49ers have been taking calls not making calls about today lands and then it came up as well that uh from uh Florio at uh pro football or pro football talk PFT that uh at the combine a little bit of conversation went down between quasey and John Lynch over discussions about what it might take to get a guy like Trey Lance here to Minnesota uh obviously it's something that people have been talking about for a while uh ever since uh Brock Purdy stepped up and you know it sounds like he's going to be their guy obviously with the elbow who knows when he's gonna be ready to go uh but obviously then there of course uh which we'll try our best not to get it's too much there is the Kirk Cousins connection when it comes to any sort of deal that could be made with San Francisco because of Kyle Shanahan and the connection they have um but yeah I guess let's just kind of keep it to Trey Lance how we how would we feel about Trey Lance better do my fourth video on Trails this is like the the never-ending story you guys are probably too young to know I know it is it's been a while since you know The Princess Bride too I suppose no but yeah Andre the Giant was in that yeah I mean this is wait I skipped one this one's kind of funny Justin let's talk about our favorite QB oh I mean Hendon hooker over the head with the with the lens I think actually Trey Lance and hen and hooker probably would be a good comp but Hannah hooker did it in the SEC what do we do that's fair oh no back to yeah the trailer so obviously today in particular you're talking about like the whole Lance situation and that it keeps getting brought up well today was the news that we actually discussed a trade or what it would take to trade for um at the combine which was a long time ago but what it would take so what is your thoughts what is your thoughts I know I guess no Justin we'll start with you and then we'll go to Dave Dave Khan I kind of know what Dave is but Justin where you at with the idea of trade what do you think it would take to get him what would you give to get him what wouldn't you give to get him where are you at with this whole tree lands thing first off school what uh to my worthless opinion single greatest Twitter Youtube Tick Tock handle of all stuff whenever we get worthless and we gotta say hello to him but where I'm at what tree Lance is this what's the scenario and Dave's going to love that I always put a pretzel on everything are we talking about trading trade Lance he puts his own stipulations our backup quarterback this year who's going to sit for one year we're going to keep Kirk Cousins are we trading Kirk Cousins too because in either scenario I can listen to both of them uh personally I'd rather if we're gonna get Trey Lance I'd actually rather unless you can get a really decent haul in return I'd rather just trade a third round pick or a second round pick next year for trade Lance let him sit behind Kirk Cousins and play this year out with him now if it's hey no it's it's a it's a one-for-one quarterback swap then okay I'll I'll give you Kirk Cousins for Trey Lance and some additional compensation and that additional compensation needs to either be two third round picks this year or maybe a second conditional up to a first next year whatever the case may be and yes I can listen to the argument that that is a better approach in either way of your getting your quarterback in the future then my standard yes I want them to trade up to get an Anthony Richardson for example because you're not trading up multiple first round picks you've got a guy who's already been in the NFL learning under uh Shanahan and at the end of the day it's the same age as hand and hooker and okay we can debate which injury was worse but it's you know two pretty significant injuries either way so I would absolutely be down for it one way or the other I could absolutely listen to it and I would be okay with it right Dave your thoughts um I've I've been fine with getting them on the cheap you know um I don't I don't really care that he'd only have two years with us and yeah I you know sitting behind Kirk for a year and then we only got one year left on him don't see a problem with that if you get him on the Jeep um I think the ship sailed with cousins going to San Francisco because I do believe that they think Purdy's their answer moving forward um yeah and the fact that Lynch said he would trade himself if he got a good deal I mean that I understand the talking I I wouldn't doubt that that happened but yeah and then the connection with Minnesota and but in the in the fact that he's available you know what would it take is he where would he fit on this now let me ask you this is kind of you can answer it where would he fit in his draft [Music] are we talking like completely healthy it's not a great draft it's a pretty good quarterback draft yeah um would he be three or four I think so I think I think he would I think he would he would still be because obviously the way you look at you look at Bryce young CJ Stroud and then the other three or two he probably drops into here and headed hookers I think hen hooker kind of just Teeters along the line of like second group to well with Hannah and hooker I think he's flat out better um if he was if healthy you know if you give him the full season he wins the