through some of those we'll discuss a little bit what happened last night on Monday Night Football I'll take a little Victory lap I guess if I need to but yeah should be good time so but I will also you with these waiver wire pickups for week two uh waiver should be running soon for you guys so if you have any questions about that um I'm I assume some start S questions will triculate into the conversation I will tell you we usually answer those towards the end of the week but if you have them maybe since it's just the original the OG dynamic duo of the FF face off maybe we'll just answer those so uh we shall see um we do have uh Zack Linton saying we in here so there you go so and uh all righty right up the bat Mario's asking actually Anthony I'm going to leave the studio for a second so I can turn off Chris Olave thec but you can answer him I want to turn it off I'm self-conscious about it I don't want to make any noise Mario's asking though Mario tavar is saying are we starting Chris alave this week okay so listen Chris Salve I get why uh people would panic because Chris last week was really invisible in a game that the Saints offense that might be the best game they play all year U I did not have high aspiration for New Orleans Saints and and right out of the gate uh they beat up the Caroline Panthers who let's face it between the Panthers and the Giants they're the two worst teams in the NFL and and the Panthers might even be worse than New York yeah so my Panic level on Al is non-existent right like I I I do think he's going to be the guy in this offense the offense is going to be funneled through him the fact that he only saw two Targets not alarming like go around some of the superstars in the league a lot of tight ends were dgs uh some Superstar receivers running backs you know they they barely showed up so uh you know like Marvin Harrison Jr very similar uh High snap count where alive 48 uh second most snap Shahed so they're like your two top guys here but alive certainly did dominate uh snaps and I anticipate uh him getting back in there from a Target perspective um they didn't have to throw a lot like this game was over uh as well very very early next week you get the Dallas Cowboys uh in Dallas in theory Dallas should dominate this football game and while digs should be locked up with a la Diggs is susceptible to the big play and even if not like Chris La could see 10 targets against Dallas next week you know this is going to be a game where New Orleans in theory should be TR ing so I'm not worried and he should get back on track against Dallas then they get Philly another game where New Orleans going to have to throw uh so the next two games especially I think Al should be nice you know what the real [ __ ] of it is about um you know you were talking a little bit earlier you were talking about um Carolina being like right there with the Giants you know which which which which you're not wrong in that assessment just the only thing I would say back to you is just I think that if if the Giants had a quarterback on their roster that was more capable than Daniel Jones you wouldn't be able to say that because I think they have enough Talent around there outside of him where if they had a capable quarterback listen I'm not telling you they're all of a sudden they're win the division I'm just saying we're not putting them in the same breath as Carolina that's all um but yeah so whatever uh let me see this one we've got upper 90s saying I have 150 Fab money Isaiah likely is available is he worth 99 Anthony he said that's how Isaiah Likely much it will cost to get him in my league my starting tight end is David njoku and Dalton Schultz so he is up against it Upper 90 um so Anthony would you bid that much right out of the gate to go ahead and get Isaiah likeley which whom we'll get to later on the show but we we answer this question because it is a waer wire so uh you know Fab isn't my strength I I'll put that out there I am very frugal um I don't like to spend it early but this is a situation because it's a long season where this isn't like we're dropping Fab on Greg dorge right like I I think Greg dorch was an outlier uh he led uh all Cardinals wide receivers and targets while Marvin Harrison Jr uh was invisible right like I'm not going to go blow my my my fab Budget on Greg dorch when it comes to likely he has a proven track record that when he's featured without Mark Andrews in a lineup he's been super productive and now in week one I want to put this out there uh because I I did a lot on Isaiah likele this week for Roto wire and for face off so I did some heavy research at Mark Andrews uh there was a stat per PFF like he was double covered uh more than like any other tight end or something since uh like like since 2001 and historically Mark Andrews does nothing against the Chiefs and the Spa's defense so we're in a situation where both Andrews and likeley likely played one more snap than Andrews so they coexisted on the field together likely got 12 targets he was dominant there's going to be a balance right but what I am GNA say about likeley I want to roster him