Medfinder Discount & What's your End Goal? Zepbound Week 21 Vlog

Week 21 Tirzepatide Journey [Music] hey everybody and welcome back to my channel I'm Jen at ketosis mom and I have a lot to go over with you today first thing up I do want to remind everybody this is a sponsored video today by Ino health medfinder and I spoke to them last week to get all of you a special discount you guys think I'm not paying attention into what you're saying down in the comments and things that you're asking me to look into and I want you all to know that I am so make sure that you're commenting away down below on things that you want me to look into things hey have you tried this have you seen it because that's what led to this video and a discount for all of you I am starting my 5 milligram this week on Z bound and finally moving back up from the 2.5 I am currently on my week 21 so we're going Today's Agenda to go through all of that we're going to look at lp1 in the news and we're also going to talk about end points for this medication today in this video so let's get started so my surroundings today may look a little different to everyone I I am at family's house right now and I'm on vacation coming to you straight from here anyway I'm going to go over what my results and what my weight for week 20 were as well as show you my 5 mgram injection towards the end of this video remember that down at the bottom there is a content timestamp if you would like to skip ahead or skip around feel free to do so right down there I'm going to get straight to what most of you are here for today and that is a discount with medfinder a lot of you were putting down In depth about Medfinder service in the comments on multiple weeks asking had I used it have I heard of it have I seen it before especially when I was talking about all of the FDA drug short and how I was spending hours at a time making phone calls myself to all of these different pharmacies and I want to make sure that I clear something up because I did do a YouTube short and I went ahead and posted it yesterday so you guys could have a little insight and a little like preview of what was coming today as far as with medfinder but I want to make sure I'm very clear with this medfinder is not here to find a compounded version for you if you guys are looking for a compounded version they're everywhere medfinder is here to help you find your name brand drug prescription so I use Z bound they would be looking for Zep Bound for me in my location where I live I did talk to Peter yes I did I emailed and also got on a zoom call with him and we had about an hourong discussion of me asking all kinds of different questions to him about how this works uh what kind of drugs is he typically finding you know how are you getting a message letting you know where to find it are they assisting with the prescription transfer are they not doing that yet are they going to get an app I had a lot of questions for him and he was absolutely wonderful and I asked him can you give my audience a discount he he agreed to give you guys this code it's going to be for 10% off through August 30th of 2024 now based on how this goes he'll decide whether or not he's going to extend that for you all and get us another code after August or not here's a couple of reasons that I think medfinder is going to be very important yes we've already covered how a lot of these drugs might start popping up and be available for Medicare uh relatively soon we goie is already now approved for Medicare patients A lot of people are still paying for these out of their pocket anyway you have a lot of insurances like Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Express Scripts that are putting additional requirements on these drugs in order for you to get them through your insurance and get them covered through your insurance correct everyone knows this there might be new ones Rolling Out Here There and Everywhere there's a lot of people that are still trying to find the drugs even though the FDA shortage list says that they're available I personally can attest to this it says that the 2.5 in the five is no longer listed in shortage however where I live I'm still spending a lot of time calling around trying to find this you all know that I've been using Weight Watchers Clinic yes they have a care team that is supposed to be making these phone calls for you I personally have not had any luck with that Weight Watchers Clinic sequence Clinic care team being able to find things a lot of times they will just ask for a zip code and then they're looking within that zip code however where I live there's a ton of zip codes just all around where I live I personally know a lot of the ones that I would call that are my go-to places I also know that there's certain pharmacies that it cost me less even with the savings card yeah less even with the savings card if I can find it there so one of the questions that I asked Peter was I said okay what do people have to give you in order for you to go find their medicine for them yes he does he did say that they're going to look and start within your immediate radius within about 10 to 20 miles of where you live most of the time they do have a by the way they have a 99% success rate of finding your medicine for you and he said that they find it within that small radius of where you live the majority of the time now my question to that was hey if I say I want to pick this up at a Sam's Club are you going to then go find all of the Sam's Clubs around my entire area and only call those this medfinder service is basically going to do whatever you the customer customer and patient wants done if you know that it costs less for you to get your medication from Sam's Club