Tyreek Hill & Jaylen Waddle without Tua + Week 2 Start/Sit Advice & Props Picks | Fantasy Football

[Music] [Music] if you're like me you went up against James Cook in three of your fantasy leagues and you are facing a big deficit the week is over or is it that's what we're here to help you with this is fantasy football today presented by bet MGM the sports book born in Vegas I'm Dave Richard Jamie Heisenberg over here Katie MOX over here and before we start a very happy birthday to former NFL defensive tackle Todd Grandam oh wait a minute it's Katie's birthday as well Katie happy birthday happy birthday so much how are you celebrating uh I am working all day today and tonight traveling tomorrow and working Sunday exactly as I'd want to spend it can somebody send some cake to Katie she she could use some after she's working so hard hey look happy birthday many many more we'll get to you in a couple of months by the way okay last night week two Bills Dolphins that was the kickoff game of the week and listen tuong is one of our favorite players to talk about we know he's important to Fantasy not only for himself but also because of the receivers that he throws to he went down with the concussion we're all very concerned for him we don't know how long he's going to be out for we know this is a fantasy show we got to talk about what it means for Fantasy Football So Jamie I'll start with you is there a concern level or I should say how high is the concern level for the receivers that the Miami Dolphins have specifically Tyreek Hill and Jaylen wadt I mean there's obvious concern you know we saw this a couple years ago when you know Tua went down and Tyreek was still okay uh still producing at a very high level so you're still going to start him across the board jayen waddles the the tougher one to trust at this point you know so you have to have a loaded roster to sit him completely but he does now go from a borderline top 15 receiver weekly to now closer to a top 25 receiver weekly so he drops about 10 spots so we'll see how long Tu is going be out hopefully you know he's back they have 10 days to get him healthy before their next game it does not sound like they're going to rush him back and who knows you know Ryan tanhill for example is out there maybe they do make a move and upgrade over Skyler Thompson but if it's Skyler Thompson and in this offense where they have other options they could run the ball we saw that last night it's just going to downgrade these receivers to whatever degree in your lineup again you're not sitting Tyreek Hill you're just not expecting top number one receiver play and for Jaylen Wadd could be sat in your leag I want to ask you about Devon aan but before I come to you any quarterbacks that fantasy managers who were relying on Tua can go to the waiver wire and get right now I mean if Stafford's out there yes obviously Baker's out there yes I think Justin Fields does still qualify even though tough match up on the road if he's going to be Theo oh do you think he gets traded I mean what is he the third string right now on the Rams I feel like someone from a Shanahan offense would make a lot of sense that would be interesting could you imagine if Garoppolo ends up going there that could be fun did you mention Gino Smith no no no Gino Smith is certainly in the conversation D Carr you know if he has another big game as well you know so there's a GU there are guys out that you can speculate on but they're not going to be to okay birthday girl let's talk about Devon Anan Monster game for him huge fantasy production this is two games in a row where he's led the Dolphins in touches in total yards at least among the running backs scored in both games must start fantasy running back there's no question about that how do you view him compared to other Elite running backs even Christian mcaffrey are they close at this point uh yes and no I think it's like a traditional back and certainly they utilize him um in the in the the receiving core as well but no one is Christian mcaffrey I mean I don't think we can put that I mean he's just a Swiss army knife he absolutely does everything he even threw a touchdown pass once a couple years ago so I just feel like yes I love him I'm so sad that I don't have on my fantasy league this year um he was really important to me last year do aan player props go up a lot or a little what's the expectation with him now after a game like this you know I haven't looked into his props today Dave so I'm not exactly sure but I would assume um that they've gone up a little bit this is this is a sell High window for Deon hent is it 100% because you have several things at play here he's coming off two amazing performances one and a half of those came without the other running back that he's still going to share touches with not playing in rahee moer you also have the quarterback down for God knows how long hopefully again back soon but if Skyler Thompson's there that changes the whole complexion of how teams are going to play them two offensive linemen went down in that game and so everything is going going to start to work against H he may overcome it he's that good he's got that much upside so he can you know get over that Avalanche but it's still an avalanche coming for him so if you can turn him into Christian mcaffrey and the only reason I say that is because he's hurt and fantasy managers may not have him for two weeks you're not going to turn him into Bree Hall you're not going to turn him into beon Robinson you can turn him into McCaffrey just because of the injury and then you start to go to the sliding scale the Barkley owner is not making that trade right now after what he did last week correct the tailor owner you probably played out with A10 just because A10 may have a higher ceiling than him and again you start to just work out some of those trades so in terms of the running backs that were drafted ahead of him and there weren't many you know we were down for for our sight when where we would draft him we were down by comparison there were people drafting him as a top seven