[Music] welcome to Forbidden Planet TV please introduce yourselves hello I'm morvi and I play gladel in rings of power hello I'm Sam and I play Adar in the rings of power it's been a while since you WRA shooting how are you both feeling now the show is about to come out you know we filmed a while ago now um and it's so exciting that now it's about to we seen um filming this is incredible the set and the costume and everything you feel like you're really truly there but we're also super excited to see all the work that's gone on since we wrapped yeah um and just excited for these characters to be back and for people to kind of be in people's um lives again um we've missed them yeah and you've had the first series this obviously this is my first season so um uh is very exciting for me to to have that experience for the first time of something this this big coming out and um yeah I'm really looking forward to seeing the fruits of our labor yeah Mora take us to gadriel where where we leave her at the end of season 1 it's kind of like you know she's discovered something so how is she feeling at the beginning of season 2 what's that like so I think gladel of season 1 um was very certain of many things and one of them mainly being who she was that she was someone who fights for good and is uncorruptable and wise and kind of Untouchable in lots of ways and all that's been proved wrong she's been deceived her sense of who she is has been completely shattered and we find her in season 2 um depleted and broken however there's no time for that and she's got to find out who she's going to be in this new Dark World um and keep fighting um but she's in a lot of pain and yeah she's she's terrified the whole of Middle Earth is terrified and Sam as you mentioned you're fresh new to the role but you know you're picking up Adar so where's he at well he's he starts um the second season um kind of having succeeded what he set out to do you know he's succeeded he's created more the the Uruk have a home now and that's it or you know and he's probably I think that the beginning of the Season he's completely fine and done everything uh that he needed to do but that there's this nagging thing he has from season 1 episode 6 that when he saw or met how brand that there was a sense of recognition that made him feel slightly unsettled and he couldn't put his finger on what that was and when he meets s meets hellbrand again at the beginning of season 2 who tells him that there's uh the dark lord has returned basically or a sorcerer he says that that throws everything into chaos again for him yeah it was shortlived Glory really really short lived yeah now obviously we can't let out any spoilers but do you each have a favorite line from season 2 yeah I do you do I don't know if I'm allowed to say it I don't know what's in your head well okay yeah no you don't do you um my favorite line is um let me just think of it because it's in Elish oh um oh my God I can't remember I can only remember the end of it you go first and oh go um I mean my favorite line I would say actually isn't my own um but comes from uh new and very wise bearded character um and I'm too scared to say anything um I remember my now yeah go for it her alaran nice that sounds beautiful I have no idea what it means obviously it's going to be great it's a very good a star Shines on the hour of our our greeting oh lovely in the speed dating variety of this interview we're down to less than 30 seconds so all I'm going to say is guys what message do you have to the fans as they come into season 2 well we're so excited to kind of be back and we're so kind of still can't believe how lucky we are to be coming back for a season two and we're really excited to kind of see what you guys think of it and I mean it's all for you yeah I second that and I'm looking forward to seeing it too we've seen a bit of the first two episodes yeah but I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of it it's not really real until it's out there yeah yeah my time here is done thank you very much for yours have a great day take care thank you very much bye if you're enjoying watching Forbidden Planet TV and you're enjoying watching us talk to the world's most interesting and accomplished filmmakers authors artists musicians creators subscribe right here see you soon
