NCAA Rebuild, But I Can Only Recruit in Idaho

this rebuild is probably going to be impossible I want to fix the vandals with only players from Idaho because Idaho and the Kibby Dome won't be in the new game but the state only generates a few prospects per season and we're starting down at a 53 overall to make matters worse our Rivals Boise State will probably steal a ton of recruits from us and beating them is just one of the six challenges that I have to complete in today's video if I fail any of those I have to give away a copy of college football 25 to a random commenter and even in the Mountain West we going to struggle I barely won a championship with Hawaii doing this last year but Idaho produces half the amount of players that y does and I also didn't have to complete a bunch of challenges so before we start every season I'll get to spin this wheel one time and we're putting a 68 overall in idah help there's a feature in NCA football 14 before you set up your recruiting board to create a prospect and every year that wheel is going to give us one custom position at the overall that it lands on and I think we could use an offensive lineman there's no guarantee that we're ever going to get the player we created but Nick should be in this custom database and there are 16 players from Idaho which is more than I think we're normally going to get another frustrating thing that we're going to run into is there's going to be certain guys that deal breakers and I don't know why playing time is an issue here there's also not a single quarterback or athlete that's on our board so this is not a good start for this rebuild and I cannot believe we already have a bust of the 15 guys that were able to Target a few of them were probably not going to get because they are four stars and I'm going to look and see if there's anybody on this roster that I can red shirt from Idaho but all I found is these guys that are like 57 overalls so that is not a good start once we get to the end of this first season I'm going to have to cut every single player that's not from Idaho and the only game I could even see as having a chance in is is the one against Eastern Washington I genuinely think this might be the hardest thing I've ever attempted because there's almost nobody for us to recruit and it's not like we have good players either we just had 74 total yards of offense in our first game and we have to be very smart about how we use our 5,000 points because we're not able to put 500 on every single player that's here on our board we might not win a game for like the first five seasons of this rebuild and pretty much the best four players on our board were losing points on every single one of them so that is not a good sign I also don't know why so many schools are going after this 46 overall strong safety and I haven't done myself any favors starting as a level three head coach I'm going to get fired a ton as I'm already on the hot seat and I don't think designing new plays can save the roster I'm working with I have a delusional athletic director I have players that don't want to come play for us and five of these guys are already ready for a visit against Eastern Washington in the future we might be playing three FCS schools a year and I'll be hopping into those games but right now our roster not built of players only from Idaho so I'd feel wrong in playing that one next season's when we'll be going all out but we're still losing points on these three guys and I'm just going to sim a couple of weeks into the future I'm not expecting us to win once if we ever do I'll definitely make sure I mention it but the only wins we're going to have for now are signing these 50 overall lineman a 74 overall punter and there's a player Boise State's already stolen I do have a bit of good news though because with Derek Jack for whatever reason Oregon stopped going after him so we might get him after he visits the Kibby Dome and our first coach upgrade is going to go into locksmith so we can jump back into battles we're definitely going to need it at some point this season but we got another few weeks we have to get through and and we haven't won a game but what's sad is I think our roster is going to be even worse next year the guys from Idaho are very limited and I think we lost another battle as Boise State took the lineman that we created and this Center named Brian Peterson if you thought this wheel was going to make things easy it's definitely not and it's not going to be easy to sign any of these top four guys but I think we'll get Derek Jack and we might be able to battle for Adam Thomas the next week we'd sign our first wide receiver Mike Irvin with his 57 catching and Adam Thomas locked us out but this is where we can use that one recruit upgrade to open the door back up and then we're going to jump back up to the top it's also the week that we take on our Rivals but their 30 overall is better than us so we stand no chance in this game and for whatever reason Oregan has decided to start going after Derek Jack again I was hoping maybe Chris Rucker would remove his deal breaker since no one else wants him but he still says he wouldn't get playing time here and to my surprise we would sign a four-star recruit in this class but he's a 59 overall and then Derek Jack decided on Oregon these two battles will probably go to the off season and Adam Thomas we going to have to jump right back into the battle again but there's pretty much zero positive takeaways from this season because I'm getting fired so I'll have to start over as a head coach and our season stats don't matter since everybody from outside of Idaho is getting cut I'm really testing my rebuilding skills here especially since I have to do this with a onear school and I can't even blame somebody for transferring out this tight end from Washington wants to come in but he's not from Idaho so we have to say no and going into the offseason recruiting period Terence horn is probably the only good player that we've been able to sign now I just have to hope that I've divided up these points evenly enough and it looks like Florida state did steal one of the players from us on the bright side though we got wide receiver Adam Thomas and we were never going to put another 9,000 points on Ryan Allen so it kind of worked out for us but the only reason it's saying we have the number 86 class is cuz it thinks we've signed 19 different players and that's because the game automatically does sign like eight players for you but we're just going to go ahead and cut them since I only brought in 11 and it's going to take me forever to make everybody that's not from Idaho a fullback I think what I'm going to have to do since we're not going to have any halfbacks as make one of these two tight ends one even if they're only a 56 and this has to be by far are the worst offensive line that I have ever had in a rebuild on this game after we cut all these fullbacks we're only going to have 15 players from Idaho on this roster and I'm just going to use normal training results in this video My Hope Is at some point the game gives us Walk-Ons that are from Idaho as well but unfortunately for us that didn't even happen once then when it comes to Red shirting I have to wait until players are sophomores because if I do it while they're a freshman there's a decent chance that they'll transfer out for something dumb like playing time and I wasn't kidding when I said we're going to play three FCS schools a year now it's time to see what overall player we're going to get to create though and a 70 is not bad I think I have to make sure that this guy's a quarterback and I'm curious what his overall would be if I maxed out all these stats and didn't touch anything else that takes him up to a 76 so we're going to have to do some adjusting but no matter what we're certainly working with a pocket passer and I'm so nervous to see how many players are from our state only 13 even with the quarterback that we just created and he's the number one Prospect this is actually going to be miserable and at this rate it might take us five or six seasons just to make sure that we don't have Walk-Ons after scouting everybody our created Prospect was still the number one player and these are the stats I was able to get him but I doubt he wants to play for a 37 overall team to make matters worse this athlete is terrible he's probably an offensive lineman and I think Boise State might take our quarterback from us just out of curiosity I want to play with this team once and I can hop into up to three regular season games a year but here's a look at the kiid Dome we have like a 45 overall walk- on in at quarterback but we have a decent running back because we moved over Aaron Thomas from tight end and I can't believe we've been driving down the field so far but there's freshman Adam Thomas he is the one good Prospect we brought in last year and he's going to get a touchdown and as we approach halftime what I've learned with this team is it's really not that terrible to play with there's no simming I definitely have to make sure I take every single snap but we might be able to win a few games a year just by hopping into them and look at our backup running back I'm pretty sure he's a walk on in from another state so we're going to have to cut him but it was nice to have him in this game that I thought we were going to put away until there were about 40 seconds left and they're getting close to scoring we haven't had the best of second halfs but I wouldn't have expected us to we're going to stop them and here on second and goal they're going to try to F us out but it didn't work so we could still technically hold strong and please just make the hit in time that is what we get for not having a good defense and Adam Thomas gets us a little bit here but we have a long way to go if we're going to get our freshman kicker into kicking range I moved that punter that we signed over to that position because I thought it would help but we have to get in range in the first place and that is going to be dropped at the end of the day I knew they'd eventually come back and they're going to continue to clamp us so it went to overtime and we have been struggling we might have a touchdown here though and that is dropped too I don't think we're going to win the first game in this rebuild but we might another time this season and please just throw us an interception this isn't good they continue to get closer and closer to the end zone and we're not going to pick up our first win here Ryan leech led a great comeback but I shouldn't be on the hot seat after one game getting fired every year is just going to make things harder but I'm curious about this battle for the quarterback and Boise State's only gaining 15 a week that is exactly what we needed and I don't know why I'm even simming some of these games week by week because we're not going to win what I'm going to do is make sure that all of our points are on the guys that we want to go after and then simply Advance like 3 or 4 weeks at a time and just see who we can get there certainly won't be any winning that happens during that time because we're so much worse than everybody else on our schedule and we're about to lose out on Lee over so we have to schedule him for a visit as soon as possible things are not looking good considering the Broncos are about to get Adrien Johnson and they already stole Grant Johnson but I'm going to put my meas Lee one coach upgrade into Royal Treatment and could you imagine if we were somehow able to come out on top in that s we didn't but we were able to bring in three different linebackers with another one we're now able to put more points on and the only two players we're going to struggle to land are Adrien Johnson and then Lee no who were within 500 of I'm scared that I'm going to advance three or four more weeks into the future though and we're going to lose one of those guys but there's literally nothing I can do about it and this is the type of stuff that I like to see although we're currently 0 and8 which we all expected we were able to sign every single player on our board besides these two guys and I'm hoping at least Le over can go to the off season if we're losing 50 a week we can expect to lose Adrien Johnson soon but my last Stitch effort is going to be switching up our offense to air raid to see if that makes him want to come here a little bit more which I think would have made a difference in the older games but it doesn't on NCA football 14 I don't think we're going to need to worry about this challenges list for a long time but the one that could happen any season is beating our Rivals Boise State and the Sim system in this game is so fluky so I'm just hoping for an upset as we lose a 62 overall to Boise State it's starting to hit me how difficult this is really going to be and I'm ready to get fired for the second year in a row I can't blame them we still haven't won a game with Idaho but I'm working with walk-on quarterbacks that are atrocious and the guy we moved over from tight end was only able to rush for 254 yards as