NFL Week 1 Predictions | Week 1 NFL Picks and Bets 2024

welcome back to another professional picks NFL season it's our third year dropping our analysis for you guys and we got a lot of games to get into so we'll jump right into it and I'll pass it off to W to preview our first match up yeah first game of the year that I think we're all excited about we got the Ravens heading to Kansas City last year the Ravens finished second overall in PFF scoring system and the Chiefs not too shabby at the eighth uh overall ranking and obviously uh the Super Bowl champions there Ravens really well balanced with a great offense and a defense Chiefs have a pretty solent defense but obviously are carried offensively both teams made great moves this off season and I'm thinking both teams take a step up this year even for there at last year what do you think about this game SLA yeah this is the AFC Conference Championship rematch from last year Chiefs won 17-10 really led by the defense in that game and chiefs made big mov in the off season especially in the the wide receiving Court adding Hollywood Brown um Xavier worthy through the draft but Hollywood Brown he's doubtful as of now um also unsure if rashy rice number one receiver is going to end up getting suspended for that car crash so I mean originally this spread was a little heads scratching to me Chiefs are the better team this insinuates their this is an even matchup and a neutral site but given the wide receiver uncertainty I think that definitely makes this more of an even ball game here and Travis K is getting older we saw him slow down a little bit last year eventually he is gonna fall back to just being an average tight end so I mean I might be crazy but we saw the Chiefs open last year slow with a loss against the Lions I really like Baltimore plus three even though they're on the road I think if especially if Rashi rice gets suspended Hollywood Brown doesn't play in this week one game that would make Xavier worthy be wide receiver one um the rookie and then a slightly less efficient Travis Kelce is your number one option so I mean Baltimore made some huge moves Derrik Henry's can really reinforce that run game and I mean they only put up 10 points in that loss I I think they'll do do better in this game and plus three they are an arrowhead but I like the Ravens given the uncertainty for the fuse on offense yeah I I agree with everything everything you said I want to be clear that it's not this season where Travis Kelce will be an average tight end but I do agree that he you know as he gets older naturally he's not going to perform as well and his best days are certainly behind him I'm with you here I like the Ravens plus three I like the Ravens to win this game straight up I do think they're going to win this one I think their defense is so smothering I don't think unlike the Chiefs that it takes a lot of Reps for this Ravens defense to lock into be being Elite the Chiefs defense takes time to become the postseason machine that they are and that's really the complication that is a Steve spagnolo defense and really just the rotating young players that are in this Chief's defensive unit um you're going to see as the spread implies the Ravens put up more than 10 points here the Chiefs offense especially with their really young receivers and a lot of people taking new roles in that wide receiver aspect I think it's going to be a little bit harder for the Chiefs to connect in the passing game again against the smothering Ravens defense I like the Ravens straight up even on the road there's Night Football yeah no no alarius need either for the Chiefs he was leading that secondary yeah um yeah he's gone now so I mean definitely some new faces that are going to have to prove themselves we've seen the Chiefs start slow the last few years so I think we could see it here again all right that's our first pick don't forget to like And subscribe um leave a comment uh let us know what you guys are taking but love to see the interaction on the channel we'll get right back into our picks um the second game we have here is yeah another really intriguing game here for me one I would like to watch a lot you got the Eagles here are actually despite the expectations last year and kind of underachieving they were the sixth best overall team according to PFF Green Bay not to far behind at um the 12th overall team Eagles had you know pretty solid offense and a pretty solid defense according to the PF stats that be enough for them to become six overall I think they're going to take a step up this year as I love the offensive coordinator move with Kell Moore I think Jaylen Herz is playing hurt not injured a lot of those games that affected his play especially in his passing ability I know they got rid of a longtime CER Jason Kelce but I like the offensive vles take a step up this year and I really like the grp the Packers too this year take a step up offensively so that's what makes this game so intriguing for me but what do you think about who you takeing in this one and you think it's as close as this spread implies because you know like you said basically uh even teams had a neutral s yeah I mean I I do think this is going to be a really close game um two teams turning in completely opposite directions at the end of last year Packers really riding a push to make the playoffs get a win under Jordan love um and then the Eagles just falling apart in that second half losing to the bucks um so yeah it's kind of what do you expect to happen this season but as you mentioned already coaching changes in Philly