running back we were not there but if you can turn him into mcaffrey and again the only reason I bring that up I with you I'd rather have mccaf but you you aim for that because if he misses week two somebody may want to take those points just knowing that that that potential production because this calf injury could linger and if that mcaffrey manager in your league is interested in making that swap see for if you can make that trade if you can get Jordan Mason relatively cheaply as well if you don't already have Mason on your team if you can lock up that 49ers backi I'm sure you'd agree with that so if I'm the mcaffry manager and I have both I'm not making that trade you wouldn't trade both for no way I'd rather have i' rather have you'd rather have mff I'd rather have no no no but what I'm saying is if I'm if I'm concerned about mcaffrey I'm not trading Mason also no I want to keep the potential of the 49ers backfield plus Anan and give away mcaffry definitely a lot of moving Parts if you've got Devon Anan I I think that you've you got to hang on to him unless you can turn him into something really really good that's the whole point of the cell High window let's talk about Buffalo for a second James Cook is awesome is he a sell High candidate I mean anytime you you see somebody that scored two rushing touchdowns last season he scored two last night you know who's got six touchdowns total he scored three in that game last night so yes there's there's certainly a sell High window if you can turn him into somebody who was drafted ahead of him but I think you look at this Buffalo offense right now they look fantastic this is two weeks in a row where Josh Allen was good now this week cook was good you're going to see Shakir games you're going to see hopefully King K games right you know so I'm probably not selling him unless again I can turn him into something that's significantly better so the mcaffrey manager is probably not making that trade the bejon hall managers are not making that trade the Taylor and the Barkley managers are not making that trade maybe Jamir Gibbs you know that manager might consider it maybe I don't know if I if I would do that if I had cook uh so again if you were in my Camp which was James Cook is going to have a breakout season this is what hoping for yeah and he certainly did great hyper efficient in the game as well really really incredible Katie the passing game for Buffalo uh is there anything you saw there that makes you nervous or are you kind of just saying it was a James Cook week and next week Buffalo will be back to their old selves well I think anytime Josh Allen lets it rip I get a little bit nervous I mean Tua had most of the interceptions last night but we do know that Josh Allen can put up those numbers as well um I'm worried about the level of receivers that he has obviously Keon Coleman they're still getting up to speed there um hopefully cancade like you said has a better game but the Run game is so strong with cook we know that Josh Allen can muscle his way into anything so if it ain't broke don't fix it I think D conade is a by low right now Jamie certainly the first two weeks of the Season hasn't delivered what he was supposed to do he was drafted as a top five fantasy tight end and he's really been terrible a lot of tight ends have been terrible though and I wonder if week two continues that Trend if you can acquire Dalton conade on the cheap I think you do that I think we will see a lot of great Josh Allen games that's pretty much the wrap up from the bills and dolphins and before we answer your tweet I want to go to some news that came out on Friday from Kansas City Maris Hollywood Brown placed on injured reserve this is something that's going to be a little bit interesting we saw one week without Maris Brown already and that Kansas City passing game it was great for Rashi rice it was great for Xavier worthy it was not so great for Travis Kelce but I think better days are ahead for Kelsey I think you'd agree with that what about worthy and Rashid rice moving forward Jamie do you see them as being now higher ceiling because Maris Brown be gone for a while I guess you know cuz we thought marus Brown was coming back as early as this week so you look at Rice he was always going to be locked in as the number one guy as long as he was going to avoid a suspension which if it does happen will be the end of the year for worthy the the only way he can go is up and and that says something because the production last week was great but only three total touches so two touchdowns on three touches is not something you want to chase but now maybe more targets maybe more opportunities and he's got to be pissed off after what the Bengals were saying about him this week what I'm saying I got a good later in the show I do think he gets more Targets this week oo I'd love to see that and now he's got plenty of opportunity ahead at least the next four weeks where there is no Hollywood Brown he can be that deep threat guy he can be a change up in their run game we saw all these things in week one Xavier worthy someone who could be at least a flex for Fantasy managers moving forward I'm still starting Travis Kelce I'm not worried about that I'm still starting Rashid rice he's a stud Patrick Mahomes uh we've got them both ranked at five that seems low for Patrick Mahomes in a given week but I think that there are some other quarterbacks Herz Lamar Jackson Anthony Richardson for me I think they've got more upside than Patrick Mahomes in week number two this could be a week you talked about this earlier on CBS Sports HQ where Isaiah Pacho takes off and has a big game against the Bengals especially after the Bengals got ripped on the ground in week number one by rre Stevenson so keeping an eye on those Chiefs but the news is that Maris Brown can go on or is going to go on IR for the Chiefs he's going to miss at least the last the next four games for Kansas City and you could drop them if you don't have IR spots in your fantasy league I don't know if he's going to end up being a factor for your fantasy team