for our wide receivers surprisingly Adam Thomas didn't do that terribly but I'm a little bit scared that a lot of players are about to transfer out because I had to create a new head coach but that wasn't the case all I can really do here is just throw all of our points in to lean over and thank goodness we signed our first quarterback I also think the computer did a terrible job of going after other players for us because we only have 11 in this class and that makes me really happy because it means I don't have to cut a bunch of players that I wasn't signing myself now we are going to have to put Brian Town send somewhere and I think we're just going to move him over to like left tackle but once again I have to make every single player that's not from Idaho a fullback and I'm just so relieved that we were able to sign our created Prospect we're also going to make this 59 overall tight end to 64 overall wide receiver and it's nice to see that we have a few players on this roster over a 70 and an 80 overall now we could start to red shirt some of these players but I think I'm going to hold off for just a bit longer because when I do it I want to red shirt the entire team and there's a couple winnable games on the schedule now we have to head over to the wheel though and it's going to give us a 68 overall again where I feel like the best thing we could do is get some cornerbacks on this team now it looks like whenever you're doing a created player you're not able to make them an athlete but I have made it so Eden could also play at wide receiver for us if we're able to land the 68 overall and this is always the scariest time seeing how many prospects are from our state but we've never had 19 before and a five star you would think that would get me excited especially since I found a couple of gyms but that doesn't mean that we're going to land any of these guys because at the end of the day we're only back up to a 53 overall and we might always be projected to be the worst team in the country I think it's going to be a long time before we win any of these conference games but we might be able to beat an FCS School this year and in our first one we lose by 20 we're also losing these recruiting battles so bad that we're dropping over 300 or 400 points a week and I've never been in a position where it's that bad before I'm actually really excited for this class though because I think it's going to allow us to build up some much needed depth and the only player we're going to struggle to get now is Marcus Ney he'd be a great halfback to have but he'd also rather be a gopher and I'm hoping I can change his mind mind if we could win this game he's not quite ready for a visit but these four prospects are so we're going to schedule them for it this week and just hope that Lee can lead us to our first win it's still a relief that we were able to land him because even though he's a low overall some of his throwing stats are incredible and if I had to play against him at Boise State for the next four years I'd be so upset we are going to burn the FCS School D and Adam Thomas just ran right by the Eastern Washington Defender last year we put up a good fight against them and we didn't even have a QB so now that everybody's also gotten another year of development things are starting to feel a lot easier and this third down is going to work for them are you kidding me maybe this time we'll get them off the field and they go with another halfback draw but they're breaking a tackle and luckily they're still going to punt it to us ever since then nothing too exciting's happened but they're trying to pull off a comeback again and it is third and six where that route was going to always get open but I knew it was probably coming and you're kidding don't get me wrong we have had a lot of really good stops in this game but there have been a couple of play where I really wanted to get them off of the field and I'm so glad that somebody revamped this IA team because I always enjoyed playing in the kby doen 14 but without revamped I find NCA football 14 almost unplayable now and we are going to be short on third down since team builders in the new college football game though I guess they could still be in college football 25 that is a great move from Adam Thomas and why can't we just close this one out and get the easy win Eastern Washington still has all three of their timeouts so we're going to need a couple first downs on the ground and our offensive line is still terrible but that's expected Thomas is going to get us the first and look at that Aaron Thomas the brother of Adam Thomas is going off so it's nice to have both of them on our roster they're the two star players on this offense and I'm hoping we can be in field goal range because there's still about 30 seconds left and we're just going to have to go for it to end the game which we are going to pick up with Cox it took us three seasons but we have won our first game in this rebuild and I thought it might take us even longer to get that beating FCS schools doesn't really help us though because they only gave us 100 points for that visit win so if we're going to come out on top of a game in a visit week it needs to be against someone like Utah State and by the time that we get to that matchup I have a feeling that we're going to be one in for there's just no way that we pull off a win and I don't think we're going to be able to take down Utah State either but I have to give this my best shot it could be the difference between me getting fired and keeping my job and it's the only way we're staying in the battle for the four-star halfback that we continue to lose points on during those few weeks though we made our first signings in this class including a Juka wide receiver that is 65 and has 94 speed but I'd still much rather have Zack Rich who is another wide receiver from Idaho with a ton of speed on him and I can't believe we're only averaging 8.2 points per game in order to get these guys to come to our school this is is going to have to be our best offensive game yet but I don't think we're going to be able to pull it off I mean I'm using a quarterback that literally has 40 in every category besides his throwing and a bunch of wide receivers that can't catch besides one after they scored I feel like I have done a better job on this second Drive moving it but we also have to be able to keep this pace up for the rest of the game and please tell me that's in apparently we were short so we just have to hand it off and our offensive line is so bad that was painful to watch we should not have struggled that much there and now we've turned the ball over to them so we wasted the one opportunity that we were given to get back into this football game it's only gotten worse from there so I really don't want to talk about it as we drop it again and this visit week is not going to impress anybody we literally let their quarterback do whatever he wanted and it's always the top four guys on our board that we have to put up these huge fights for at least we were able to get our created Prospect again Landing the 68 overall corner but I'm sure as these weeks go on I'm probably going to lose one or two of those battles and this is the week the 75 overall halfback is visiting Minnesota we knew that was probably coming but we did sign 95 speed wide receiver Zack rich and another lineman so I'm happy with how that turned out and our toughest battle is actually for the 58 overall since my job security is this low already as well I'd probably prefer to lose out and then have to restart again but with the next head coach hope that I never get fired I feel like we could make that happen but after losing the Boise State we would drop the rest of our games and the only player on our board that hasn't committed to our school yet is the 68 overall Center the only three players from Idaho that we weren't able to get where the top three ranked ones and I don't think that's too bad since everybody on our team's only going to get better I mean Lee no wasn't the best but he also could have turned it over a lot more than he did and Adam Thomas is coming very close to being a thousand-yard receiver on this terrible team we also had a freshman rack up 7 and 1 half sacks and another one rack up a 100 tackles so even if I'm being reset to a level three head coach I think we'll be just fine and the only player that we lost was a punter to replace him we're going to need a special teams player from Idaho and that could take years to happen again but it's saying we have the 48th best class and this was a good one but I just know that I'm going to have to cut a ton of players surprisingly we actually have a lot of wide receivers now so I'm going to move at least one of them over to halfback and with players improving this much things are trending upwards but we're still taking Walk-Ons as 10 of our 51 guys are from another state and we're going to start losing players to graduation soon so we might need to bring in red sharting if we're going to do it I think we should just do it on everybody and sacrifice this season but there is a limit on how many players you can red shirt which is an issue we are going to run into I'm also going to be very salty if any of the red shirted freshman transfer out but we'll just see what happens with that and our created Prospect is going to be a 74 overall all since we don't need any specific position immediately I think it's best if we just make this guy an outside linebacker because then we could also move him to defensive line if needed but there's only 12 players in the state of Idaho this year to make matters worse we need cornerback Tyler Anderson but he is a deal breaker on us because our program tradition isn't good enough we're probably not going to get the linebacker that we created either because he's such a high overall so Patrick Fischer could have been useful but he busted to a 49 only being able to recruit an Idaho is a mess but we're only 10 players away from not having to have a walk-on on our team and we actually projected of a better season than akan this year that's not going to happen though because we red shirted everybody and as a 52 overall Team without a quarterback we're just going to sim everything I think taking a gap year like this though could be extremely helpful for us even if I know going into every single one of these Sims were not going to come out on top the reason for that is we're supposed to land pretty much every player on our board including this 69 overall cornerback but the one guy we're not going to get his CLE or created Prospect because Notre Dame is just destroying us so I'm glad we found Brandon Harris who also plays linebacker and he's going to slot in nicely we're also getting another quarterback and Von Smith but by week five everybody's ready to visit versus Montana and even if they destroy us I think we're going to have a lot of players commit this week so I'm excited to see that well it wasn't as many as I expected but we did find a punter so that's huge and also another halfback alongside pulling away further on some of these prospects and coming a bit closer on our created one he visits Notre Dame week eight though so by the time we get to week N9 I'm expecting him to be committed there and I think it might have even happened a bit sooner because he's already been removed from our board on the bright side though we've signed every other player besides Brandon Harris and he's so close to coming to Idaho which means this season's already over especially if we lose this game and of course we did I'm going to get fired again but that's nothing new and even if it was a small recruiting class I'm happy with pretty much every single player that we were able to sign from our state besides Patrick fiser it's also going to be a while before we can beat Boise State but if we're ever going to complete our first challenge in this rebuild that's going to be the one that we probably finish first so that's something that I'd love to do but in the span of Four Seasons we've only won one game with all the red shirts as well I'm surprised that Aaron Thomas rushed for almost 1,000 yards but he put on a show and wide receiver Max Webb is going to graduate red sharting Lee was a great decision though and I just have to hope that none of the other red shirts transfer out it's hard to believe that I'm already on to head coach number five and there's no telling how many of these versions of me there's going to be by the end of this rebuild but I sacrificed last season so we could be good this year and of course we're losing two of our best freshmen to the transfer portal and I can't convince either of them to stay those two would have developed so well but we do have a couple of guys here that can replace them and I don't care that our class didn't even finish in inside the top 100 with our strong safety transferring out though we have to find somebody else that can play here and Junior Kyle Nichols might be our best option because he is fast enough to play at that position to be honest though I think this season I'm