and if I had to be another person to stand up I think after really going through this and looking at the files and looking at the case if I really feel that Karen Reed didn't do this and I have to be a voice that stands up and helps I would we are expected to learn more about the allegations against the girlfriend of a Boston police officer who was found unresponsive in the snow Saturday morning it team sources say Karen Reed was in a relationship with John O'Keefe she's facing charges including motor vehicle homicide and mo Slaughter we're the only ones fighting for the truth of what happened to John O and me and my family and my attorneys and my team have marshalled every resource to get to the truth just feels like no one else wants it now just because you didn't do it we know who did it Steve we know and we know who spar headed this cover up you all know yes you do and no she didn't do it no she didn't do it this is an innocent woman she didn't do it I tried to save his life I tried to save his life at 6:00 in the morning I was covered in his I was the only one trying to save his life why did you Adit he didn't she didn't admit to it she didn't admit to anything close to that nothing close to that and you should know that I was like three or four times she no she didn't that's not true she asked a question she asked a question which is very very different she didn't admit to [Music] anything I'm going to tell you one thing Karen Reed's not going to fold Karen Reed's not going to give up defense team's not going to quit the free Karen Reed movement is going to continue we will continue to raise funds for her we will continue to do standouts across Massachusetts Across the Nation across the world to let everybody know uh what's going on here in the state Reed standout uh right beside me in planville Massachusetts it was such a great spontaneous moment and uh I actually was I was live at that point on Facebook and it was really cool and um I have a huge smile on my face there was so many people out today and you know I thought it'd be a great tribute just to go through the Justice page and and look through some of the photos and videos today uh I had a lot of fun out there today and it was well worth it I mean you couldn't even ask for a better day the weather was amazing uh across here in the state of Massachusetts and even in some of the states that you know obviously are not mass but I I saw like San Diego I saw Florida uh I think there was South Carolina that was tweeting at me today I mean it just it couldn't have been better and the energy was so positive and people were just so positive and it was just nice to get out there and see everybody because I know like I can't see you know all the uh the free Caren Reed supporters every day but it's nice to get out there and mingle with all of you and it's such a collective community and everybody is there to support each other so it was just such a great day and uh you know I I can't I can't say you know enough it just really caught me by surprise um personally I started off at denam I'm sure that you watched the live stream this morning we had an amazing treat uh Karen Reed's family showed up and we had Karen herself there which was really great to catch those moments with all the supporters in Dam and then I um I drove down to Plymouth to end the day oh God that was amazing it was crazy uh they have a nice little spot there near Warf 6 great area uh for food and sites and the people and uh Renee if you're watching I'm so glad that I made it down to Plymouth because you kept telling me you got to come to Plymouth you got to come to Plymouth and I was going to make today that day and uh it was just awesome so if you were all down there in Plymouth today and it's nice because I'm getting to know a lot more of you personally I'm getting to know a lot more of you you come up you say you you support LTL you let me know your chat name uh I who was it today I met I met sidebar and krill which was awesome uh today out in denam and it's really cool because I'm starting to put the faces to the screen the screen names and uh it's been a lot of fun and to know that we're all collectively out there staring standing up for justice you know and there's a lot of movement there's a lot of things going on uh we just saw you know some Domino's fall in Sandra burchmore's case uh I'm I'm hearing and seeing a lot of things that that some action is finally being taken you know and I laugh and I and I say this I say this and I was talking about this to a lot of the the people that were standing out today you know I said I I grabbed Peter Murphy at one point I said you know it's like they keep calling us crazy they call us crazy but things happen and people get arrested and people get criminal charges on them so it's a great feeling it's a good feeling and I feel like uh 2025 is going to be an amazing year for the free Caren Reed movement uh we're going to see people go down the proper people starting to get arrested for the crimes that they've done and um you know it's it's it's going to be a good year I tell you it's going to be a really good year um I see a lot of the Ghost Squad in here it's nice to see the Ghost Squad in here and uh a lot of the supporters are out there let me know in the chat where you were today if you could stand out I'd love to see that it would be really great to see where everybody stood out today but again uh not a super long live tonight just wanted to do a little review I want to uh shout out actually a lot of the creators that I saw out there today I saw Tom CPU I saw Maza out there posting obviously Aiden Turtle Boy Carney was out there today he hit a lot of them I wish I could have run into him today but we weren't at the same spots uh obviously we saw the Reeds out there we saw Karen Tracy and Dana from resistance of Silence was out there and Plymouth which was awesome I think Mike from Young jerks was out streaming and then micro dox uh popped in to the dadam um denim standout which was awesome and uh you know and all the regulars you know Peter Murphy uh Rita um you know just just all the people that are out there Shawn that never puts his arms down you know I always say Sean you must have uh must have sticks on your arms that are permanently affixed to keeping the sign