Heisman you know okay it is the D2 thing always throws me off the DJ thing always throws me off because otherwise I mean his he has Godly stats he plays one thing um so that's one thing with him like when we're talking about oh he has knowing he had no interceptions in like 28 touchdowns yeah what is D2 so that's the hard part it's like hooker is in fact injured yeah I put him right behind Richardson I'd put him above will Levis that's right yeah oh hold it but but above will Levis but behind Richardson yeah I would have to do two I would have to do that too just because one played in the you know SEC and the one didn't yeah I'm gonna go with that I'm gonna go with the sick athlete that did it in the SEC right who uh you know and they've only had just the same amount of games yeah and this in this comment I I agree with here like I'd rather have Lance and any other quarterback and second round or later so giving a second frame will be okay with me and I kind of look at it that way as well like Hendon hooker like and that's where I put him in hand hooker in the same grouping so it in what it would take to get them because in order to get a guy like um in order to get a uh hidden hooker you're probably gonna trade back and take him in the the second round accumulate more picks I feel like with that's only where I'd be happy with right with a guy like Lance you could potentially get him and a few more picks with him depending on what you give up to get him um so that's why I kind of see him in the same light where it's like you you wouldn't be trading away as much for a guy you're gonna take a chance on like yeah and if he comes in this year and sits behind Kirk and you're like and crazy and Kevin O'Connell just say man this guy just gain it then what did you do you traded away some late mid-round picks you maybe got a little more back as well you you gave it a shot and now you draft your guy the following year so it's even even if quasi traded a number one pick future number one pick not this year's but a future number one pick he it's not a career ending it's not a career-ending mistake it's not yeah it's not it's not trading away three first-round picks to get up to three-ending mistake right yep and and I'm with that I will say I'm on a different thing I don't think I like Trey lands I do think he's better than Henry and hooker obviously he is this cool thing this is the guy that you're talking about who has played in six NFL games started four NFL games this is a guy I actually don't think needs to sit behind Kirk Cousins I think he's already Sat by uh for a year not to mention he already has NFL experience where he went for five touchdowns two interceptions and a rushing touchdown um almost 60 completion percentage so he had wasn't the greatest starts of the new rookie career but he was still a rookie out of a small school in NDSU and showed that he can play in the NFL five touchdowns to two interceptions what's that and he he missed a year before coming into the pros too with covid yeah and he missed a year prior to that so it's not like we're just getting some guy that's going straight from NDSU to the Vikings I don't think of that at all so I don't think he needs to sit behind Kirk Cousins and if we could trade Kirk Cousins in that deal to the only team that I think might do it I do think you have a really good point that they might not at all because of Brock Purdy or whatever but I'm sure I just don't think they won it did if they did I and let's say that could be part of the trade and then we could get something I'd rather see us just get something for Kirk Cousins if we could inste including treylands instead of having one more year you're not just trading Trey Lance you're trading the two first rounds in the third round and Trail Lance and you're gonna give us picks to get Kirk Cousins I I don't see them giving us picks right well because otherwise I could rather have Kirk Cousins than a third round pick if that's what we feel like is gonna I just don't think would want to look bad yeah that is a real thing it is a real thing but it's the sunk cost at this point right at this point you're not getting anything back so at the risk of not looking bad I'm gonna get nothing for the guy or I'm not gonna I'm gonna have him well I mean there's other teams I'm just saying you you're not you're not going to take her cousin's guy and give and give away picks he would just rather get picks that's what I'm saying but the thing with Brock Purdy though is it he might not be ready next year no idea why I thought that they would keep him yeah which I could yeah but um yeah it's it's it's it's interesting to see what things because we've heard the rumors of what it might take to get them I'm really curious to see what it would take for them plus I think like I know you're talking about like the Saving Face thing like I think this is the best time for them to trade him though because I mean if you trade him like let's say let's say that Brock Purdy doesn't come back and you trade or you keep tray Lance you start him next year and he sucks then people start thinking about oh no no you guys gave up a lot to go get this guy and he just ain't it where now if you trade him and he's not even on your team anymore and even if Purdy comes back halfway through the season people