YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS ACTIVELY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW AS THEY HAVE JUST STARTED SETTING UP CAMP THIS MORNING. THIS IS IN THE SAC STATE QUAD AREA NEAR THE LIBRARY, YOU CAN SEE ALL OF THE TENTS, PALESTINIAN FLAGS. PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME THEY WILL BE HERE FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES FOR THOSE DEMANDS TO BE MET. WHAT DEMANDS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HERE? ON THEIR INSTAGRAM PAGE, WHEN I SPOKE WITH THEM, THEY DIRECTED ME TO THIS PAGE . SPECIFICALLY, THE DEMAND THAT THESE PROTESTERS ARE ASKING FOR AT THIS POINT ONE, DISCLOSE ALL INVESTMENTS TO COMPLETE DIVESTMENT FROM ALL COMPANIES AND PARTNERSHIPS THAT ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE COLONIZATION AND GENOCIDE OF PALESTINIANS. DECLARING THE OCCUPATION IN ISRAELI GENOCIDE IN GAZA. THAT AGAIN IS ACCORDING TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO WERE OUT HERE PROTESTING RIGHT NOW APPEARED BACK OUT HER LIVE, YOU CAN SEE THEM AS THEIR TENTS ARE SET UP. THEY ALSO SEEM TO HAVE A STATION SET UP WITH FOOD, WHICH IS JUST ANOTHER INDICATOR OF HOW LONG THEY LIKELY PLAN TO BE OUT HERE. AT THIS POINT, AS WE HAVE SAID SINCE THE START. THINGS APPEAR TO BE PEACEFUL OUT HERE, WE HAVE REACHED OUT TO SAC STATE WHO IS PREPARING A STATEMENT ON WHAT IS HAPPENING OUT HERE COMING UP, WE WILL BE GETTING THAT INFORMATION SHORTLY. I'VE REACHED OUT TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT JEWISH STUDENT GROUPS AND THE LOCAL JEWISH FEDERATION GROUP TO HEAR FROM THEM, WE WILL OF COURSE HAVE THAT COMING UP IN OUR LEADER NEWSCASTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU UPDATED AS PROTESTERS SAY THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL ALL OF THOSE DEMANDS ARE MET . >> YOU KNOW, WE WERE THERE AS SOON AS THEY STARTED SETTING UP EARLIER, WHAT'S THAT DEMEANOR LIKE FOR STUDENTS WHO WERE NOT PROTESTING, HAVE YOU SEEN CAMPUS POLICE COMING OUT OF THAT AREA YET? >> AS FAR AS THE DEMEANOR, STUDENTS SEEM VERY PEACEFUL . HONESTLY, PRETTY QUIET AND MELLOW TO BE QUITE HONEST WITH YOU. AT THIS POINT, AS FAR AS CAMPUS POLICE, I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY OF THE POLICEMAN OUT IN THIS AREA. POLICEWOMEN, ANYONE.
