY I THINK WE HAVE A SLIGHTLY BETTER CHANCE. A LOT OF MOISTURE IS GOING TO STAY SOUTH OF OUR AREA. DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH WE'RE GOING TO SEE ANY WIDESPREAD RAIN FROM THIS. I MEAN, LOOK AT THE RAINFALL FORECAST FOR THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS. MAYBE UP TO ABOUT 0.5 AN INCH IN SOME OF OUR EASTERN AREAS. WE COULD EVEN GET SOME OF THAT RAIN TOMORROW WITH A DISTURBANCE DURING THE FIRST PART OF OUR DAY. BUT OUT WEST IT'S STILL VERY DRY. WE CONTINUE THAT ELEVATED FIRE THREAT. WE'RE LIKELY GOING TO SEE IT FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. SO TRY AND AVOID ANY ACTIVITIES THAT COULD SPARK A FIRE. BUT HERE'S THAT FIRST ALERT FUTURECAST FOR TOMORROW. LOTS OF SUNSHINE THROUGHOUT DFW, AN ISOLATED SHOWER THE FIRST HALF OF OUR DAY IN EAST TEXAS, AND THEN AS WE HEAD INTO WEST TEXAS FOR THE EVENING HOURS COULD EVEN GET AN ISOLATED SHOWER POPPING UP.