up he never puts that sign down and that's just a great Testament to him and and to do that but it was awesome and and I was really happy to see tons of the people and the supporters out there you know and and listen it doesn't it's not one person you know this movement collectively takes uh voices and masses to to move mountains and that's something that we're doing here and uh you know I I know that the reads are are very appr appreciative of what everybody's been doing and it was you know it was awesome today too to see the picture of Karen and Turtle boy together that was dope as [ __ ] you know I saw that and I was like wow that's awesome I'm glad that they could get together in a common area and have that photo together and I'm telling you I'm waiting you know when once this is all this is all done and Karen walks out of that courtroom a free woman I can't wait to see the interview that they have together and see that Dynamic you know everything that he has done everything that he has done to to help her and start this movement you know and I talked about this on my stream the other night it's it's a pebble you know it's one Pebble and he was that that person that held that Pebble and dropped it and it created this wave you know this wave now that has been across the world and everybody knows about this I think uh Shan Shan said that his wife was in Spain and she had held up a free Karen Reed sign I think his wife actually was in France as well and held up a a free camera Read Sign there too so I mean this is worldwide we have a lot of Aussies we have Canadians that follow us and uh it's really cool and it's really satisfying to see that that people really care about this and we want to get it out of you know and I I don't mean this in an offensive way I we want to get it out of the bubble that we're in you know we need to push this further and get it out and let people know about Karen's case uh Turtle boy's case Sandra's case and and especially to get you know Justice for John um but we we want to you know get it out of that bubble so it is awesome to see everybody here uh all my mods are in here the goh squad's in here it's really cool and uh we will we'll lining the street waving signs and proclaiming Reed's innocence we still want to support her right through you know we we're not going to stop we're not going to quit there were also demonstrations on this street corner in quinsey on the town Green in Taunton on this highway overpass in wayth and on the waterfront in Plymouth re organizers said more than 40 rallies were planned across Massachusetts plus as far away as Florida California and Australia rers insist Reed did not murder her boyfriend a Boston police officer named joh o'keef took one look at the autopsy photos and knew it was not the truth that they were trying to sell us I hope I meet all of you one day and I don't know you but I love you Reed and her family visited several of the protest one she compared the prot was Tak to the ones that ended the Vietnam war protest to the Vietnam War and ended it that's this the modern equivalent to that so just thank you all Reed faces a second criminal trial next year J O's family recently filed a wrongful death lawsuit against her many of the protesters have contributed to Reed's legal fund you want to give us an idea of how much you've contributed oh few hundred will say at least yeah and are you willing to contribute more of course of course as long as it takes you know that's right we did reach out today to John O'Keefe's family plus the norol County District Attorney's Office neither responded to our requests for comment live in Plymouth David be wcbb News Center 5 all right so that's the mainstream media reporting uh not bad not a bad little snippet I 10 let's back the mass murder case that continues to Captivate people across the country today a national standout took place in solidarity with Karen Reid the woman accused of killing her Boston police officer boyfriend Jon O'Keefe NBC TS osar margain joining us live from Dam Oscar good afternoon to you the mistrial was declared two months ago now so what is motivating all of these people to take was all over the place today too good for him that's awesome hey Colton well the people we spoke to today say that this movement as they call it is much bigger than just the Karen Reed case they say it's about calling out corruption and fighting in Justice hence why people across the country took this Labor Day to mobilize everybody's fighting for a reason and Karen Reed has moved this country clusters of Karen Reed supporters all over the country put the work this Labor Day in an effort to put pressure on authorities and free Karen Reed Americans and a lot of people uh like the idea of supporting the underdog Reed herself taking notice paying her supporters a visit in Dam while her brother greeted others in Quincy some turnouts larger than others if you have heard this story and if you are empathetic like the three of us and the people nationally doing these standouts you will be here the 44 yearold is accused of ramming her SUV into her then boyfriend Boston police officer John o'keef and leaving him for dead during a snowstorm in January of 2022 her two-month trial ended in July when jurors became deadlocked after five days of deliberations read supporters by her side every step of the way the more you looked into it the more you realized that something is gone ay here in this particular case two months after the mistrial awareness of the read case continues to spread spawning standouts from New England awesome fighting for something larger than just Karen Reed it means something to the people across the country it's one step at a time and we're getting there it could be any one of us what great we hold police to a higher standard and they take an oath and they're sworn in that oath good stuff to now there were some folks also in the UK and in Australia who were trying to organize their own standouts some if not most of those now coming up at I'm going to bring the story of a readed supporter out of Florida and why she and others there in that state believe that this case is resonating and the reason why they're also mobilizing there reporting live in DEA Moscow Marg and NBC 10 that one was good that was really good thanks for