versus getting it from Walgreens or CVS then yes they're going to try to help you find that for you first if they cannot find that for you maybe it's a Sam Club 45 minutes from where you live great they found it they will send you a text message that says we found it right here you can then get your prescription sent from your current Pharmacy over over to that Pharmacy and then go pick it up you can also call your doctor's office and ask them to send it over as well I did ask Peter if in the future they're going to start offering a service that will do that transfer for the customer they are interested in hearing thoughts on this and whether or not the audience you all would be interested in having that I personally said I would if I didn't have to go and try to contact Weight Watchers Clinic doctor and say hey now instead of sending it to this Sam's Club can you send it over to this Sam's Club if I had someone on the back end that found it knew where my other one was called that Sam's Club had them switch it over to the other Sam's Club and then all I have to do is go pick it up yeah I would probably pay somebody to do that for me I spent over three and 1 half hours in one day before calling around to all of the different pharmacies all around me everywhere I could think of of everywhere that was on Google trying to find my zet bound prescription because I did not want to switch to Ovi and I did not want to go over into a compound I wanted to stay on the medication and the therapeutic that I was on and continue with it so I was willing to put in that time and effort however what's really great about medfinder is you can get packages with them I will tell you that the more packages that you get obviously the cheaper the price goes right so if one for instance would be this however if you get six then your price gets cut down to this additionally now with the code ketosis mom 10 you can get an additional 10% off of that three package and the six package over there as well these do not expire for you to be able to use these so just because you might be able to find your medicine right now in another 3 or 4 months 6 months down the road that might not be the casee anymore and you're stuck pulling your hair out trying to figure out where am I going to get my medicine where is it how far am I going to have to drive and I get that for some people who live in bigger cities it's not as prevalent of a problem as it might be for people who aren't in such a big city or maybe the cities are worse maybe you have more concentrated people and less pharmacies within the cities to be able to locate these either way this is not just for glp1 medications let's say you get put on a cancer treatment down the road and you can't find the cancer treatment because there's a shortage of that you can also have them find this if your child is on uh behavioral you know disorder like they're on rellin or Aderall that you can't find anywhere either you can put that in and let Med find or go find that for you this to me is a huge timesaver I've seen it on a lot of the forums that people are using medfinder that they're finding it for them right away which is fantastic and the best part is if they cannot find it for you if I put in hey I want zap bound 5 milligrams and I need to pick it up this week if they cannot find it for me I do not get charged they're not going to take a number away from my package because they did not find it for me so it's kind of a win-win situation here you're not going to get Char if they don't find it and you're only going to get a piece of your package removed if they do and you're going to know exactly where to go to go get it if also I did ask this question to Peter as well I said if you tell someone where it's located but before they can get their prescription changed over to be able to go get it it is then gone are you still going to charge them and he told me it's really kind of on a per patient thing you know obviously ly if you are on vacation and you're not going to be home for another week you're not going to want to put in hey I need you to find this for me right now because it's going to be a week later before you try to go pick it up and it could be gone by then so it's really a caseby case basis and you really want to make sure that you only put this in when you're ready to go get it and you are going to pay for it or your insurance is available to pay for it so for the insurance coverage folks like me I would not put hey medfinder I want you to go find my Z bound 5 milligram right now for me if my insurance is not going to cover it for me for an additional week I'm going to wait until okay it can now be covered or I'm going to be prepared to just pay for it out of my pocket now there's a lot of Medicare patients right now that are paying for it out of their pocket that it does not matter when they find it and when they go pick it up that they could text and say Hey whenever you find find this closest to me at one of these locations please let me know immediately cuz I'm going to go pick it up you can also do that as well I see this medfinder service through inedo Health as beneficial to basically everyone whether you're getting it covered by insurance or you're paying for it out of your pocket honestly I feel like the people who are paying for it out of their pocket are probably going to benefit more from this because as soon as it's found they can run go get it right then so I'm going to show you guys a quick clip from medfinder that I created for them that I'm going to be showing on multiple of my different platforms just so that everybody can take advantage of this really great offer that they're offering all of you I Link + Code for Medfinder Savings cannot