I think they're going to forget about it because they'll be so excited for Purdy to come back you know it's always going to be the thought process we traded how much to go up and get this guy and it just isn't working out so I think now if they're going to trade him now is the time if you really want to like save face of the organization and make people kind of forget about what you did with the Trey Lance trade Now's the Time to do it yeah yeah it's only going to get worse Saving Face the idea of that's dwindles the longer you hold on to them no I agree with that exactly yeah what's up rap how you doing uh let me hop in here yeah what's going on rap skull um as a LSU fan and a sec Mega fan you can name a bunch of quarterbacks that have done could have done what hooker did think Jimmy G with the 49ers Kyle ass made Jimmy G uh just like Tennessee head coach made hooker coaching is kind of a big thing when it comes to quarterbacks I guess Pat Mahomes is a product of the system right I mean that's you know that's the argument also people forget hooker only started because the guy who beat him up got hurt he also lost the job in VA Tech Virginia Tech's when hooker got hurt the backup quarterback came and then the Bulls didn't drop off much um I really do like what I do see in Hendon hooker but you do make some good points like that's another thing too is I mean one thing about like this playing in the sack or whatever is you're also especially as a quarterback is you're also playing with some of the best talent in the country as well so I do think as including hand in home again and against it against Alabama yeah amazing game that's right I disagree a little bit that Tennessee didn't drop off at all they were undefeated and they were ranked on track to go to the national championship game before hooker got hurt again I I'm not I don't have a complete film breakdown of you know exactly how the offense was but I I just know that with him they were undefeated can't see that game and be like oh this guy is this I would have him write with Anthony Rich I'd have him in the top group but we have a new poker ranked number three yeah Anthony Richardson is still raw but Anthony Richardson he's just like too high oh you guys ranked him three yeah he's safe hooker I think hookers hooker's a lot safer than both Richardson and Levis for sure which obviously you shouldn't only care about safe but I mean to some extent I like I like a little bit safe like I'm gonna go pitch a shroud or Bryce young over Anthony Richardson even though Anthony Richardson has an insane ceiling right um and that's kind of how I feel about hooker and my puppy chewed it up Sarah you're gonna have to win another one yeah you have to win another one hasn't she won like four yeah well you're gonna have to win a fifth I was about to say she's got some spares but anyway um but no I think the main thing about uh yeah by the way JD's in here so you guys have to like the video otherwise he'll be on your ass about it uh yeah I've seen JD a couple I like the guy because he's got the same initials as me but that's true there you go but the main thing with the lance thing is again it does really come down to it's a very safe play you can go especially if you're able to get him for the third round pick or something like that um or even a second and you're not and this is our whole idea with hen and hooker is get him in the second round and you're you're not giving up for three first round picks for again Anthony Richardson at the end of the day he is a gamble he could be pay off immensely but he could also screw you for three years and you lost three first round picks yeah if we did it I'd be excited but it would be kind of scary where you could get a guy like Trey Lance that you could you can argue Trey Lance definitely still has that same sort of upside there's a reason why he got put up all the way in the third overall pick in that year um and that's still there I think because we haven't seen enough from them but we also did see some of him so um I do think it in my opinion I probably would rather see that than any other move whether it's picking hen and hooker in the second round or moving up for any of these quarterbacks just because none of them I feel completely confident about um and then if [ __ ] doesn't work out with Trey Lance you can go into the next season or the next draft and still go get a quarterback or whatever so which by the way uh Dave and uh Justin I want to see if you guys I know I was talking to Jamie about this mock draft that I saw do you guys see that mock draft from like NFL I don't know which who was from but where they had us moving up to number three to take will lettuce you guys yeah and we traded like yeah first rounders a second to Neil Hunter like holy no thank you let me be clear and Stroud was still there let me be clear hell no no look I'm a Levis fan I I like will Levis but I like I like will Levis at 10 to 13. Casey's the last one left I like 11 said like 10 to 13 if he drops I don't like him at three this is the first one to like like him and then I was like no I don't like him he's the thing is because Casey started like okay by the way I mean which by the way I've tried the mail in the coffee it's not as bad as you would think y'all sound like a bunch of dudes