until maybe the mid-season maybe later than that by then worthy could already be an absolute stud before we go a break let's take a look at a tweet we want to help you in week number two here is the question from Roy E Half Point PPR Aron Jones or Jameson Williams two guys that had phenomenal week one games Jamie who you going with I'm going with Jameson um you know Jones against the 49ers could be a little tough you know they they they gave up [Music] we're back on fantasy football today presented by B MGM the sports book born in Vegas and we're about to get into our running back start and sit conversation you'll see what we're doing we're going to play a game it's going to be a lot of fun but before we do it Jamie Eisenberg start of the week is Jamie go ahead JK Dobbins yeah very excited about the setup for him uh not as excited as Sportsline is but you you see the uh the potential here and he was fantastic in week one against a Raiders run defense that should be better than the Carolina defense he's about to face but 10 carries 135 yards in the touchdown saw four Targets in that game three catches and so was being used as their third down back and now you're facing a Panthers team that struggled to stop Alvin kamaro Jamal Williams and Tamm Hill two of those running backs well two the two running backs scored touchdowns T had uh average seven yards per carry in the backfield there for the Saints they just lost Derrick Brown who's their best run stuffer in the middle of that defense he's on IR with an injured knee so this should be a great game for for Dobbins he's been tough to trust he's missed 43 games in his career due to injuries back from the Achilles Terror that he suffered last year I hope he'll get more than 10 carries Gus Edwards actually had more carries than him but I'm excited about Dobbins this week he's number one running back so Dobbins had over a 100 yards on two of his carries last week if you eliminate those carries he still averaged more than a full yard per carry than Gus Edwards so unless Jim Harbaugh is totally blind to what his running backs are doing JK Dobbins should see a lot of work and last week the Panthers gave up over two yards after contact per rush to the running backs on on the New Orleans Saints they lost Derrick Brown he's their best defensive run stopper this should be a crush job for the Carolina Panthers or for the Chargers I should say against the Carolina Panthers JK Dobbins is a great start of the week and so now as we talk about starts and sits for running backs here's what we're doing we're playing a game that I called rank these three I gave you guys three running backs and you're just going to tell me which one you like the best if there's guys you would start or sit please say so and we also ask the audience we're going to show you the poll results from what our audience said for each of these groups of three so the first one has JK Dobbins in it let's play rank these three it's JK Dobbins against Panthers it's Josh Jacobs against the Colts it's randrecous better than Jacobs better than randri Stevenson keep in mind Stevenson had a great game in week one Stevenson was fantastic in week one and Jacobs was solid in week one but we know the situation for both these teams one in terms of Jacobs down his quarterback and so while he's going to get a lot of work and I like the situation for him because I don't think this Colts defense is fantastic they couldn't stop Joe Mixon last week I think JK Dobbins for this week has a higher ceiling granted he's not going to get as much work as Josh Jacobs but he's probably going to be more productive in the work that he gets so I would start Dobbins over Jacobs and in terms of raand to step up in competition this Seattle run defense was amazing last week against the Seahawks I love the setup for Stevenson still I would start him but give me Dobbins all day I think that Dobbins is the answer here too I am a little closer on it and I think it's real close in my rankings between Dobbins between Jacobs between Stevenson I'm not buying Stephenson he had a great game against Cincinnati Bengals missed a lot of tackles they were really sloppy on defense keep that in mind when we think about that Chiefs Run game in week number two Jacobs and the Packers might be getting the Colts without dorce Buckner and if that happens it could be smooth sailing for that offensive line it took him until the second half to really get going last week but with Malik Willis under center for the Packers they can run a little bit Malik Willis he can't throw but he can run and I wonder if that'll lead to some efficiency for Jacobs so while I like Jacobs I consider him a number two running back and I consider randrecous 140 but this game script really suggests a heavy Run game the Chargers are favored by Five Points here and basically like you guys just said Jim hara's debut did not disappoint when it came to the Run game Dobbins had a great uh showing 135 yards and like you guys said the Panthers uh defense is absolutely pitiful they lost der Brown I expect him to have a field day here they're only five-point favorites against Carolina huh yeah but they're going to get out I think to a lead in the first half and then just run the ball for the second half that would be really good for JK dos i would be shocked if he only had 10 carries this week I really would he just looked like the better running back and I think that offensive line for the Chargers will also be good okay so you heard from us we all like JK Dobbins let's see what you guys said the results of the Twitter poll are in and Dobbins the winner by far 56% I I don't think it's recency bias either Jamie I think our audience sees what you see when it comes to JK Dobbins I think that he's absolutely worth starting ahead of Jacobs and R Andre Stevenson I'm moving on to the next pick these three what do I call them rank these three Jerome Ford Aaron Jones Brian Robinson I'm gonna go with Brian Robinson I like his match up against the Giants I like that he's the running Downs guy for the commanders he even matched Austin