tell you all how many times I've heard the story I finally got my prescription I finally got approved and now I cannot locate the medicine it's more common than you think I myself have sat for multiple hours at my home missing out time with my kids my family missing out on even things that I need to do around the house work trying to find my prescription now you don't have to miss out on anything all you need is medfinder I'm partnering with medfinder to give all of my audience 10% off using this link so that you yourself can grab as many as you want all the way through August 30th of 2024 with that 10% off what Ino medf finer is going to be doing for you is they are going to find your medication for you at the nearest location around where you specifically are located one of the worst things that I was doing is I was constantly looking at this FDA shortage list and seeing that it was updated and it was available for my specific prescription however I could not find it at any of the pharmacies around me a lot of the pharmacies around where I specifically am located have also decided to stop carrying the medication because they simply cannot field all of the phone calls that they're getting from all of the different patients who are trying to obtain it right now Ino medfinder has a trust pilot of 4.9 and they have lot of reviews if you want to go check that out make sure that you are buying a package of these our drug shortages are definitely not over for our glp1 medications this is not just for glp1 medications it is for any medication that you personally need to find and you don't want to go sit down for hours at a time trying to find it yourself go live your life have fun with your family enjoy the season and let medfinder find it for you A big thank you to Peter for offering this St to everyone who's watching this right now and I hope that everybody can take full advantage of it I myself am going to just go ahead and get probably either the three or sixpack because I know I'm going to be on the 5 milligram for a while and I know that now that it's finally available and it's not listed in shortage that there's a lot of people that are moving from the 2.5 up to the five as well uh it might go back in shortage so I personally would rather just go sit with my family and enjoy time with my family and get a text message that says hey we found this for you instead of me going and sitting and being angry on a on a phone call and telling my my kids I'm on a call go away I got to find this um it's very stressful for me personally that's my type of Personality that when I can't find things right away when I'm looking for it I get very frustrated and very flustered and then it increases my stress levels and that's that's really not good for anybody regardless anyway I know that I shouldn't let it get to me the way that it does but it does and that's just me so I'm going to talk about another topic that was brought up last week I had asked everybody to put down in the comments below and you can do this every single week just so you guys know put in the comments down below different topics that you would love for me to cover Services you would love for me to look at products you would love for me to review anything that you would like having to do with your journey I am open ears and I am here for it I love trying all the stuff and things I love contacting all the people I actually had a great conversation with Peter it was very enlightening as kind of what they're doing I even suggested to him that an app would be nice you guys know that we're super lazy if I had an app that I could just push a button like go find my medicine that would be great instead of me like waiting for a text message um but again I'm that's the super lazy version but I told him that's kind of the world that we live in now right um one of the things that someone asked me End points and Goals was to go over end points and when I say end points there's a couple of different things that people are going to think about one is they're going to think about what is your overall goal like what is your goal that you are driving towards and then once you get there you plan on either stopping or coming off of this medicine another end point that people might be talking about is what is the dosage level your tiation level that you think that you're going to be driving towards then once you meet your overall goal you will go and fall back down to that maintenance dose now when you hear maintenance dose people are using it multiple different ways I'm just going to go and tell you that some people will call a maintenance dose the dose that you are on that you're going to be on long term until you reach your weight goal okay other people are going to call the maintenance dose the dose after you have reached your goal weight the dosage that you then go back on and you stay on that long term to maintain the weight loss afterwards now there's a lot of confusion around end points and overall goals towards these glp1 Gip drugs and I understand why because if you get on any of the groups any of the forums you look at any random Youtube person who is documenting this you're going to hear everyone basically saying something different the reason you're they're saying something different is that a lot of people understand these drugs and uh feel about these drugs completely differently I have always said that I feel like these these are all very individualized medications it is very about the patient what the patient has going on what they need to get to now there's some people who are 140 lb that want to get to 120 lbs and then as soon as they do they plan on coming off the drug um I will say that's obviously likely being used off