[Music] it's roster cutdown day in the NFL and the Buffalo Bills have finalized their active 53 man roster but they've just made an addition to their practice squad by signing veteran backup quarterback Mike White who's Now set to join the third AFC East team of his NFL career welcome back to the bills bunker I'm Jake Varco and I Was preparing for my fantasy draft that's just about to happen but the Buffalo Bills make this signing adding Mike White to their practice squad so I had to come and talk to you about this new addition to the Buffalo Bills practice squad Mike White someone who's probably known best by Bill's Mafia for when he got crushed by Matt Milano but either way Mike White he is a serviceable backup in the National Football League and in this video I'm going to talk to you about what he brings to the Buffalo Bills quarterback room but before I do that I'd like to take a moment to encourage you to click that subscribe button stay tuned for more content coming away all throughout the season I'll be attending every single home game in Buffalo and I'll be going to a road game as well so stay tuned for all that great content and so much more the Buffalo Bills have a superstar quarterback in Josh Allen and his health has been extraordinary at the NFL level but it's always a good idea to have an insurance policy at the backup quarterback position and on roster cutdown day the bills made the decision to cut Ben denucci and currently the bills backup quarterback is Mitch trabis but he looked awful in his limited preseason action and he suffered an injury that could keep him sidelined for the early part of the season and that's why the Buffalo Bills added Mike White to their practice squad white has proven to be a serviceable backup quarterback over the past few seasons with the dolphins and with the Jets and he's also seen a fair share of action playing in 14 games over the last 3 years completing over 62% of his passes for 2219 yards with nine touchdowns to 13 interceptions so let's be real Mike White isn't going to blow anybody away but he's proven that he can be a serviceable backup in the National Football League and that's why the bills brought him in to Buffalo the bills have a franchise quarterback in Josh Allen so white likely won't be asked to do very much at all and if he can make a good impression on the practice squad then perhaps he can overtake Mitch trabis as the team's primary backup we're still waiting on a timeline for tris's return from injury but with that in mind Mike White could have a chance to be elevated from the practice squad for the first few games of the regular season and serve as the qb2 behind Josh Allen to start off the year and if that's the case and Mike White does indeed impress as the Buffalo Bills back back up quarterback with Mitch trabis injured then perhaps Mike White actually takes over as the long-term quarterback too because we all know that Bill's Mafia has been crying desperately for a new quarterback behind Josh Allen I really like the addition of quarterback Mike White to the Buffalo Bills practice squad it's a lowrisk high reward signing I think it's someone who has proven to be a serviceable backup in the National Football League and could be an upgrade over Mitch trabis so obviously we have to wait and see what Mitch trabis status is over the next few weeks but Mike White solid Edition he's someone who's proven that he can play in the National Football League and he's now on his third AFC East team completing a bit of a trifacta here maybe one day he ends up on the Patriots in plays for all four AFC East teams but right now he's a member of the Buffalo Bills and I'm all for it I want to know your thoughts about this Edition in the comments mment section down below if you haven't yet click that subscribe button like this video and let me know your thoughts on the addition in the comments section below as I mentioned at the top of this video I'll be going to every single home game for the Buffalo Bills in 2024 and I'll be going to a road game as well so stay tuned for all that content that's coming your way all season long right here on the bills bunker I'm Jake Varco signing off go bills oh [Music]