you didn't even like that girl liking that girl I mean come on gosh uh oh my god well the thing is everything that I said about him was well you know loves Trey Lance by the way he died he just uh he I don't know he was like a shortstop um he doesn't throw over the you know he doesn't have that over the top you know motion I I think I think Anthony Richardson does have that he plays tall I don't think will Evers does I think he throws he can throw different arm angles which I like and he's athletic and he's big and but I mean we talk about mobile quarterbacks and he's like he's actually got less yards per carry than Kirk Cousins has on as a career you know as a single as best season is like you know 1.1 less than Kirk Cousins and he talked about how he takes a lot of sacks and I'm like isn't that what we complain about Kirk Cousins about let's and I know I have uh but yeah I just we're going to we're going to the same thing we had except more of a taller athletic guy right I mean and and like I would like to say like you know you could probably coach that but also awareness is something that you kind of do have to figure out on your own and you don't really learn it in a way like a coach can't really teach how to be more aware it's kind of just something you have or you don't I guess and that's why what I liked about hen and hookers because this offensive line effed up like the QB School what's his name he actually was a Viking oh I didn't play for every he played for any every NFC North team uh no no um there's a YouTube channel well anyways he breaks down uh Hannah hooker and he is just bitching about the offensive line and yeah they're missing blocks like you know tomorrow um I Hannah and hooker played you know he is I think he's a smart dude gets rid of the ball right and uh I mean his completion percentages okay 61 yeah JT or Sullivan yeah yeah there was uh purple purple uh purple Daley did a thing where they do like the Obscure Viking player well he and one of the clues was he played for all four NFC North teams not in a game but he's has it wore their Jersey and yeah so JTL O'Sullivan but yeah he did the thing of Hannah hooker and his the Tennessee's offensive line is missing assignments like crazy or he said that what were they thinking you know it was either the coaches that had a bad blocking scheme or whatever but but Hannah and hooker was making the throws and yeah everybody's talking about well the receivers are so wide open I'm like well God I mean you still gotta hit him yeah we're gonna downplay an evaluation for quarterback because he had open receivers because he hit open receivers at a 70 clip yeah two years in a row where he ran for 620 yards and that was his uh you know and then last year it was 4 30 but I guess he got hurt if if he overthrows the open receivers or under throws him then we can start then we can start talking a little bit it's hard to throw it's hard to hit a guy as fast as Hyatt man yeah right right and and that's the thing with hooker I just like he stands so tall in the pocket um one thing I noticed with him is is there's so much going on around him just the pressure everything and he just stands tall like it's not even there um and gets the ball off and just throws strikes and that's something that I can uh that's something that I liked a lot from seeing from him and is a big reason why I had him up higher than a lot of people aren't they saying he could be ready for camp this year even yeah they say that there yeah he could be so which would be really nice if you could just have one fully season under a quarterback and you know get healthy but at the same time actually be able to practice with everybody already in 2024 than Anthony Richardson would no I don't agree with that you don't I think it's possible okay I think it's possible I do personally I think Richard I didn't do the whole two seasons as a you know football IQ and already where he's at I mean with all these games under his belt I think he's got yeah I think here's here's the thing I worry about with an Anthony Richardson I've said this before I just don't want to get to like like I think he needs a full two seasons right I don't want to see him go go to a team where it's like you have one season to sit and the next season you need to start because I feel like if he comes into a team and he sits and that team doesn't do well and he like he has a bridge quarterback in front of him that's gonna be a scenario where the crowd's gonna get on the like start booing at the games they're not gonna show up the team's like well we gotta do something to keep the fans involved so you so you switch out you bring in Richardson and then he never fully develops and he becomes like Lamar Jackson which is fine until it comes to contract time and then if there's injuries since he's gonna run a lot then you're in then you're in a scenario well [ __ ] what do we do now we have a guy that never fully developed into a passer we don't want to give him all this money because he runs a lot he might get hurt and then you're just kind of stuck in no man's land with that kind of like the Ravens are right now so that's what that's my main concern with Richardson and having to having to start him before he fully develops into that true passer that and remember I would be ecstatic to