hi it's Mitch from picd dogs.com here with your free pick in the Notre Dame versus Northern Illinois College Football matchup on Saturday September 7th 2024 it's my favorite day of the week during my favorite time of the year it's College Football Saturday if you like all the free picks that we do at pick dogs you love our premium picks our Best Bets just go over to piic dogs.com click on the premium picks tab we've also got a link directly below this video of course if you make bigger bets thousand or more per game got a bank roll of $10,000 plus um got VIP packages if that's what you're interested in but those are longer term packages only we do not have short-term VIP or single game VIP single game and and single day that type of stuff all the way up to yearly packages are available on the website but let's get to it we've got Notre a taking on Northern Illinois northern Illinois one of the top teams in the Mac this season question marks at the quarterback spot but looks like those might have been settled as Hampton looks to have got have won the job there threw for uh pretty good yardage in that opener against of course Western Illinois 328 yards 18 of 25 touchdowns super efficient and we saw a lot of this in these FBS versus FCS games whether it was you know the top a top tier F FBS or whether it was you know Northern Illinois who's not a bottom tier by any stretch in fact you know one of the favorites to win the Mac this season but um you know Northern Illinois ran the football effectively we saw saw them out on the field didn't really um we can't really get a lot from it um Western Illinois did throw for 204 yards on them didn't didn't rush the ball all that well 29 carries for 94 yards while uh like I said you know Northern Illinois 312 yards rushing 394 yards passing basically had half a Seasons worth of uh worth of stats there in that one look at the other side of course Notre a played that big game at College Station against Texas A&M was nip and Tuck for a while but in the end Notre Dame gutting it out Riley Leonard certainly showed that this guy just seems to find a way you know and I think you know that's why last week when I did the video and I took Notre Dame in that game and guys hammered me in the comments and you know that's okay that's what they're there for and that's I like it you know I like the back and forth if you've ever seen the live shows but the thing is is that you know Notre Dame has a ton of Talent on this team they've played in a lot of big games and when you look down the schedule now maybe it doesn't look as attractive or as difficult as you know some of the other schedules in the nation but you know games like this not exactly a pushover you know we saw what the Irish did in the second half especially late in that game they did shut down Tex s when they needed to you know the game was nip and Tuck the first half really exchanging field goals and then you know Notre Dame got that touchdown texam tied it up and then you know what Notre Dame not only did they score the the the the go-ahead touchdown at the end in the situation where a lot of teams you know might be playing for the field goal they also got the field goal to cement the win after making the stop so you know part of that I think is on Texas A&M but I think a good part of it was on Notre Dame the stats aren't going to be all that Gody only 158 yards passing for Notre Dame in that game but 198 on the ground they were able to move the football I think Notre Dame's going to be able to move the football in this game as well but I think you know it might not be as easy sledding and coming off of that you know high-profile win usually the lines well they get a little bit carried away I'm going to take the points with Northern Illinois and that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
