let start with uh Brett Williams who's been signed this week what will he bring well it adds competition for places um Brett's got a good goal scoring record at this level good Target man got a bit Pace as well so um yeah it keeps everyone on their toes and you know if we if we do get injuries we've got good enough players to rotate round got SE and doesn't affect the squad and you say he knows this level how important is that that actually if you need him to he can hit the ground running yeah exactly you know sometimes when you get loans in from League it takes a bit of time for them to settle obviously Brett's shown what he's capable of doing in the past so um you know we use that to a good Advantage available for the FA Cup in the trophy as well so that could be useful yeah that's key because you know there's a lot of games coming up in December so everyone will be needed and rotated round and it's good to have someone have that quality available as he looked in training cuz obviously stepen is things not going great there for him no he's looked sharp you know in a two two three sessions that he's done uh finishing has looked very good so you know I've been pleased of what we've seen so far obviously got take into the game and hope you like to say hit the ground running has this week been any different to last week bearing in mind all the whoa arounded the game last week you no we we've been exactly the same you know leading up to chelham there was no different in in the training and how the boys prepared you know we um I thought we put in a good performance and we've got to take that in into the ult game and and um hopefully try and get three points and continue this run was there a little bit less pressure being second than there was being top because obviously now they're finding out how you were feeling for a couple of months yeah I think obviously when you are top you know teams raise their game slightly because they they want to beat the team that's there but you know A team's not going to go the whole season staying thir so for us like I say it might take a bit pressure off the boys and we can you know concentrate on on getting three points and um not have to worry about teams coming to us and raising their game alteram just beginning to find a little bit of form at the moment aren't they yeah they've picked up and they had a good FA Cup win you know um so I think they were different to the side that we played at the start of the season um we've got a good goal scor in Reeves you know we need to make sure that um we're fully on it and making sure that don't take our foot off the gas cuz if we do then you know with the form that they're in will come on stock is there turn around actually just an example of what the FA Cup can do for your league for yeah um FA Cup like you say can give you a bit of form back in the league it also works other ways you can be in the FA Cup too long it can maybe hinder the squad a little bit so um has Advantage disadvantages I think for them it's an advantage that they've managed to pick up and turn their form around and carry that into the league obviously your still cup no one thinking about Oxford at this point though no not yet you know for us the the main goal is to get promoted so you know that's sort will be focusing on Saturday after the weekend hopefully it's a good performance and we can carry that onto Oxford where ni good game to play in and be involved in injes any concerns at the moment no all okay obviously JJ is suspended but everyone else uh is fine so uh looking forward to hopefully a good performance at the weekend and left back's been one of those positions where you've made changes through the season so you've got a number of options there haven't you yeah we've got you know Kel's train today so hopefully there's no reaction to that obviously P has done that in the past so we've got enough players that can fill in um and shouldn't be a problem thank you good luck no worries thank you Jamie the the Ultram win was on the opening day wasn't it the start of the record breaking winning run I know you're on a good run anyway but have you spoken about starting another winning run well yeah so we've we've been on a good run I think you know we want to continue that is once you get beat then you need to sort of regroup quickly and then go again so um we had a bit of a blip and I think the boys have recovered from that and I think it might be six games or what is at the moment we're on so you know we want to try and keep that going for as long as possible yeah and have you spoken to the players about being as up for this one as as you were for ch was that just would go without saying really yeah I mean we shouldn't have to but I think players need reminding you know not to get carried away and um you know not let our standard slip so they we've had little words just to keep everyone on their toes but I think they're professional enough to to go into the game knowing that we need to get three points from it yeah you said that the league is obviously priority cups you can enjoy and everyone loves that but trophy has that been spoken about yet cuz the draw coming up for the first round and how how do you think the club will treat that this season with yeah you know obviously we' probably like to go as far as we can in it I think the younger boys might get like you Ling Aiden to show Gaff of what they're capable of doing but you know we're going into every competition looking to get as far as we possibly can know obviously at the back of the Mind the league is priority of getting out of this league is the main aim yeah and if you look back at the the altering away game to now are you quite pleased with the progress you made yeah I think it's been been good progress you know we've had uh a lot of highs to start the early on part of the Season then we sort of had a bit of a blip and and uh just that to regroup like we said and and go again and the boys have done that so it's just you know finding that level and and maintaining that so um hopefully we can do that yeah and Darren Jones how long you got any idea Jonah uh I'm not too sure I've not spoken to the physio but I think when they spoke before it was you know going to be 3 four weeks from when he was injured so I don't think that's
