all right we're checking out the only games that were specifically made for you not to play it's hidden Google games because Google was made by nerds there are hidden Google games all over the place called Doodles you can actually go through these various tabs and find out there's more than 5,000 of them that are made and they go anywhere from incredibly simplistic to unreasonably elaborate so what am I talking about one of the very first interactive ones was the Google instant launch which doesn't look like anything until you start messing with with it with your cursor now obviously there's really only so much enjoyment you can have by uh like kicking the Google balls of power all around the screen so we're going to try and open up many of the other hidden games so for instance if we go into our search bar and we type in Pac-Man we should be able to indeed play Pac-Man do I have to play the game in like 160p is this going to be like my 2010 YouTube experience oh my God it is oh you can control it with the the number Keys too finally I get to get back at all the quarters this game has stolen from me when I was a child yeah how's it feel it feel good grace still plays remember those days yeah 400 points oh the the reflexes that the gamer has evolved at this point in life is vastly beyond the scope of something like Pac-Man I say as I die listen you used to have to pay for this level of entertainment all right so then for the 155th anniversary of the Pony Express you would type in Pony Express I love that everyone knows what to do you don't need the Google doodle Pony Express and you would be able to play the Pony Express game I love that neither of the characters in this game are happy to be here like both the guy and the Pony look very unhappy oh this one gets a tutorial okay so I assume the entire purpose here is to try and collect all of the letters without being slain by the cacti as you can imagine cacti are very very uh dangerous adversaries inside of the I don't know I guess Pony Express World those in rocks those are the two major causes of death in the Pony Express like that right there I feel like what happened was I overcorrected oh I don't even get a break or anything like that you don't get a lunch break nothing you just transition from one horse on to another other horse so what happens when you don't get all the mail to the people like were some of these letters important or is it all just gossip I kind of want to know now what happens if you get zero letters to the end like intentionally you know what hold on how how many how few letters can you does the game even end if you do that poorly is that like what is the convulsing Shadow is this like a murder Shadow was that an orbital strike oh it's snow I thought it was the hand of of God coming down no I don't want stop it I don't want to get the letters I want to lose the letters orbital strike me snow yes run into the fence all right who is the next horse whose life I'm about to ruin that horse is like oh god I've heard about this man he's a psychopath who intentionally wants to run me head first into every single obstacle known to mankind Rock pillars head first okay smaller rock pillars head first look at that a bandit okay I need to get lassoed by the Bandit unfortunately get last I think I actually have to pick up a uh a letter oh maybe I can do this without getting any letters that's amazing bam down to 10 it may be harder to get zero letters than it is to get the letters can I hit the same guy twice I want to get like the same Bandit twice okay so far so good we're down to three there we go perfect zero oh no like it's like forcing me to get a letter I don't want these letters give me this tree all these people are down there they're like Yay the mailman has come yeah guess what the mailman didn't bring a single can I run over the people oh you can't it forces you down to the middle all right let's go into the post office here now we're going to drop off all of our mail at it's zero 100 I love the look of dissatisfaction on the horse's face so for the next one you would type in pizza game and you get to play a pizza game why is there a pizza game for celebrating pizza that's literally it I love that this list for this culinary art is called the UN representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity pizza is that important all right so let us play the Google The Google pizza game here oh you get some uh you get some music with this one cut the pizza to match the toppings all right does it matter how I cut it like can I cut it can I cut it like this what am I what is the point okay someone just gets the diet slice over here I love how even as messed up as I did this I still got two out of three stars pepperoni does this mean that that we need nine slices or what or you need like nine pepperonis on each slice I feel like I've been underwhelmingly allowed a low amount of pepperonis how small can the slices get okay that's oh hold on right there someone got that tiny slice down here too ah white pizza okay so someone they want like three slices of mushroom pizza hold on here I think I can do this so if if you're trying to do it legitimately there's one slice of mushroom pizza hold on we're not done yet I I got this hold on I think I I think I can even do it like this there we go bam right there no one gets the middle who was the one that put these toppings on this is like the most halfhazard topping assembly I've ever seen on a pizza it's like someone just had a bucket of toppings they just slopped it on there and they're like ah just send it out the party that gets it they can figure out how to distribute the toppings you know I pay someone for this right oh God all right there and we'll do this perfect I get one slice left to get two slices of pepperoni and Olive I think I may have screwed myself maybe if I go like this it'll count it it did not what that I was just messing around this game now was that a cat I'm pretty sure a cat took one of those slices I wasn't really paying attention up until this point anyway if you wanted to learn every single Pizza known to mankind I guess this is a good way to do it so then you have the garden Gomes game where you type in gardnes game and you get to play The Garden Gomes game never knew that Garden Gomes had such a fleshed out and elaborate history they absolutely do use your trusty catapult or trebuchet to launch your clay gnomes into the furthest reaches of your garden all right who's ready to die