Just as schools are about to start. Start cases of COVID-19 are rising here in Iowa. With the increasing cases, there is a new variant you should have on your radar. It's called KP 311. The new variant has accounted for between 31 to 43% of the national cases. As of last week, the CD DC currently has Iowa among the states showing COVID activity level as substantial and likely growing. The symptoms of COVID include congestion, cough, fatigue, headache and chills. And according to the CDC, people can return to normal activities after being symptom free for 24 hours.