get uh Anthony Richardson but I'd be excited but the fact that we're if we're talking about 2024 there'd be more pressure to start Anthony Richardson right because we gave up three first round picks and maybe even more who knows depending on where you got but with him and hooker be like what would we spend on them we didn't move up we moved down and got him or you know maybe who knows I still think there's a team out there that likes him a lot and is going to go up into the first round and get him so I think I think he'll be I think he'll be picked 31 personally I could see if he's still there I could see a team jumping up to get him just to get that fifth year option which I know what the money you have to pay for it has become a little less enticing now but I do think there will be a team that wants to get up there and take a shot at him I'm not if we take him at 23 I would not be okay with that I'd like to exactly oh I think we all agree on yeah yeah I mean I get coming out of an injury like that no matter what yeah I get your point Casey that's it I hadn't thought of it that way but if I'm going to in my mind say all right which one works out first Hendon hooker's ability to recover from that injury to be ready for 2024 or Anthony Richardson sitting behind Kirk Cousins and working with Kevin O'Connell to be ready for 2024. I would still probably lean towards the Richardson side but I will grant that I hadn't thought of it uh in in the way that you just described it and the reason I say that is because is hen and hooker going to be able to do the things in 2023 being that he's still recovering from injury to be able to take mental reps to be able to take you know second team reps to be able to run the practice squad or you know stuff that the backup quarterbacks or developing quarterbacks do I don't know maybe by October or November he might be able to at some level maybe get on a small level to do something like that but I I think to me the the amount of talent the sheer talent and I'll ask you guys this question you tell me if I'm you know onto something or on something I think that Anthony Richardson has the highest ceiling of all the quarterbacks in this draft I'm not saying he's the best or the most ready right now absolutely would you confer with that or do you think uh yes mostly obviously I mean you just had the best combine for a quarterback but then that massive arm um one thing just Bryce it's hard for me because Bryce young has something you can't really teach and it's the uh just the being able to feel pressure to evade pressure and use your legs with Anthony to be honest Anthony Richardson also can do that something I do really like about him as well but I think Bryce young does it at like an extremely high level um just the same way you'll see my homes do it same way you just you see Jalen hurts to it in the playoffs last season and I think Bryce young does that amazingly and I don't think that's something that not everybody gets Plus at the same time I do think Bryce young another the mental game so do obviously Tom Brady isn't the most physically gifted quarterback with his arm or uh his just athleticism but he's the greatest quarterback of all greatest NFL player of all time um and and that's something you have to worry about too which I don't think we really know what Anthony Richardson is like on that level we do know the CJ shroud is a little bit more there he has way more Talent around him though as well so there's so many things but as far as just like if you're saying like it's really obvious that he has a really high ceiling because he is the most athletic quarterback and one of the best almost the best arm but then it's just those other things does he have that I know Bryce what makes Bryce young so special and that's why it's hard for me to put him higher for sure it's already such an unknown though that's the thing and that's why I do but that's the thing he is saying he could have all that all that stuff right just because if you hit on I would probably say sales you're gonna hit on that guy but that's and like and I think when you look at a guy like Bryce when you look at Bryce Young's CJ Stroud they're the two safest quarterbacks in this class right like they're the guys that I mean Bryce young you worry about because he could be standing next to me and I'm sitting in my chair I could stare him in the eyes and have a conversation with CJ Stroud a little bit taller but you know he's all he's played on top teams his entire career he's going to be drafted in the top five he ain't playing on the top team right he still would be the second tallest person on this podcast probably very well could be oh but but anyway but it's like but with but with you know with CJ Stroud yeah like he's he's got the mechanic I think he's I think he's like the most mechanically sound guy you'll see in these quarterbacks but that's because he's got a great offensive line he's never played with the receiver he's not gonna be a first round pick plays on a Powerhouse in Ohio State so but but those two are the safest or then you look at Richardson and Levis they each have their own things I think with Richardson's floor is quite a bit lower than levis's and that's why I kind of like Levis but Richardson's ceiling is Sky High through the roof bigger