because there were rumors coming at the season that Isaiah likeley is going to be the wide receiver too he's going to be hybrid he's going to be a joker and out the gate we've seen that unless you're still hanging on Rashad baitman or Nelson agalar if you look at the pass catchers there's Andrews there's flowers there's likely there is room for Isaiah likely to thrive in this passing attack so like when it comes to how much we're going to bid on him I I I would go pretty aggressive up to up to 30 to 40% yeah well 99 of 150 is over that percentage so then would you say no to that but or also should should we take that as a grain of salt from you as you prefaced it you're going to be a little Frugal I don't know if I I'll say this I don't know I'll whatever I I asked you a question but that I'm normally very frugal but I would go up to 40% for his lakely yeah I wouldn't go much beyond that because it is a tight end and I'm also listen I'm of this mindset and I get it uh Mark angers didn't look great in week one but he's not he's not Vanishing he's not going to be off but I gave you the story there like Mark Andrews does nothing against Kanas City historically yeah but but again like if you look at the wide receiver room bait like like there is a need for a a another pass catcher to emerge especially in a Todd monin offense yeah and if Andrews gets hurt you have a top Target so like I I would want to spend a little bit more 30 to 40 range I just think more so for the detractors to speak on the opposite end for Mark Andrews they don't look they don't even look as much at week one they just use that as a use that as a Brick in the Wall to say you know he's done but but but but you look at the injuries you look at the age and they start to worry and then that stuff is just more logs in the flame for them week one against Kansas City yeah um are are are you really worried about Mark Andrews or no no I'm not either I'm just I gotta ask for the listeners man said you you and I are on the same same wavelength but I got to ask here Mark Andrews in his career against um against the uh the Kanas City Chiefs has never had more than five receptions or 57 yards that's not good bob every you know two for 14 two for 15 three for 22 three for 15 five for 57 that's his career uh against Candace City since 2019 yeah that's they take him out yeah we don't like that so all right there you go all right good good job Anthony good job all right let's scroll back up here we're gonna we have we have questions coming in which is fine fantastic we're going to get to All are Collins Wadd auk worthy and btj I'm going to assume btj is Brian Thomas Jr um I don't think you need him but I think it's just if you can get him it's just an embarrassment of riches of riches my question would be who are you dropping to get him because if you're thin at running back and you're dropping a running back to get him then you know but Anthony what says you on that one yeah that that's exactly how I feel um if you don't have to give up one of those receivers and you don't have to give up a premium player yeah I want to pick him up because I don't want somebody else to have him simple as that and you know also with with you know Xavier worthy reports are saying that Maris Browns should be back sooner rather than later and you know I get worthy popped two G you know uh a gadget Run play and a blown coverage you only saw uh three Target gets four total opportunities with that run I I I think that you know Xavier worthy I'm not cutting them I'm trying to sell high but yeah James Williams looks like the real deal and very much involved in this offense so I would want to get him as long as you don't have to give up anything uh premium right okay you don't have to like sure you don't have to have him but I would want him to [ __ ] bluck another fantasy manager excuse me what's that now you you want to do what [ __ ] block another fantasy manager from pick him up just want you to say it twice that's fine that's good roll tape um Hamed a fif over on the Facebook he says should I drop chuba hubard for Jalil McLaughlin tank bsby or Bucky Irving these are all guys we're going to get to I I again while we're going to get to a bunch of these players um I would consider it Chuba Hubbard maybe for Bucky Irving only because of what he was doing on a yards per carry basis that said Jonathan Brooks is out for still a few more weeks so chuber hubard still has more time to shine in that offense I use the word shine Loosely but he has more time to give you fantasy Productions so I don't know if I actually to be honest with you I don't know if I drop chuba hubber for those guys specifically right now um Anthony you want to go against me on that and if you do which one of these players is uh the guy for you well first of all I was drafting a lot of trba hubber I I I thought he was a nice value I thought this Carolina uh offensive line was going to be improved with running the football with their interior offensive line editions this off season then we get to week one and you know this was potentially a situation where trouba hubber was game scripted