SCAN THE QR CODE ON OUR SCREEN AND LET HIM KNOW ABOUT IT. >> LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST WITH TONY. >> WE HAVE A DECENT WEEKEND. THE STRETCH OF WEATHER THIS WEEK, CAN WE KEEP THIS ON REPEAT? JUST BRIEF INTERMISSION COMING UP FOR US TOMORROW. A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN AND HUMIDITY, BUT YOU'LL LIKE SUNDAY. THAT'S THE VIEW AND POSSIBLY GET CAUGHT IN A LITTLE BIT OF A SPRINKLE OR THE SHOWER, BUT I SEE MOST OF THIS EVENING STAYING DRY. IT'S A WET AND HUMID SATURDAY, BUT NOT A WASHOUT. THEN BY SUNDAY, IT'S ALL GONE, ENJOYING A LOVELY DAY OUTDOORS. WE STILL HAVE HIGH PRESSURE, THE GRIP IN OUR WEATHER, SANDWICHED IN BETWEEN TWO SYSTEMS WELL OFFSHORE, NOT COMING THIS WAY. AND IT'S KIND OF PILING UP THE SWELLS ALONG THE AREA BEACHES, SO WE'VE GOT THE ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH TOMORROW. THERE'S A FRONT ATTACHED TO THAT, WHICH WILL STRETCH DOWN TO THE NORTHERN GULF. IT'S A SOAKER OF A SITUATION DOWN THERE. ALREADY A MONTH'S WORTH OF RAIN, ONLY SIX DAYS IN. OUR WEATHER WILL COME FROM THE WEST. IT'S A COLD FRONT. NOT ALL THAT IMPRESSIVE LOOKING, BUT GATHERING A LITTLE BIT OF MOISTURE. IT'S IN AND IT'S OUT. SO IT IS NOT A LONG STRETCH OF WET WEATHER, BUT A LITTLE BIT OF THE SPEED BUMP TOMORROW. SMALL CHANCE FOR A SPRINKLE TONIGHT OR TOMORROW, BUT WE WILL WAKE UP WITH A LOT OF CLOUDS. IT'S NOT WET INITIALLY, WHICH WOULD CHANGE BY MIDDAY IF YOU LIVE WEST INITIALLY. SO LOOK FOR PERIODS OF MODERATE DOWNPOURS, WESTERN NEW JERSEY, PARTS OF THE CAT HILLS. THE HEAVIEST LINING UP AROUND THE CITY MID AFTERNOON. IT'S 3:00, 4:00, WATCHING FOR ANY IMPACTS OF THE U.S. OPEN. AND IT IS NOT THE EVENING INVENT, BUT STILL UNSETTLED. AND THEN SKIES ARE CLEARING. HOW MUCH RAIN ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? HALF INCH TO AN INCH. BUT AGAIN, THIS IS THE ONLY REAL RAIN CHANCE FOR MAYBE THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS. AND SO IT MIGHT DO US A FAVOR IN KEEPING THOSE GARDENS NICE AND HAPPY. BUT YES, SUNDAY IS OUR DRIERER HALF AS YOU WOULD WAKE UP ON SUNDAY. THE WINDS ARE BLOWING AND IT'S BRISK. AND MAYBE YOUR COOLEST NUMBERS OF THE SEASON WILL BE TALKING SINCE MID MAY THAT IS A POSSIBILITY. AND DESPITE THE LOAD OF SUN, IT IS NOT NECESSARILY THAT WARM OF A DAY. MAYBE WE WOULD CROSS THE THRESHOLDS INTO THE LOW 70s. AND SOME FOOTBALL WEATHER OUT THERE AT METLIFE. YOUR SEVEN-DAY FORECAST, AGAIN, A LITTLE HICCUP TOMORROW. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN, MAYBE A DOWNPOUR OF THUNDERSTORMS. THEN LOOK AT NEXT WEEK, BRIEFLY COLD SUNDAY, BUT THEN WE'RE BACK TO 80s. AND THE BEST PART, THE HUMIDITY WILL STAY ON. >> WE ALL AGREE OUR LOVE
