THIS IMMIGRATION SITUATION YEAR IS AFFECTING NEARLY EVERY ASPECT OF LIFE FROM FROM WHAT I CAN TELL AND FROM WHAT THE RESIDENTS ARE TELLING ME HERE IN SPRINGFIELD, OHIO, I'M HERE JOBS AND KIND OF FAMILY CENTER HERE IN SPRINGFIELD. THIS WAS PACKED WITH A LINE ALL DAY. IT WAS PRIMARILY HAITI IMMIGRANTS LIKE LITERALLY ALL DAY LONG. IT COULDN'T GET TO SPEAK TO ME BECAUSE THEY DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH. BUT THE SERVICES HERE REALLY UNDER STRAIN IF THE INFRASTRUCTURE, THE ACCIDENTS ON THE ROADS ARE SKYROCKETING. PEOPLE ARE REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THAT. COLDER 3 ALONE TODAY, THE CRIME RATE. IF YOU LOOK AT THE FBI DATA, THE CRIME RATE FROM 2019, THE 2022 IS UP 140 2%. RESIDENTS SAY THAT DURING THE TIME WHEN KIND OF INFLUX HAS COME. RESIDENTS ARE SAYING LIKE LOOK TO LOCAL TOWN, IT'S NOT LISTENING TO US THAT THE STATE IS NOT LISTENING TO US. THE FEDS CERTAINLY ARE NOT LISTENING TO US. I SPOKE WITH ONE RESIDENTS IN THE PACK EARLIER THIS MORNING. SHE SAID SHE'S FIT TO BE TIED. SHE'S A LIFELONG RESIDENT HERE. SHE SAID ACROSS THE STREET FROM HER APARTMENT COMPLEX HAITIAN IMMIGRANTS HAVE PUT UP KIND OF A MAKESHIFT GARAGE LIKE AN AUTO GARAGE, AUTO BODY WHERE THEY'RE FIXING A LOT OF THESE CARS THAT ARE BEING KIND OF DAMAGE AROUND THE CITY. SHE SAYS SHE'S COMPLAINED TO POLICE. POLICE HAVE SAID THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. SHE SAYS IT'S >> GOING ALL DAY LONG AND ALL NIGHT. LET'S TAKE A LISTEN. >> THEY COME IN ON A ROPE AT NIGHT.
