The Absolute Best Strategy To ATTACK Your 10-Team PPR Draft!

what's up guys welcome back into the channel Brendan schaer coming at you with a 10 team full PPR Mock Draft today drafting from the 1.5 draft position as we look to get lined up here for our leagues our home leagues that are all drafting probably this week or this coming Labor Day weekend it is that last push so let's get it rolling here in this draft it's full PPR and we see both of the midlevel first round running backs dropped to us bejn Robinson and Bree Hall it's almost a coin flip for me between the two of them but I am finding more and more especially in the 10 team format I want to get one of those Elite running backs that begin I think there's a real tier break between Bree hall and then saquan Barkley Gibbs Jonathan Taylor Etc so we're going to definitely be drafting one of these two top guys how scared are you of Tyler alir that really becomes the question as to whether you go bejon or Bree I think both have very similar skill sets where they can produce in the passing game Breeze Hall maybe even a little bit more of a pass catcher but let's take bejon Robinson this time you really cannot go wrong with either but I think the more and more we look at the way that these drafts are unfolding the early running back strategy is going to allow you to load up on wide receivers in the mid- rounds and I find that this is especially true in 10 team leagues rather than the standard 12 teamer or deeper I think that's a great strategy jir Gibbs has dropped way way way way way way way too low here so we're just going to scoop him up in the second round and start with that RB RB build that I think is going to win a lot of people a lot of money in their leagues this coming season Devon H Chan another great value going going at 3.1 but look ataa what we have a chance to do here wide receivers that are going in this range are still going to be ridiculously productive yeah we missed out on the true Alphas potentially that are going in that first round and and the likes of pukan niua maybe even a Marvin Harrison I feel like we can come up with extreme value to where we're going to beat out the other RB rooms that we're talking about Chris middle of the third he's going to be a Target hog in his team's offense I know that people have some concerns about quarterback play Derek Carr is going to find cave and with that offense that they're installing there in New Orleans I think they're going to make sure to get him enough touches it might not even just have to be the long big plays that a can bring to the table this year get the ball in his hands would be my recommendation for that team uh and now we're in the middle of round four look we have a an alive as our starting wide receiver one we can continue to attack some of the Great Value I think these next two rounds are going to be absolute smashes for the wide receiver position but we do want to make sure that we still get in with an elite enough quarterback and an elite enough tight end but that's not going to come in this round I think there's still enough depth at the tight end position really another five or so tight ends we really like and a quarterback there's some value a little bit later on as well so let's consider wide receiver I've talked a lot ad nauseum on this channel about my pick of Cooper cup in the late third instead of M League Neighbors in one of my leagues let's just not make that mistake here right I think and not to say it's a mistake but I want to make sure to get neighbors and he might not make it to me in the fifth and Cooper cup we knew wasn't going to so we're just going to go ahead and lock in Neighbors again we're riding with two quarterbacks and getting their top pass catchers Derek Carr and Daniel Jones who are not great quarterbacks but I think they're going to do enough to take these guys aavan neighbors who are going to be the focal points of their respective offenses and make sure that those guys can produce for Fantasy I mean if you're if you're those two quarterbacks not throwing it to these two players I don't know really what you're doing out there on the field so we feel very good about neighbors grabbing him in the middle of the fourth here is a great pick next we look at the white receiver position again if we're so inclined starting to see some quarterbacks selected could still find ourselves in that Richardson Kyler Murray tier Dak Prescott like still some good names on the board let's see though a tight end cancade would be a great pick here after really starts to go downhill a little bit but I still feel like there is such a strong value of the receivers in this range I'm very tempted to pick Devonte Smith I think I'd go Smith over Pitman I understand he's a wide receiver to on his own team that doesn't bother I'm gonna take Dalton k k though could he be the top pass catcher for Josh alen in Buffalo this year I think the answer to that is yes and because of the 10 team format I'm more inclined to make sure we get Elite at some of these onesie positions was hoping to see Richardson drop back around to us he doesn't that's okay we've got two stud running backs that we feel really good about the upside is tremendous yes Gibbs is going to share with Montgomery that's okay this is full PPR Gibbs is a an expert pass catcher he's going to be in great shape here a neighbors and then we fill out our tight ends spot with concade we're always looking to see can we have a guy that has top three top five potential upside at his respective position I'm not saying conade will be the tight end one I'm saying the target volume is going to be there and he's got the upside to be a top three tight end quarterback is another position that we're looking at but team one team two team three and Team Four have all selected them already Kyler Murray is a name we can Circle probably for the seventh round to maintain that rushing upside if we miss we end up