hi it's Mitch from picd dogs.com here with the free pick in the Iowa versus Iowa State College football matchup on Saturday September 7th 20124 of course it's my favorite day of the week during my favorite time of the year it is college football Saturday if you like all the free picks we do at pick dogs you'll love our premium picks our Best Bets just go to piic dogs.com click on the premium picks tab also got a link directly below this video in the description if you make bigger bets th000 bucks or more got $10,000 plus bankroll we also have VIP services for you these are not single game bets or single day bets these are long-term packages but if that's what you're looking for by all means text the number if not our regular premium picks single game daily longterm I bet mine every day but let's get to this one we've got Iowa taking on Iowa State this one of course for the shawk trophy these teams do not like each other this is a rivalry game played every single year in this case it's the big 10 and the Big 12 going at it you know Iowa a team that had that Stout defense a year ago could not move the ball offensively but um Tim Lester takes over as offensive coordinator and it ain't going to take much you know it's like that's really what how good the defense was it really isn't going to take a lot to improve this offense enough to make them a better team than they were a year ago you know you could have a great defense but if you can't put points on the board makes it tough to win and we saw that with Iowa then when they started to really have to step it up against the better teams that's where they really really struggled you look at some of these games 1310 against Nebraska win 1513 Illinois 10-7 against Northwestern 1210 lost to Minnesota 15-6 against Wisconsin they're going to need to score hot more points than that because I think if you hold teams in those ranges you should be able to win a lot more games than Iowa did and I think that if they can do that they could possibly you know pulling up pull an upset against one of the big boys in the conference and uh who knows where where that can lead them meanwhile for Iowa State this might be Dan Campbell's best team that he's had I mean he's had some talented players there of course WEA a few years ago but um you know last year the running game was not very good at Iowa State but this year it looks to be much improved they returned the quarterback top wide receivers and plenty on defense as well and I think you know Iowa State I think has a chance to do some things we saw Iowa State in their opener scored just 21 points against North Dakota but it was a dominating performance anyway slight it North dakot North Dakota was able to run the football on Iowa State but they were unable to pass and Iowa State still trouble running the football like we saw a year ago meanwhile Iowa in that domination of Illinois State it was about as one-sided as you could expect it to be it was all Iowa in that game but still a lot of field goals early in the first half it was 6 nothing at halftime then it went 12 nothing 19 nothing I mean it's just it was just how it was you know six points in the first half probably not going to get it done in this style of game I think this one's going to be a dog fight I know two and a half doesn't look like it's a very big number but I think in this game I think that is a really big number I'll take the points here with oh with Iowa State I think you know this game probably is decided by two or less so I'll take those points and that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in be sure to use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