serani is definitely on the hot seat there but I do think it's going to pay off we've seen kellmore off defenses super efficient added taquon Barkley just picked up Jan doson as wide receiver B there teams loaded with weapons but I mean Philly at home and you get the hook um to win by a field goal so I do like Philly here as well but I mean Jordan love what we saw at the end of last season from him he could also just sneak into the elite tier of quarterbacks but he has to do it again I mean we haven't seen enough of him yet yeah I think the big difference in this game for me is quarterback and I really like Jaylen Herz again I think it takes a a step back to where he was two years ago when he was near MVP caliber there um you know you g to see a little bit less rushing out of it a little bit less tush push but again I like the receivers again an elite receiver in AJ Brown and a budding receiver in um Devon Smith there again you gotta love the acquisition of saquon Barkley you think Kell Moore is gonna have a field day coordinating that offense and another huge underrated coordinator move is Vic fangio who is we've seen firstand with his Brilliance with the Bears um as a defense coordinator there for Philadelphia too looking to get that defense even back again where it was two years ago so I like um the Eagles here because of that defense I think they got an edge in the Packers who have you know no slouch on defenses themselves but between the coordinators the talent they happen on both ends um and the quarterback play I like the eagles here to win and I honestly would take the minus two and a half here yeah I think they get back on track like you said um serani loaded that that uh coaching staff up after last year and definitely not g to be call plays anymore but next up we got Arizona Cardinals heading to Buffalo just under a touchdown spread what are you what are your thoughts on this game L yeah this an intriguing one for me because in my mind these are two teams trending in the opposite direction obviously the Cardinals um had a pretty coveted pick in the draft got Maserati Mar at Ohio State at wide receiver which they desperately needed um but they're trending up just because ker Murray was hurt a lot of the season and he's you know a very well paid quarterback that plays well um when he's actually playing Dre MC bride tight James Conor running back plenty of weapons there on that offense it's the defense that has been really abysmal for um the Cardinals last place by a wide margin in PFF defense last year um which is why you get such a high spread for the bills but I think again the bills trend down obviously um their defense is not quite where they used to be in that Elite caliber of defenses and the loss of ston digs cannot be overstated here big question marks for me with Buffalo because their receiving core um is really young in in question at this point with um Keon Coleman first round draft pick Shakir at wide receiver I think as a second round player and then newly acquired Curtis Samuel there so no one really knows what role they're going to fill quite yet it's really going to be relying on heavy dose of Josh Allen both his arm and legs uh James Cook both in the running passing game and then Don kid Kate at tight end honestly I think with those three offensive players it's probably enough against the Swiss cheese Cardinals defense but I wouldn't be surprised this game's a little bit closer than we think six and a half is a little Rich for my liking uh but I do think the bills with the edge on defense the top 10 defense last year um have the win at home now will it be by touchdown or more that's one I wouldn't take I think I smell a back door kill over here yeah I I like the Cardinals plus six and a half I know they're on the road but they were three and five with Kyler last year they got better and they were one and eight without him so really just not a competitive team but I mean Kyler is a good quarterback he's small so he has to deal with injuries but coming in fresh into the season I mean he's going to be at his best um you already mentioned Maserati Marv Trey McBride really exploded at the second half of this um last season so I do think this Cardinal team is going to be much more competitive than they were last year they already were in those few games with Kyler versus the games without him so I do like the six and a half but I almost like the total um going over um Josh Allen touchdown machine 44 total touchdown he accounted for last year I know they dropped the weapons but this Cardinal's defense isn't great and he's just he doesn't play conservative no matter what he's gonna either turn the ball over which is GNA be a quicker score for the Cardinals or he's he's GNA score and just W this the victory he's going to have to do it all this year and travius White's gone on the bills you got Demar Hamlin slated to start safety so this bills defense isn't quite what it was last year or really even close to the same level so I like the over even though it is a high I Mark for week one I I like thato it's a great call all right next up um not as great of a matchup um largest spread of the of the entire week one late you got New England to Cy yeah not much for me to say about this one New England is struggling basically everywhere offensively they got just about the worst offensive line if not the worst offensive line of the League this year um they were bottom five pass blocking unit last year run blocking wasn't all that much better but it certainly wasn't that caliber of deficiency but who is you know