10+ Must-Add Waiver Wire Players BEFORE Week 1

Should Already Be Rostered (#1 Priorities) he should have been drafted everywhere no team in the NFL targeted running backs more than the Shawn Payton Le Denver Broncos samj p r just got cut if he is not drafted in your league probably time to go pick him up last year the waiver wire was crucial to winning your fantasy football league we had names like Kyon Williams puka nakua Gus Edwards Zach Moss Rashid rice and Jaden Reed win people leagues all off of the waiver wire well in today's video I'm going to bring you over 30 30 names that you can add from your waiver wire cuz we're going to try and beat the breakout before week one we did this video last year and we told you to stash Jake Ferguson and Jerome Ford those two panned out really really well let's hit again this year all right there will be a stash for every single person watching this video regardless of how small or large your league is and I've also got some streaming options for kickers and defenses in week one time codes down below let's start with players that should already be rostered meaning these are the guys that I would prioritize over any of the following names that I'm going to bring up tuba hubard will be the starter for the first four weeks of the Season while Jonathan Brooks is out at minimum he averaged over 12 and a half points per game last year as his team starter Rico D has a chance to be the rb1 in what was the best offense in the NFL last year Josh Palmer I believe he will start the year as Justin Herbert's wide receiver one don't be surprised Josh Palmer is sneaky Brandon Cooks there's no one else outside of CD lamb and Jake Ferguson in Dallas khil Shakir has a chance to really establish himself post Stefon Diggs pop Douglas and Jaylen pulk if Drake May is actually good at football those guys will be huge steals in Fantasy Football let's start WR Adds with the wide receiver position names that you should roster and I'm going in order of my preferences here Don tvon Wix the Baba Yaga himself are you a part of the Davon Wicks Hive if not maybe now is the time to join right now he's rostered in 177% of ESPN leagues and 29% in Yahoo so he's widely available Christian Watson has missed 11 games in his first two seasons all right three in 2022 eight in 2023 he's missed 32.4% of his total games in his NFL career due to injury and Wix has been extremely impressive in those small stints without Christian Watson seven games without Christian Watson averaging almost 11 PPR points per game and he went on a really nice run to end his rookie season last year from weeks 11 onwards we saw Davon Wicks averaging over five targets per game almost 60 receiving yards per game and 12 and a half PPR points per game in that span he averaged more points per game than Deontay Johnson Terry McClaren AJ Brown Drake London Jordan Addison Stefon Diggs and Garrett Wilson don't sleep on him he might be the best most talented most complete receiver in Green Bay like it's truly a possibility he should be rostered all right number two a Xavier Legette the Carolina boy himself there isn't a player that the Panthers were more obsessed with during this year's draft cycle than Xavier Legette and that led to Carolina trading into the first round trading up to go out and get him as a first round pick and Dave Canales offenses which Dave Canalis is now the head coach his offenses have loved big body wide receivers last year he was the offensive coordinator for the bucks Mike Evans went crazy the year before that DK metf DK metf was an alpha alpha Xavier Legette is well worth a roster spot young talented rookie round one wide receiver he could pop off if this offense is better than we expect number three Andre yis AKA Yoshi this is a deep dive all right not a lot of people know this name I love him he's rostered in less than 7% of all leagues and this team in Cincinnati is going to throw the ball a lot in the past two years they have been top 10 in passing attempts per game averaging 37 passing attempts per game Yoshi is going to be the Tyler Boyd replacement for the Cincinnati Bengals he will play out of the slot in their first pre-season game the Bengals confirmed that that they view him as a starter he played more snaps with the starters than any other wide receiver and ran more routes than any wide receiver not named T Higgins and the Tyler Boyd rle has been valuable in the b in the burrow Chase era if you will over those three years Bard averaged 92 targets and over 10 points per game and if Jamar Chase is really going to hold out and things get messy Andre aivas could be an absolute steal all right number four Adonai Mitchell wide receiver rookie out of the Colts not available in sleeper but wildly available on ESP and in Yahoo formats a lot of people thought Adan I should have been a first round pick in the NFL draft the Colts get him in the second round then Josh DS goes down with a high ankle sprain which gave Adonai the opportunity to get work with the starters early earlier than anticipated in the Colts last preseason game he was out there playing with the starters and even scored a touchdown from Anthony Richardson versus the Bengals and this is a round two to3 wide receiver and a very impressive wide receiver class completely stacked offensively and we have seen round two to three wide receivers make instant impacts quite often Jaden Reed and Rashid rice did it last year we saw Christian Watson do it as a rookie Pickins Higgins Pitman AJ Brown Debo Samuel DK metf Deontay Johnson Terry McClaren tank D and Josh DS they all made impacts as a rookie in rounds two to three all right number five how about