for the cause oh you even get a history lesson before you play if you don't want to know about history and you just rather fail history you could just skip the intro though plant 70 M of flowers okay ye it I am I am great at throwing people to their Doom it's one of my skill sets are other gnomes more aerodynamic give me this one all right big man you're up roll it okay he's very bouncy did I just get launched out of a oh my God that was the best I had no idea that the real game had nothing to do with launching your gnome at all it had to do with Crash Landing into the right stuff he's I'm going to get launched again are you ready we're going like a kilometer with this gnome he's still rolling it's going to be a new world record for Gnome tossing there it is again for Gnome tossing distance I feel like I'm about to get almost like a high score in this game with no re oh you understand why how he got so big he had like a log and he broke it down just to make firewood to you know cook up some uh some BR worst all right Madam how about you what is what is your special ability besides being unreasonably light she like a like a lawn dart more than a gnome you could probably end up harming someone with that pointy cap it's so sharp I had no idea you can also force your gnome did I just bounce off of a cloud oh wow they put way too much effort into this game I was going to say you can like force your gnome to hit the ground as hard as possible it's pretty awesome Yep my mustache compels me all right look at that stash it is truly awesome I I just broke the game I just started clicking like spamming the click button to see what would happen and my gnome traveled underground and went back to before the game starts my score is -2 this is why I love hidden games like this because I just have a real enjoyment of finding ways to break things in general so anything that's hidden is very appealing to me as you can imagine you can't have all these gaming Doodles without celebrating someone involved in gaming and so there is a Gerald Jerry Lawson's 82nd birth day doodle I have never played anything on the Fairchild channel f system but now I'm legitimately curious I do however know about the Atari 2600 so clicking on the Google here on the TV screen we now get to play the doodle this is Jerry Lawson press the arrow keys to move okay you get tutorial on this one too does he have a jump no what is this up here this like how to go home oh there's multiple games oh they got like a turbo breakout over here okay what else is there that what did that say did that say try again turkey hold on that's like one of my favorite foods it did try again Turkey right there okay I think I'm am I a squid or what am I well I can kind of move but not really okay gigantic demon skulls trying to ruin my life that's nice uhhuh I have no idea what that is oh it's like a teleporter you got like a little save area uhhuh what are these like the emails from my boss telling me to get back to work and stop playing video games got to dodge all those get another save area there fantastic and you have the beholder eyes of absolute desecration this is kind of tough because the hit box on this creature is a little weird here we go x what happens if you land on the X oh it's a good thing I got you push the guy onto the X and that'll bring you to level two and then you finally get paid for all of your hard work I love me some random currency laying on the ground like chewing on bit coins over here what else do we have what is this oh this is like this is like some legitimate Graphics here all right yeah bounce on the mushrooms open up the flowers what happens if you fall to your doom you get the turkey okay now we're going like straight anime here ah nothing quite like getting eaten by a penguin hold on I've always wanted this to happen give me that give me that penguin there we go what is the worst things to have happen you in life burning alive and being eaten by gigantic 6ot tall penguins and then find finally we have this over here I noticed they have a lot of side scrollers they really love the side scroller there always more of a racing kind of game guy in this older style what is that that's trying to that's trying to like murder me is that a like a centipede or is it a hot dog with legs I'm not really sure kind of looks like a like a mobile sausage or something I think I just did I just defeat it I think I just defeated it all right now since we have the Olympics going on we have the champ Champion Island Google doodle where you can enjoy such wonderful Olympic sports such as archery and uh uh cyclopses drowning Olympic drowning oh this is a a fully animated like intro here I didn't expect production quality of this level like just from what we've seen so far usually it's you know very simplistic games this is an entire children's cartoon this is like a fully funded cartoon project here oh boy okay let's let's let's play the game welcome to Table Tennis is this like full contact table tennis yep there's a power shot nice all right let's do this yeah who who will survive you like that does it feel good running it it's kind of like pong only a lot more violent oh the big finisher Power Shot all the way at the end I love that there's a limit break for table tennis could it be the chosen one that's right everyone it's me the chosen Lord of table tennis I love that you have to defeat all of the other athletes to restore balance to the island I feel like if I win every single event there's not a lot of balance in that case cuz there's I'm the best at everything that is the definition of imbalance like do you just keep walking forward into the next challenge I thought I would go be the best at another skill so here I am on the beach for the marathon you have to Dodge in the marathon is someone going to be like shooting at me or what's going on here okay oh I see you don't want to step on the sand fair enough and then there's random octopuses shooting at you as well oh yeah oh we are anime running anime running this let's do it out of the way I'm here I'm here to maintain maintain balance and when I say maintain balance I mean I'm here to be the best at literally everything in the game I'm going 38 kmph oh my God I told you I liked racing games I'm the winner I like how everyone else gets a cart and I'm just running on foot oh this wind has a full action like a full cut scene there is a Halloween 2020 Google doodle where a poor ghost is shucked out of the heavens and then he slams