We asked Donald Trump about issues that matter to local Nevadans

Um Mr President, we know um and uh what uh I wante you, what one policy or p pursue that you think is would help local Las Vega economy. And I think mayb we're gonna have interest very rapidly because the so high right now, you ca uh we were at 2% 2.2% and 10% but you can't get any rates are gonna be very i of money as far as hotel as you know, uh No tax on very good also as you, as week. And I think it's go in a certain way more imp overtime. And then for th be fantastic because they by inflation. This makes just about make up for it no tax on social security three things are gonna be Yeah, absolutely. Working all benefit um, from thos you this. Um, once you ta of the uh, of the federal gonna replace that? We're growth. We're gonna have, drill, we have more liqui than anybody else. And we countries that have been years with tariffs and th us uh we, we'll have mone had before. We're gonna c It's a one way street for It's been that way. In fa of it with John. I charge billions of dollars in ta inflation, essentially no gonna have countries that us and ripping us for yea of us on trade and everyt gonna pay tariffs and you sort of in some people. A smart people, but in some is a dirty word. It's not It's the most beautiful w not gonna raise your, you not gonna do an all it's Biden, Harris or Harris B wanna figure it, uh We're a year with the tariffs, down to a very manageable we can break it even. And tremendous growth because the tariffs, there is no your plant in the United workers, the auto workers of business. We're not go workers anymore. It's gon China and other countries by the way, and we charge on those cars. They're no sell them and therefore t time in building the plan the plant over here. If y over here, there's no tar end up building the plant gonna bring back the auto bring back business, we'r manufacturing and we were when we got hit with the on the COVID, but we were do it. We had everything US MC A deal which people trade deals we've ever ma be doing it and we're gon and a big part of that is manufacturing. Do you wor if the, uh, if you, uh, p foreign goods that prices that'll wipe out any adva tax on tips. No tax on ov social security. What it' is take away the profit t are making. Uh, this is j gonna still make plenty, make the kind of money th last 40 years. Uh I mean, take a look. I mean, Mexi billion deficit we have w gonna make much less and we have to do that becaus That's why $35 trillion i States, we're gonna actua debt and we're gonna also use our, our resource aga oil, we have more liquid uh under our feet than an More than Saudi Arabia, b than Saudi Arabia, more t something uh Anwar in uh Ronald Reagan wanted to d to do it. They say it's t the world, bigger than Sa size or bigger uh bigger you know, you never know until you get in there an say it's potentially the world and I got it done. everybody tried. They cou I got it done. They were and Biden, in this case, stopped it in their first it. It was 5060 years. Th to get it, they stopped i up again. I think I'll be because we have gotten it what to do to uh reinvigo is, was a great disappoin believe that they did tha to do it. And here we hav sitting there and Alaska It would have been the gr program they've ever had. and what they have would the country. You know, wh you gonna get the country perfect example. So, uh w and many other things and uh but tho those foreign tariffs, won't they pass if they passed a tax on g would probably at your re absorb it. It sort of dep Not necessarily, you look a golfer actually, but no one, sir. Not a good one. many good ones around, I' no, not, not really. I th find and I think when we countries also will be ta know, there are some that on us. We have countries, now, but we have countrie us 200 percent and 253 10 nothing and it's insane a do it and it's really not not sustainable. There ar that I've been, I'd, I'd them now because I'll be and when we win, but they pay up and uh it's not go if anything, it's gonna g gonna be paying off debt much debt as a country. W and we have to start maki consider deficits and a l There's a deficit doesn't heard that they say defic Well, I view it as profit way and we have to at a m or make something. And, y making now with us a tril dollars, they're building And I had it down to abou when I came in it was a $ Can you imagine? And it w COVID came, we had to pla game. Everybody had to pl but we were getting it do I understand it's over a uh with her and with him a terrible job. How, how is, is the national debt would you try to bring th re elected? Well, the way is through really great g it down with tariffs beca are making all of our pro you have 100% tariff on a the money is the fact tha wanna pay it very long an a plant here. If they bui is no tariff. So uh we're growth. We're gonna have and we're gonna do it, we and effectively and it's money and we're gonna sta debt. We have to pay, we down our debt. Um uh Mr P Nevada and I think elsewh there's a group called Re Um uh I spoke to one of t uh the other day. What's who are Republicans who s vote for Kamala Harris, p Cheney and, and other mem they, they, they're not a a lot of them are Rhinos. but we have a lot of peop Democrats that are voting can't stand the open bord can't stand the stupid fi I terminated the Russian pipeline in the world. It Two. Nobody ever heard of Stream Two. And uh he com build that and he termina which was so important fo But I guess, I don't know him. Somebody got to him. the union wanted it to be it was the environmentali having something undergro having trucks all over th I have many Democrats tha and largely if you think like war. I don't like wa is, you know, she's like, lost with the greatest ma ever lost by so much as s father stayed with her an to scooter Libby. Uh, and it and Cheney and Bush di because Cheney thought it I gave a pardon to, again saying don't do that. But treated very unfairly. I to Scooter Libby, which C done. He was begging Bush not do it. I did it becau Libby was treated unfairl and he also was one of th me, but the bottom line i have many people, many mo the democrats to support that I've never seen befo have strong borders and t baby drill and they wanna that we do and they wanna in our country and this a just had a poll and we're And I think we will and t because they like the, no love the idea. No tax on they wanna work overtime give up half of their ove fact that, you know, they rule. So I think, uh, I t well. I, I do think very on the social security be the seniors have gotten w I say no tax on social se senior should run and vot gonna be good. But uh you area.
