hey guys what's going on James here and in this video today we're going to be talking about Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie running back Bucky Irving and whether or not he will get more playing time as the season progresses possibly as soon as this upcoming week versus the Detroit Lions because in week one against the Washington commanders Bucky Irving looked pretty darn good against a Washington commanders defense that has guys like donon Payne guys like Jonathan Allen in that interior defensive line Bucky Irving still posted nine carries for 62 yards a long of 31 rushing yards 6.9 yards per carry whereas Rashad white posted 15 carries for 31 yards good for 2.1 yards per carry a long of 15 so if you take away that 15 yard carry uh still not great but even if you did take away that 31 yard carry from Bucky Irving he was still averaging around eight yards per carry All Things Considered so or sorry four yards per carry all things considered so I was thinking about it I thought huh I I wonder if Bucky Irving will continue to get used more as a Pure Runner in this combination of Rashad white and Bucky Irving as a Duo because look Rashad white as a receiving back in this game against the commanders was very good he caught all six of his targets for 75 yards his longest reception on the day was a 30 32 yard catch so Rashad white showcased fantastic ability as a receiving option Bucky Irving by the way had three targets two catches for 14 yards so both running backs got a good amount of work but I am going to be curious to see how these snaps divvy up going forward right because Buck gving is a guy who's looked good in training camp looked good in the preseason and now one regular season game in he looked good again as well and look no disrespect to Rashad white I love Rashad white I love what he offers the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a runner as a receiver this could very well be a situation where you you just see both guys get this very similares workload going forward where maybe it's 15 carries for rad nine for Bucky Irving 10 for Bucky Irving whatever it may be on a week- toe basis but I do wonder if there is going to come a point where if Rashad white continues to not be as great as a Pure Runner bit more of a receiving type of back and a blocking type of back and Bucky Irving looks better as a Pure Runner maybe these roles flip maybe it's Bucky Irving getting 15 carries in a game and Rashad white only getting 10 it's going to be something that's very interesting to pay attention to but I did just want to kind of give a quick video talking about Bucky Irving because I thought he was great in week number one now that isn't to say that Rashad white was bad as I said Rashad white was fantastic as a receiving back as well but it is something I want to pay attention to going forward I feel like it is important to pay attention to going forward as well because look Bucky Irving had a great start here to his regular season and I'm going to be curious to see if that continues what do you guys think do you want to see Buck Irving get more snaps possibly even over Rashad white here as these regular season games progress let me know your thoughts and opinions I'd love to hear them guys thanks you so much for watching this video hope youall enjoyed as always guys I'll see you all in the next video or the next live stream got a lot of fun content coming up here on the channel including my special for 20,000 subscribers stay tuned for that as well but guys thank you so much for watching hope you all enjoyed we'll see you all on the next video or the next live stream but until then and as always guys goodbye for now in go buck
