We need a 54 foot table, but divide that by two sides, also six feet apart, we just needed a 27 foot by 72 inch table. So, either I have to buy the house next door to have room for the table or we're never going to be able to eat together again. I need to see my family in person and not on a screen. Okay, I know you all think I'm an overreactor, but sometimes overreacting is not overreacting. And this is one of those situations I've never had anything this huge to overreact to, except the wedding. Of course. Dad! You're comparing my wedding to the pandemic? No, you know what I mean. Okay, well I was waiting for everyone to attend so, here's the reason I shaved and the reason why we're Zooming, since Rachel and I had to postpone our wedding until who knows when, I just decided that I don't want to wait anymore. I don't blame you. I don't either. So Mom, Dad. I met a girl online and we're getting married. Ahhhhh! Oh my God. Are you getting married right now on the Zoom? Of course not, that's ridiculous. The leaves don't move and I'm as big as the mountains, but okay. Let's get married. I can't believe this is happening. Nina, our son is getting married. I know. About love, a great Chinese philosopher once said to me, being deeply in love- Matty amazes me. Just like Nina, he's always calm, always centered, always a little ahead of the rest of us. We parents never fully see our children as grownups. We look at them and can still see the little kid they used to be. The memories of all those moments we shared stay with us. Not just the big ones, the ones we all have photos of. But the little ones. It's especially those memories, The ones you'd think you might forget over time, that we treasure the most. And then before you know it, your little boy, is a man. A man you look up to. And now he's about to be someone's husband. Okay, here we go! Game time. But we've managed to stay okay. All these months, because we have each other. And now, thank God we have a doctor in the family! You have no idea how happy that makes me. I love you all.