Michael Wilson we're going out to the desert here Michael Wilson widely available in most formats the Cardinals have the sixth most vacated targets heading into the year vacated meaning targets left behind by players that are no longer on the team they have 27 vacated targets 39% of their target share last year and Michael Wilson showed some really nice flashes as a rookie a 26.6 point game versus San Francisco in week four and then he finished the season with back-to-back 15 plus PPR point games versus Philadelphia in Seattle in week 17 and 18 going into year 2 there is a clear wide receiver to roll up for grabs now that Hollywood Brown is no longer on this team and Michael Wilson is my favorite personally to fill those shoes all right number six for these wide receivers how about some commanders here diami Brown and Noah Brown the brown Bros this actually with the signing of Noah Brown made this a more confusing ad I was actually excited to add dami Brown as a sleeper but now it makes things a little bit more confusing in my personal opinion uh the commanders they decided to ship off their former first round pick Johan Dawson in division to the Philadelphia Eagles and before they did this the commanders were already third and vacated Targets in the NFL meaning they had a lot of opportunities available now you add in Jan who had 83 targets himself if you add that to the mix now Washington has 357 vacated targets second most in the NFL almost 60 % of their targets here last year is up for grabs meanwhile dami Brown was making plays throughout the entire preseason he actually probably had the play of the preseason for Washington he caught a 40-yard pass down the field from Jaden Daniels on third down and then you think about Noah Brown he's had some ridiculously impressive games last year with the Houston Texans in week nine over 27 points in week 10 24 points in week 15 22 points those games happened when someone ahead of him was injured like niik Collins or tinell so if he can take the wide receiver to role in Washington and Jaden Daniels is good I mean that's that's an interesting combo there I know Noah Brown is very talented the last receiver we'll talk about today and we've got so many more players to talk about hit that like button if you're enjoying the content Darnell money Mooney all right on ESPN he's widely rostered everywhere else he's wildly available we have seen Kirk Cousins almost said Thuggin yeah Kirk Thuggin we've seen him support multiple fantasy wide receivers a lot in his career Justin Jefferson Jordan Addison Adam th Justin Jefferson Pierre Garson Deshawn Jackson this guy can spread the ball all over the field and cousins was the main reason that darno Mooney decided to sign with Atlanta anyway he kind of convinced him and more recently Rond Del Moore who was going to eat up some Targets in Atlanta went down with a season ending injury all right let's RB Adds move on to some running backs that I think you should stash before week one again trying to beat the breakout number one Jalil mlin he should have been drafted everywhere if he is not drafted in your league probably time to go pick him up no team in the NFL targeted running backs more in 2023 than the Shawn pton L Denver Broncos they targeted the running back position 153 times and samj perine got 56 of those targets samaj p r just got cut by the Denver Broncos he's no longer on the team okay and Jalil was fantastic with minimal opportunities in 2023 he was second in yards per attempt and then he was top 15 in yards after contact per attempt in Breakaway percentage in yards per route run and in PFF run grade that's a minimum of 50 attempts a player who proved himself under Shawn pton that means a lot who built him up by his bootstraps and is ready to pop off in 20124 in PPR formats my second favorite stash at running back is Jaylen Wright the rookie for the Miami Dolphins available widely in ESP and in Yahoo leagues this is a fourth round NFL draft pick from the Dolphins this year he's got size he's got 4-3 speed he's the perfect long-term Raheem most at replacement this one is very simple if a roll were to open up ahead of him via injury Devon aan Raheem moer then jayen Warren could be a League winner why because the Dolphins are the best offense for Fantasy Football in the NFL like don't believe me the if you look at fantasy points per snap leaders in 2023 the Dolphins had the top three names in the entire NFL number one hn number two Tyreek number three Raheem moster on a per touch per snap basis the Dolphins is the most valuable offense in fantasy football all right the third guy here kamani Vidal another rookie with the Los Angeles Chargers wildly available in every format the Chargers are going to be a very run focused offense if you look at Greg Roman and his time as an offensive coordinator with the Ravens four years in a row averaging over 30 rushing attempts per game he was the only offense from 2019 to 2022 to average over 30 attempts per game every single year and if you look at Jim Harbaugh as a head coach in the NFL every single year averaging over 30 attempts per game on average at 30.6 over a 4-year span I love Gus Edwards I love JK Dobbins I think they are also great picks but we have to be honest they have not been able to stay healthy in their careers if you look at the past 3 years alone JK Dobbins has missed 42 games Gus Edwards has missed 16 games on total combined 58 games missed those running backs have missed 58 out of 102 games in the last three years over 56% of the games they have missed due to injury if Kanani gets a chance to steal this job boy his profile looks like he could run away with it and what