Miami Dolphins 2024 Training Camp Day 2! Tua Sits Out!

day two of training camp and um you read that title [Music] correctly what is up Finn fans day two of training camp in the books uh got some news and notes some player pressers I couldn't get that one out if you couldn't tell by my face and uh yeah to uh be in practice today we're going to talk about all that but first got to talk about who was today's orange Jersey and it was Emanuel agba uh here I'll pull it up for you guys you can see him uh he's rocking the orange Jersey uh which one would be better maybe this one would be better no this one was better let me fix it for you guys um rocking the orange Jersey but check out the number 51 and that is because Deshawn hand is 91 so he is wearing 51 um and his contract details he's 2 million so he's has incentives to get up to 5 million it's a one-year $5 million contract incentive base but it's a 2 million guaranteed so he took a huge pay cut to come back with the dolphins they actually talk with him um in after practice to kind of give you an idea of All That Jazz so let me give you on the field stuff um day two of dolphins training camp wrapped up quarterback to a Tong of Alo was not present was present but did not practice safety Jordan puyer did some individual position work with no team drills Kendall Fuller jnu Smith Clay Campbell and teron Armstead also did not practice the offense uh today was highlighted by long touchdown from Mike White to Alec inold on a wheel route it was otherwise married by drop passes turnover sacks and missed throws another big defensive day Emanuel agba is True to this not new to this orange Jersey for him is what Marcel Lou jacqu uh was talking about and this is from Travis Wingfield practice was over um Tu was out there again with his teammates but didn't uh participate Quinton Bell had another standout day fysical Edge presence uh productive Rush day Emanuel agba was in the orange Jersey had a sack and some good run game of work strong two-day back for the vet now is that good thing for him or is that horrible for our offensive line Elijah Campbell had an impressive pick uh undercutting a Durham SMI route to the outside leaping catch got uh the feet in he could have had another but Anthony Walker made a great sorry pass break up underneath the route Campbell was everywhere making the most of an opportunity with puyer not participating pretty cool seeing the next guy up there um chop and cam Brown combined for a would be sack for the second straight day and just H how you'd think they'd get it chop one with speed cam used his arm length to run through the tackles again not too great Wadd made more impressive catches off the frame today Tyreek made his usual plays including an unreal catch on the Deep ball with Ethan boner all over him to end practice Tanner Connor stood out with his speed not just on offense but covering kicks uh he looks like a tank who runs 20 miles per hour uh he caught a ball and finished with the Sprint to the end zone neither of the two DBS caught him been very impressed with Brooks Walker that linebacker through two days they feed off each other really well and they were product uh they there was production in both the run and pass game on both days kater coou had two really nice pass breakups on the day uh much more on all this with his show go check out Travis Wingfield show um but yeah this was um this was Tua just a hat just watching as uh everyone else did their thing you gotta you want them out there you might have to you know pay the man um some news and notes from Omar Kelly quarterback again M of contract negotiations wasn't out there he stood on the sideline though uh Dolphins coach McDaniel acknowledged Wednesday that to his training camp involvement is being impacted by contract talks it wasn't clear if there was any other Factor besides the contract situation that contributed to his lack uh of involvement on Thursday but there's no visible signs of injury with the Miami quarter back um yeah for besides the six players who are physically unable to perform several others didn't participate already gave you guys an idea who that was Javon Holland was back at practice and participated on Thursday after being sidelined for a Time on Wednesday following a collision with Malik Washington so Javon Holland is fine [Music] um one of the best plays on Thursday Mike White delivered a throw to fullback Al and gold on a six0 yard touchdown again like I said on the wheel route Travon holler a nice deep catch and a 50-yard gain on a pass from Mike White former Giants linebacker cam Brown sacked white in a seven on seven drill Brown was a key special teams player for the Giants he also had a nice stop in the backfield on a left side run uh one day when Campbell was held out to Sean Han and Emanuel agba were owning their side of the trenches for the 11 on 11 period agba sacked white is second in two days that well no pads I'm going to say that so I don't jump off a bridge no pads running back Chris Brooks fumbled a pitch from quarterback Gavin Hardison defensive lineman Isaiah Mack recovered it and had a decent return Channing Tindle trying to win a job at at one of Miami's deep deepest positions inside linebacker had a pass break up on 11 11s good to hear him coming in and doing something outside linebacker Quinton Bell set the edge very effectively and tackled Devon Anan in the backfield Bell had a strong start to Camp defensive line owned the offensive line in trenches battle for the first 11 on 11 period in one sequence White had the entire defensive line in his face before he threw the ball 3 seconds after he likely would have been sacked boy undrafted rookie Center Ireland Brown delivered a high snap to Skyler Thompson receiver Anthony Schwarz who faced significant odds to win a spot the 53 man helped himself with a nice kick return kickoff return giving uh getting it to Midfield that's how you got to do it if you're an undrafted guy or a guy who's fighting to make the roster special teams baby defensive tackles X sealer had a tackle for loss on a right run from Raheem moer River Craycraft beat former