SC script use you know off the book use um there's a lot of people who really should not be on these drugs who are on these drugs and that's their own choice that's everyone's own choice of what you're taking the drug for and what your end goal is now I'm going to talk to everybody about what my end goals are and kind of what I'm driving to and then what's going to happen when I get there and I know that this is going to be very very different than some other people that you listen to you know somebody said hey there's a lady who's lost 90 PBS that still wants to lose 90 more pounds and she's already on 15 milligrams of this you know so I have very different viewpoints about titration now and the dosing Now versus when I very first started this and my understanding when I first started this now I am a very data driven person I did dig into all of the all of the clinical trials like all of the phases the phase one the phase two the phase three which is the final before it gets approved by the FDA for whatever the indicated use is that they are looking at I'm looking at all of this data I'm looking at new studies around the use of these drugs and what titration level they're using for that specifically so for instance for the sleep apnea study they did a 52 we study using tepati however it was at the 10 mgam and the 15 mgram that they were testing to show an improvement with patient sleep apnea after 52 weeks I personally do not know that I plan to ever get to a 15 mgram dosage and the reasoning behind that goes back to when I went over all these adverse side effects in the clinical trials for tpte if you go and look at that you're going to note that the lower dosages of this medicine do not have as many adverse side effects and complications as the higher dosages do I personally am also not in any Rush whatsoever to drop weight like that I have no want to lose 90 lbs in the next few months to say that I lost 90 lbs in a year I not looking to do that I have no want to do that if that happens I'm still okay with it I guess because I'm at a I'm at the lowest dose I've been on 2.5 and I'm just now starting week 21 and I'm just now back to okay we're going to move to the 5 mgram and I'll explain why we went ahead and moved to the 5 milligram towards the end of this video you'll see so I plan on staying at this 5 migr for a while like you guys are going to see me doing my ZB 5 milligram probably every video for the rest of this year if not into next year as well so my end point I've asked both of the doctors that I work with specifically for TR epetite my local endocrinologist her My Dr's viewpoints on Goals and End point for Me response was that we're going to stay on this I want you to stay on the 5 migr for as long as possible the only way you're going to move up from the 5 mgram is if in 3 months time span you are working out you're eating correctly you're on this and you still did not lose 5 lbs over a 3month time span that is the only way that endocrinologist is going to say let's move to the 7.5 mgram I personally like that response resp I also asked the same local endocrinologist what is the end goal for this because my rheumatologist also wanted to know we all know that I take centic we all know that centic makes me gain anywhere between 5 and 10 lbs every month that I take it if I'm not heavily doing things to try to combat it heavily exercising really watching what I'm eating and now also on TS appetite even doing those three things I'm still gaining weight on the centic injection that I take and this is why this is this whole end point is super individualized for me because a lot of people don't have an autoimmune disease that they are also combating and they're combating another medication that's causing that type of weight gain for them so she said if you're not losing doing all the things and you tell me I've been tracking my food I'm I've been lifting weights I've been exercising I've been taking my tepati I'm still not losing weight then we will move to 7.5 however she does not want me going above 7.5 milligrams period ever okay so that is her end point there I would remain on 7.5 milligrams even if I stopped losing weight simply to combat the centic weight gain and to kind of keep going back and forth at that 7.5 and then I would have to slowly try to continue to get things off the best that I could she basically said at the 7.5 I think that is your ceiling I'm not comfortable moving to the 10 or the 15 milligram I think that those are too high of dosage for you specifically and so for her she has said unless I can see additional data that kind of goes against some of the things I'm seeing at the 10 and 15 levels I don't think that I'm going to push you there that quickly now a couple of things that I do think are like additional things that everybody should watch this week and I Things to Watch this Week will put the link to this down below there are three different individuals I know two of them at least are doctors that are talking about this like ramp up that our doctors are putting patients through right now and how they don't necessarily agree with how quickly patients are being moved up that if you're not eating correctly if you're not working out if you're not taking your medication and you're not trying to hit all the different aspects that they're asking you to do so for instance you're also on a blood pressure medicine or a cholesterol medicine or they've specifically ask you to build more muscle in between your next visit if they you've not done all of those things that they're not going to just automatically move you up to the next level like a lot of doctors are currently doing with patients that you you need to be doing this much slower that you