out early like I said earlier and if you watch the game the Saints blew that game open early and it was good night they put you know Bryce young uh he looked like he took a step back back from his rookie year I don't think you know like you cannot make this kid one-dimensional like they want to run the football to make it life easier and the Saints said I'm not I'm not having it yeah um chuba hubber 30 offensive snaps six cies 14 touches zero targets that is not optimal my sanders meanwhile did play 20 offensive snaps uh five for 22 only two Targets didn't catch any I I I guess if you want to keep chuba Hub that's fine like I like these other guys a lot like especially Bucky Ur I think he's eventually cut into uh you know Rashad white who's one of the more inefficient running backs I think White's gonna catch on as receiver while Bucky Irving eventually Cuts in tank bsby and Travis etn they each had the same number of carries uh and and tank bsby outgained Travis etn but like do I you know do I want to advise you to say okay drop truba hubard because all right you you get the Chargers uh look what you know Alexander Madison had a solid game you get the the the Raiders uh in two weeks you get Cincy when Ram just kicked their ass you get Chicago paard had a nice game uh so for the next four games are prime spots that maybe chuba hubard gets going so I I might hold off yeah that sounds about right and then you know then at at a week six then you got Washington and Denver and then New Orleans going to get tough again in week nine right they might kick the [ __ ] out of you again and then we tend you get the Giants going into the buy so if you know chuba like choua hover has a nice schedule CH could could Carolina's defense stop anybody and then could Bryce young like do anything to where they can actually run the ball yeah so I might hope on chuba hubard and hope it gets better whenever I hear chuba hubard Anthony I always think of a little bit of well at least like Pete calls him chubba right like get out of here I hate when he does that I have to tell you we need to have a f CH on this show about the about the pronunciation of names on this show because I butcher some names but come on you butcher some names good yeah no you're like a yeah no you're like a Michael Myers you'll them real good all right let's get to these I butcher them too I don't care um all right let's let's roll through some of these though because we actually got a lot of questions but the good thing is that a lot of them do have to do with waiver wireup why don't we just stick with the question right there's no waiver wire that's what I'm telling you I'm saying I'm saying the benefit of the questions is that they are with Waiver Wires and adding and dropping so I'm saying it's a good thing so we've got Bobby Johnson over on Facebook we appreciate all of our Facebook people he says hey guys he what he's basically saying here is that he is a Mark Andrews owner he rosters him um if he claims likely and he is successful should he start both of them I would say no I I mean Anthony might give a different answer I I I get the appeal of it but I would say more often than not Isaiah likely or Mark angers will be the better tight end that week and the other guy will not be as good that's the one thing I would say that's what worries me here about if you're going to start both I mean we talk about starting two wide receivers on the same pass happy offense and even that makes us nervous now we're talking about tight ends based off of one week of of Isaiah likely this is where I think the hype train on Isaiah likely's getting a little too much little too much what says you Anthony go ahead scre me I'll kill you uh is I likely so I I want to make sure um I'm trying to find the Nugget I I found on Isa likely about him being more involved in this offense because I do think there are matchup situations is likele and Mark Andrews together because the the the the the Ravens are so pissed poor at the wide receiver position uh do I no like what I want to see because I said it earlier Isaiah leley had one more snap than Mark Andrew so they're both on the field and they're both running routs that's positive uh what I want to see is a game where you know where like like I said like Mark Andrew struggles against Casey how about a normal matchup that you know Mark Andrews would normally play well in and and then I want to see the targets distribution and I want to see how the how both you know because this is the NFL this is not it's not a normal to where if you have two high quality tight ends for a team to use them uh and I think Baltimore could be that team that you know they bring back the old grank and Aaron Hernandez Show all right there you go uh Anthony I just want to tell you I uh I shared our link with a special friend of mine whom you know and she said she doesn't know what's going on so oh okay right there you go all right let's get into another question this is coming from Jason Quinn I have no voice my hair is is not well today two things two things here we like to have fun with references from off air on the