Eckler and Targets in week number one so he's going to give you a little bit in the PPR game as well this Giants defense really underwhelmed last week against Minnesota you saw what Aaron Jones did against them I think Robinson can do the same I think he scores I think he's got a shot at even 100 total yards in the game he's my favorite of these three Brian Robinson is a start little nervous about Aaron Jones little nervous about Jerome Ford if I had to rank these three I'd go Robinson Ford Jones and Jones behind the other two do you have a favorite of these three it's Ford by a lot and for was yeah Ford was my other option for start of the week this week the setup could not be better for Jerome Ford in this matchup the Jaguars cannot stop pass catching running backs they were miserable against it last year most receptions most uh the team that allowed the most ction to running back was Jacksonville 109 what they do they come out in week one Devon hen and Raheem moer nine catches combined they're already leading the category again to start the 2024 campaign we saw last week seven targets six catches for Jerome Ford and we know deshun Watson can throw the ball down the field especially if his offensive Line's going to be beat up and now David njoku is not going to be out so there's a big Target missing in this offense so where's the ball going to go probably still to Jerome Ford again what we also see last week they lost 33 to 17 this game's going to be much more competitive and he got 18 total touches in that game in a game where they're getting blasted so now he's going to get probably more opportunities 20 plus touches probably six or seven catches again love love love the setup for Jerome Ford again this close between him and JK Dobbins for me so I think Jan for's so do you have like Dobbins and then Ford both ahead of Brian Robinson this week I do oh wow okay that's interesting the thing that I just I it kind of gnaws at me a little bit with Dr Ford is that he was doing nothing until the final drive of the game but he did get the touches in garbage time a lot of backups were in for Dallas he did score the touchdown but you said the two things that matter the most to me the Jaguars and their defense against running backs through the air we know he's going to get targets we know he's going to catch the football and we also know that he's going to get a lot of work and those things matter in fantasy football so Jerome Ford a number two fantasy running back for me do you have a favorite of these three and do you have a pick for any of these running backs that we're talking about yeah I'm looking at Jerome Ford as well and based on what Jamie just said I love it even more now I took him over 17 and a half receiving yards in this game I think it's a little bit too low now it should be said that his rushing yards is at 48 and a half which is under what we would think that he could do but to your point this Jags run defense has been pretty solid both aan and moer didn't get a lot done on the ground but a lot of check down passes a lot happening in the receiving yards hn had seven passes for 76 yards and if we look at Ford last week 18 touches six of them were from check down so 17 and a half yards it's too low should be able to get over that I'm sure you I mean he's going to get every opportunity to do so big mouth to uh a big Target missing in terms of n joku not being there so I think that just benefits Dr 40 more no love for Aaron Jones who had a big game in week one against the Giants let's see what you guys said the audience voted on these three running backs and they like Brian Robinson the best Aaron Jones a distant third between the three and I think they're all number two fantasy running backs we talked about Ford and Robinson they're toward the top Aaron Jones behind got to get some more votes the first one had over 1100 votes this one only 182 yeah it's a little crazy what's going on we're missing those votes on on that poll all right next one rank these three Naji Harris at Denver Zack Moss at Kansas City Tony Pard versus the Jets we know Moss had a good game Pard had a good game in week number one nii Harris did not have a very good game do you have a favorite running back rank these three Jamie I'm going to go Nai slightly overpowered I think you got to be a little bit worried about Zach Moss just because not a lot of work and we still have to see if this Bengals offensive line will have some success they could be chasing points I do like the fact that he was the third down back uh but nai's got a much easier matchup you know you saw what the Seahawks running backs were able to do Ken Walker was great on the ground charnet caught a touchdown I'm still not sold on jayen Warren being 100% back even though the Steelers did not put him on the injury report that's a great sign but 20 carries last week for nii if he gets that type of work again I think against this in this matchup he should be fantastic uh just has to find the end zone so for me it's nii slightly ahead of par I do like par situation as well but I don't like the fact that the Titans are talking up giving T Spears a little bit more work so we got to see how that split works out but for me nii is the is the leader of the so that's a problem for Pard and I think the Jets run defense bounces back after a really bad showing against the 49 ERS on Monday night and the Jets need this game on the road second week in a row Niners fan over here was a big fan of that one and Zach Moss against Kansas City what happens if the Chiefs build a lead Zach Moss isn't going to get a lot of carries who knows if he'll get a lot of catches Chase Brown had a bunch of catches in week number one so I'm nervous about them too I like niji Harris the best jimie mentioned the 20 carries last week I think he could be more efficient on the carries against Denver I think Naji Harris is the best of the bunch the running backs here Harris Moss Pard is there anything there with props or is there a different direction that you're going to go in well so I wanted to go Harris on this one because