need to be doing it one physician even says more in like a micro dosing type thing to make sure that you can handle the next level I typically have all the side effects and all the stuff and things with different medications and so I personally my end point and my goal is to basically never even get up to that 15 if I got to the 10 I feel like that's when I personally would probably start even having having some issues or having some problems so I'm really not even wanting to get to that and so my kind of end goal is much different than other people's end goal because they're trying to get to that 10 and 15 as fast as they possibly can but they're not realizing that that could potentially give you more side effects it could also make you drop weight quicker and faster which is harder for your body to kind of recoup from and get used to as well now my other doctor that I work with over at Weight Watchers Clinic basically said I am not intending on you hitting just a weight goal and then you're done that's not my intention of this and remember that the Weight Watchers Clinic doctors are typically specialists in this field and she knows that I have the Rheumatology issues with inflammation with weight gain with the medicine that I'm taking and we've also discussed how a different medicine for my as is not really an option at this point in time if you all remember I've tried Humera I've tried Emil neither of those did anything for me and so instead of a tnf inhibitor we moved over into the J inhibitor so a jack a Janus kyes inhibitor the next levels or the next tier up of those Janus kise Inhibitors have unexplained cardiovascular events to them so people are just randomly having heart attacks that is nothing that I have any interest in moving into just because I'm gaining weight on what I'm on currently so if I can take something coinciding my centic like this Zep bound that's going to combat that weight gain get the weight that I've gained from my centic back off and then slowly lose a little more that 100% is going to be the route that I would prefer to go it's also the route that she intends on me staying on she is a little different when it goes to the 10 and the 15 milligram now she did say that would be something that would be way far down the road if I ever did need to get there she does feel that I could progress up to the 7.5 faster than what my local endocrinologist feels but she also said that I would then come back down once I hit a weight that I was comfortable with that I did not want to continue to lose any more weight now as far as that weight goal goes that's not really something that is driving me forward what's driving me forward is I can move I can exercise I feel good yes there's pounds coming off but it's coming off slowly and I'm combating my autoimmune treatment so that I can continue on with my autoimmune treatment so that that disease does not progress ress so my end goal is a little bit different my end goal is what is my maintenance dose that is going to effectively combat my centic injection where I can still healthfully lose weight at a slow pace and it might be that I don't lose a couple pounds for a couple of months but I'm still losing and that's okay now I have been 140 lbs All the sizes I have been I have have been 150 lb I've been 160 lb I've been 170 180 I've obviously gone up into the 200s I personally know that getting down to below like 155 for me looks awful like my face is sunken I look sick all the time I just look like Skin and Bones I have no interest in getting down that far person personally I felt like I was probably the healthiest looking when I was between 170 and 180 that was when I looked vibrant when I looked like I worked out when I had muscle I used to do CrossFit before I had children yeah this used to do CrossFit I did CrossFit I ate keto I was down to probably like 165 170 during that time I looked healthy that is what my personal if you're looking for a weight end goal would be however if I don't ever get down below 185 190 I'm also perfectly content with that as long as the tepati is still working with combating me continuing to gain my end goal is to stop the weight gain from my centic from Happ I'm hoping fingers crossed that I don't have to progress up to the 10 and the 15 Mig just for that to happen now since I've discussed that with everybody you're going to see people that are on this medication for three or four months and then they completely come off of it and then they start gaining the weight back then they might get back on the medication again now there are some doctors that believe in that rotation or the cycling of these drugs drugs where you're on it you come off of it for a time and my local endocrinologist does also agree with that method she did say that sometimes it's also going to be dictated by your insurance company your insurance company might say hey they're below 30 BMI they're going to have to come off with these drugs until they go back above 30 BMI for me specifically I'm on an injection that makes me gain 5 to 10 pounds a month if I'm not on something else to combat it so I'm going to probably constantly Teeter back and forth if the insurance companies do start requiring that to be for this drug as I discussed last week however there are new indications in use for this drug coming U my prediction is for zap bound specifically that or Mount jaro T appetite in general that sleep apnea will be their next approved indicated use so it will be for weight loss and sleep apnea much like we GOI is we we loss and now cardiovascular health they're going to continue to work on doing studies to try to find new indicated uses to get approved for these drugs and so hopefully I'm hoping down the road they