today I mean hopefully he paid attention to the game last night the big thing for Pete is just throw strikes uh eliminate the four pitch walks that seem to creep in there twice a start and be cognizant of of your surroundings you know if you got a base open and a left hander on Deck no need to pitch to the guy in front so uh Pete's you know going through a little bit of growing spurt so hopefully he can start to slow the game down a little bit make some good pitches and and not make mistakes it's going to cost him a chance to win a ball game Ryan SCA status he hasn't played for a couple of games not going to play for a while he's got a bad shoulder how bad is it uh I don't know I know he's not going to play for probably 3 weeks so do you keep him on your roster right now he is but uh he'll be DL soon retro to the last time he played did it happen just through where or did he crash into a wall that I didn't see crash into a wall I don't know how it's progressed to the point that it has no one's told me anything about it but um needless to say he's a right-handed throw and a left-handed hitter it's not something that you're going to have time and patience to work through and and treatment you're going to have to leave it alone for 2 weeks to get inflammation out of it before you can start building up and start participating in baseball activities now they're whole yeah well we got 10 guys and I wouldn't consider it to be a hole I mean it's just one of those deals he's a good player and we'd like to have him in our lineup just unfortunately for him he's going to be going to be out for a while fighting injury this the second time he's been hurt this year so you know we're we're no different than any other team that's you know we're going to be be prone to injuries and it's happened to us this year so far so hopefully we can get through this and and not be bitten you know going forward thanks Rick all right Rick 40 field manager of the lake old eyes baseball club a little guarded when he was discussing Ryan SCA here's what we know here's how we read between the lines and all of that he said that he's not going to be involved at being Ryan SCA in baseball activity for probably about 3 weeks that might be conservative Ed but he said 3 weeks did Rick forny he also said that he's probably going to wait for a little further evaluation and that sco will be DED at some point in the next few days retro to the last game that he played I would think if in the next 48 hours 72 hours in the next I don't know week if they get further diagnosis that the shoulder he used the word progress to this point with the injury I would say regress to the point with this injury is not better and it doesn't look like it's going to get better probably he'll play he'll be placed on the inactive list and that's probably the best place to go the 30-day inactive list comes off your cap you save some money that way if they think that he could probably go in a couple weeks they might eat the cap for the first week or so or they've already done that to some degree and he'll be placed on the disabled list so there are some options but I think there's still still some questions about the status and the severity of the injury on the shoulder and exactly what it is on Ryan SCA uh that is a big bat to have out of the gold eyes lineup it was a guy that was driving in some runs a guy that has some pretty good Wheels a guy that's pretty good in the Outfield and a guy that with runners in scoring position and two outs probably had the best batting average on the team at around 350 so you know the gold eyes as Rick tried to be well not so matter of fact about it but understandably uh fair to everybody in the league he said everybody's got injuries we've got this one we'll deal with it we'll move along here but I think what they're really worried about is the question mark as to the severity of it and I think that they'll know in good time or Ryan will certainly know as the only one that knows your body better is you and unfortunately for the gold eyes they're having to suffer this injury everybody is going pretty well right now and they do have somebody on the bench that they just can't pull off to play and I would imagine that the gold eyes will have a roster decision or a transaction in terms of a roster move with Ryan SCA to the DL