going to Red Shure every other player that we weren't able to last year because there's multiple seniors on this roster that would be even better if we just made them sit out for at least another season but the one thing I'll make sure I never touch again is red shirting freshman because they will transfer out I am hopeful that we're still a high enough overall to beat some of the FCS teams though and let's see what overall of recruit is going to be joining us in this class 67 I think I'm going to make another cornerback because those seem to be very limited but I accidentally hit set up recruiting board before I was able to create a prospect so we just don't get one this season because I'm an idiot and at least there's 16 players from the state that we can go after almost half of them are onear though so I'm not sure how much that helps us and I can't believe I accidentally just skipped right over that but please tell me one of these guys is decent the highest overall player available here is going to be a punter but there are a couple linemen that I would like to get so it's not the worst class in the world and we're down to just five Walk-Ons outside of our state on this roster the issue is some players are going to start to graduate though and it says we're supposed to lose at least five seniors so I'm super relieved to see we're sitting at a 70 overall even if we're projected to be the worst team in our division we're not far behind all the other teams and our team overall looks like it is still the worst in the country but I know for a fact we're much higher than the FCS schools and they still destroyed us I'm not going to lie that was pretty rough so I just hope we can get these couple good prospects that we actually have a chance at and you have got to be kidding we're losing 300 points a week on one of the best linemen I've seen and I have to hope beating Montana can change that around we have to hop into this one we have no choice because we saw what happened last week when we simmed against an FCS school and I am not proud of the fact that it's taken me the entire first half to get down to the end zone apparently Mike Irvin didn't get in there but he should here and this entire game has been a struggle on Fourth and six though we are going to have our slant to Thomas so all we need to do is continue feeding Adam Thomas and he's going to to bring in another now that we're up to a 70 overall I do feel like things are coming together a little better but I'm really worried that we're just not going to get the prospects we need in the future to win a championship recruiting and only Idaho has been really difficult and I'm just glad that we've started to pull away a little bit in this game because I was getting worried for a split second Thomas breaks one and now I have to look for his brother on this play where he catches it but doesn't get enough I am feeling pretty good about our offense just based off this game though and most of the guys on this team have a couple of Seasons left so we should be fine for a bit I think we have to make sure that we Shure everybody through the time that they're here though because that gives them another year to upgrade like five overalls and as guys are ready to visit our school we're going to make sure they're all scheduled for North Dakota State before that game though we have this one and I have a feeling it's not going to go well but we'll see and that was pretty brutal I think if we can just win this I won't get fired and I'm assuming that it's going to go well but they're one of the better FCS schools so we'll see about that what I've learned is as long as you can get defensive stops you'll be just fine you don't even have to score that much and Anthony McDaniel is going to get the interception he's going to get free and he is gone to the crit that type of start is all that we needed to start running away with it from the beginning and we're so close to reaching the end zone again but Eddie young does not get in I couldn't tell you why he went backwards there but we should still be fine and just get it here and I don't think North Dakota State's going to be able to come back I mean we haven't scored since but we also haven't really needed to because if we just pick up one more first down we could end this game and we got even more than that with Adam Thomas catching the touchdown I'm pretty sure he's only a junior which is huge because I think he's going to end up getting drafted into the NFL and we'd make a few signings with that win but the highest overalls are just Jos which really doesn't help us the two players that we really need to land are here at the top of our board with Mike Buchanan and Craig Hill but that's probably not going to happen and why is Boise State trying to steal a 60 overall corner from us we're not going to get that kid either and I just can't believe how annoying they've been so far but we almost just beat Hawaii and Sim which would have been amazing and I really hope I'm able to jump back into this battle by opening the door which is going to put us all the way up to number two just through simming a couple more weeks we got some overall is a halfback a punter and then this tackle and this is probably our best match up on paper versus a conference team I think the third game that I want to hop into though has to be the one against Boise State because if we play well enough I feel like there is a chance that we could upset the Broncos and even if we don't win again I don't think I'm going to get fired here in week nine though both Jamal Wade and Craig Hill are going on visits at Boise State so I'm going to advance the week and by the time we get there they're probably going to be committed as a Bronco which is so frustrating to see and we've been locked out from the tackle again I saved a head coach upgrade though so we could get locksmith level two and as long as we can get this battle to go to the off season we're going to be just fine Mike's also coming on a visit against boy state so that would make it even sweeter if we're able to beat them and that's coming up next week this is the first time we've even had a chance against our Rivals but they're having a good year only losing by one possession and their two losses and I really want to be the reason that they don't make the Mountain West Conference Championship they've been stealing recruits from us for years so we have to pass them up and I'm surprised that the Kibby Dome is not anywhere near full this place should be packed out but they already have us on a third and 16 and their defense is good that's why it's crucial that we're able to hold them to just a field goal here and I almost got to that ball but even if I couldn't I'll definitely take this I don't like that they keep getting us to these third and Longs and our best wide receiver is not getting any separation but I did just remember that we do have a guy with like 95 speed and we barely had enough time to even get that one out into an interception if they return this as well I am going to be so salty but you can already see things aren't working out and they'd follow that turnover up with the touchdown so we really need to be able to respond here which we do Adam Thomas found the open space in the Boise State Defense and I'm terrified of what they're going to draw up on this third and 12 but our manto man coverage looked like it was doing well and we just have to make the hit this is a big moment in this game and that cover two is not going to stick with young he's down to the three so now we just have to make sure this is the final drive of the half and I think we've taken enough time off the clock now we can try to score well that wasn't ideal right there but I'm sure the halfback angle route will get open and the fact that we're kind of doing well right now makes me superc excited we're even catching this ball with our tight end as well so Justin Cox is putting in the work and he should also Come Away with this never mind that was Mike Irving but it's still a good catch and it would be such a big deal if they only got a field goal on this drive but we're generating absolutely zero pressure and I'm surprised they're kicking the extra point I think if we're going to win this game there can only be a couple of possessions left and nover is going to use his big arm to get it all the way down the field to Adam Thomas so the play action just worked wonders for us and I feel like that should have confused them more than it did I'm really happy with how things looked going into this fourth quarter though and Zack Rich was on the end of that touchdown catch now they would score again and they're probably going to get the two-point conversion as well I see multiple players open but their quarterback just didn't get the ball out and with a few minutes left we just have to hope that we're able to run out the rest of this clock this is the best our offensive line has ever been so I feel like we should be able to do it and in the end we were beating Boise State for the first time their fans do not look very happy about it but I'm thrilled because that knocks off our first challenge in this video we'd also get the 67 overall tackle to commit to our school and this is the first time that I feel like we've taken a real step forward as a program I know 3 and N isn't great but it's much better than what's been happening and the fact that I'm not getting fired is such a big deal even if we still finished at the bottom of our division it feels so good to finally have a bit of positive momentum and I just realized that Mike Irvin is 66 at running back he needs to be playing wide receiver where Adam Thomas is just dominating and compared to his freshman season Lee doubled both the touchdowns and the turnovers our freshman linebacker had 118 tackles though while Joey Taylor had seven sacks and it might have taken us five seasons to get three wins but I don't care Adam Thomas can't declare for the NFL draft though because we need him to stay which he decided to do and we are losing a kicker a defensive tackle a halfback and a corner that are going to hurt us Aaron Thomas's brother doesn't have another year of Eligibility but he served us well and it kind of makes sense why this recruiting class was ranked so low we didn't get many of the guys that we wanted with these higher overalls just being but it still worked out decently well for us and we have to make one of these punters a kicker another thing we need is a serviceable defensive tackle so that's where Tom Leonard's going and we got a lot of guys here at strong safety so I'm just going to move the seniors over to Corner they might only be like 50 overalls but I think they'll be higher than the Walk-Ons we get and there was no purpose in me signing this 41 overall because there's nowhere where he's going to be good I think it's important to fill up the roster with players from Idaho though so that's what I've been doing and I'm pretty sure this team's only going to get two Walk-Ons we have some really good players on our roster which is why I'm so excited for the season and it looks like there's three players from other states this year I have to make sure that I don't skip straight to recruiting so we're spinning this wheel now while I'm thinking about it and it's going to give us a 67 again as long as he is 90 speed he should be serviceable but we still have to beat out schools like Boise State for him probably and 19 players from Idaho is huge with a fourstar quarterback and defensive end this might just be the best class that we have ever seen from the state but we still have to scout all these guys and I know it's a Jo athlete but it was just about time we found a solid athlete in recruiting as for our red shirts the second somebody hits their sophomore year that's when it's happening and even though some of those guys on our offensive line were starters surprisingly it's not going to hurt us because we have some red shirt seniors to put in now the one position where I might need to remove it is here at corner because we don't have many good ones but either way I know that we're set up to have our best season yet and the fact that we're coming in at a 79 overall is wild this is probably going to be our best chance to make a bowl game in the next few years because we are going to lose a lot of good seniors but we could take down some of these other teams in our conference it's the next day now and I've put together a recruiting board these are the prospects that we're going to be going after but there are some that I'm not going to be able to pursue immediately because we just don't have enough enough points I haven't been the smartest with how I've used all of our upgrades but Montana should be a matchup that we easily come out on top of and they beat us by five that's so frustrating since we've gotten up to a 79 overall and I know this next one probably won't go well for us either as we are going to drop that too I don't know how these Mountain West teams are getting to such high overalls but I've never seen that happen in a dynasty Sim before this