I agree with you guys but unfortunately right now all har All Steelers running back props are off the board right now couldn't make any bets on them so instead I'm looking at the full game total here and taking this under it's low it's 36 and a half but you got to think this is going to be an ugly matchup a lot of rushing in this game which you know obviously leans into Harris a lot here both quarterbacks struggle that you know bonck for as good as he seemed in the preseason looked absolutely awful in week one 138 yards no touchdowns two turnovers and now he's got to go up against a pass rush in the Steelers who were led by TJ watt you got to think that Sean Payton is going to be more conservative with them run the ball more I think points are going to be hard to come by in this one so I'm taking the under 36 and a half Harris is a start as a number two fantasy running back the other guys moss and Par they feel more flexy to me than number two fanty guys you think they're all flexes let's see what the audience thinks which running back do they like the best a close call between nii and Tony per but nii wins we've got a smart audience but this is another one where are the votes guys only 181 votes neres wins it with 46% let's do a rank these three for quarterbacks Joe burrow at Kansas City jarro G versus Tampa Bay Baker Mayfield at Detroit I a lot of people drafted Joe burrow figuring that he's going to be their main quarterback week in and week out GF was drafted as a backup maybe some people took GF with Joe burrow Baker Mayfield was not drafted in the majority of leagues he is now on a bunch of fantasy rosters I'm going to go with Baker Mayfield as my favorite quarterback of the three we know that the Lions secondary still some questions there and everything looked great for Tampa Bay in week number one offensive line protected Baker Mayfield that receiving Court it got deeper Chris Godwin's better Mike Evans is still Mike Evans he's the goat and Baker Mayfield played great more importantly the Run game was a little inefficient that means some more throwing for Baker Mayfield and this should be the highsc scoring game I think you said this is as the highest total on the board between Tampa and Detroit so that makes me lean toward Mayfield I like Mayfield and G over Joe burrow what do you think same yeah I I think you know we got to see it from burrow especially T Higgin is not going to play in this game he's missing practice on Friday as well so look last week jarro g go was expected to be in the highest scoring game as well and he didn't deliver because we got the two rushing touchdowns and he didn't get that second passing touchdown but this Tampa Bay secondary is abysmal right now four guys from their their group got hurt last week against Washington so hopefully Goff does what he typically does in his building which is play well he actually lit up this Tampa Bay defense last year in Tampa Bay but I'm with you I think Baker just got a little bit of a higher ceiling right now the way that he's playing the last seven games going back to last year two of the last three he's been over 300 passing yards that was in the playoffs he's just on fire and the way that the receiving core looks right now and just overall everything for Baker's clicking no reason to S him okay I wonder if there's three touchdown potential for both of these quarterbacks in this game but I know that this Tampa Bay offense is very exciting after what they did last week against Washington should be able to do it again what do you see from this Tampa Bay passing game yeah look I mean if we like Mayfield you might as well Target one of his top receivers so I'm going to look at Chris Godwin over 5 and a half receptions this is a really high total for this game 51 a half one of the highest on the Slate it's indoors it has all the making of a shootout and like you said even though the Bucks lost that game in the playoffs what do he have almost 350 yards three touchdowns so we know that he can really do well against this um Lions pass defense which has been a little bit of a funnel if we look back to week one Godwin had eight targets he caught all eight of them considering this pass defense has been a little bit of a funnel I do think that those targets increase and he's had six or more receptions when he's been targeted at least 10 times over the last few seasons 53% of the time he was in the slot last week which is where you won that's better than what he was at last year he played outside a lot more it did not work out for Chris Godwin this is great news for Chris Godwin all right PLL results for the quarterbacks let's see who you guys like the best from the three and it's Jared gof the first time that we've got votes going against us Goff a little bit ahead of Baker Mayfield Joe bur also there hey how about the producers picking Baker Mayfield they're on our side but jarro goof wins the quarterback Poll for rank these three let's answer a tweet before we go to break and see what's on your minds this is from Ross he's got Mark Andrews keep or drop there's not much else out there uh I would love to be in a league where people drop Mark Andrews you you drafted Mark Andrews with one of your first four or five picks and now you're going to let him go yes thank you Katie just relax hang on to Mark Andrews I don't know this week is going to be a big week for Mark Andrews I'd still start him but I think down the line he's going to be very very necessary for that Ravens passing game I hope you liked rank these three because we're going to do it again with wide receivers and tight ends when we come back here on fantasy football today [Music] welcome back to Fantasy Football Today presented by B MGM we're going through the wide receivers that you guys have questions about not guys that are obvious must starts but guys that you might be considering to start or sit for week number two in the National Football League let's play rank these three with these three wide receivers I've got Drake London against Philadelphia Terry mclen against the Giants Xavier worthy against