Pat Freiermuth you've been around here a while now yeah last night's backs all backers yeah that's the that's the most uh energetic I've seen um it was great competition um you know it's going to you know Iron Sharp's iron and that was the definition of it and uh yeah it was awesome what's got into you guys we're just we're trying to compete we're trying to get to that next step and we're trying to do whatever we can to get success in the playoffs so um you know as long as we're getting each other better out here um keep each other healthy and safe and upright and we're going to continue to work and and get as best best as we can going into week one what has specific gotten into 30 and 22 H man they they're energized they're uh you know they're competing um you know they're doing really well in this new offense and you know I'm excited to see you know how they play off each other this year you know the defense is supposed to win that drill yeah I mean it's it's kind of rigged for that you guys are two for two collectively right yeah yeah I mean they're they're doing a great job um you know obviously you know some drills are slanted in our favor some slanted in the defensive favor and that's one of them that's slanted in the defensive favor and uh you know we we smile on the face of like Coach T says and we compete have you been practicing this offense enough where you can see in the regular season you're going to get a million targets and a million catches hopefully that's the plan but yeah know man it's been great and uh you know got to continue to work stay healthy and uh continue to work with the quarterbacks build that chemistry and excited for you know the future to ask you about uh Kyle Allen pickings a little bit it seems like who ever quarterback 14 Spa in the ball good things are happening yeah I mean he's easy to find he's usually open and you throw it in his vicinity it's usually coming up in his hands so we trust him a lot and it looks like he's doing a little bit of everything I know you weren't here last year he's kind of a more of a one trip Pony would you say he's got the complete rout tree going now yeah I mean he's got the ability to do whatever he wants to do so it's more of just getting on timing with him um figuring that out just spending time with him and and just going through it and he's you know he's bought in he's ready to go and and it's just you can see we progress every day with him and defensively what kind of vibe you guys got going on now I know Arthur's been talking about physical physical physical since he got here but looks like people have paid attention yeah I mean I think we're starting with the Run game and just just really trying to be a downhills downhill physical run game um you know build the passes off of that just be a balanced offense and I think everyone's just buying in and it's like I said we're just getting better every day just making small improvements and getting ready for week one and it looks like all you guys are pretty play action boou capable and and uh run capable yeah quarterback's legs are going to affect this team one way or the other yeah I mean I think obviously Justin's probably one of the best runners in this entire league regardless of position you know Russ has done a ton of it over his career you know I've certainly done enough of it over my career um I think it's going to be a big part of our offense and whether that's in the boot game in the Scramble game design game whatever it is and I just think for us it's just we're just trying to be as balanced as possible and trying to figure out who we are how you find it personally when you got here did you have a vision of what you thought what it might be or were you kind of blank page and see what happens I've been to enough places where youve come in with expectations it's usually doesn't end up well for you so I just kind of come in and you know it's my fifth team now I'm really honored to be able to play for Tomlin you know I've watched this team from afar for a long time and you know really respected it so it's cool to be in the building and and see what it's really about as a player so it's been a lot of fun but I didn't have any expectations coming in just trying to be myself and be as good as I can be St for like a fif for you oh yeah it was fit from day one you know but I was just trying to you know me I just don't want expectations you know there's some places have been better than others so
