Penzeys Spices Seasoning: Old World, Northwoods, Galena Street & Penzeys Pepper Review

today Kevin and I are going to be reviewing a 4-pin sees spices these were sent to us from Michael so thank you very much Michael he hand-picked these online and then had them delivered to us we're gonna be trying the galinha Street rib and chicken rub its traditional southern style barbecue rub the Northwoods seasoning the perfect mix for chicken and fish the old-world seasoning all-purpose sprinkle perfect for baked chicken and pin C's pepper world's best ground pepper so Kevin and I are going to try these with some baked chicken so we're gonna set up and we'll be right back so we baked some chicken and we have we each have our own a couple here cut them in the chops yes and then I want to make sure you can see everything so first we're going to try the black pepper it is pen C's pepper is equal parts compassion and grape flavor a simple shape brings to life salad sandwiches meets pasta potato soups eggs or anywhere else goodness is desire delicious every time Oh engine sounds this is no it's just it all it is is pepper hmm the pepper rubber matches pepper it's just pepper trail a go / - go do it yes it's nice pepper its ground really nice it's not too fine it's not Hadiya is kind of fun especially compared to the coarse pepper that we got recently but I accidentally bought some it's good like that it's good pepper and I like pepper on I like it in soups I like it on green beans and corn I like pepper on almost everything okay this is the old-world seasoning a robust all-purpose land rich with Hungarian paprika excellent on chicken steak and fish it has sweet paprika salt sugar celery garlic and onion black pepper parsley dill seed caraway seed turmeric dill weed bay leaf margarine marjoram thyme savory basil and rosemary and it is two calories yeah for half oh maybe two it looks like calories - oh wow you're bright hopefully it's not too spicy okay we will throw this away by the way half of the reviews over so we won't be putting back in it no I will not put these back in the jar after they venture we do have more chicken so that we our favorites advance delicious haha that's really good with that um that smoky paprika flavor really comes out throwing that that's really good it almost had like a tomato he kind of clever you get that like a red sauce compliment I get more of a smoky you know the handsome how my god tomato like a tomato soup have you ever had tomato soup with salt and pepper on it that's what that flavor reminds me out is it tomato soup who knows it's very very good I love all those farmers in they do good I think you the flavor that you taste the most is the paprika yeah that's smoky yeah yeah you you want to go read it yeah so this one's the Northwood seasoning a perfect mix for chicken and finish his traditional mix of herbs sweet Hungarian paprika black pepper and garlic it is coarse flake salt Hungarian sweet paprika Tellicherry to latrine black pepper tom cracked rosemary granulated our garlic inch ball a typical day to bully did that have sage in it there's no long I'm sorry no it's garlic it reminds me of when I made that collector II or whatever that could be sometimes when I make my dressing I make my turkey and dressing yeah I always put sage in it and to me that reminds me very very much all those ingredients mixed together it reminds me of sage yeah I can see that it says for um it says use heavily one teaspoon per pound of meats and vegetables so they're saying basically usual and there's a law that says one calorie per teaspoon that's interesting of course the pepper didn't have anything network do you get what I'm saying yeah I definitely get a safety kind of point yeah that's weird that all those play doesn't granulated garlic and suppose I don't prep rosemary rosemary baby yeah right all those spices combined together to give you sage okay so this one is the Galena Street rib and chicken rub traditional southern style barbecue rub which it sounds good traditional southern style seasoning rich with sage nutmeg and red peppers spicy but not too hot it's a salt sugar tell it touch free black pepper paprika and nutmeg sage cayenne and crushed red peppers does this one have calories to today did you get a lot yeah I did Wow there's some hate this is like a rub though you're supposed to put this on before you cook it I mean I cook you good athletes I'm just gonna say it says rib and chicken it says for one or two tablespoons of one cup of tomato sauce work for an excellent barbecue it gives little tips like that on the back of all days I just didn't read on great on thick cut pork chops oh I just didn't read them because yes you can use that one as a rub but Rachel another actor too that has a lot of heat to it mm-hmm it says spicy but not too hot which I agree I agree too it's not too hot to enjoy it however it's got some it has some one ready it's funny you went back to that I wanna try because I think that one is probably my favorite well yeah that's runneth over to this one I like a lot but you really come away with just this hot pepper a flavor mm-hmm or I would really like this a lot that one has like a celery condo I think it tastes like - well this one's gonna taste like tomato salt no no no which one you like the best yeah I know can I have to go back no no no I like this one too though because I think the the old one just gives you a really deep very complex flavor well then head there's a lot going on in this there really is it all works good together think you can't work we're not going to put pepper in the equation because the pepper is pepper peppers good any time yeah but out of these three seasonings I know they do the old-world seasoning I like it the best and it does say it's perfect for baked chicken out of so I would if I were to do this like make it on my own again I can show you I would actually sprinkle it all much again before I baked it you would yeah it would like stick this could be into it I hope you were gonna grill put it on the skin rub it in really good with with the chicken before you grill it and the chicken that would be really good too that would be good but that's not person it probably this was a certain cuz I like that I like that will heat to that I don't you and then that's my second no I'm good yeah that's that was the girly Natori yeah that was my second-favorite okay so we've got the groom yes so thank you very very much to Michael for sending us these we've never heard of pensee so this is very nice to get to to learn about a new company so I'm going to put a link in to their company in the description below it's WWWF in size calm so if you want to check them out you can we get nothing from that if you order something we will never know what you know -