Drake May rookie quarterback who's how first of all how's he going to play himself no one knows that um and then who's he even going to throw the ball to who's going to run the ball for that offense I just this patri team is projected by all the books and all the pundits to be the worst team in the league and that's just what I've seen at least on paper with the guys that have their roster now we'll see what rookie head coach Rod Mar can do one of the guys that's really well respected in this league especially for his defensive prowess um but I just don't see them hanging with the Bengals this game the Bengals should win this one easy I think you're going to see the Patriots offense really struggle this game yeah I mean they actually also just announced jacobe brassette is still going to be the starter for week okay I actually that plays in their favor I think so but at the same time he's never been a super Dynamic quarterback that these teams he's a game he's a game manager and this Patriots offense isn't set up to to win games holding on to the ball so yeah I mean the Bengals I think they also want to air it out Zach Moss at bar W um more of a receiving back and I mean you got burrow back so I expect Cincinnati to just throw all day um also have Christian Gonzalez coming back for the pitchers but like you said not enough weapons to to keep them yeah I mean Gonzalez is a great cornerback and you know you can't shut down Jamar Chase but you can slow him down Christian Gonzalez can do that you still got T Higgins there you mentioned Zach Moss a good receiving back don't be surprised to see a lot of Chase brown or at least some with Chase Brown in both the run and the pass game there too as uh he's getting a lot of Praise out of camp but I'm with you um there there not enough Talent on this Patriots team right now to I think overcome a Bengals team who you know this is probably their last year with the current team as is and at least offensively with all the weapons they have at a wide receiver and they got to make things count now absolutely gota win games like these at home all right next up we got Minnesota going to New York to play the Giant this was a playoff matchup two years ago now two teams trying to get back into the race what are your thoughts on this game yeah originally looked at this line and I thought you know Sam darnold starting at Vikings quarterback like why am I why would I not take the Giants to win this game and then I started to think about a little bit more you know the Giants they do get Malik neighbors out of the draft LSU and I got Daniel Jones thr him the ball but outside of that they really don't have much going for them they they lost saquon Barkley they have I think Andrew Thomas is their stud right tackle but not a great offensive line their defense was the six worth six worst defense scor in the PFF last year whereas you look at the Vikings very solid offensive line now you get Aaron Jones to run behind that instead of Alexander Madison last year that couldn't run behind the grest off line ever assembled obviously you got the best receiver in the game in Jay jeda um Addison coming back a year or two wide receiver I think hackinson can't remember he's still on the team but he got injured still there yeah still there like that's a great receiving core for even San Bar to throw to now their defense is not great it was a ninth worth in the League last year but again they're still better than the Giants defense so two bad defensive teams two bad offensive teams but at least you have more weapons in the Vikings side and I think I have to lean with them as they should be at least more effective in the Run game and the pass block game yeah I mean I have to agree I don't think the Giants got any better from already a really bad season last year um and I also don't think it's the worst I mean I know over the course of time McCarthy would be a better option for the Vikings but I mean week one I don't think darnold is going to play that much different than you what You' get out of McCarthy maybe better in this case um so yeah I I also like them on the road um yeah minus one and a half almost even spread here so yeah I mean they just have way more weapons like you said defense def is even better it it'll be a close game spread into Kates but mostly I think because they're on the road more than anything all right next up we got Tennessee going to Chicago Chicago is coming into this game as a four and a half Point favorite um I'll I'll kick this one off and I mean I'm all over Chicago both of us Bears fans but I mean looking more into Tennessee I mean they made a lot of offseason moves this team more quietly and they tend to get guys who are at the tail end of their career don't really perform as much but this team's going to look brand new just in the back field alone they added quandre Diggs from the Seahawks they added Alerus Sneed and then they also got aier from the Bengals um I mean outside of Diggs these guys aren't that old I think they're still going to be effective and this this Tennessee team should be a lot better got JC leam in the drafted tackle so I mean originally I was all over the bears but the more I look into this game I think it's going to be closer than I expected with uh rookie Caleb Williams starting quarterback what do you think completely agree uh again I can't iterate enough Bears fans here and we were all over this and looking forward to the first game of the season but I do think the Bears and the Caleb Williams hype it's a little bit too much right now um for me to think the