Kansas City Chiefs Just Made HEARTBREAKING CUTS to roster

one day after the CH resigned Juju Smith Shuster it was an absolute blood liting on Tuesday in the wide receiver room what's up everybody I'm D boo here with your Chief news of the day yeah guys check this out first and foremost if you haven't heard the big news of the day he is gone and I hate to say that I'm not terribly saddened by this one cheese cutting cadarius coner and a further receiver shakeup here's what we know so far after a disappointed in AI 2023 campaign cadarius Tony's time with the Kansas City Chiefs is now over the team is waving the wide receiver NFL media Ian report Rapaport reported today on Tuesday after catching a touchdown and reeling off a 65 yard punt in Super Bowl 57 Tony was expected to play a leading role in the Chiefs title repeat bid as part of a new look receiving core but he played a central an Infamous role in two of the team's most prominent losses as he earned a ridicu for series of drops in the opener in the Detroit Lions game and then lined up off sides on the play that negated what would have been the go-ahead touchdown against the Buffalo Bills Tony was uh inactive for the team's final seven games last season and of course though the Chiefs completed their Super Bowl uh repeat push the team still pursued a significant shake up at this wide receiver position so that's the first news that we know today obviously and uh obviously the second news here is that the Chiefs also released wide risk receiver Justin Ross he is also out as a Kansas City chief so the former Clemson star will have to look for a new home uh in the NFL oops let's go back and look at that again uh former Clinton standa wide receiver it says here Justin Ross has been released by the Kansas City Chiefs ending his time with the team Ross was an undrafted free agent for the Chiefs appearing in 10 games and recording 53 yards on six receptions in this season of course we knew that he was a stand out at Clemson and there's a lot of High Hope for him when he came here to the Kansas City Chiefs about what he could do that just never really worked out for Justin Ross but here's the good news Clemson fans and Kansas City Chiefs fans and people that just will Justin uh Ross Goodwill and a and a thank you for your service uh to this franchise uh he will find another team guaranteed uh he will find another team and he will catch on somewhere in the NFL it's just not going to be in the red and gold there in uh Kansas City Missouri so uh cadarius Tony out Justin Ross is out and then um unfortunately uh my uh guy here uh H really bummed about this one guys ches cutting former rugby star Luis uh Lis ree zamit today uh if you haven't heard about this guy if You' been living under a rock Chiefs fans the guy was a rugby star from Wales came over dreamed of being a Kansas City chief well dreamed of playing in the NFL dream that his dad had for him he left a lucrative career and Rockstar status in Wales as a rugby star there in the United Kingdom and wanted to come over to the United States to pursue his dreams of claiming the NFL that came with it though however those dreams came with it the reality that he never played a down of organized football in his life not uh NFL not College not high school not peeee League you know so he was um obviously a tremendous athlete tremendously fast incredibly hard worker uh but the Kansas City Chiefs just simply don't have the room to take on um pet projects and and development projects we are in a win and wind now mode and so uh Lewis Rees zamit getting the ax today on Tuesday as well and so three wide receivers out right here as we're whittling down this 53 I feel bad for Lewis Reese Z again though like Justin Ross um uh like um uh those who who who wish him nothing but Goodwill uh here's a good thing about Lewis Reese Zam it is hopefully no other teams pick him up off the Chiefs uh wire here in the next week although I do think somebody will and I I think he'll go to another team he's just got such good skills and people just want to stick it to the Chiefs unless you're the Buffalo Bills and then you give us rra sorry sorry sorry those fans but yeah people want to stick it to the Chiefs and so I can imagine that somebody's going to pick him uh pick that guy up um but if he doesn't he could be back here on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad uh very soon as early as next week maybe develop those skills and turn into a potential punt returner hey even later this season but for now cardarius Tony excuse me uh zamit out uh there in Kansas City but don't pack your bags and move back to the uned kingdom kid too soon because they think that the teams are going to come a calling now those are the big blood lettings there's more to break down we'll do that tomorrow but the good news is is that uh uh we have signed Juju Smith Sher we've got uh Maris Brown who will be coming back from that injury sooner than later they are speculating I was laughing about the bills because of course remember that the Chiefs uh traded with the bills the bills allowing the Chiefs uh this draft uh to uh move up ahead of them and pick up the fastest man at the NFL combine in NFL history in Maris Brown and the Chiefs pick him up and of course we know that we have Rashi rice for however long he gets to play this year we don't know yet when that suspension is going to be now Juju Smith Shuster coming and then you still got mccole Hardman and a bunch of other guys vying for that number five spot but the week is early and there could be more signings as I said yesterday just because you make the FI the first 53 really doesn't mean that you make the final 53 because other teams out there are cutting players as well so there could be a wide receiver out there that suddenly just goes Boop and is available and uh hopefully we uh swoop in and pick him up because uh I am no offense I appreciate his heart but I am not necessarily the biggest mle Hardman uh disciple