are looking at inflammation for tepati and I'm hoping that these low dosage like 2.55 maybe a Max of 7.5 is where I will basically be staying and going kind of back and forth continually with against my centic which is my autoimmune injection I'm also hoping that at some point there might even be a drug like the retr tide that is you know a drug that's for osteoarthritis it's for maintaining your muscle loss prevention it's also the G gp1 Gip so that you can kind of make sure that you're working with your bone health working with maintaining your muscle as I continue to age as well as having something in there that can combat that centic I'm hoping that that will eventually be a drug that is also used over in the Rheumatology world to where I might one day be able to come off of the O centic because my inflammation has gone down so much and then I can just work on maintaining low inflammation with my disease specifically I have to keep my inflammation as low as possible so that my autoimmune disease does not progress and get worse that is my like ultimate main goal so you're going to see other people on YouTube that their only driving factor is their weight yes I've lost 90 lb yes I've lost 100 lb I want to lose more and they're even telling people to go ahead and push through as soon as you stop losing weight and I don't necessarily agree with as soon as you hit one month where you only lose a pound or you only lose half half a pound that that means that you should titr trate up I am a firm believer that you need to kind of do some self-reflection and think individualized have I been working out have I been eating correctly I'm taking my medication and then I'm still not getting anywhere have there been other factors have I been sick have I been on steroids have I been on antibiotics have I been stressed out are there other factors in my life that I can try to control before I just bump up my medication so I am going to go into very quickly my week 20 results and I do want Week 20 Result Updates to do a quick explanation of yes I finally agreed to move to the 5 milligrams 5 milligrams is what a lot of people will tell you is the lowest dose there is the 2.5 milligrams as well there's a lot of people who stay on 2.5 milligrams for months and months and months and months in the clinical trial we went over in the very beginning in it 4 weeks on 2.5 4 weeks on five go ahead and bump up to 7.5 that might be your maintenance dose that or tin that was how the clinical trial was structured now that I've learned a lot more about these peptides so one thing that you need to realize about peptides versus just a traditional drug right peptides are a regenerative thing so they even have peptides that you can inject into your arm if you have a pulled muscle um yeah you can go take an Advil but after you take that Advil you're going to feel great tonight and then it's still going to hurt tomorrow if you get an injection of a certain type of peptide that is for strained muscles then you might wake up tomorrow and the muscle has healed itself and you don't have any more pain anymore so this tepati is a peptide based injection and it is teaching your body to rejuvenate and to basically try to heal itself and work the way that it should be working however if you're not doing the additional things that you need to do with this drug this is not like a an a One-Stop injection and you don't have to do anything else I cannot stress like enough how much I feel like you have to be working out even if you can't physically get up and and work out and it hurts to do it get out and try and walk you can you can start by walking to your mailbox you can start by walking to the stop sign and back and trying to just add a little bit more each time try to move as much as you possibly can I get that it's the summer I get that it's hot I get that it's really hard but you know what there's different things that I use that make me sweat even more because if I know that I'm going to walk outside and become soup from the heat why not Target where I'm sweating and make that sweat work for me better okay so week 20 results for me it was my centic week I took my centic injection before I came here now I am weighing myself on a different scale than what I do at home however I knew that I was going to gain because it's centic week I have gained up into today 3.8 lbs on my centus injection that I took from this past Friday so from Friday until Wednesday I am up 3.8 3.8 lbs from that Centex injection today and I'll show you the video later I did take my my 5 mgram zet bound injection so next week you guys are going to get a little more idea of how the 5 milligrams is going to combat the weight gain from the centic so my next week results when I come back and tell you guys okay here's how week 21 went you're going to be able to see a little bit better hopefully I'm not expecting much I'm going to be honest with you guys I think that I'm going to have to be on the 5 migr for a while before I really start seeing there's not a a 3 to 5 lb instant weight gain with my centic um I don't expect to get the full 3.8 lbs back off next week if I do I'm going to be like really surprised by that but the reason I agreed to go ahead and move up to the 5 milligram I was on the 5 milligram if you guys recall when I first started I did my four weeks of 2.5 then Weight Watchers Clinic went ahead and moved me 4 weeks and five before we hit our shortage and then I was calling everyone for hours trying to just find a 2.5 where we at then medf finder so I digress when I was on that four weeks of 5 milligrams if you guys go back and watch those videos I start talking about how I was moving more how I was feeling less inflammation in my body