program at the expense of you guys we apologize the other last thing actually really this is actually Brock Bowers something I want you no let me speak if you guys are watching if you guys are watching tell Anthony that you could still hear him over when I play sounds because Anthony doesn't realize this so some somebody let him know somebody reassure that beautiful man because I know it concerns him um Jason Quinn over on the x is saying don't shake your head you know it to be true don't you know you know it's a real thing um Jason Quinn is asking hey guys trade waiver question for you would you trade zamir white for Brock Bowers tight end one is currently Ferguson or drop brillan Allen for Pat Frou Parkinson so I know where this question is going for both of us right now uh running backs right now are Bree Hall Isaiah beo Alan Kamar zamir white Jerome Ford Rico D and brilin Allen um I think I'm probably answering this question for Anthony he of course can give a take um I'm gonna say you go and get yourself Parkinson um I think Parkinson's got a good run here especially with pukaa now being on the IR I know 21 targets for Cooper cup was fantastic but if you go back to that year when people were beating the drum for Cooper cup to win the MVP do you want to know how many games you have with 21 targets none so this 21 targets is not GNA happen every week so I like Kobe Parkinson quite a bit Anthony what says you so the first part of it with Brock Bow's does interest me right because I know I was out on him but like is there a world where if you can dump and I like Samir white coming in and and after week one it is not promising Alexander Madison did not only dominate production but he out snap zamir white which is extremely extremely concerning for me uh so the fact that you might be able to flip zamir white to somebody and and you know because Brock Bowers is gonna have upside and there is a world where Devonte Adams is traded which makes Brock Bowers ultimately valuable down the line now when I look at the Raiders uh in their pass percentage they actually threw a lot now I believe they were trailing a lot of that game they only scored 10 points but in week one uh the Raiders did where the hell are they I'm trying to get their their pass rate uh pass 67% so about middle of the pack oh no that wait no they were eighth in pass rate but they only threw uh they only ran 40 plays uh passing plays where if you look at some of these other teams uh they they ran a lot more uh passing opportuni so like I I think that's a little bit skewed I think normally we're going to get more running out of the Raiders anyway but Brock Bowers did lead that team in Target um I don't mind dumping zamir white for Brock balers you're going to run into an issue uh when first Ferguson comes back because I don't see Ferguson missing extended time right like they're expecting him like he's not ruled out this week yet and I would start Ferguson over Brock Bowers 100% of the time when Ferguson got hurt which was I believe third quarter he had five targets already like he is CER like the fact that after the game Dak was the first one to report on Ferguson like it was it was Dak saying uh we dodged a bullet I went up to Ferguson he's a good spe like like that's the relationship Dak has with Jason Ferguson and so like he's the guy I want to but if you can dump zamir for Brock Bowers I don't hate it but if you want to keep zamir white because hey this is still a volume running team then Mike's right Kobe Parkinson is gonna have a lot of value moving forward I think he had five targets Monday night and PUK Anda on IR that's going to open things up a little bit more possibly for guys like Parkinson and and Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson now I do want to homer I'm going to say I'm not gonna make that deal and James Cook got a whole lot of touches but I'll say this this is a program by the way that we all hope we're all hopelessly devoted to Ray Davis and when he got in there I believe it was the third quarter when you got a when he got a you know okay amount of work he looked good out there and when James Cook got the ball he did some damage but he didn't really you know he didn't really kill it and I'm going to say this being a 49er fan I am actually worried about just how bad that Christian mcaffrey thing is now I say that in the perspective of we have to remember the 49ers aren't thinking about oh well who drafted him first overall the 49ers are thinking about we have to win a Super Bowl so if they need to rest CH McCaffrey for however long they need to for however long Jordan Mason will allow they're going to do that we're hearing a lot of conflicting reports here on Chris mcaffrey and I'm sorry for you folks who drafted him 101 don't worry I'm in the boat with you but there's no urgency to get him in the if if they roll through games like they did last night against that Jets defense there's no urgency to get mcaffrey back the urgency is to make sure that he is right for when they want to go win a Super Bowl because the NFL doesn't always coincide with fantasy football so I don't think