Cincinnati did Xavier worthy do enough to R to bench one of these other two wide receivers Jamie rank these three do you have a favorite of the three it's j I know he was bad last week and clearly you want to see more than three targets and two catches but I do think we'll see a better Kirk Cousins I think they'll have a better game plan understanding the way that he looked I'm hoping that it was just shake the rust off after the long layoff from the Achilles injury and the match up's not as tough I know Philadelphia's defense is going to improve and going to be better we saw some shaky performances last week but I think that was more about the footing in Brazil as opposed to what the defense will look like but I also like that Raheem Morris came out of that game saying we have to get Drake more opportunities and so seven targets eight targets 10 targets that's what we're going to see and if we see that I think he's going to be just fine so I will take Drake London slightly over mclen and I don't think worthy should be in that category just yet I think Worthy is a flex play I think the other two wide receivers are number two options for Fantasy managers and that includes Drake London from your lips the fantasy God's ears that Drake London get seven plus targets but I still like mclen better it's mostly because of the match up against the Giants we saw New York struggle against the pass against Minnesota that was Sam darnold under center now it's Jaden Daniels Daniels was this close to connecting with Terry mclen on a deep touchdown I like them both as low-end wide receivers too I will take muren over Drake London and earlier in the show Katie I believe you told us if you like to prop with Xavier worthy it's time tell us what it is all right maybe he doesn't outrank the other guys but I do like this prop I like him to have over three and a half receptions you could find this at plus 130 of course he was targeted three times in week one had two catches 47 yards couple touchdowns one of them was a rushing touchdown but this cam Taylor Brit talking all that trash is what I really like he said basically all he can do is run in a straight line and we know anytime you give Patrick Mahomes any kind of bulletin board material you got to watch out so I like him to get at least four catches at plus 130 we may see a Crossing route with a behind the back pass you know just to sort of put a little icing on it you know just to really add a little flare to it so yeah that could certainly happen behind the back passes count toward his receptions we'd like to see that happens all right we put these three in a poll on X to have you guys vote on them which one was your favorite let's take a look at the results and it's Terry muren by a nose over Worthy Jamie people are giving up on Drake London tell them why they shouldn't I mean you you didn't draft him with a top three round pick to all of a sudden bench him for Terry McClaren who did not have a good game in week one and Xavier worthy who's still a rookie that did score two touchdowns but he did on minimal touches so I think that's a mistake right now I do like mclen just a little bit better let's move on to the next one rank these three Stefan Diggs going up against Chicago Z flowers against the Raiders and we've already talked once about Jameson Williams but he's the hot name in fantasy right now let's do it one more time is he hotter than Z flowers or Stefan Diggs if you're asking me I say yes and it's an emphatic yes you saw the nine Targets in week one these were not all go balls yes he caught a long touchdown but he was also working across the middle of the field he's expanded his route Tre he looks like he knows what he's doing out there he's playing a lot with the Lions and this is a great Lions offense very well schemed I think he's without question the easy one from this group of three Jamie yeah it's close between him and Diggs you know I think we're going to see Diggs still get an opportunity to play in the slot which is what we saw last week did not have a lot of yards but six catches two touchdowns and was a Red Zone threat for CJ Stout but Jameson Williams again you look at the total and the total tells us high-scoring Affair and that's where I think Jameson Williams comes to play we are going to see more targets for am St Brown we are going to see more targets for Sam lorta Williams overshadowed those two guys which is I don't think a lot of people expected that but I still think Williams will have a significant role I loved him as a third-year breakout this year we saw it in week one I think we're going to see it all season long he's going to be fantastic let ask Katie Jameson Williams oh here's the poll there it is Jameson Williams says hey do what's your lean with jam oh you agree too with Jameson well I do but I when looking at the prop Market I like him over for his longest reception this at 21 and a half obviously five catches 125 yards last week but three of those were over this number 27 36 52 I think he has a lot of explosive play potential too when you talk about those all those linebackers that are out for the bucks okay let's skip on now to the tight ends three tight end ends we're going to rank these three Brock Bowers against Baltimore Dallas Gard against Atlanta tesm Hill against Dallas yes tesm Hill is a tight end these three guys is there one that you prefer over the other two Jamie rank these three yeah I think Bowers is just a slight lean over Tamm Hill just because I like what I saw last week our buddy Tom Spencer uh for CBS Sports is in the booth with Jim N Tony Romo he told us before the game that they wanted to see Bowers and his versatility and we saw it on display we also heard from Tom that they weren't going to necessarily feature one guy in the receiving courp well who led them in targets it was Brock Bowers so it's bad news for Devonte Adams bad news for jacobe Myers This continues and it's a tough matchup look we could say Travis Kelce didn't do well last week because of other players stepping up give the Ravens some credit they took away Travis Kelce