how the first two weeks of being on it I did experience some nausea it was when I was at Disney I was eating things I was not supposed to be eating when you hear people talk about how they had nausea vomiting uh stomach pain stomach aches what time did you all eat what did you eat did you have something that was fried did you have something that was high in sugar were you eating a a handful of fruit even there's different things that can really Spike up your blood sugar that can kind of work with these how they shouldn't be you don't want to eat too much fat at once you don't want to eat too much sugar at once so next week another commenter last week said that they wanted to talk about what you're supposed to be eating while you're on these I am going to go over how you should be eating on these what I'm learning what's affecting me what's not affecting me the things that I'm doing to try to combat if I do for instance eat something that I'm not supposed to I'm I'm on vacation right now I am at my family's house we celebrated my youngest birthday a little bit early with all the family here yes there was a glutenfree cupcake that I haveed with someone and I thought okay I'm only going to eat half of this it's going to be delicious after the very first bite I sat there thinking to myself I should not be eating this I don't even want this this doesn't even taste good this this is going to make me feel bad later and it in fact did it made me feel bad about 3:00 in the morning so I have also a a different digestive system I have a different way of eating um because of the way that my digestive system is working and I have a GI specialist working with me on that so next week I am going to get more into the what you should be eating how much you should be eating I'm going to show you guys everything that I'm using going to show you example meals that I'm doing devices that I use and I'm going to show you the real results and I'm going to record that over the next week so that I have all of that to show you all next week that way it's a little more comprehensive and it's not just a little piece here and a little piece there and it's it's not a one size fits all thing either this is not like oh you need to have this much protein and then everybody tries to hit that exact same amount it is super super individualized someone who is 300 lb is not going to be eating the same as someone who is 180 lb someone who has a cardiovascular health issue is not going to be eating the same as someone who doesn't have a cardiovascular health issue I came from a keto background I used to eat keto I ate I lost 85 lbs on keto then as I started having children I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease I started going through treatment I started moving and having stress on my body my weight just went straight up so I've done keto I've done carnivore I've done vegan very shortlived on vegan just so you guys know I've done all the things I've done calorie restriction and then I'm going to show you guys how I eat now because how I eat now on this medicine is nothing like any of those just so that you guys know now I'm going to get into glp ones in the news with Jen there's a couple of things that I Glp1s in the News with Jen want to hit on this week the first one is there's been a study that shows that yeah I'm sorry we GOI lovers that tppa tide is performing better than we GOI at 3 six and also 12 months now that being said they did do this study and they're saying that people are losing more weight faster that's not necessarily something that I also want to push out to people and say hey go ramp this up and you'll lose weight faster because that's not really what I believe in that's not really what a lot of the doctors that I that are studying this drug and really looking more into it believe in either and so I feel like this is a little misleading to people and it's going to make people want to jump from wovi over to tepati that are just wanting to lose weight as fast as possible um but that is in the news don't let that dupe you don't let that sway you and be like oh I can lose even more you need to listen to your own body you need to take what is good for your body and lose at a pace that is good for you there also a study that said that the glp1 drugs are reducing cancer risks in multiple different patients there are 10 different cancers that they looked at that it was reducing the risk of these cancers with all the patients who were on these glp1 drugs instead of an insulin the 10 cancers that they looked at kidney pancreatic esophageal ovarian liver and chorri Cancers they did not however see any decrease in thyroid or breast cancers within my additional things to watch down below you're going to see two different doctors that are talking about different types of peptides talking about the um kind of improvement that your body can see from them you're also going to hear them talking about how they believe in more of a micro doing instead of the current doses that we currently have out there you're also going to hear them reiterating how food can often be a lot of our problem behind all of this that you need to be moving more you need to be building muscle I keep going back to this video that I did about maintaining your muscle mass while you're losing weight also getting a scale even if it's not like the one that I use exactly uh Amazon Prime Day is coming up this next week on July 16th and 17th so if you need Prime here is a link or QR code the link will be down below in the caption is my 5 migam of ZB Week 21 injection 5 mg [Music] it's going to wrap up this week for week 20 I do want to thank again Peter for giving all of our audience a 10% off over at medfinder make sure that