I make that deal based on that based on that based on what I see at a ray Davis that's what I'm going with here Anthony Anthony uh I would love to hear what your thoughts are there and by the way he I just to add I apologize he does have Bree Hall and he's got rondre Stevenson as well so he's not the CMC fantasy manager I from the context I'm getting he must not be from from from what I'm getting here he has Jordan Mason no he's getting yeah you're right correct I apologize he's getting offer James Cook for Jordan Mason so he's got Jordan Mason and and he already he already has Bree he already has rre Stevenson and rre looks good we know what Breece is gonna do um I don't know if I make that deal um and that's a nice deal right like you know Jordan Mason you got him on waivers like you know he was a a cheap draft pick regardless of how you got him and you're getting offer James Cook which is a a really nice sell High the issue I'm having here is that during that broadcast last night uh I think I was watching the ESPN feed they had mentioned that CMC could potentially miss week two in Minnesota I think it's a given at this point but go on you know and now we're hearing the the tendonitis and the Achilles and if we look at these injuries for CMC right he had the calf pre-season he had a calf week 17 of 2023 these are these small tissue issues are are very much recurring and CMC is coming off a large work Lo last year Mike said it right 49ers going after a Super Bowl they don't give a damn about our fantasy football lineup so you might be better off holding on Jordan Mason uh because not only could the offer be even greater than James Cook right because if Jordan Mason starts this week and he pops off again his value creeps up and I get it CMC is eventually going to come back and then he's just a guy on your bench but what if CMC misses more time what if he eventually and I know like you don't want to hear it as a 49ers fan or a fantasy manager what if CMC lands on IR at some point no I I'm thinking that I'm thinking that's in the realm of possibilities know I do we got be realistic here I did an AMA on Reddit for RotoWire look at you uh today and I and I got a similar question hey what do I do with Jordan Mason I said you got one of the biggest lottery tickets right now and I I don't I I think I'm holding I'm not selling like I I would sell for max value and max value we might not know today we might not know week two like max value could come no you know right before the fantasy playoffs if CMC misses time to me then what are you selling him for right to me this trade here right and I always try and find a way to sum it up while Anthony's talking because Anthony's delivering a lot of great points they try and find a way to sum this up to me this whole James cook for Jordan Mason trade it's basically if you're in a fantasy football league and if you're looking at fantasy football numbers from last year and you can look at you can click on running back and you can click on points scor last year and you look at what James Cook did last year and you go oh geeez this is a slam dunk right so right away you think I need to make this trade but if you step back and assess assess the situation just as me and Anthony have right now things are a little bit different I don't think you want to drop Jordan Mason you're potentially trading away one of a running back who Kyle shanan trusts right now you know albe it even though after that press conference who knows he's gonna be fine he misspoke and I I'll I'll do that and Kyle threw him under the bus Kyle okay I'll get to that in a second because as a reg 49er fan I'll get to that in a second I'll just simply say this sounds like a trade to me where you're looking at last year's numbers and you're thinking holy crap James Cook I can get James Cook oh my God you're forgetting that the offense is much different now you're forgetting that Ray Davis is there so I don't make the move I hang I I hold on Jordan Mason um and just because you said it Anthony I'm and I'm gonna sum it up quick because I know you love when I talk about the 49ers a great talking point I think Jordan Mason what I honestly think and listen maybe we'll never know maybe this will go up there with where is Amilia aart were there people in the grassy null maybe this will go up there but I think maybe yeah maybe let talk about the same breath but I think that people I I think Jordan Mason I think he was told on Friday you know the Friday before I think he was told Hey listen just be ready that's what I think he was told I don't think he was saying hey you're starting on Monday night I think he was told like hey just be ready if it happens it happens be ready and then you're in the emotion of this guy just had the game of his life in the NFL I'm sure he I'm sure he ran Rough House in high school and wherever else but he's had the game of his life in week one NFL going up against Aaron roders in the New York Jets on Monday Night Football a place that you and I could we could only dream to be and he has this great game and he's asked this question so I'm My Philosophy is he