yeah they're probably going to take away Brock Bowers too and so not an easy matchup but ton Hill's a wild card wouldn't surprise me if he's better than Bowers just because of touchdown opportunities but I'm going to lean toward the guy who I think is going to get more opportunities the passing game for me as Bowers targets and catches and yards that'll add up for Bowers I'm with you on that one I think Brock Bowers can go out and still perform as a top 10 type of fantasy tight end he was top three he was up there in PPR leagues in week number one is there a leaning amongst these guys we've got some we've got some Raiders we've got some saints we've got some Falcons we or somebody who's playing the Falcons where are you going here with this one well ton Hill might have more opportunities but I'm still laying the six with uh the Cowboys here I feel feel like last week the Panthers had Derek car looking like he was Joe Montana out there he's going to be in for a very rude awakening against this Dallas defense led by Mah paron I think he's going to be running for his life so I will lay the six especially with how good Dallas played at home last year all right so Bowers is a start tesm Hill kind of a low-end start Dallas GD very lowend start still could be pretty good in PPR leags but we like Brock Bowers better than that before we go to break let's answer a question from everybody out there you're asking us how we can help your fantasy teams we want to give you answers to the questions that you send us us on Twitter and here's one from Julio start one running back one wide receiver two flexs half PPR you've got nii Pitman neighbors Pard London Dobbins Jamie you got to start Dobbins amongst this group but who else Dobbins is the running back the receiver would be neighbors and the two flex and half PPR will be Drake London and Naj Harris over Pitman and half PPR I don't trust Pitman until I see a little bit more from him okay I get it the matchup against Denver is very good for Naji Harrison I agree with you on everything else so that'll do it for rank these three some starts some sits at all the key positions in fantasy football when we come back Katie's got her player props for week number two don't miss [Music] it back here on fft and the time has come fellas for the BET MGM prop challenge presented by well bet MGM the sports book that was born in Vegas so if you didn't watch last week here's what's going to happen I'm going to give you a player and I'm also going to give you a a bet that they're going to do and you have to guess what the line is so let's do Justin Herbert completions H easy match up against Carolina I just don't know I don't know how many times he's even going to have to throw okay so 16 and 18 the line is 19 and a half I like the over in this one so I'm against both of you actually on this one uh Chargers offense wasn't spectacular but I think it's pretty promising I also think that the Raiders defense is a lot better than what Carolina is going to show them he was 17 of 26 So Below this number but I think this is a perfect time to test out some of those newer weapons I think he's going to be throwing the ball more so I'm going to go over the 19 and a half I feel like it's the first time I'm against both it really is I I think that they can just run their way to Victory but the one thing that you said that does stand out to me and might make me rethink things is this is an opportunity for them to get Justin almost is it was for the Saints look at what the Saints did last week how many completions did Derek Carr have last week 19 of 23 the only concern I have is you got no djch and you have a banged up Josh Palmer and so do they have enough weapons for him to even you use this as an experiment to throw that many times well well we'll see maybe I'm not starting Justin Herbert in my fantasy leagues that's for in fact I would say the only chargers that I'm starting this week are Dobbins and the DST okay not really interested in anybody else in this matchup I would use Edwards as a as a flex if you're stuck really non PPR maybe maybe hopefully you're not that stuck we're g is going to be on your team we don't want us to get a lot of work anyway okay Nico Collins and receiving yards how many receiving yards for ni Collins against Chicago against Chicago and Jaylen Johnson had a pretty impressive game week one okay here we go 7476 all right I like this it's the line is 66 and a half which I think is a little bit too low for him even though the Bears were really good last week good defense um I still think that nicoo Collins is going to eat considering six catches a team high of 117 last week he was sick this week but I think he should still play all right next one one of my favorites KD receiving yards against the Vikings didn't we have a stat on our show yeah it's like he's been between 40 and 69 receiving yards in like almost every game uh yeah I'm going to go I'm going to go with an even 50 I don't know why I'm saying it out loud when I have a board that's going to show all right well you're the closest the line is 49 and a half and we already know oh so now I just took the over didn't I you did and I took the over as well surprise surprise I took an over on a k prop I just think with no CMC a uke still getting up to speed maybe no CMC CMC could end up don't know I don't know but there's also some talk of potentially moving him to the IR so I don't think that he's playing I think that this is a good matchup for KD had four receptions uh for 40 yards in week one but the reason why I like this too he's only 17 receiving yards away from surpassing Kell Williams senr for the third most receiving yards by a tight end with 100 games so I feel like they're going to feed him the ball and KD's going to go over this 49 and a half he just does he doesn't do much when everybody's healthy that's the problem right now not everybody's no I'm sorry in the receiving Cor in the receiving iuk is going to get back into the group I really like iuk a lot this week I like Debo Moore but they're both top 15 receivers you're going to