punting at the position but punting at the position looks like a Caleb Williams are Jaylen uh Jaden excuse me Daniels that being said we want to hit wide receiver here to start filling out our Flex position and Rashid rice is still going too late this is the middle of the sixth round for a wide receiver one on a Patrick Mahomes Le offense I think for PPR in particular rice is going to be a value because he's not going to be the Xavier worthy Run Deep and and Mahomes will Chuck it that'll work for Xavier worthy we might even draft him to help fill out our bench if the value is there but in the case of Rashid rice he is going to be that option over the middle of the field as the workload maybe scales back a little bit for Travis Kelce this year Chiefs know they're getting a buy into the postseason they just need to make sure Kelsey is ready to try and three repeat so they'll try to keep him heal healthy I imagine throughout the season rice is going to be a tremendous pick in the middle of the sixth round and you might worry about the suspension I don't think there's one coming and if there is it's probably going to be so late into the season you can have a little bit of anticipation for it and maybe trade him but Rashid rice I think his wheels up for week one we have such a good build right now at running back we'd rather build in full PPR our bench out of wide receivers I did mention we're looking at Kyler Murray could we kind of delay it even a little bit further I think I want to because of the wide receiver name that dropped into the seventh here T Higgins another wide receiver to on his own offense that we don't mind because that is a Cincinnati passing offense that's going to be exceptionally strong we do end up missing out on Kyler Murray as a result of that so we're probably going to look to maybe draft a couple of quarterback options but we're going to have to have upside as the prerequisite the one regret that we so far have from this draft but we're looking at Higgins rice neighbors and alve all is probable top 20 maybe even top 18 wide receivers I think there's the potential that we're getting such great value late in the draft that it just makes perfect sense for us to continue down the path that we're on we'll check out the quarterback position however uh everybody's got one now is the thing that we can basically rest easy on there will be backups that are selected we're playing against CPU drafters which tend to prioritize backups on the sleeper platform but but we're going to just be fine with it because we're in the middle of the round it's never going to be that long of a wait to have to draft our position so taking a quick look at the RB spot man there is a temptation to go Raheem moer because I think there is a lot of upside there but I just want to continue to smash the wide receiver values that exist in this range I'm getting romad dun in the eighth round if this is my 10 team draft I am absolutely thrilled with the way that it's playing out while others are selecting some of these running backs that I mean Nick chub is is going on the pup list he's going to miss the first four games there's no reason to be drafting zamir white over a name like romad dun so we feel really good about the wide receivers that are panning out we've got five stud potential wide receivers at this point and we did this by the way by drafting running backs to begin remember this was an RB heavy build at the very beginning of this draft bejan and jir Gibbs and to still have the wide receivers that we're coming away with while having dton concade as our tight end feels very very good look we could wait even a little bit further there will be some backup quarterbacks that are going to be drafted but Caleb Williams Jaden Daniels I really just need to make sure I get one of those guys we'll check out the running back position again I think this is a spot where it could make a little bit of sense to in a 10 Team league give ourselves a shot at another great running back Jonathan Brooks is very interesting in this range because of the fact that he's going to go right onto our ir and we can pick up another rookie running back or wide receiver young upside play that we want at the very end of this draft I think it's going to make perfect sense to unfold hold it that way still no quarterbacks off the board between our last pick and now so we feel like we are in a great position to be able to attack that position and we may just continue to delay it because there are some rookie wide outs and young players like Jameson Williams still on the board we can get our six pack of wide receivers this way and Jackson Smith and jiga of the group of jsn Brian Thomas and Jameson Williams I'll count Romeo dobs into this grouping as well you could maybe think about khil Shakir Adon Mitchell jsn is such a value we're going to click his name and hope that not too many quarterbacks go off the board Jordan love does couple backup tight ends go okay this is a perfect situation for us as much as I'd love to click Jameson Williams name now we're getting a little bit greedy I think if we continue at the wide receiver position uh we do only have one bench spot remaining but there are kickers and defenses that I put into this draft because I want to demonstrate for people exactly the way that you should be handling the the late rounds especially if you can pick up an injured player like Jonathan Brooks that's actually going to play right into our strategy let's go ahead and grab Caleb Williams here as we start to see some other quarterbacks go off the board teams and 10 teamers are drafting these backups because there's a concern of what might happen if they don't what could happen to their bench if their starting quarterback is injured all of these questions I'm just going to probably double tap quarterback here and grab Jaden Daniels because I was the last one to pick a starting quarterback but I'm able to get two that