deep into it and we're going to go to 0 and3 I'd be pretty upset if things weren't going so well for us in recruiting but I think we're going to get every single Prospect that's here on our board besides our created corner and maybe this quarterback too those are definitely going to be some tougher battles but they're the two with the good stats so I want to make sure we land them and I think we could jump into a lead if we had a good visit week they're all going to be scheduled for this one against Nevada and it looks like we need to pass for 250 yards that is definitely very doable and we cannot embarrass ourselves here because I genuinely thought we would make a bowl game this year and it no longer seems very likely on our first third and 10 we're going to get to Midfield though so I'm just hoping that we can continue to have a good drive to start the game and they're going with manto man coverage which means our best wide receiver is going to get open Adam Thomas has to be drafted into the NFL but I'm hoping he can help us knock off even more challenges and we had enough time to get this one out to go inside the five our defense has played well so far and our offenses too but we definitely struggle to run the ball more than passing and that takes us to the two big third and goal here where our tight end gets open and Justin Cox puts us up by 14 points here in the first quarter we've been able to maintain that lead and I think I'm just going to throw this one up to our best wide receiver who just made an incredible catch making sure that he was also able to drag a foot in the end zone at the end of the day we just figured things out and they aren't going to score a single touchdown so that's an impressive win with a lot of recruits visiting and we easily cleared passing for 250 yard it was a much needed performance making sure that we got this wide receiver and then the created Prospect we made but we couldn't quite generate enough points to make sure that we landed this quarterback so all those upcoming visit weeks scare me a bit QBs are very hard to come by Idaho since V's the only other one that's naturally generated during the entire rebuild and without that wheel spin to create a prospect I don't think this is even possible now I can see our team getting a little bit of momentum but we have to be able to win games in Sim not just on the field and there's one we got with Eastern Washington coming up next we should find ourselves sitting back at 500 we won in overtime and it shouldn't have been this close but I'll take the right result we're starting to pick up some momentum as we've signed multiple other good prospects including athlete Chad Nolan that we wanted and like I said at the beginning of the year the only real battle we're going to have this season is for the QB it's going to be helpful in the future that I shouldn't be fired as well and I was not expecting to see ourselves at the top of the standings with two conference losses compared to the other division in the Mountain West ours is terrible and we've lost to the two opponents here so if we win out in conference play we'd be in the Mountain West championship and I think this road game is one I have to hop into after that slow start we've really turned things around and if we win this one we're going to be on a 4game winning streak that's a lot of pressure especially since they scored first but I'm trying to do my best to respond right back and we do it is always Adam Thomas that's able to save the day for us and on a long third and 14 they are going to throw it short which means we just have to make one tackle and we do by the end of the third quarter it is still a tie game though so we haven't been able to pull away and we have a huge fourth and inches coming up it could be a great way to open up the fourth quarter though and our offensive line is going to hold their blocks this time now it looks like they're going to run some sort of Zone coverage that we are going to take down to the five and we're going to get our 66 halfback out in space where he has nobody in front of him this is an easy touchdown there's honestly a lot of pressure on our defense right now to get a stop because it would be so big if we were actually competing for Mountain West championship and I think we have the roster to do it on Third and five though they're going to pick up the first I've gotten numerous stops in positions like this before though and I should get the interception here but Luke Matthews didn't hold on to it so that is really unfortunate we could have used the Stop and their quarterback's probably going to find somebody open we have 51 seconds to get into field goal range and they're definitely playing far back against us but that should just make it easier to dot up their defense and we are throwing up the 50/50 ball to Thomas it is rare to see him drop something like that but it can happen Happ so we're going to have to pick up something here to Robinson who look quick and I'm pretty confident that as long as we get to like the 20 yd line we're going to be just fine but they're going to get the interception I don't know what I was thinking I legitimately might have just choked this game for us if they are able to get into field goal range in the next like 20 seconds and I cannot believe that they actually just got a stop against us do not tell me they're about to get there somebody please make the tackle this is not good I'm going to try to ice their kicker but it didn't work and I think this game is over we're not going to talk about how bad I chok that because we really should have won it and I'm just glad it's not stopping more players from committing to Idaho it also looks like Boise State dropped out of this battle and we're finally a higher overall than a Mountain West opponent so maybe this season's not completely over yet because our division is literally so bad and against Air Force we lost by 31 when you've been so bad for so long Sim normally doesn't favor you in this game but at least of the 19 players from Idaho in this class we signed 18 of them and the only one we couldn't snag was the 62 overall tackle that decided on Boise State and dead we didn't have the points to pursue him and they're probably about to beat us here as well but if we came out on top we could still make a bow and that's just sad another result that didn't go our way we do beat an FCS school though and then to end the season against Wyoming we're going to get destroyed so we're finishing at 4 and8 at the bottom of our division but it's still a minor Improvement through the six years that we've rebuilt them it's the best that we've done so far and I hope Lee is a really good senior year here at Idaho it does s that we're going to lose our 66 halfback who I think I converted from wide receiver earlier on in the rebuild and then also Adam who put up the only good receiving numbers on this team but players can't stay around forever and we're losing a couple of high overall Defenders as well San Diego State's quarterback actually won the Heisman too so that helps put the Mountain West on the map but Lee is declaring for the NFL draft early and it also looks like our freshman halfbacks transferring out just when we get some momentum our Star Quarterback leaves to be a seventh round pick but at least we were able to knock off our Second Challenge in this video and I can't accept either of these transfers because they're not from Idaho I know we put together a pretty good recruiting class Landing everybody that that we wanted and it finished pretty high compared to other ones but I'm so annoyed we just lost a lot of really good players and our best guys this year are seniors too so it's becoming harder and harder to make progress and instead of putting Chad Nolan at wide receiver I think I'm going to throw him at free safety since we lost a freshman running back we also have to find somebody to throw a halfback and it's a good thing that we found someone like Rich Davis because he becomes a 73 I'm definitely having to move around multiple positions to make things work but I think if we just make this worst cornerback that's a senior quarterback so we have three of them every single player on this roster will be from Idaho for the first time in this rebuild and I feel like that's pretty impressive considering we found 63 players from the state we're now at a point where we can red shirt 67 overalls instead of having to start them and that's huge because for a while we couldn't even build an offensive line now the one thing that's really going to hurt us is in two seasons both of these cornerbacks graduate so my created Prospect honestly might be another corner but I'm a little scared there's also not going to be a tight end in the next couple of years it might be boring but I did decide on just making another DB and we're about to see if that was the right decision only 11 players from the state this year with a few four stars and there are some corners but no tight ends this is tough because this season it says we're going to lose 12 seniors and I have to make sure we only have players for Idaho but even if we land all 11 of these guys that's not going to cover for our losses and there are a couple of really good players with the highest overall being a 78 strong safety if we could pull that one off I would be so excited and just like last year we're a 79 overall if we didn't lose our quarterback to the draft it would have been higher but sophomore Von Smith has 3 years left and I'm excited to see where he can get the vandals even if our projections are not good as long as we keep improving getting at least five wins this season I'll be happy and this class could be pretty useful with some linebackers wide receivers corners and then this strong safety but in order for that to be the case we have to actually land all of them and to open up the year we scored a ton Bon Smith might be exactly what we needed throwing three touchdowns and we're also a higher overall than Eastern Michigan but before we finish the rest of this Idaho rebuild award from prize picks today's video sponsor allows me to put more points on these prospects which is very important because we are not winning on both Jonathan Sparks and then the strong safety but they are winnable battles now that we've added 50 to each one and I'm hoping that they're available to schedule for a visit because next up is number 13 San Diego State we just have to advance the week and see if we're actually able to schedule them but if they are and then we we won that game they'd probably commit on the spot and this is big we've already landed two different players from our state but now we're taking on the reigning Heisman winner and a team that's currently sitting at number 10 in the PO so we could probably get everybody else if we pulled off the upset I feel like it is a real possibility but our sophomore quarterback has to play well and they've already gotten down inside the red zone so I'm not exactly thrilled about that where their quarterback takes it in we no longer have an amazing receiver to throw it to on every single play and their Corner stuck with our halfback really well but I thought that flat zone wasn't going to stick with him and this is not how we needed to open things up versus them but we're going to get the safety that is a massive defensive hold but they could get us off the field on fourth down and that is a huge hole because of that we could take a lead if we finish off this drive but we're probably going to have to throw the ball and that's going to be off Target what on Earth was that pass it was meant to go to our tight end but it went all the way to the right side of the field and I'm starting to think that this one's not going to go as good as we wanted it to I hope the refs review that because there's no way that was a touchdown and I had to throw the challenge flag if he got his foot in here I would be incred impressed and it looks like he might have so I was wrong and why are all of our fans facing away from the field I guess they're embarrassed by how our offense played here in the first half and we still haven't gotten into the end zone but it has to be coming the fact that this one's not over after how bad we open things up is just impressive Ellison's having an amazing game and if we get the two-point conversion we'll be up by three I might have let them get into field goal range though and on Third and eight they have way too much time back there but we still stopped the Heisman winning quarterback so I'm proud of what our defense has done throughout this entire game and even though we're in a dome I thought they missed it to be honest I might just take things really slow and hope this is the final drive because we are very close to being able to pull off this upset versus the number 10 team and on Third and one Wes Ellison's going to get blown up it might cost us the game but I am going for it here and we hold on to the football so we're continuing our drive down the field versus the Aztecs and by now I think we've set ourselves up well enough to