than levis's is so so if you kind of look at him like Levis you have a guy that if he hits his Peak could end up like the Matthew Stafford type quarterback right which is fine if he hits his floor you're probably looking at Christian Ponder with a much better arm um but or Mitch or like a mitch trubisky type where someone's going to make a trade up get him and it's just not going to work out uh but Richardson though if you hit I think me and Jamie are talking about it I think you got a guy who could be better than Pro Bowl Cam Newton on your hands right so and I think that's part of the reasons I think that's a pretty good comparison yeah I think that's part of the reason I'm out on Levis I mean your conversation just now about you know High floor low ceiling versus loaf or low ceiling High floor it sounds Vaguely Familiar to a quarterback we might have talked about for the last five years right yeah and honestly who knows like Levis could be another Kirk Cousins and hopefully Anthony Richardson doesn't come out to a you know press conference and looking like your grandma [Laughter] wearing a bandana or whatever he did with the like whatever he came out just all kinds of crazy but Richardson is definitely and that's why I think someone's gonna over I mean let's be honest uh all two Levis and Richardson will both be overdrafted most likely like wherever they go it's going to be an overdraft they're probably like late for Sacramento picks but they're quarterbacks and quarterbacks always jump up cream of the crop top of the draft type players because that's just kind of the way it works like back in 20 what was it what year was it uh Jared Goff and Carson Wentz like you're probably not going into that season thinking these two are going to be the top two guys in the draft 16 they're 16. 16. and then like Joe burrow you're like you're not going to that dropping and Joe Burrows gonna be the number one overall pick you're thinking too on here comes Joe burrow and look how that's worked out you know it's just quarterbacks get you know like they rise and fall they get over drafted which I'm obviously I'm not saying that burrow was but the quarterback position is just so weird to figure out yeah especially this year especially Anthony Richardson it might I think Anthony Richardson's the most the weirdest that I've seen I mean someone that athletic and that strong of an arm and there's just not enough experience I guess yeah um so it's just it's just such like the hot the ceiling to the floor thing with him is like gotta be one of the craziest he's got the largest range of possible outcomes yeah yeah which is intriguing extremely intriguing so if we got it I would be excited but you're wrong maybe maybe you're I don't know if you guys are like exaggerating I honestly don't think Anthony Richardson's floor is all that low Justin Fields is I think where he's I think that's where he was that's fair you can win five quarterback [ __ ] in the NFC yeah that's ridiculous people are putting him in the top like top I like Justin Fields a lot that's something I was talking the other day about I think Justin Fields is a lot better than what he's shown thus far and he's been put into a situation we were talking about coaching a little bit earlier about I mean this is an extreme example so don't take it out of context but everybody wants to downplay the importance of Phil Jackson because he had Jordan and Pippin and then he had Kobe and Shaq Jordan Pippen Colby and Shaq before Phil Jackson I'll combine zero titles okay you know Doug Collins had Jordan Pippin for three years couldn't get him past the Pistons Colby and Shaq were together for three years and they couldn't get past the Jazz until Phil Jackson got there so I'm not going to say that Phil Jackson is the ultimate oh he's the reason and those guys wouldn't have won titles without him but they ultimately got to the peak of their level because of him you talked about Patrick Mahomes earlier Dave Patrick Mahomes may or may not have been still pretty pretty darn good but would he have been like this generation of Tom Brady or Peyton Manning whoever maybe maybe not we don't know I think Justin Fields stuck in Chicago with the incompetence of head coaching the incompetence of ownership and what the team has been around him has not done him any favors I'm not saying he's on his fast track to Hall of Fame Greatness by any stretch of the imagination but I think Justin Fields has got a lot more to offer than than what he's shown thus far yeah yeah I think they're definitely laying out top ten I think this this year they're definitely putting it out for him like we got you you're gonna have Darnell Mooney you're going to have the uh you're gonna have DJ more you're gonna have uh uh you're gonna have Chase Claypool you're gonna have Cole come at you know did they sign an offensive lineman or they drafted a couple of the last couple years right I don't remember I don't keep track of the bears but then they got a defensive coordinator's head coach I think they're definitely putting it all out there like this is the year like but I agree with what you said earlier ranking him a top five NFC quarterbacks Preposterous yeah stop I'm seeing top tenants it didn't even Reign Kirk in the top ten yeah and then Dustin Fields is like number he