I think have really legitimate upside of the position two rookies right here's everybody on CPU drafting kickers here's what we're not going to do draft a kicker here's why it's August 26 that I record this you might be drafting this week you could even be drafting Labor Day weekend you still do not need to draft a kicker just wait just wait because what do we already have on our roster we have an injured player and Jonathan Brooks who's going to go right into an IR slot this works especially if you have IR slots in your league but it even works if you don't because there's no reason for me to have a kicker today I don't need a kicker until September 8th that's honest truth because what could happen if I draft some of these rookie running backs well the starters could get hurt in front of them in practice in Camp whatever there's no more preseason games but that things can happen on the practice field so why would I not handcuff why would I not grab some upside plays the interesting thing is Jerome for this already kind of applies to Jerome Ford because Nick chub is out for the first four weeks so there's a route where you can just take him and feel really good about your life I'm gonna take Ray Davis still because he's a guy that I think has League winning upside if James Cook should get injured right love him as aad back up as a stash Jerome for it you could draft but what happens if chub comes back mid year it's kind of a volatile backfield I don't think you're going to be able to maximize the value of Jerome Ford in trades so really I'd rather just make sure I'm grabbing a guy like Ray Davis and look these these other teams around me are drafting kickers and defenses that'll happen in your real League don't do it do not do it instead scroll down even further see if there might be some options some of these rookies kamani Vidal what if he ends up being a guy that plays week one for the Chargers would you be glad to have him wouldn't you like to be able to take a look brillan Allen is another guy that I really like taking very late in drafts Rico D could be the rv1 for the Cowboys that's honestly a pretty good selection I'm going to pick him here just to demonstrate a lot of times I'd like to go rookies Jaylen Wright's another great example let's just grab Rico D because what happens if Zeke gets injured in practice for the Cowboys what happens if the Cowboys say Rico D is going to be our Workhorse and Zeke is just there for veteran uh Insurance what if that news report comes out this week aren't you glad you have Rico d as the last pick in your draft you might say but Brendon what do I do I don't have a kicker defense I don't care you don't need one it's August 26th Jonathan Brooks he goes into an IR spot boom now you can pick up a defense with that I the diff look at the differences between these defenses who cares we don't really know what defenses are going to be great anyway and they all spent a last round pick on them why draag somebody with an injury Jonathan Brooks qualifies TJ hackinson qualifies if you want to take your shot on Nick chub he qualifies but I think he's still going too early in drafts for it to be worthwhile I like these late round guys hackinson I love for it Hollywood Brown is another another guy that's going to be out a few weeks with the Chiefs you'll be able to plug him into IR soon enough on sleeper these are the types of names that we're looking for more may emerge with short-term injuries that you can kind of buy yourself a little bit of extra time it's exactly what we're wanting to do with our bench because I have been able to add either Ray Davis or Rico D and I don't have to drop them before week one remember I'm going to put Brooks on IR the other guy I may yes have to drop on Sunday September 8th or whatever that first week one uh Sunday is to pick up my Kicker I'll do it at 11:50 a.m. Central Time on September the 8th if I have to to me that is the way to manage the very last rounds of your draft but taking a look at how we handled it Caleb Williams or Jaden Daniels how often do we see rookie quarterbacks that have rushing upside break the game of fantasy football I've got two of them that have the potential to do it we're maybe going to know early on which if either will if not look we can look into waivers and and pick up guys like Trevor Lawrence I don't think was drafted at all Aon Rogers wasn't drafted at all Matt Stafford wasn't I mean there's tons of options out there Justin Herbert I don't believe was drafted in this 10 teamer plenty of options exist I love the way we handle quarterback because it allowed us to get really really elited other positions bejon Robinson jir Gibbs you won't find a better RB room in this league Bree Hall Barkley maybe all right that may that may be I prefer Gibbs to Barkley slightly I think Barkley loses some touchdown Equity to Jaylen herdz but I do generally like Barkley where he's going in drafts I think he's a fine pick Hall versus bejon we admitted that was a coin flip but other otherwise there's just not a running back room that can stand up to ours mcaffry Rashad white no thank you I am all the way out on Rashad white just like I was last year if he proves me wrong twice in a row with that inefficient effort that he gives I fine I'll be wrong on him but I love the way we started our RB find me a wide receiver room that's better than ove neighbors Rashid rice T Higgins radun jsn I mean maybe team seven Chase London Evans Wadd Pitman uh yeah that's pretty good mclen that's pretty good I think we have the best of both worlds look at what team seven doesn't have running backs Pard Warren Benson that's their whole running back room I think we ended up with a very very good draft with extreme upside at the receiver position despite the fact that we did not prioritize it early this is the way that I would approach it especially in 10 team leagues but I think you can even use this approach in 12 teamers