Bears are going to come in here and steam roll this Titans team while this Titans team is poor and last year they did have statistically the worst off offensive line in football which is why he saw such a decline from Derrick Henry these two two teams were very similar last year in terms of PFF grade Titans 26 overall Bears 27th and again both teams made a lot of moves the Bears were just much more publicized because of the Caleb Williams pick and because the Hard Knocks like you said a lot of great guys on the both offense and defense have been Acquisitions in the off season and you know you didn't mention Tony po at running back to Kelvin Ridley at wide receiver alongside DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler bdd again guys that um more the tail end of their careers but you know veteran head coach Vel is going to make the most out of this still got stud and probably the best team to tackle Jeffrey Simmons these guys got Playmakers and more importantly I believe always and the head coach of Mike Vel these guys are going to come out ready to play and they're gonna throw some exotic schemes out of Caleb Williams that hasn't seen a full speed NFL game for four quarters yet and that concerns me I do want and hope and think the Bears will win this game but the Titans plus four and a half seems way too juicy not to take I'm I'm with you all over this yeah and will coming in second year like he will be able to build on what he had done last year you know no one had that high of expectations for him this year or sorry last year and he played solid he had some games he made a lot of mistakes too but you expect him to take a step up this year and they get they put the weapons around him at wide receiver to make that happen yeah I'm mean correction no more Rael for the titans this year oh thank you thank you yeah can't unemployed I know I know I think same deal as bich I mean two great coaches I think Brian Callahan Brian Callahan but but yeah I think nonetheless I mean like you said two teams made a ton of additions but Tennessee just less publicized and that's kind of always been the case I don't want to live in a world where Bill Bell check and Mike verbal are not employed as a head coach that one hurts new new world but I mean maybe next year for their s next match up our first divisional matchup on the Slate we got NFC South um Carolina Panthers going up against the Saints in my eyes I mean I'm not super personally interested in this one but what are what are you looking at as far as this one goes yeah I mean this you know every week you can't or every week one of every season you can't just base off what you think it's G to happen based on the prior year and if we're talking about this game last year yeah the Saints win this one just because the Panthers offense was so abysmal especially because BR strong wasn't playing well you can't just assume that it's going to happen this year um while you can maybe guess it's going to happen uh I part of me thinks that because divisional matchup and just because Bryce young was raford so highly that they almost have to take a step up this year and look a little bit better I wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers won this game I'm not expecting them to but again not a game I care about watching too much but just now you still have th he played pretty well last year gets another year under his belt and trying in the wrong direction but Dante Johnson a wide receiver pretty stacked or pretty crowded running back room there with a lot of guys that could potentially do well in in the panther backfield whereas um you know crowded backfield with the Saints but I don't like the direction that c is heading he's really only valuable right now in a PPR fantasy league because he gets 10 catches at average two yards to catch every game um you're going to need to see Derek Carr play well and he really didn't do a ton of that last year so Bry young step up I think this is their game to cover for sure but potentially win there's going to be an upset in week one I think this could be one of them I think so too I mean yeah like you said if we're going off the last year I think you roll the Saints here probably even take the under but I mean it's it's another season both of these quarterbacks going into their year two with the franchises a lot can change I mean not a lot changed on the Saints roster too um they're hard locked by the cap right now so yeah I think the Panthers could at least have more room for improvement than that's how it is all right next matchup we got the Pittsburgh Steelers heading to Atlanta in another game that indicates um an even matchup on a neutral site I personally don't agree with that what are your thoughts on this game with Atlanta minus 3 yeah this is giving me trap game a ton because I'm with you like we were looking at these two teams and Atlanta seems like the better team by more like just the better team again spread implying even matchup here you see some really poor quarterback player in the preseason from both Justin fields and Russell Wilson here I don't know why it's minus three doesn't make sense to me that it's minus three I'm if I were to take one of these two I think I would take the Steelers plus three simply because it doesn't make too much sense Steelers quietly even throughout injuries put up the seventh best PFF rated defense last year um the Falcons not too far behind at 12 you see um that their offense for the Steelers wasn't all that great but these two teams finished right n p last year 16 and 17th overall in PFF the