love hearing this because it's all 49ers uh peria borderline starter and K everybody's going to start KD anyway I think you could get to 50 yards I think you could score against Minnesota as well well we had he had one catch for 26 yards we get two of those we're good all right Joe burrow pass yards against the Chiefs Higgins is not expected to play Chase will be there it's the Chiefs I'm going to say this many 24 you have 15 The Price is Right you're taking $1 I'm nervous I'm nervous 15 all right it's 15 passing yards there's some 215 25 okay 215 I was like 15 okay so the line is 228 and a half I actually like the over in this one I think Joe burrow bounces back he had Jamar Chase who was obviously um going to be a lot better in practice this week and who has beaten Patrick Mahomes more than Joe bur so I like this if you're looking for a sleeper this week Mike aeki with Higgins up they they could sto tight ends last week clearly with Isaiah likely yeah well I mean they did with Mark Andrews last one Lamar Jackson pass yards I don't know what's happening in that year passing yards for Lamar Jackson against the Raiders I don't think he's going to have to do a lot but he can always have one of those big plays okay here we go all right sorry to be late okay so the line is 217 and A2 I like the under which you guys are both on the under I think there's a lot of it's going to be a Derk Henry game uh they better hope it's a Derrick Henry game if this isn't a Derrick Henry game we got problems we got problems yeah I mean so okay so we're both on the uh on the under on that one um all right I think that's all of my so does this mean that Z flowers is more of a flex this week I know we talked about him earlier in the show that's somebody who could definitely struggle Lamar's a start Henry's a start we talked about the ends I think they're both starters as well but this is not a lot of numbers for Lamar to get through the air hopefully he gets them on the ground to help fantasy managers out I know hopefully he does do that all right that's going to wrap it for this segment when we come back ask fft you're watching fantasy football today on CBS Sports Network don't go anywhere [Music] uh before we get out of here we got to answer some of your burning questions this one is from TY Evans need help with flex one spot Keenan mclen Robinson Jr Ridley or Reed I'm going with Robinson agree all right Robinson it is Ty next okay trade Tyreek for cup and Dynasty I am the number one Contender but with enter random QB name here throwing to Tyreek I'm scared says Texas Tex Texas Texans okay I I can't imagine that the cup manager wants to take Tyreek unless you're probably throwing something in on top of it at this point like why would you do that Cooper cups in such a better standing right now who plays longer though how many more years does cup have left how many more years does Tyreek if they're both contenders you're not doing this trade and if you are a contender you'd rather be getting cup and keeping Tariq maybe I think could depend on if you're challenging for the championship or not so don't be scared is what we're saying I I don't think you should be scared I think it just depends on your situation if if you're not contending for the championship I'd rather have Tyreek Hill all right next question Brian Robinson Jr or Terry mclen for my Flex in full PPR worth noting I have Daniels as my backup quarterback with pie as my starter if you want to weigh in on that too no not anymore you know six point for passing touchdown thanks I'd go with Daniels over py I'll start there Jamie you can do the flex or is it the same as the answer yeah for me it I would just go with the commanders and I would go with the the best rushing options you know Daniel's obviously going to do a good job throwing the ball but he's going to run for a lot of yards and Brian Robinson to me is a little better start than McClaren plus you're betting on all the rushing for the commanders against the Giants there is such a thing as too many commanders on a fantasy lineup if you have just Daniels and Robinson you're locking up a lot of those yards on the ground all right next question assuming Ken Walker is do I start Zack shanet or Brian Thomas Jr as my Flex half PPR it's a lot of ask ffts we appreciate that um I would I would start chanet if Walker's out I mean chanet would be in that same range for me as Dobbins as Ford as Robinson you know guys that are just either on your bench or low-end starters most weeks but this week the matchup is fantastic so shanet taking on the Patriots I know it's not easy but it's not going to be that difficult for him with all the work I think shanet would be a little higher than that for me because he'd be the every running back for Seattle I would easily start shanet over Thomas here and if Walker plays you're benching chanet and starting Thomas but I think shanet could have a very good week against New England even if it's even because it's the Patriots that are playing all right next one McBride or likely PPR Charlie I love McBride nine targets last week he's going to be fine all right do we have one more can I ask a question all right we got one more looking at my Flex position on full PPR League pick one R ytb versus Detroit we got Reed Green Bay versus Indiana or makon uh Lac versus Carolina I'm going to take white here I think in full PPR it makes a lot of sense he's going to get a lot of carries I'm worried about the efficiency against Detroit but he will pick up a lot of catches and he does well through the air White's my pick too yep all right white is your pick all right we have 45 seconds left and I'm looking at my lineup right here guys Jerry Judy you think I should go with him or you think I should tank Dell tank Dell definitely Del over Judy yep definitely Del all right well if you like what you heard here today make sure you tune in to Fantasy Football today you can watch now by scanning the QR code on your screen or listen wherever you get your podcast from myself and Dave and Jamie we had a fun time hanging with you today good