bills Corner siren Neil for respectable gain on a pass from Thompson Hardison rebounded from a poor first practice to make some nice throws including an inside seam to Tyreek Hill who's moving as if someone hit the fast forward button while Defenders were still standing the undrafted UTEP rookie also delivered a 17 yard pass to brilin Sanders in the middle of the field white was picked off by Elijah Campbell on a pass to tight end Durham SMI agwa was in his face with pressure when white bootlegged on the play I'll give you my thoughts after I finish reading all this stuff rookie left tackle Patrick Paul held chop Robinson in an attempt to protect Thompson there's some positive there cornerback Jaylen Ramsay laid his shoulder in tight end Tanner Connor at the Collision of a screen pass that gained first down cornerback ker kou had two pass breakups in the final 11 on 11 sessions to defend Ive players celebrated every play they made on day two of Camp as they should tight end Tanner Conor caught a short sideline pass from White and out sprinted two Defenders to the end zone Conor speed was impressive on the play and then finally Hill caught a 25 yard sideline pass from Thompson to end uh the practice e Ethan Bonner was in great position in coverage and might have deflected the ball but the allpro receiver caught it none the less let me get two player press conferences and then I'll tell you my thoughts on today's practice um Amo ogba said he uh he has unfinished business in his return with the dolphins detailed the process of the signing back with Miami and staying prepared in the offseason to lead to his start of Camp he looks good doesn't look out of shape Javon Holland on the contract when it comes uh when it comes whenever they want to I will pick up the phone um it was it talks uh Javon Holland talks about this scare entry scare it was crazy spun around and everything it was wild did a front flip almost landed parkour but it's cool I'm all right thank God you're all right one minute I'm running uh running up next minute I'm like where are my feet above my head it's a good thing he is all right but that's what I got for you guys today um horrible day by the offense you don't have Tua out there you don't have you have the offensive line struggle by city but again no pads on so I'm not going to look too far into it not having pads on but this should be did Ryan sign uh with anybody hold on did he sign with anybody yet cuz I know he was meeting with people uh former visits the Giants projected New York Giants oine if gets things done with Greg van rot in Giants workout Greg van rotten so he hasn't signed with the Giants yet um again it's no pants so I'm not going to freak out yet but they're getting man handled by the defensive line um you might want to look at bringing in Greg van Ry you might want to look at bringing in some more help on the offensive line especially interior um you have you know so don't tell us that we're we're more worried about it than you are cuz again no pads on so I'm trying not to like but also two isn't out there that hopefully puts a fire under the Dolphins butts but also has that you know contract negotiation and talks speed up a little bit because again on the 28th it's open to the fans so you guys will be there and if two is not out there I know you guys are going to make it known that Tua is not out there and you're going to want Tua out there so is this going to be a thing that's going to happen on off because again Christian Wilkins did the same thing and he has the same agent where where he he sat in for like a week and then practiced and was like fine I'll play on my fifth year and then we lost them because we couldn't afford the contract um that others are going to give him so that's you know to me that's I'm happy with the way the defense is playing uh I'm surprised that they're playing so quick together being that it's a new scheme and new players I'm not happy with the offensive line performances but again there's no pads on so you can't really judge the uh trenches without any pads on because especially for the offensive line they don't have anyone to have nothing really to grab with the Defenders not wearing any pads uh but you know these backup quarterbacks aren't going to cut it they're just again as much as you don't like Tua he is the best quarterback on this team he is the best option for the Dolphins to win uh because Mike White is not it Skyler Thompson is not it as much as some people want to say Skyler Thompson almost won US the Bill's game go back and watch that game he didn't he threw two interceptions that gave the bill scores take your hater goggles off because that's just not the case Tua is the best option for the Dolphins to win and the funny thing is if you go back on my channel and when Brock tolber was happening I made a video saying Ryan tanah Hill needs to start and then all of a sudden we Face the Texans and Brock looked like dooo butter so we'll see what happens with this contract but you know overall the receivers did the receivers things um there were some nice catches obviously Wadd and Hill doing their thing I'm happy with the secondary um I'm happy with the guy stepping up without the Vets getting you know their rest day because that's essentially what it was was a rest day but bad day for the offense again back to back now you need to have a bounceback day tomorrow you have to have a bounceback day I think they'll have off Saturday being that then they have three straight days of Camp open to the media and open to the public so have a bounceback day tomorrow but comment below what's your thoughts uh you know I don't think Tua is going to do this for long um if a contract doesn't get done I think he's kind of just setting a little bit of a hey you know let's get this done type situation but again this is isn't something out of the normal for players you got Jordan love doing it you have Trent Williams doing it you got Brandon auk doing it so we'll see how this all pans out but if the Dolphins want to win Tu it needs to be the quarterback so we'll see how that pans out but comment below let me know