into your pirate ship killing everyone on board and laughs at you about it so you must avenge your people I really have no idea what this story line is about none of this makes any sense at all defeat a ghost by drawing its symbol oh boy oh this is like some DDR level stuff here you have to draw in order to harm people look at this bam look at that right there oh yeah you like you like partial triangles the ghost is like no I don't look at this we got a squiggly we got that we got these there's a line there's a circle I I think that was a power up I really they're I guess they're friends I don't know I don't have a lot of friends in this world I've pretty much just slain anyone who has come close to me anyone else anyone else want a piece who are you what is your symbol oh they've been possessed they're the boss you have to draw all the boss symbols oh yeah oh wow it's like multi level this is like the uh the Dark Soul of drawing you got to do it again how many times you have to win I love that they damage You by electrocuting you that's right give me your soul so I can drink it say hello to the immortal jellyfish I know it's Immortal because I'm pretty sure I've slain it like 30 times oh wow oh you just eventually you just get to the point where you are just like like everything around you is dying look at this giant school of fish because you and I fish don't get along you must die give me your points come here jellyfish or whatever you are little little pumpkin fish yeah there we go protect me I'm not very good at drawing I mean like my drawings themselves are very poor and so trying to draw exactly what's on the screen is particularly hard for me playing this game I understand even less of the storyline now I'm pretty sure I'm like the Harry Potter of cats I guess my job is just to end everyone who isn't me there's the ghost Lord you got got to stop him see he's coming in he's coming in hot got to give him the old backand before he gets there and then draw a million of those I like straight lines if you could just if you could just keep giving me straight lines I would love that I love that it's just like a it's just like a gigantic angler fish that you're trying to stay away from what happens when you get eaten by it oh the game just ends okay fair enough I love how all the other fish are like making fun of me they're like you killed our families and I'm like yeah well I didn't finish the job apparently then of course we have Earth Day with key themes such as fictional animals like bees you thought bees existed you were wrong okay so how do I how do I save planet Earth today we celebrate our planet and one of its smallest and most critical fictional characters the bee I'm assuming it means that this is not a real bee like it's not going to fly out of my screen and come land on me not that it itself doesn't exist so what do you do what you drag the bee around okay begin okay I [Music] oh got to make all the different flowers grow look at that right there come my floral children roll continue on I am pollinating everything oh I have I have like little bee friends over here too my bee does little disco moves this is probably one of the most relaxing games I think I've ever played in my life you have to go with the colors that you have see now I have orange as well so I can pollinate like everything there's my one little my one little yellow chunklet I got another red chunklet that I can use give it to him give him a green one grab a blue one I got two greens so I can poate both these that's how it works okay I can feel my blood pressure going down playing this game and we have some wonderful card games going on here with Lotteria I hope I'm pronouncing that like vaguely correctly oh this one is fully voice acted thank you for saying for me oh this is like Bingo random match am I playing against people oh you are that's right get roll on in here come on everyone you can tell these games are pretty secretive because I've been sitting on three players for a while there we go all right we got one I need what is this I need a the sun okay I need a line I don't have any of these I'm like the most unlucky person in the entire universe I have that yeah now we're rolling here we go you know it's good when you can roll all of the RS we're almost there we can do this come on I have no idea what was just sitting there with it like laying around but you got to say it to win it baby and then of course one of the most famous ones is the T-Rex game like this thing is everywhere there's an ad for it all you have to do is just press the up and down buttons and you're ready to roll jump over the cactus why is it always cacti no idea cacti are obviously the like man's worst enemy like guess T-Rex's worst enemy in this case I like how there's a duck button but I haven't actually had to duck under anything there's a random bird there's another bird you can set your name I like turkey nice is it always the same or is it different now again I I think the environment is definitely different every time did someone program like an AI to get the highest score in this already I feel like my attempts to do this are fruitless one because again I I'm terrible at Sid scrollers I think I just have an inherent desire to end the life of any creature that I am utilizing inside of a game really doesn't matter what the game is I love that Dumbo is the number three high score for today yeah see once you get to around 250 they start throwing birds at you look at that bird right there another bird Bird right there wait for them to start doubling up on Cactus really 500 was like as far as I wanted to get that was more just a personal achievement than anything else I had no idea that you could make this even larger also you could like stomp it to the ground which makes your job a lot easier by pressing the down button so like at points it becomes hard to jump over the cactus because they're so close together but you can kind of do it by just pressing down I am the apex predator of Google well this is like way better than I ever meant to do in this game I this is probably like four times better than I had any expectation of going into this game at like I never thought I would be over 500 the fact that I'm at like 1200 is kind of amazing right now for me it's the small victories in life okay oh I think I'm going to go ahead and retire at this point at three times better than my own expectations ever allowed anyway folks hope you enjoy this episode of hidden Google