Falcons the slight Edge the Pittsburgh shielders are going to win at least nine games a year Under head coach Mike Tomlin they're going to win some games they might not maybe this is one of them I I like still the back field of Naji Harris who's not tremendous but he plays decent and then Jaylen Warren kind of two uh two-headed dragon there if you can get some upgraded quarterback play from one of these quarterbacks who knows who's going to start um you got a chance to beat the Falcons I don't understand it to your point but the steers have a really solid defense and a huge exp factor with TJ Watt and I think through defense comes to play and gives him a shot to beat the Falcons here who still um a a brand new team in a lot of regards here um with especially on offense with a quarterback and head coach and everyone calling plays in between yeah yeah I think that's probably more the reason than anything on paper Atlanta looks way better but yep new head coach Kurt Cousins coming off the injury do have a solid o line in Atlanta but I mean we'll see if he is the same quarterback still a pocket passer so I don't think it should affect him as much no maybe like a Lamar but um we also have the Arthur Smith um rematch in week the Revenge game yeah so so maybe that plays into it here but but yeah I mean I don't feel great about it but I I think I'd have to Wi yeah it just doesn't make sense right maybe I'll fall in the track but hey public did great last year public did do well it was crazy Vegas will be back with a vengeance yeah true I mean out we got to catch the trend early yeah yeah we do x match up Miami Miami game or not Miami game Florida game here with Jacksonville heading to Miami Miami has three and a half Point favorites at home in week one what are your thoughts that's it right to yeah Miami was tremendous last year with the third best overall ranking in PFF um I lean on that heavily as I have all video but I really respect these stats the Jags really unperformed for me last year um being the 23rd overall team despite being nine and eight they really uh dropped the bomb last year I think they were eight and three and kind of on Pace to be the number one seed in the AFC at a certain point or at least um top seed there and then the wheels fell off I like them to get back on Pace this year um but I do not think they're the same caliber as a fully healthy and a fully fresh Dolphins team we always talk about Tyreek Hill getting one year older maybe one step slower still a beast um what I'm really impressed with in this Dolphins offense is the speed of him obviously but then Jaylen Wadd too they'll know about Devon hn uh running back here I think I love the offense and just the well Ed machine U Mike m Mike McDaniel team for the Dolphins more than what I've seen the Jaguars thus far again Jags a lot of weapons too um love their wide receiver first round pick to really Bo for the offense but just not enough yet for me to take the Jags money line I could see them covering plus three and a half still think I lean Dolphins um but I think these are two good teams and two playoff teams this year yeah I I share most of the the same sentiment I think if I'm taking anything in this game and maybe I'm falling into a trap picking the the high totals but I probably go over here also we saw Miami um beat this total on their own couple times last year and then pretty weak defense in Jacksonville and Miami also lost a few guys on the defensive end um Christian Wilkins being the big one but uh and and in the linebacker room but yeah I I think I like the over here like you said to Brian Tom Thomas Jr coming to Jacksonville and correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Christian Wilkins left he did might still be okay he yeah I mean I don't I don't think Dolphins defense is gonna be as great and this is just an explosive offense and I kind of think about Jacksonville in the same way just more of the light vering well side I agree with that did you know that I did not remember that Odell Beckham is a wide receiver here for uh the Dolphins to be honest I didn't know that no CL he's falling off my radar oh yeah I mean like who really cares about him it's just I just not year this this Dolphins defense I think people forget the Dolphins defense last year finished at PFF number four overall they were pretty scary I know they lost uh Wilkins but they still got some great guys like Jaylen Ramsey Javon holl in their free safety Jordan por who I love from the bill strong safety Kendall Fuller pretty pretty well at cornerback Bradley chub who was pretty solid there at kind of the he's an outside linebacker but in the three four system he's a pass rusher uh Jaylen Phillips was great at the other um outside linebacker pass rusher position clas Campbell at the legitimate DN spot I think they got a lot of names who you know getting older but a lot of really good talent there um I want to say that Vic fer was their DB or DC last here so losing him might be a pretty big deal but we see yeah not not at least a Swiss cheese defense by any means no no no a lot of big GES but we'll see how it all all pie it was Vic Van last year thanks for moving on but it waser next match up another divisional game and this is actually one of my more favorite matchups of the entire week one um AFC South game here with Texans coming in is a point and a half favorite on the rad against the Colts one of two games with a road favorite in week one and I'm going to just jump into this one I'm all over the Colts money line plus 108 Colts were fifth in the NFL in sacks