probably spoke at a turn and he probably was told hey be ready probably not even by Kyle probably by the running back's coach or the offensive line coach and he just took it as oh [ __ ] I'm gonna s but when he's in that moment that's how he answers and listen the one thing that I love about Kyle when Kyle's all in on a player he'll defend him not to say he's not all in on Jordan Mason but if he thinks Jordan Mason spoke out of turn he's got no problem being a [ __ ] realist and telling you no I didn't say that nope that wasn't me he's got no problem lying or he's lying maybe he's lying but I don't think he is I don't think he is no C because you heard because you heard I mean this is what happened was Christian mcaffrey came in on Monday and [ __ ] was still tight and then that's when they decided like okay he can't go CU like [ __ ] was so tight I don't think that they knew on Saturday that chrisan mcaffry wasn't playing that's all I'm saying well and Anthony I'm sure Anthony you know what I have a great idea for a new segment this show is great content today I want for the loyal listeners who know this show Anthony whenever you bring up a conspiracy because I know you're coming up one right now I want you to have a role of tin foil with you and I want you to make a hat and wear it whenever you about to spew it you're about to view but go ahead I don't really it's not a conspiracy thing it's actually uh more reasons why I don't really love this for James Cook I think you can get better now James Cook he looked fantastic uh 19 rushes 71 yards three for 32 was a receiver over a 100 total yards only 13.3 fantasy points you want to know why he only got you 13.3 fantasy points because he didn't score a touchdown James Cook does not score touchdowns now last year James Cook had um six total touchdowns four of them as a receiver in James Cook's career this is a player with over 300 career carries he only has four rushing touchdowns yesterday or Sunday uh James Cook had three Red Zone rushes inside the 20 two of which inside the 10 one of which inside the five this guy cannot score a goddamn touchdown so his ceiling no matter how good he is in between the 20s he he he is not honestly I'm gonna lean Cooks I always lean Cooks I love Brandon Cooks I I do he got into the endzone last week I love him especially if you're a baseball player and I know we've already drapped our lineups I love them in beste ball late you know I had a lot of shares of them listen the the wide receiver two there in Dallas is valuable and it's not set in stone I I might I might side with you actually it's it's something in Dallas where it's more up in the air like there's not a Bonafide like for I don't know like when we're talking about the running backs earlier you know tank bsby and uh you know again Cooper Cup's not getting 21 targets a game so I think it's gonna be a combination of Kobe Parkinson and Demarcus Robinson so this isn't to say when I pick Shakir I'm not telling you Robinson's a complete fade he'll be good I would just go with Khia Shakir here Anthony what says you on this front um now Robinson had the second most snaps and seven targets last week meanwhile Shakir and this is what's concerning Shakir uh third most snaps you only ran 30 or 31 snaps uh where Coleman 42 M Hollands 35 Shakir only had three targets he caught all three for 42 Dalin Cade invisible uh but you know uh dominated tight end snaps and routs you know this is Miami and this week's gonna be telling the reason why it's gonna be telling because historically Josh Allen crushes that's going to even out uh so it would be either Ric or chase brown rioo or chase Brown as to who you would drop yeah you wouldn't drop de Mario Douglas I would that was going to be my answer for anything let me let me look at Douglas real quick I I mean so I'll just speak I mean my answer was gonna be I would have dropped Demario Douglas because yes I get it you're choosing to drop a wide receiver and keep two running backs and you're picking up a running back so therefore the implied Theory here is that you have almost too much depth at running back whether it be great or decent but to me just the value you can get from a Chase brown or a RICO d as opposed to a Demario Douglas I I would make that move I don't know I mean listen in terms of Chase Brown you're you're a u not Joe Mixon obviously he's gone you're you're Zach Mo injury away in terms of Rico D God forbid you're a Ezekiel Elliott injury away I so I believe there's more opportunity with those running backs and there is De Mario Douglas which is why I would make that move so Douglas um didn't really do much last week it was a tough matchup but you know matchup wise New England you know based on week one performances it is a cake run of passing matchups and I do think eventually we get Drake May a KJ Osborne 39 snaps leads the team Douglas 38 dorton 37 pul 35 so it looks like you know Douglas is going to be out there a lot so that's my my my thing about dropping him like he gets Seattle you know I get it yeah like you're not crazy like I'm not fighting you over it I'm just saying I would just go