just kick the gamewinner at the end we have come a long way so far and this one is going to be down the middle making us 3 in one with our biggest win in school history Wes Ellison definitely carried us to it but it's important to keep in mind that he is a senior so I'm hoping one of these wide receivers we just landed can replace him at running back I didn't think it would be possible but we've already signed all 11 players from the state so all we have left to do this season is just play the remaining games on our schedule and of course there's another ranked team from the Mountain West but it's also winnable which could help us even more this is our chance to really put Idaho on the map and if we can beat teams like them in San Diego State we can be anybody in our conference it might have taken us the entire first half but we're going to get the first touchdown and now we just need to hold on with a minute and a half left we'd get an interception just a few plays later and now we're going to throw this laser over the middle so even though Hawaii started this game off with a decent lead over us only three points now they find themselves down by 11 going into the third quarter where we'd score again and we've just done everything right that we needed to in this game there's another turnover from Hawaii this has been incredible from our defense and I can't believe how many mistakes they're making our freshman Corner was able to get that one and with this corner route we're down inside the five but Rich actually dropped that ball so now it's it's third and 10 I'm going to wait for the wheel route to get open and that worked out exactly how it needed to I think it's pretty obvious that Hawaii is not coming back and I'm not sure why they were even ranked we literally destroyed their defense but if we're going to make the Mountain West Conference Championship we still have a long way to go and I think we're getting every tough matchup we could Nevada's 4-1 on top of the other division right now and I have to save the last game that I can hop into for Boise State or Colorado State so we had to sim but that didn't work and I have a feeling this is where things could start to go downhill either way we're one win away from making a bow now so I can't complain and I wish I would have known the Air Force beating us would put them up to the number one spot they have the tiebreaker over us so now they need to lose twice while we win out and I don't see that happening that means we're just going to continue to sim if we beat Colorado state that would be amazing but that's not going to happen whenever Von Smith's throwing four interceptions and Boise State's a lot better than us I still think we'll either take them down or San Jose State it's got to be one of those two teams and we're now a lock for a ball game which is all that I was really looking for in this season obviously we've lost enough to where Air Force is just going to run away with our division but we had a couple of really impressive wins and I'm sure a lot of players on our roster have developed I think it's safe to say that our offense couldn't keep up with our defense but Von Smith made it so both seniors Eddie young and Kevin Robinson had really good years and he had 500 yards on the ground as well which is really good for a QB now I figured we'd be a lock for a bowl and that's why I only put one FCS school on our schedule but San Jose State and Nevada made it instead of us so I guess there's only a certain amount of teams from the Mountain West that can get in if I knew that was going to happen I would have hopped into one of those final games but we still improved throughout that year and we have a player going on to the NFL which is why it's so disappointing the quarterback we just recruited that's a freshman is transferring to play at Oregon I didn't even red shirt him because I wanted him to stay but no instead we lose one of our key pieces for the future and it better not be because of the quarterback that we picked up in this class that was literally a 51 overall that was probably the worst news that we could have gotten there and of all of the wide receivers that we have our best option is just to move players like Chris Boyd and also Derek Hayden over there where I'm going to red shirt at least one of them I'm starting to realize that clearing about an 80 overall is going to be really hard to do because every single season we lose more players and if it wasn't for a walk-on quarterback this entire roster would have been built out of Idaho again there is some good news though is we've maxed out kitchen sink and we also got a level 15 defensive coordinator so that's going to give us quite a few stat boost which will improve overall but losing that quarterback to the transfer portal is going to set us back for a bit and this could be dumb but we're going to red shirt our best two running backs normally the sophomore shouldn't transfer out but the more I look at it the less that I want to do that because we have way too many good seniors on this team so rich Davis has to start now no matter what this wheel lands on I going to make sure that we get a quarterback and even with almost maxed out throwing stats he is only going to be up to a 74 we got the best spin possible and I might as well just make him 67 along with a decent bit of speed as well if we can get him it's not going to be the end of the world that our quarterback transferred out and he is listed as a fourstar it's definitely not the best class in the world but there is a good sophomore receiver a linebacker here and a fullback that we could probably move over to tight end being able to unload 700 points into most of these prospects is also very helpful and even though we did drop by two overalls we're projected to finish mid-table in our division and I thought that would mean our four-year Outlook was better but this isn't looking pretty the only goal I can even feel comfortable setting for the season is hopefully making it to a bowl and then Landing the best created Prospect quarterback yet but Oklahoma's going after him and we are losing points that's definitely a little bit scary but I just have to hope that he wants to come play for our program instead of them and that probably won't happen if we can't win some games Washington State scored 52 on us so I'm expecting BYU to probably do something similar which is why it's a surprise that we just won like that and a match up against a ranked team is a perfect thing for us we're losing points very quickly on Miles young but I am going to schedule him for a visit in week five and I can't stress enough how important it is that we went last season we saw a game like this land an entire recruiting class for us so I'm as locked in as I'm ever going to get and here on Third and one we're going inside the 10 Kevin Thomas can create separation and Davis can take it in on the ground so we're already jumping out to a 70 lead and we've maintained being up by a possession for a while now where we are going to get past their defense I don't know what 28 was doing I can't even talk because I didn't think Nolan was going to be gone but that was an amazing surprise to find our tight end here in the third quarter and he's finally given us a little bit of an opportunity to pull away but I feel like someone was probably open thank goodness Tom Leonard was able to get in in time because now I'm feeling a lot more confident about how this game is going to end and it would be really impressive if San Jose State was able to come back after we got off to this type of lead Davis with an amazing move and fight to the one sets us up to just hand it off to him on this next play and eventually we've got to bust our way into the end zone I always feel pretty good about the games that we hop into but simulating stuff is where we run into issues and we have to schedule more visit weeks against rank schools because pretty much everybody on our board committed including miles long and that was just an amazing visit it won't tell me but I think we got like 3,000 points out of it and that was only possible because we've been able to get all these recruiting upgrades without being fired now just like last season all we have to do is try to stay focused on making it to a conference champ chionship and I think the Utah State Road game is the next one I want to hop into it would really stink if we lost before then but I also understand it's not like we're the highest overall team on paper and San Diego States normally good but it's saying they're 2 and three so I thought we would take them down we're 4-2 Midway through the year though so that's still great and we can definitely handle Utah State I am going to switch our Playbook up to the run and shoot though because it was good to me in a previous video and we have to start establishing oursel in the Mountain West that has to happen long before we can even consider making the playoffs and hopefully when that happens we can complete some more challenges too there's a pretty good chance that this is going to be the longest rebuild I've ever posted on this channel and if our team overall can't get higher than 80 we might not be able to win at all we're probably going to need to have like a 5-year gap of getting very lucky in both simming and recruiting and can somebody please generate some pressure I know we sent a good deal of players and you've got to be kidding I know our defensive line on this team isn't the best but that was ridiculous Watson just ran somebody over and I'm going to look back in William Watson's Direction here as well he's our best wide receiver being able to bring that one in and this time on Third and long I'm going to be usering a defensive lineman myself but they are still going to pick it up as the game goes on they keep doing stupid things like committing holding penalties and such which really helps us and with a decent punt return there's a chance we get some points before the half especially if we could somehow catch that it hit right off of our guys hands but we couldn't have put him in a better position and sometimes it's just best to not force it it clearly was not meant to be the end the half unless we can somehow pull that off and we don't I'll still take being up 10 to 7 but with only a three-point lead if they're able to here that would be bad and thankfully that pass was off Target the agies have had some really long drives in this game so I'm not shocked that we're already in the fourth quarter and on Third and seven we are going to find Rich for a big play that is what we needed in that situation he is a very quick wide receiver but that probably should have been considered a fumble and we're going for the Post route over to Davis all I want to do is just win the Mountain West at least once and coming out on top here would set us up nicely but in order to do that we really need to get a stop on Third and five and we just didn't get in we'd force a fourth and six pretty quickly after though and I went with manto man this time which made all of the difference because now we're in a position to run out some clock and our offensive line is full of seniors so they should be able to block one 5 yard gain is all that we need and we are going to pick it up by finding William Watson but since he got dragged out of bounds we had to make sure we got another first down to run out the rest I swear if they just called us for holding though it's going to be coming back and thankfully it was a face mask it is nice to pick up another win in the Mountain West but we have to rely on Sim too and that's where things can be a little bit troubling even though Air Forces two and four they're are higher overall than us and we'll see what happens whenever we s but I figured that probably could occur and then we drop another that is so frustrating because no matter what we can't make it to the conference Championship but we aren't a higher overall than most of the teams in our conference still so we just have to get better and I think we're starting to hit our peak in this Idaho rebuild now this Sim result over our Rivals Boise State definitely caught me off guard Because by the time week 13's gotten here all we need is both them and Wyoming to lose one more and we play the Cowboys so we have control over at least one of those things we also sign these 260 overalls but I doubt you all care about that and we have to win at UNLV first but that's definitely something that I could see happening and it looks like we won by one point it has been the Rich Davis and Von Smith show on the ground and we're the same overall as Wyoming who lost a game this past week along with Boise State 2 but I have no clue how a four-way tiebreaker would work the only thing we can control is how we play in this but at least we've been given a tiny shot and there's no reason not to be aggressive going forward on Fourth and four but I could have chose a smarter receiver we got bailed out by him catching that ball and now we're going to punch it in but if he didn't make that aggressive catch we would have given