should be a good rushing offense number four don't sleep on better call Ty tyone Tracy all right Tyrone Tracy wildly available the depth chart in New York is extremely thin outside of Devon single ter Tyrone is a crazy story he transitioned from wide receiver to running back in the last couple years of his collegiate career his play style on film reminds me a lot of Rashad white I'm not telling you he'll ever be as good as Rashad white but he has a similar skill set to him he's already passed Eric gray as the rb2 on the roster and I think he has a chance to eat towards Deon single ter role midseason number five breaking news recently s Maj perine signs with the Kansas City Chiefs he's available literally everywhere at the time of recording this the rb2 role in Kansas city has been up for grabs the entire off season like who wants this role nobody is claiming it Clyde Edwards hair Carson steel daic Prince nobody can get their hands on this job well I think samj is the answer for the rb2 there last year perine was seventh in receiving yards among running backs and third and receiving yards after contact remember guys we're just one year removed from the rb2 in this offense jerck McKinnon being a top 20 fantasy running back could samj be that why not he's younger than what Jerick was at the time Jerick did it all right the sixth running back we're going to talk about here is Emanuel Wilson all right AJ Dylan was placed on season ending IR he will not play this entire year rookie marshan Lloyd can't stay healthy to save his life so many hamstring injuries and the Packers have used a running back rotation consistently under Matt laflor if you look at the past three four years Matt laflor has never had a single running back handle over 50% of the carries so could there be a role here for Emanuel Wilson on a really good offense potentially it's worth a roster spot in deeper formats all right let's talk about quarterbacks I'm going to give you one all right this is more towards superflex leagues or two QB & TE Add quarterback leagues but certainly in one quarterback if you want to have this little wild card on your roster Drake may all right available pretty much everywhere rookie quarterbacks we've had one finished top 12 in fantasy football in three out of the last five years remember no one expected CJ stra to be a superstar last year for Fantasy Football what if Drake May is the next great unknown Superstar and it's not like anyone was obsessed with Nico Collins or tank Dell this time last year people liked them but they didn't think they were top 12 receivers in the NFL so anything is possible and at tied in this might be one of my favorite stashes in all of fantasy football right now Ben sate the rookie tied end for the Washington commanders for all the same reasons we talked about with dami brown and Noah brown right the commanders have the second most targets vacated in the NFL now Johan Dawson is gone but here's why this is important because if you can get a sleeper tight end like Jake Ferguson we brought you on this video last year that could set your entire team up for the future if you missed out on a tight end you didn't get one of the top 12 names in your draft and you punted really late you got to go add Ben s it he is a must stash okay we're going to get to really fun at running back some handcuffs here with brillan Allen Ray Davis Bucky Irving Kil Herbert dvin cook just signed with the Dallas Cowboys that's a good offense to be a part of he's probably washed cam ACR is looking good in Houston and audri ese now takes a huge bump up in potential value with no samage perine at wide receiver we got Troy Franklin Luke mcaffrey Roman Wilson Jaylen McMillan W Del Robinson Jordan Winnington and jayen Tolbert I want to quickly highlight Troy Franklin this team did let go of Tim Patrick which was a surprise move for some people that gives a very clear opportunity for Troy to step up at some point Roman Wilson there's no wide receiver to to compete with on that team wand Robinson is a good player can he just stay healthy he might be benefiting from Malik neighbors so much of the defense is going to be focused on him could that open up something underneath for ju Del Robinson and as far as Jaylen Tolbert they def desperately need someone in Dallas to step up at tight end we got fan and Greg doul Greg doul was so good his rookie season he just hasn't been able to stay healthy they desperately need pass catchers to step up in Denver why not Greg and then Noah Fant this team let go of Kobe Parkin Parkinson and will disley in the off season and now Noah fan is going to be playing a ton of snaps all Twitter Submissions right let's go to Colts Indianapolis gave up the third most points two kickers in 2023 this game is in a Don KY Fair Baron is attached to a very high powerered offense Easy Money Cameron Dicker versus the Raiders who gave up seven points per game to Kickers last year another game in a dome the Chargers should have a good offense but maybe it takes them a little while to get in the zone with this new crew and that could lead to a lot of field goals D/ST Streamers for Week 1 all right defenses how about the Bengals versus the Patriots New England gave up the third most points to Fantasy defenses last year and they have a potential rookie quarterback starting in a poorly projected offense the Saints versus the Panthers is another option Carolina gave up the most points to Fantasy defenses in 2023 and if Bry young is still you know rookie version Bry young the Saints could eat how about the Seahawks versus the Broncos Denver gave up the nth most points to Fantasy defenses last year and they've got a