was number six in the one I saw that's insane there's just no way and you have to pass the ball at least somewhat to get in that but the last thing you're literally on the worst the team with the absolute worst record in the NFL so yeah there's got to be some sort of weight there right but like the last thing I have on Richardson knows like Dave said like his floor is probably like that Library runs or it's like was JaMarcus Russell I wasn't a big NFL fan was that was it was that what he was was he like a running quarterback who could throw did he have the full dude who had a cannon for an arm and who can run he was like six foot I mean he was Dante's size but didn't so that could potentially be like the bottom the bottom bottom floor for Richardson right being like a Jamaica Richardson's floor at JaMarcus Russell yeah so JaMarcus Russell I'm just saying that could be his bomb out bottom of the barrel Marcus Russell was the dude that they gave um the the game film to and then he said he watched it in a game of blank tape hopefully Anthony Richardson well I'm not saying I'm not saying Anthony I don't think anything Richardson's like his athletic ability is way too high where it's he there's no other quarterback like him in NFL history as far like not that athletic he's broke all the F all the combine records rep said I'm better than the Demarcus Russell I would say like I would say like the floor of Richardson that's probably the biggest yeah one of the biggest flops yeah I think where he could like I where I see him ending up personally at this point is Lamar Jackson which is still okay maybe a little bit worse if it doesn't if it doesn't work out and his ceiling is definitely like like I said Cam Newton MVP Lamar Jackson even where Lamar that year was decent you know it was mainly Runner but could still throw the ball a little bit you can see that because he's he's made throws man Anthony Richardson for sure like he's in a and dropped it dropped it in a bucket from 50 yards out man he just he's done some [ __ ] and so just like for consistency and that will come I think yeah he has everything that you want I'm gonna throw the typical I'm gonna try to buy as many rookie cards of him as possible he's got every he's got everything you can want it's just going to be is he going to be put in the right situation with the right head coach or that can help him develop further into being becoming so did you see Adam the video I did on Adam schefter I mean purple Daley did it everybody did it but uh where he says that nobody's going in number two and number three and then uh the fourth pick is going to be CJ Stroud to Indy and that would leave Seattle would not take a quarterback and then six would be the Lions and then the Vikings would have to trade would trade with the Lions again yeah and to go up and get you know Anthony Richardson um one thing I want to say about Anthony Richardson that I actually do like a lot and I think in case it did talk about this before coming on here um especially with the idea of how good he can play going into 2024 is one thing watching him that I really liked him was the main the number one thing I liked about him was there's a lot of scenarios where he could have easily tucked the ball and ran and he decided to use his legs to extend and use his arm to throw so that's one huge thing with Anthony Richardson that not a lot of people talk about is he doesn't it doesn't seem like he automatically just goes to running it does seem like he will decide to just choose passing instead and that's a big difference than you see with a guy like Lamar Jackson or Justin fields or anything running backs is this crazy what his athleticism in is is insane and the fact that he has all that and he still chooses to throw the ball instead of run sometimes means a lot to me as far as uh where his potential can go because he's it makes me seem like he's really interested he'd be really interested in learning how to throw better instead of just wanting to just run where his natural abilities come from right let me Circle back just because we got talking here let me shout out to let me he's in the building that way let's get some shout outs real quick and Lamont's in the building and we just saw something everybody's going on everybody the Gigi's the ggs are doing it they're ignoring you yes tonight huh said I'll put him up all right Rich Gang uh uh if we can get Lance this year and still keep our first round pick yeah well that gets back to what we were saying earlier there is a very good case I would not I would not give up the first round pick for Lance I don't remember that earlier like no chance no not at this point no no especially knowing their situation they don't have that kind of uh right that would be a massive for anybody who says trading three first round picks and a player like Daniel Hunter to get up to three is an overspend spending a first round believe let's go JD I have liked Anthony Richardson I mean I do like him when I trade all the way up to the third overall pick for him and give up three three firsts do you think I would be you think trade like that I'd be like oh God that's a lot but if they took it took a quarterback with it and got the guy that they wanted I've never hated you man there's no hate no one hates he knows it's a