it to them at Midfield which might not have mattered because so far the Cowboys have been terrible we haven't scored as many points in the second half as we did in that first half but it's pretty clear that it's already over and it'll definitely be if we can just stop them on this fourth and goal where the halfback screen is boxed we're going to need some other results to go our way though and I'm not sure if that's going to happen we have the tiebreaker over Boise State but we did lose to Air Force so this is the one time I'm rooting for the Broncos because if they're able to get the win here I think we'd make the Mountain West Conference Championship they took care care of business for us only giv up seven points in the entire game and clearly this halfback started all four years for them I definitely didn't see this coming mid year but it's nice to finally get into the conference Championship and there's no way that we can mess this up now with all the seniors that we about to lose this off season it could take us like another 3 years to get back to this point and we have been driving down the field on this first drive so far getting down to their 10 yard line and eventually putting it in we have to be able to stop them as well though and I'm sure that's what we're going to do here we had so many players around that guy but they just got close enough to the marker that they feel like they can attempt a field goal and that is going to be short I did not see us opening up things this well but all we have to do is be smart down inside the Red Zone and on Third and three they were not ready for the run so we're going to get close there's somehow not a goal line formation in this Playbook but we're still going to pick up the fourth and inches and I'm just going to spam run plays until we get into the end zone which might not be the best move even with one of the best offensive lines that we're probably ever going to have we've had more success throwing the ball and Von Smith has set a school passing yards record already I'm glad that we're still maintaining our 14-point lead to even though they're trying to come back and before they could snap the ball they'd commit a false start which is going to put them back farther I would honestly be devastated if we gave up this third and 14 but we didn't so they're still behind by two possessions and we're getting closer and closer to winning a Mountain West Championship we probably just need to punch it in one more time and Davis is going to do it so it took us a long time but we've officially done it and that means half of the video challenges are now completed the championship and All American ones are going to be hard though and I'm not sure if we're going to win a national award either so I'll take seeing this trophy they couldn't s num us from a boldest season either but this has to be the highest overall that we've had to face and I figured this team wasn't going to have any first team all-americans still even though Von Smith put up some impressive numbers too he wasn't in the running for any awards which is kind of surprising when you factor in that he also rushed for 650 yards and eight touchdowns I'm also bummed out that senior wide receiver Zack Rich has to graduate because by now he has 99 speed and using it might be the only way we have a chance here but Allegiance Stadium always glitches out in these bowl games so the gameplay looks really bad you all aren't going to get to see much of it this is our final attempt at trying to come back at the end and now I feel like I need to show a bit more I didn't think we'd actually come down with that football but we did and it got us right back in this matchup now I have to do my best to stop their offense from running for a first down but I don't think we're going to be able to pull that one off and that is the game we're going to lose to Michigan I am happy with the fact that we put up a good fight though and we've made a good amount of progress in just eight seasons the issue now though is we keep losing really good seniors and there's not much that I can do about that so we're probably not just going to continue to progress upwards and I'm really interested to see how this quarterback affects everything it was much needed and it seems like the highest class we can gets around top 50 and we're starting to run out of players at certain positions so it's a good thing that we found a fullback that can also play tight end another rough spot special teams because our kicker a senior and we already don't have a punter but I really don't want to create a special teams player as our one Prospect in the year and I guess that'll all depend where this wheel lands if it's the 50 overall one I just won't care but we just got extremely lucky two years in a row and now I have to break down this roster you all might not have expected this but the best thing I could do here is just make a really overpowered offensive lineman he's literally 69 and I hope we can land him but I have a feeling pretty much everybody's going to be going after him we need a kicker in this class I do see one and things surprisingly turned out better than I thought we did find another quarterback that was a gym which would have been great last year and there were just some really big jumps in overall we got A plus eight and then a plus seven and then A+ 12 as for red shirting I am going to do it on Rich Davis just for one season because I think our best window where we're going to have the highest overall is going to be 3 years out so we're trying to keep some guys around and hopefully we're able to win the Mountain West again the projections think Boise State's going to be better than us though because we're only a 77 overall but by 2025 we're supposed to be in the top half of the country and I will take that I think we're just going to have to get lucky in Sim because all these recruiting classes seem to be about the same with some average players and then maybe one or two stars and it would be nice if we could get a playoff appearance at some point in the future our defense just gave up 30 to an FCS school though so I know for a fact that we're not going to win on the road at an 88 overall team and we're probably not going to to get the tackle I created either because we're losing a lot of points on him I did take a short vacation so I can't exactly remember where we left off but now I'm being reminded we won a Mountain West Conference Championship and we haven't been good for a long time so I can't expect us to win all these games it would definitely be nice if we could schedule a visit for this next week though against San Diego State except I didn't think they'd be an 88 overall so now I've just set ourselves up for failure and this is going to be a really tough one here on a third and 10 we're already trailing by 10 points and Kevin Thomas is going to make a lot of guys miss that is going to lead to a touchdown the problem is we just cannot seem to get any defensive stops as they've gotten points on every single drive and now we're going to go for the kick return with Shun where he has broken two players ankles there's one guy to beat but he stops US that's not going to matter too much though because we've still been able to move it down the field and we have a few plays to punch it in where we do that here Dar Caden is definitely someone that used to be a wide receiver but we're still going to use him as our starting running back and with this halfback screen we are going to pick it up with him this could be a massive play in the third quarter we have to keep the chains moving though and that's what we've been able to do on this fourth and four as well so it's starting to seem more and more likely that we're going to reach the end zone and on Third and eight what they're going to do is find somebody over the middle of the field and then also get by two of our Defenders I bet they hand it off on Third and one but they decided to throw it instead so after all of that all they're getting a field goal and their defense has not been able to force us off of the field ever since then either we're going to run out the rest of the clock here or kick another field goal which would make it an eight-point game again and I think it's going to be the first option because they can't stop our rushing attack we'd score a touchdown from there and that would seal the game so we can thank Derrik Hayden for this win and that's caused pretty much all of these players to commit I think we're going to struggle to get our created Prospect though and I don't know why the Mountain West is so good we're deep into this Dynasty now but I'm sure we're going to lose some other games in Sim we didn't drop that but sooner or later I feel like it has to happen and these are hard decisions to make but San Jose State isn't in our division we could lose this game and still make it to the conference Championship again so I'm going to sim it as well and offensively we might have some turnovers in this the mix but everybody is going off I think we have to sim one more and then after this game we might decide to hop into the one at Air Force because not only are they one of the two teams near the top of our division but they're also an 84 overall and we have to face them on the road which is never a good time they'd Score first but we're going to do our best to respond back and I don't know what just happened with that throw or route but it is going to be taken all the way to the crib we're going to be down 14 to0 now we have to go out and play this game very aggressively on fourth down we are going to drop it so we have not been having a good first half and I'm afraid that it might only get worse for us from here on Third and goal they have a lot they need to pick up though and we are going to hopefully just knock them short which means it's going to be 16 to Z unless we can pull off the miracle it is a one-on-one and that is going to be dropped there wasn't a single thing that went our way in that half but it's not over yet we have been fighting back into this game and that is going to lead to a tutty bon Smith has his moments and we just handed this one off so I'm glad Derek Hayden fought his way in but it would be the fourth quarter by the time we got got the ball back again and we have to pick up this fourth and five which we do we're only behind by one possession so it certainly isn't over especially if we keep attacking cover two and on the two-point conversion I'm going to hope that we just get open that was our best receiver but he couldn't create any separation and now we have to generate some pressure these route bounces are going to hurt us but they couldn't find somebody open so all we have to do is get into field goal range and then kick the game winner with a lot of running it really hasn't been that difficult for us to pull off but we need to convert on this third and eight since there's still a minute left on the clock and improving to 7 and one is quite the Milestone we're having the best season that we have in this rebuild so far but Von Smith is also a senior so we really need miles long to not transfer out if we want to have a good future next up is Colorado State and at 2 and 6 I'm not expecting them to take us down here but they kept it close there's never any guarantees in conference play but with three games left we have a two- game lead and we're not playing anybody great so we might be able to just Sim these I'm really anxious to find out how this visit week's about to go to Ohio State because as long as Willie doesn't commit we would be able to have a chance getting him in the off season and he didn't but he's very close to doing so at least we got the big win over Boise State and we still have a tiebreaker over Air Force so no matter what we're back in the conference Championship and Nebraska's jumped up to first but Willie locking us out's the best case scenario because we can open up the door put points on him and we're right back into this battle no matter what happens now that should run to the off season and we're just going to get to the conference Championship and our last game's against Wyoming but they beat us by three so even though we've done really well we're not going to have a shot at the college football playoffs we never got ranked and we have to play San Diego State again but we Pro that we can compete for some of the best players and our future outlook's starting to look a little bit better what's nice about being so good as well is we get to host our own Conference Championship but beating them twice in one season is going to be extremely difficult they've already gotten a touchdown but we are going to respond and whatever they do we're proving that we can do the exact same thing it would definitely be a huge deal if they only got a field goal out of this drive though and they're going to so now we have to go for another touchdown and they just generated a lot of pressure that is not good as time is starting to wind down and because that was marked as a third and inches we had to burn our final timeout but we