last year pretty quietly they added latu in the draft who was arguably the best pass rusher and we really saw stad struggle last year more of a pocket passer against the rush um they do have tonsil but not the strongest o line in in Houston and I also think I mean everybody's hyping up this Houston roster how well they did last year especially the wide receiver room Collins D Stefan digs but I don't think the the Colts are too far behind with Pitman downs and then adding Mill through the draft I think this team could easily win this week one matchup and I mean the spread is pretty close to even but with Richardson last year the Colts won this game um between Stout and Richardson in their first NFL matchup so I mean I like the Colts a lot here at home I think getting them plus money is an absolute steal I know the Texans are good they made the playoffs dco Ryan's great head coach but I think the Colts are kind of on the same train and as long as Richardson's healthy they they'll be just fine at home yeah I really like a lot of the points that you mentioned and I kind of sense a trap line with this one as well people are going to see that these two teams and judge them based on their performance last year obviously Texans far exceeded expectations with their playoff performance um and appearance as well and the Colts didn't do very well but they also were without Anthony Richardson much of the year I hate taking Road teams against divisional opponents especially when it spreads this close I'm with you with the Colts here sneaky um getting pretty close to an elite defense there G Bradley does a great job of coordinating that unit they don't have the status in pf grad to justify that um Elite near Elite defense status but they have been one of the toughest teams to put points on um when they're healthy and I think they got a really staunch front seven especially now it's they're secondaries put the test like you said really solid wide receiver room for the Texans but um if that secondary can hold up and really play Bend don't break especially if they can get some pressure on the quarterback like you mentioned I think this is going to be a wildly entertaining game here I think um I might take the under I think 48 and a half is a little high compared to um what I think both these defenses can do especially being a divisional match up guys come out a little more intensity um but I'm with you here I like close to win this game too yeah I like it all right getting close to the end here got a few more games to go through got the Raiders going to the Char ERS um both teams disappointing Seasons last year some head coaching changes the Antonio Pierce kind of pick up the slack for the Raiders last year and then Harbaugh um making his debut for the Chargers here um not not another matchup that I'm super interested in but what are your thoughts with the trackers opening minus three yeah I'll keep this quick like you mentioned only a few games left here uh again seems like trap came to me Raiders um really quietly a top 10 defensive unit last year like you we just met they got Wilkins in the dline to pair up with Max Crosby there um that dline as is IV he's one of the best pass rush in the game Chargers team while they dig it Jo Al's not a great offensive line they lost Kean Allen kind of searching for an identity with the wide receiver one they lost Austin neckar running back their defense is getting old they really only have Derwin James there lean on K ma getting old um I think they Garner mitchu like like we said I think it's better that Garner muu starting here um kind of similar situation to Sam darnold In Minnesota where he's probably going to be better than anel Connell early on I think the Raiders plus three here is a good pick I think charterers minus three and a half is a trap pick is I think the Raiders usually play pretty well against their division opponents they do they come to play a lot they gave the Chiefs run off their money last season too yeah I like going with the Raiders here too just for consistency had Pierce at least for a few games last year Harbaugh running a completely new system a lot of new faces mhm I like that a lot all right next up on the Super Bowl matchup from a decade ago we got the Denver Broncos coming in as five and a half Point dogs against Seattle um Lumen Stadium unless they renamed it one of the toughest places to play in the entire NFL yeah it's one of the toughest places to play in the NFL regardless and we do know it's going to be Bon's first NFL start what your thoughts on that story line no it is Lumen Stadium you're right um I think that Bron can have a tough time here I like the Seahawks to hopefully take a step up offensively with uh both Zack shanet and Kenneth Walker at running back I think both those guys are very talented and they can lean on both of them to keep that offense turning along I think I would love to see Jackson Smith and jigo take a step off offensively and become really the guy there wide receiver I really the story is Seahawks um have better offensive play than the Broncos bone Knicks we'll see what he can do I'm not the most optimistic of rookie quarterbacks um in their first games especially one like bonck that you know quarterbacks that spend a lot of years in college don't normally and typically perform great in the NFL but maybe that's his recency bias I like to see here five and a half seems like a lot given how good the Broncos defense can be um so I think stay away from the spread just given the variability of their quarterback play but it is worth being