still got seven there and I'm going to miss Von Smith so much every time the Aztecs have scored he's driven us down the field but now we have to make sure that we get this fourth and inches and we do Derk Hayden's going to be back next season which is nice but this conference Championship isn't over yet as they're getting it back within a possession I've been trying to pull away for so long and they just keep making plays but at the end of the day we'd score again our defense would get another stop and it is all over it is nice to go back back to back in the Mountain West but we're still nowhere near being a championship Contender and that's got to change if we're going to complete this rebuild we could win five conference championships and still never sniff the playoffs and I'm so sick of making the Las Vegas ball however we have completed another challenge because Von Smith won an award and then I won coach of the year and our senior quarterback didn't win the Heisman but he did get some votes there's a reason though because these stats are incredible over 4,000 passing yards 46 touchdowns and then even more on the ground with Derek Hayden also scoring a ton I mean it does stink that top two Targets are both seniors so we're going to miss them but we always knew Kevin Thomas wouldn't be around for long and we have to see if we had any first team all-americans it looks like on the offensive side of things we had two with Kevin Thomas and Von Smith but none on the rest of this roster so we still need to get another in the future just looking at the challenges list now all that's really left is winning a national championship but that feels so far away even if we keep improving and because the Las Vegas Bowl Stadium is glitched out we're just going to sim our bowl game where we lose to TCU somehow we're nine Seasons deep and we still have haven't won a ball and I'm really upset because we had a level 24 offensive coordinator but he left us and then he got replaced by a level one that really hurts us but I don't blame him for getting out when Von Smith did and I figured he'd go in the first round but he was a second round pick Instead at least we know that we should be able to land Willie layer and we would but our class was ranked really low I don't understand why because I feel like there were multiple pieces here that are pretty solid but that's just how it worked out and we have to make sure that our new stud on the offensive line is starting we've also really fixed our DB issue which is something that I wasn't sure we'd be able to a couple years ago but the one position on this roster that isn't filled is this punter so I have to move one of these quarterbacks from Idaho over there even though he's a 40 overall it's not ideal but at least we had a lot of other players develop well and he shot up to a 47 so we'll see what he can do now all we really need to hope for going into this season is none of these teams are that good and I'm hoping we can get another good recruit out of the wheel but it's only a 70 so I think for depth purposes I'm just going to make another offensive lineman and we might as well make him 69 just like the last guy since we're about to lose 12 seniors I'm hoping there's some other decent prospects but it looks like there's only 11 players from Idaho and none of them seem to be that great after scouting all of them this honestly might be the roughest class that we've seen yet but our team overall has jumped up to an 84 so I can't complain at all even if our rankings drop down a bit just scrolling through our division we might be able to win the Mountain West again and Miles Long's throwing stats are insane I kind of messed up when I created him though so we're going to have to run with an air rate offense because he has no skills to run the ball on the ground like Von Smith could and we just lost by 34 how is it even possible for him to have this terrible of a stat line and if it's because of how I created him we might just be going over to Dwayne pot sooner than I thought I know that we lost a really good offensive coordinator but that was seriously an embarrassment that was against an FCS school and we're going to drop another we're still supposed to be a top 15 team next season but we already have zero chance at making the playoffs so this year feels over even if we're going to get every recruit that we want none of them are great but they're going to all come on a visit versus San Jose State and I'm still so confused at how we lost that badly to Eastern Washington but maybe we're just not good normally the air raid Playbook works wonders but we're going to switch back to what we were doing because things should not be going like this and we'll see if that was the Difference Maker maybe I messed everything up for this team and it's not me I genuinely think it's because of how I created miles long so we're going to try to switch things up by putting in freshman quarterback Dwayne pots and if we still can't win after doing that we're in a ton of trouble we pretty much have the worst offense and defense in the country so Sim is no longer favoring us but but we've also only lost one conference game which means the season isn't entirely over even if our fans are already not showing up through the first quarter and a half nobody's been able to score yet and they just stopped us on a fourth and one but all they'd get out of their next Drive is a field goal and this is pot's chance to really make a difference but he'd take the sack and I don't think our freshman kicker is able to hit it from this far away surprisingly he did so it's tied up at the half but the Freshman QB Stills a lot of improving to do and there's his first touchdown I know our offense has been pretty terrible in this one but at least our defense is holding it down and I don't think they'd run the ball here but they wouldn't even get a chance to snap it in the first place that penalty just backed them up by a little bit and our manto man coverage is sticking really well we should be able to get the sack Force the fumble and that's what we needed our defense came up huge for us there and now we have to wait for this route bounce which is going to allow us to pick up the third and 20 so now we're one first down away from sealing the game and that is going to be dropped since we're out of field goal range we do have to go for it but we are going to pass over to Sparks and that is going to do it for us which means Dwayne pots gets a win in his first start but it was mainly because of our defense that's going to cause pretty much every single player on our board to commit besides this 158 overall guard and it's time to go back to Simmon games I want to see if our new QB is able to get this one done and he does by 14 so that really means our 90 overall quarterback was the problem and if we can get past Utah State we're still competing for a spot in the conference Championship they're one in five in a lower overall than us but after seeing how some of those other SIM results went I'm so nervous to sim still and we come out on top I mean theoretically now we should win the rest of our games because we are a higher overall team than programs like Air Force and we do it took us going on a four- game winning streak but we really turned things around and now it's time to take the top spot in our division all of this development is good for our freshman and even though we have 12 seniors on this roster our team overall shouldn't drop going into next season and that's going to be a catch I know it wasn't ruled one on the field but I am going to challenge it and it is not available it was a little bit of a high throw but he made sure that he got this left foot down and I don't understand why oh the ball came out I didn't see that at first but now it makes sense why we're kicking three and this has been a pretty boring offensive game all around but with a few minutes left in the first half we're going for our second touchdown of the day and I love that pots can run the ball too if we didn't get this freshman quarterback in last year's recruiting this rebuild might have no chance at being completed but now that he's about to be 5-0 as a starter I've definitely changed my mind on that seeing how well our defense is playing on top of a workable offense I have a lot more confidence and we've easily become the first team in our division again the only way we could lose that is if we lost a Boise but they dropped another game so we could still lose one and make the conference Championship and I really just want to get to next season we've already landed everybody in recruiting so we are literally going to conference Championship week we pick up the win and I know that I have one other regular season game that I could hop into but clearly we don't need to do that with the way that we're playing and we even beat Wyoming that was a strong finish to the season winning eight straight but now we play number 13 Fresno State and if they win they have a spot in the college football playoff one thing that really worries me is if you look at our team needs you will see that we have 24 Juniors so pretty much next season is our only window to win at all and we're going to find out if this all Idaho rebuilds possible very shortly we already beat Fresno State during Sim this season so I wasn't expecting to be trailing with 4 minutes left but again the main focus is next year because that's what's really going to matter and I would still like to win our third straight Conference Championship even with two losses they are in the contention for a playoff spot right now so it's not like a Mountain West team can't make it to the playoffs and I think that'll especially be true if we're undefeated next year so that's all my mind is worried about even with just a couple minutes left now after getting that defensive stop we are in a pretty good position because all we have to do is get a field goal to win and it looks like with the pocket collapsing I'm going to make a play on the ground with pots our freshman kicker can definitely hit from here so this one is already over and we're on a nine game winning streak right now that's now our third straight Conference Championship win and we just beat a top 13 team like it was nothing of course there's only one ball game that they're willing to give us but I wasn't going to play it either way because what really matters now is next year and against Louisiana a we W I'm happy with how Dwayne Potts played too even if these stats aren't the best because we were able to run with him and then lean on our two really good running backs while also developing some of our younger wide receivers without getting them too much notice to finish season 10 we went on a 10- game winning streak and we really aren't losing that many starters besides on our offensive line which is why I don't know why this guy is transferring out he would have gotten so much more playing time with us but that's why I made sure that our created Prospect was an offensive lineman and I don't even care that this class was ranked so badly after looking at these training I honestly don't think there's any chance any of our other rosters have been as good as this one is but what makes it so impressive is every single one of these guys is from Idaho and we've been downgraded to a level one defensive coordinator just like our OC last year so I have no choice but to take all of our points over from recruiting and just hope that this is enough to get us a championship since we have 23 seniors that were about to lose and we'd only have 34 players on next year's roster this is legitimately it for the rebuild there's only 11 players that have generated from the state again so if we don't win a championship and get one All-American this season it's it's all over I've made sure to put the same teams on our schedule that we lost to last season as well because even if miles long can't beat them I feel like Dwayne pots will and our entire rebuilds in the hands of this sophomore quarterback since about 85% of our starters are seniors you can see that we're about to fall off a ton after this year but we have gotten the team up to a 90 overall so that makes us a lot better than everybody else besides Fresno State and San Diego State which means we should run through our current schedule I'm a little bit scared to start advancing just because of how last season opened up but we beat Eastern Washington at CS school and also Arizona State even though they're the lower overall position group I think our defense is going to carry us and this is our last matchup before Mountain West Conference play which we come out on top of there's a lot of games that I could hop into like this one on the road but Nevada's already lost twice and I have to sparingly use the three matchups I have control of so we're just going to sim through that too it really didn't take that long for us to get some national notice but if we lose one game that's all going to change and I still feel confident against Hawaii but this one could be a bit rough never mind we made sure that we dominated them in every single aspect effect and now it's time for a conference Championship rematch we already know that most of the other teams in our division aren't that good so if we can beat them that increases our chances of gone undefeated and this is a big road game for our program I know what we need to do to come out on top and we've been running it pretty well but that was spotted as a fourth in inches and it looks like I have long out there on the field I never made the sub at QB this entire season we have been playing miles long and I completely forgot he was going to start because he was the higher overall in the depth chart but it's working so now I don't know what I should do with our QB spot after we didn't score the rest of the half I felt like I needed to put Dwayne pots back into the game but I'm very conflicted right now and this is why the NCA football 14 Sim engine makes zero sense at the end of the day our defense has been the star of the show as they still haven't scored but I don't know who we should be starting at quarterback and they're still short I think we have to roll with Dwayne Potts even though he's younger in a lower overall but he wasn't even the starter for our first five wins of the year and I don't know if that stat Line's going to cut it I might be making a mistake here but we'll find out in the end and that's going to guarantee that we don't have a single allame at the quarterback position we only need one but they're going to have split stats for the year and Dwayne pot still hasn't lost a single game even though we're undefeated I'm still scared that we're going to drop something but the rest of our opponents really aren't that good so we might just continue to sim especially since we're moving up in the polls and I think we're going to make the 14 team playoff either way now if some of those teams don't start losing we're not going to get a first round by but it looks like some of them did and now we need just Cincinnati or Michigan to lose I really think we're going to remain undefeated because our offense continues to progress in overall and we're playing teams like unov that just haven't had a good season but what it'll all come down to Is How We Do against Wyoming and they're 2-9 they're a low overall teams so let's just get to conference Championship week to my surprise we're not the only ranked team in the Mountain West as we're playing Hawaii who's at number 17 and they're fighting for a spot in the playoffs but it looks like Michigan did lose for the first time in 11 years things have actually worked out perfectly for us but there's still a lot of work that has to be done and that starts in the postseason with this conference Championship game just like last season I thought we'd win pretty easily but that has not been the case we're down with less than 2 minutes left in the game and this is probably the worst our defense has played all season I am going to try to bomb them deep though and that is going to be dropped once we get to the playoffs that's when I'm going to lock in and play a lot smarter doing stuff like this with the great route to Sparks and he's been an amazing wide receiver for this team but our defense has just been struggling and that cannot happen at this time in the year going into this matchup we had the number one defense in the country we about to get the sack on them and that force is a fourth and three that they're not ready for where they try to scramble and we make the hit we closed out our fourth Mountain West Conference Championship in the right way and this rebuild is finally starting to come together I didn't know if we'd ever be able to build an actual Championship Contender but as a 91 overall team I feel like we can compete with some of the best programs in the country and we have gotten our third first team All-American with Cory Morton we'd also have like four of them on defense so you can see that we had a ton of all-americans on the first team so all that's left is whether or not we can win a championship with Idaho and for only playing in like seven games Dwayne pot's stats were better than what he did last season I made the right decision keeping him as the starter but he also o had these two running backs to lean on and I'm pretty sure they were both moved over from wide receiver but at least we still had players like Ryan Andrews too defensively we didn't have a star player that stood out but you can tell that our unit worked very well together and the logos might be a little bit messed up on this bracket but we're up there at number one we're going to have to play either Colorado or Michigan in the quarterfinals but I'd much rather play the Buffalo because the Wolverines were just at the number one spot and I figured that meant they'd be the better team but with a few seconds left they find themselves down by four points to Colorado so it looks like we're going to get the opponent that I was hoping for unless they can pull off a miraculous comeback and on the final play of the game of course they tried to get out the hail Mar but they got sacked within just 2 seconds so they're going to have another opportunity and this ball is going to be knocked down it was a close call but that's exactly what I wanted to happen and we have the advantage going into our first playoff game not only do we still have the number one defense but they best players of fullback so I'm expecting us to take care of business even if the weather could give us a few issues they got the ball first but it is third and five and our man to man coverage has done a great job lock up here so we opened up things the way that we needed to defensively and now we're doing the same thing offensively there's just too many top Targets on this team that can get open so if Colorado isn't careful this could be over quick and I wish I could have stuck with Franklin that drive would end with a field goal and they're about to score on us again but we still have an opportunity to stop them here and we can't get over to it however he might not have gotten a foot down and it looks like that right foot was on the line the ref should make the right decision here taking away the touchdown and making it third and goal which they shouldn't pick up as long as we can get somebody to generate pressure that was the that we needed there because we're still going to have a one-point lead and it was about time that we started having some success on offense again every so often we're able to fly down the field but we still haven't been able to pull away and I just have to hope for the best on this two-point conversion where we were able to get the stop normally as long as we have a lead in matchups like this I feel pretty confident but they are generating pressure really quickly and I am not happy about the fact that we just got stopped there but at least they're not going anywhere on their next Drive they also can't get very far with the punt which means we are going to start this drive in very good field positioning and I wish we could run the ball more with Derek Caden it hasn't gone that well for us though and then that's off Target so we have to decide to kick a field goal or go for the fake and this time I am deciding to put it down the middle I honestly trust our defense to get stops and this is an amazing opportunity to get them off the field but the halfback draw worked they're on our side of the 50 now but on Third and 15 they're going to need to get a lot here if they want to move the chains and since it didn't work out for them we're now in a really good position with a running quarterback that doesn't want to go down this was not an exciting matchup but we're playing against a much tougher defense and to even be in this position with players only from Idaho is very impressive but that pass was a bad choice and how did we catch that I cannot believe that we just got bailed out there but we only need one more first and it looks like they're going with manto man coverage which we were fully prepared for that is going to seal the game and we might as well just stunt on them too we are moving on to the next round and our starting QB has still never lost it looks like his next opponent's going to be Cincinnati and they were a much lower overall team on paper so I feel like we've been getting pretty lucky in the playoffs we've had a pretty easy route to the championship but we still to make sure that the Bearcats don't shock us and I don't think we're going to have any issues our defense has made me so confident but we are on an early long third down that we are going to convert on and we're going to continue to March down the field where this should be a touchdown unless we fall a little bit short just a couple minutes into the game the flood gates are opening up and it's taking Cincinnati a very long time to get to about Midfield and do absolutely nothing with their first drive you can tell that they were about to send the crib at us as well and we are going for the Deep shot that is going to be underthrown and caught so we've gotten very very lucky with Idaho because normally this does not happen and the route bounce is just too easy that's going to take us inside the five just like that we're about to go up by 14 points but they sent a great blitz so I'm going to put some Slants out there on the field again and this time we come away with the football I have a system that's been working pretty well for getting touchdowns so even with Cincinnati starting to score they're going to have a hard time coming back and Hayden's been taking them in from here throughout the entire game if they can't figure out a way to pick up this fourth and 10 it's going to all be over but they went to the flat and we're going to make the tackle so once again our defense makes a major impact and it's time to see who our Championship opponent is 14- seated Washingtons made a deep run but they're about to give up a late touch down to Alabama and this would definitely do it the Crimson Tide should not be spiking it here but they have and on Third and goal it looks like their quarterback is going to be Mark short the huskys are very close to getting a defensive stand here and it all comes down to this play so instead of playing the two- seed in the championship we get to play a 14 I've never been this lucky with a playoff draw before but maybe I'm not because they are 93 overall and Ides Ohio State that's the highest overall team that made the playoffs I think this could be our hardest matchup yet especially since they've already scored a touchdown but their man-to-man coverage didn't stick and why didn't we try to catch the ball I don't like that things are already going wrong for us but there's still a long way to go and after getting a holding call this down was always going to be an easy one to get a stop on unless they somehow picked that up there was illegal touching in the process though so now they're punting from the one yard line and I expecting somebody to get in but we might have hit the punter I hope that's not a flag and let's just hope that this return turn goes well with Davis where we're able to do a back Juke and go almost nowhere it wasn't the prettiest first quarter but we could start the second one right and I feel like we could bomb them deep if their DB doesn't get back to it we have been winning aggressive catch after aggressive catch and now we've also started to shut down their offense as they're not picking this up I'm really starting to like the way that this game is looking but that was not the route that I thought I was throwing so we'll just run it in instead ever since that first Drive Washington has just really struggled offensively versus us that should have been picked and I wish I could say we continue to dominate from that point but with 4 minutes left its tied so things clearly slowed down offensively and it is time to make up for that even though they were able to get it a little bit close it might not matter this is good coverage except over there and here on a third and 20 another holding call has really messed up this offense's chances I mean they'd make it a fourth and manageable but we're going to get them off the field and eventually they have to start burning some time outs to try and get the ball back verses us the issue with that is I think we're already in field goal range so it's over and I cannot believe that this rebuild was actually POS possible this entire roster is composed of players only from Idaho and I really would appreciate it if they'd stop giving the Huskies false hope I mean all we have to do is catch this onside kick but there have been videos wherever that hasn't happened and now I can officially say we have won it all all six of these challenges were actually completed and Dwayne Potts never lost a single game I've brought Idaho back to Glory one final time before the new game and to produce this much NFL Talent from the state of Idaho feels like a real accomplishment but that's going to finish out this rebuild and we only have a couple more months before EA Sports College college football 25