said the Broncos defense played awful last year yeah more of an avoid game for me um a lot of a lot of uncertainties for me looking at the Broncos and even the Seahawks all right next matchup um one of the games I'm looking forward to got the Cowboys going in his two and a half Point underdogs against the Cleveland Browns um story line I'm looking at for this one is the the Cowboys are starting two rookies on the old line one being Tyler K guing it tackle I think it's going to be a nightmare for them against the the Cleveland pass rush so I'm I'm all over the Browns I think they're G to run away with this game still have CD lamb holding out um a really paper thin um arsenal of weapons for Dallas I mean you got Ezekiel Elliott starting at running back I just I think it's could be a big drop off defense is still there but no Dan Quinn so I I'm with the Browns pretty yeah no Dan Quinn but they did get um who's the Mike Mike Mike Z thank you love that guy I can't think of his name though um I'm with you this the big two big story lines are how does the Dallas Hopman line hold up against the defensive line of the Browns in very well correlated to that is how are these running backs going to do I think C is not a good running back back was it Rico D um we'll see what he can do there but again I think the trenchers are where the cowards are going to really struggle here especially with the offensive line for that reason it's hard not to take the Browns here I'm all agree all right next game uh three games left we got the commanders coming in another game they're saying it's about even at a neutral sight are you trusted in Jaden Daniels to pick up a win in his first career n game like you said it's kind of a staya away game for me um I could see jayen Daniels getting done because he's so versatile with his legs he's just a playmaker and one of the more impressive guys that have drafted um in this previous draft um but the Bucks played really well last year surprised a lot of people in winning that Division and winning a playoff game um I think I would have to ride the Bucks here uh but you know what you're going to get out of the buck you don't know what you're going to get out of the commanders and that's what makes this game a little more fun for me than otherwise would be so I'm be happy to watch this one um and see what Jane Danel can do because I do think I could see a fourth quarter comeback from him yeah no I I hope he's exciting as as advertised all right two games left we got two really good ones on the Slate here we got the the Rams going in his three and a half Point dogs against Detroit we've talked about the the quarterback swap many of times already um week one who do you like uh two teams that overperformed last year yeah I honestly I'm not sure here because I two offensive matchs and sea McVey and Ben Johnson here he had the full arsenal and a lot of tricks at their sleeves I'm sure for game one totals really high I like the over still you saw a big shootout between like the Seahawks and Lions last year where the Lions lost at home on a really high scoring fair I can see the same thing happening here I think I like the Rams plus three and a half Lions though I think are going to be a different beis here and really really hungry and they're honestly my favorite out the NFC to make it to the Super Bowl I think they win this game here yeah I mean p puka is questionable I think whether he plays or not part of this game but yeah I mean the Lions something to prove hopefully they could build on last year I'm I'm waiting for puka status to come out but all right just two minutes left spend it on this this Monday night game we got the New York Jets hopefully we could see Aaron Rogers play the entire game and more than that this year but they're coming in as four and a half Point dogs to the 49ers who PFF says is the number one team in the NFL according to their power rankings you see the Jets pulling something off this season um do you also see it coming together this early or do you think it's gonna take some time no I think Tak some time although it's tough to bet against Rogers in prime time um this Niners team too overwhelming just about all facets of the game for for me to pick Aaron Rogers to come back and just pick it up against the best team in football right away uh while Brock p is gonna have his hands full with his defense uh I like the 49ers to win again same thing I just mentioned with Ben Johnson and McVey um you get the 49ers with a whole Playbook and a lot of new plays and tricks to run on offense I think that's going to be the difference here could say the same thing about the Jets but they just don't have the type of cerebral that the 49ers possess um and with Kyle shanan so like the 49ers here the defense of the Jets is too good for me to like the 49ers four and a half but if I had to pick one it would be that 49ers four and a half because Aaron Rogers tends to be to struggle against really great defenses and because he doesn't have that patience to give a take what the defense gives him he tries to force it a little bit too much from what I've seen yeah I for for that same reason I like the under in this one the Jets defense lives up to what they were last year same with the n um just thinking the Jets take a little bit to get going on offense I I really like the under in this this Monday night match well S I like it to number one and number three defensive teams in the League last year Jets being number one um I think the Jets even take a step up defensively this year they're just scary scary good yeah
